Moxa, I didn't realize that and don't understand that at all. What was the risk for PTSC, and what was the point? If that was the case, why would any company pay for a license? Why was Sony any different? Did they have better lawyers? I don't see the downside for Patriot in any of these negotiations, what do they have to lose? Logically, it seems like they have almost everything going for them, especially with the favorable Markman. I understand that there is risk in litigation, but why would they settle early with Sony and go all the way with these others?
