The Eagles All-Star Game will allow the nation and professional scouts to access the talent and perhaps receive invitations to camps and workouts.

The DFL is a new league, with an old idea. The DFL gives players with talent and determination the training and opportunity to prove themselves. The DFL was created to provide a chance for these individuals who may have been overlooked, believed not ready for the pros, or free agents who were injured and now need to prove their readiness and ability to make it at the next level. 210 players will be drafted for the inaugural DFL Season. Four weekends of games will culminate in the first DFL All-Star Game. The DFL All-Star Game will allow the nation and professional scouts to access the talent, and perhaps make invitations to camps and workouts.

DFL Selects San Jacinto, California For Headquarters And Season
March 12, 2008
Scenic complex chosen for quality and experience
San Jacinto, CA - The Developmental Football League announced today that "The Oaks at Soboba" located in San Jacinto, California has been selected as the site for their headquarters and the inaugural DFL season.
In an agreement signed with the Director of The Oaks and Soboba Tribal Council leaders, the DFL will house their offices and administer the first DFL season at The Oaks on the Reservation of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians. Petersburg, VA and Lawrence, KS were among the other finalist locations.
DFL Vice President of Football Operations Eric Wright stated, "The Oaks is a perfect fit for all of our DFL programming. The location itself provides us plenty of room for future growth."
"We will be working with the Tribal Council to build a year round football operation that will be mutually beneficial," Wright added. "This will result in some economic stimulus in the local communities."
The DFL Headquarters has now been relocated and filming of the DFL reality show, "Next Level" is set to begin to commence shortly.
The Oaks at Soboba is situated in a very secluded 480 acres surrounded with picturesque hills, valleys, mountainous terrain, flat lands and hundreds of beautiful California Oaks.
"Robert Salgado, former Tribal Chairman of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians played a big role in our selection of this location as well as did Becky Flores, who is the Director of The Oaks," Wright said. "Together they opened their doors and welcomed us into the Soboba community."
The DFL board chose the football facilities and stadium located at The Oaks based on experience, quality, and cost. The complex hosts many different sports events year around.
"We are ready for the DFL and our experience as the official training location of the Los Angeles Avengers' Arena 1 Football League camp has us really prepared," Flores said.

Blakely, Ga -- An entire block of North Church Street in Blakely is surrounded by crime scene tape. On the pavement, spray paint marks the ground where a deadly shooting unfolded just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning.
New Orleans Saints defensive end and former UGA standout Charles Grant was stabbed in the neck with an unknown object.
"He took out a pistol and started shooting every kinda way. And I just hit the ground," said Dominique Sol. He was outside of Club 92 where witnesses say someone opened gunfire, one of the shots striking and killing his 23-year-old pregnant cousin Korynda Reed.
"We were like call the ambulance, call the ambulance. Nobody was doing none of that. So everybody around was crying trying to bring her back and stuff. Folks was crying and passing out," Sol said.
Early County Sheriff's investigators say several hundred people were in the street outside of Porky's Social Club where the fight started and Club 92, both along North Church Street.
Grant was treated for the wound and released from the Early Memorial Hospital. He was outside of the Early County Sheriff's Office Sunday with family members but had no comment.
Grant, a Miller County native who was a first round NFL draft pick out of UGA in 2002, was questioned, along with several others, but only as witnesses in the case.
So far sheriff's investigators say that no one has been charged or held in connection with the crime.
Investigators tell us that Korynda Reed's body will be transported to the crime lab in Dekalb County on Monday for an autopsy.

DEVELOPMENTAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE - PRESS RELEASE
Developmental Football League Announces Media Relations Director
February 1, 2008
New appointment comes from the college football world
LOS ANGELES, CA -- The Developmental Football League (DFL) announced Ralph Wallace will lead the media relations effort for the new league as their Director beginning immediately. Wallace comes to the DFL from College Sporting News, a new service of Division I football and has been working with American Football Alumni (AFA), the parent company of the DFL, since November, 2007.
“Ralph helps us hit the ground running with his extensive experience,” said DFL President Curtis Watts. “His media and administration background is a big asset to our operations as we move along to our first season and beyond.”
Wallace founded the news service College Sporting News (CSN) in the year 2000 and entered sports and football community relations in the early 1990’s.
“I’m thrilled to join the DFL and I look forward to working with the league in promotions and media penetration,” Wallace said. “I will be developing content and using the newest technologies to assist not only the DFL as a company, but the players and coaches too.”
Under his direction, CSN became the largest new service of the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS, formally I-AA). CSN has more columnists than any other new service in the world dedicated to covering the FCS, and currently syndicates its content across the country to colleges, universities, conferences and various media outlets in the arena of newspapers, magazines, radio, and television including College Sports Television (CSTV).
In addition to the news service, Wallace developed the first FCS annual preview magazine, an international email newsletter, the first national FCS weekly talk show, and he forged relationships with companies like the Collegiate Licensing Company (the official brand of the NCAA) to offer FCS apparel and other products for the first time.
CSN also supplies the AFA and their American Football Alumni Network (AFAN) with the latest news and original content used throughout the AFAN enterprise.
In his spare time he enjoys coaching youth baseball and serving as Cubmaster for the local Cub Scouts unit.
He attended DePaul University and is a member of the College Sports Information Directors Association. Wallace lives in Skokie, Illinois with his two sons.

