that is why I used the word 'some'
Maybe that is because Megas is not the decent person some has led all to believe. eventually time does expose the truth.
we need a ceo that communicates with all shareholders. It has been over a year now since he announced a reduction of 40% shares he is holding and he communicates, to a select shareholder, we are to speak nicely. I have written several emails in regards to this and have received no response. I know BGNN has a couple of good things happening, but Mahoney needs to respect the shareholders also and provide communication thru PRs or web site updates.
His silence is beginning to become deafening.
I checked this link out and Thomas Megas was not here either. It is the mining hall of fame.
http://mininghalloffame.org/inductees.asp
maybe someday.
None of the trash bags in the link for Deyparts are biodegradable.
So why would you think that biodegradable plastic from recycled plastics is not an option? IMO, 3 months is reasonable timeline. I have seen some paper bags take longer to degrade. Plus in Europe there are too many tree-huggers to allow paper bags to continue as it will result in less trees. Have to protect mother earth.
Correction to previous post. I meant to say "shareholder" meeting has not occurred for 18 months
As I have posted before, do your own due diligence. There are people on this board that got in on the hype before they did any due diligence and are now disgruntled and will make negative posts on this stock, IMO. Their right and privilege in a free country to say what they want to, but does not absolve them of the right to act responsibly.
There is a trend of this stock of peak volume and little to no volume. Pick the bottom trend for buying, but this is not to be construed as a recommendation. I have been around this stock for over two years now and have made money.
As I have said before, you need to know when to hold them and when to fold them. Patience is the call of the day.
My biggest issue right now is that this company has stated: "BGreen’s Board of Directors has authorized a reduction in the number of authorized Class A Common Stock shares of forty percent (40%). This reduction in the authorized shares is subject to shareholder approval at the next shareholders meeting.
This was first stated in February 2010, which since it has't happened yet, means there has not been a board meeting for almost a year and a half.
New web site under construction.
Do not let the day trader activity discourage you. This is typical trading cycle patterns, IMO looking at the trends, and there are some people manipulating this stock to discourage people here to sell out of frustration. Patience is required here.
Again, please do due diligence before buying any stock, especially on hype. Been here since .0004 and seen high of .0054 and back down to .0004. Need to know how to ride the roller coaster.
What goes up can and will come down. Natural law of the stock market.
Welcome all to, IMO, what has the potential to be a great ride. I have been a supporter and investor of BGNN for over two years. This is one of the better days, and it is great to see all the posts of excitement.
Truly as you have seen the testimonials, the products are real and the best part is they work. The company is posting a profit, while small at this time, and with name branding and consumer awareness BGNN can get wings and fly.
Best of success to all and enjoy the ride. But remember to do the proper due diligence before buying. Some people have gotten in without doing due diligence and bought on the upswing. they feel because they did not become a millionaire overnight, they now have a sour taste in their mouth for BGNN.
Got to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em
Things got a little shaken up down in PNG land. An earthquake rattled them down there today.
IMO, I do not think we are in the same boat as Megas. I do not remember having the opportunity to meet with the DTCC to discuss the condition of BCIT and the opportunity to respond to the SFC Grassley. Of course we know how both of those opportunities ended up.
We apparently are on the BCIT Titanic, except the captain has already left the ship.
I am not the one who raised the issue with cost here Ivestor. I was purely responding to someone that did not do their due diligence and fired off a rant on the costs of garbage bags without taking the time to do proper analysis. Respond to them, but I know you like to to get your digs in on me when you have the opportunity.
This market is huge when someone takes the time to research it. It is not as simple as just comparing costs. I agree cost per bag is one measure, but I was just trying to make a point of how detailed this can get.
BGreen is not the only manufacturer of biodegradable trash bags as I pointed out. The one manufacture says it takes 2 years to biodegrade. Just to begin with, do the people on this board know how long a BGreen bag takes to biodegrade?
Sir:
I do not know about you, but people do have garbage cans in their restrooms or next to vanities. Just because you do not use them or have need of them, does not mean other people(ie. 230 million + people in the US) do not have need of them. I think Hefty or even makers of Glad know what they are doing and if there was not a market for it, they would not manufacture and sell it.
Why be so smart alleck about someone providing information. Grow up.
One must compare apples to apples when doing true price comparison.
BGreen - 30@18gal.= 540 total gallons - biodegradable - 17.94
Hefty - 36@4gal.= 144 total gallons - non-biodegradable - 3.99
Glad - 40@13gal. = 520 total gallons - non-bidegradable - 9.99
Glad compactor bags - case of 48@18gal. = 864 gallons - non-biodegradable 37.08
One has to buy approximately 4 boxes of Hefty to get close to Bgreen in total gallons 4x144= 576 for $15.94.
This breaks down to average cost per gallon for bgreen at $.033 cents per gallon vs Hefty per gallon cost at $.028 cents per gallon. Or a difference of $.005 cents per gallon more for biodegradable versus non-biodegradable.