American Football Alumni Announces the Developmental Football League
Today, January 31, 2008, 1 hour ago
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The American Football Alumni, Inc. creates the Developmental Football League (DFL) and its associated website at www.GoDFL.com . For the first time the DFL allows football players the opportunity to develop and advance their skills at the pro level with the ultimate goal of playing or continuing to advance at the professional level.
The DFL provides a dynamic showcase in form of league games for developing players to be viewed at a professional level environment. All aspects of play are covered by the team concept of defense, offense and special teams, all aimed at furthering the player’s careers. The mission is to provide an athlete the opportunity to attract exposure, learn, improve, and to gain experience at the highest level possible.
The DFL will conduct six pro-day combines this winter to measure player skills prior to the draft. The invitees will be nominated by their schools or by applying online. These combines are expected to attract 5 to 6 thousand applicants. All information gathered on the players will be shared with the professional leagues to assist these players in reaching their goal. Eight teams will be assembled from the thousand participating in the pro-days and will be DFL’s draft for its first season of play.
In addition, the DFL offers unprecedented insider access with in-person or online access to film rooms, practices, games, chalk talks, and even the playbooks. All-access will also be available through electronic media such as television, DVD, and online programming through the American Football Alumni Network (AFAN). Each player will have their individual profiles that can be accessed online by the professional leagues and their coaches and scouts.
Michael Greer, American Football Alumni Advisory Board Member and DFL Director of Football Operations stated, “This is a developmental league and not a minor or a semi-pro league. We will have three levels of athletes – college football players from the 2007-2008 season, free agents who are no more than two years removed from a professional football league, and free agents or college players who are no more than three years removed from their collegiate football seasons.”
“This is a very exciting venture,” stated Curtis Watts, President of American Football Alumni. “We believe that the DFL will become an integral part of the football world. Young players will be given new opportunities to be showcased. There are also many educational football opportunities that will arise from this development. For American Football Alumni we believe this will become a major part of our significance in the football world. So, as we say around our office and to all of the players already being contacted, “Welcome to the next level.””

Historical production at the Hidden Splendor Mine graded 0.20% U3O8 (4.4 lb per ton of yellow cake). Data obtained by the Company indicates a historical resource(i) of 180,000 lb U3O8 in 37,000 tons with an average grade of 0.25% U3O8. Mineralization is open on strike of the deposit and is the primary exploration target.
(i)Estimates of uranium resources are historical in nature, predate and are noncompliant with NI 43-101. Bluerock is not treating the historical estimate as current mineral resources or reserves. Bluerock has not undertaken any independent investigation of the resource estimates nor has independently analyzed the results of the previous exploration work in order to verify the resources, and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource. However, Bluerock believes that these historical estimates provide a conceptual indication of the potential of the occurrences and are relevant to ongoing exploration. Paul D. Gray, P.Geo., is the Qualified Person with respect to the Hidden Splendor Mine Project.
Prior to the mine closure in the late 1970's a lower lens of mineralization was identified in the course of normal production activities. 10,000 tons of ore was produced from this zone at a grade of 0.30% U3O8. This lens remains untested and represents a second target for the Company's exploration.
Under the terms of the option agreement which is subject to due diligence and exchange approval, Bluerock Resources Ltd. will earn 100% interest by paying US$40,000 in cash payments and US$150,000 in advanced royalties, and spending US$400,000 on exploration over three years. The Project is also subject to a 5% Royalty in favour of the vendors of the Project.
Bluerock President Michael Collins commented: "The Hidden Splendor Mine builds the Company's activities at the PSC Project and the corporate goal of developing a nucleus of significant resources in south central Utah."
Bluerock Resources Ltd. is a uranium exploration company focused on discovering tomorrow's energy today through the acquisition and development of conventional uranium resources.