For Glad bags, 9.99 with febreeze scent added. Per gallon cost approx. $.019 or difference of $.014 cents per gallon.
In comparison to Hefty, one could easily justify to go with Bgreen. In comparison to Glad, the jury is out pending one's passion for going green. about a 40% difference. In todays economy, one would probably go Glad, except in California. Not certain if the law affects plastic garbage bags.
But when one actually compares apples to apples glad compactor($.043 cents per gallon) to bgreen compactor($.033 cents per gallon), bgreen wins hands down with a full $.01 cents per gallon with biodegradable feature.
Of course prices may vary pending location, coupons and discounts which can lower the cost per bag. As laws continue to change about plastic vs biodegradable plastic, bgreen at this time is the only game in town, to my knowledge.
I did find a product OXO biodegradable bags but it takes approx 2 years to biodegrade. When I have a little more time will continue providing cost comparisons.
SFC Grassley getting things done, but it takes time.
Senator Grassley is recognized as getting the IRS whisleblower program activated. This is the man that Megas sent the wanker letter to.
The story as follows:
An accountant who tipped off the IRS that his employer was skimping on taxes has received $4.5 million in the first IRS whistleblower award.
The accountant's tip netted the IRS $20 million in taxes and interest from the errant financial-services firm.
"It ought to encourage a lot of other people to squeal," Sen. Charles Grassley told The Associated Press. The Iowa Republican helped get the IRS Whistleblower Office authorized in 2006.
The IRS mailed the accountant's lawyer a $3.24 million check that arrived in suburban Philadelphia by first-class mail Thursday. The sum represents the award minus a 28 percent tax hit.
IMO, the same type of legislation is needed in Wall Street for those firms skimping the shareholders, like the BCIT shareholders have been by the DTCC, SEC, and the stockbrokers. If someone got that much money reporting tax evasion, just imagine how much someone could get by whistleblowing on Wall Street questionable activity as in the case of BCIT. Hopefully that is what Grassley is trying to do.
no way it was off topic. your opinion. Again master, you show your opinions seem to be the only one that matters here. What was stated was a fact about the CEO in relation to BCIT and the letter Megas wrote. The topic on this board is BCIT, isn;t it?
This is an important 'fact' to remember how all this was able to occur. DTCC is responsible for allowing this to happen. It is how and when Megas responded to the identity theft from his advisory/counsel panel to proper authorities(SEC,DTCC, and I will even say later to SFC) that really has BCIT in its current state, revoked, delisted and not trading.
The truth is out ther somewhere.
continue calling people names and tearing down people and they will continue to be deleted as personal attacks. This is childish. Are you saying you know the price that BGNN is selling to these companies? You continue to avoid the question, because the answer to this question may establish what you do not know and therefore making your complaint and argument invalid.
Most people do not know this, and are ok with buying the product from their place of choice. America is a free country. Why don't you be a good citizen and build a web site to notify all potential buyers, since you have nothing better to do. That would be great!
The web site may be okay with that. They want to sell green products. How do you know that the web site retailer/wholesaler gets a good price for the product, but decides they want a specific margin? Did you contact them? Do you know what price they are buying the product for from BGNN? Most resellers I know do not provide that price sheet with costs and markup. I have worked with retailers and wholesalers and know how secretive they keep this information.
Believe me, they do not want consumers to know what they paid for the product. But, I bet with you being a smart guy, know what these companies are paying cause you have access to inside information at BGNN.
I emailed SFC.
I am trying to get to the originating rock that started BCIT in this landslide into the abyss/black hole. It is this rock that enabled Megas to do what he did/didn't do from a legal perspective. Without this, there is no smoking gun. DTCC has to accept some responsibility Kruy, and if you do not believe that then you may be the one looking in wrong place. Someone within the DTCC allowed whatever started the rock rolling with BCIT to happen. This is critical to uncover before really understanding all the other pieces of the puzzle, which there seems to be a good time line once Megas PR'd the situation in August '05. Remember, this all started in April maybe sooner in '05.
DTCC is supposed to be the first line of defense for monitoring the validity of shares that are allowed to enter the market. Correct me if I am wrong here.
The DTCC did 'not' perform their job and allowed falsified certificates in the rat nest. WHo at the DTCC did this and did they know anyone of the Pino and/or Carter clan? How Megas responded to that infraction by the DTCC is why BCIT is delisted and not trading at this time. That was Megas fiduciary responsibility to the then shareholders of BCIT, which he has failed miserably at performing.
As I have stated before, Megas had a gold mine handed to him by the DTCC, but who he took advice from and acted on resulted in the situation today, now six years later.
So are you saying the person within the DTCC that allowed the forged certs from BCIT has been identified? And made public knowledge?
I find it interesting that no information that I can see identifies who in the DTCC allowed the false certs in their possession to begin with without proper vetting. And then information to determine what relationship that person(s) may have had with Pino/Pammy or even Carter Care or Sytner and/or Megas. It would be interesting to know what protection rules the DTCC did to prevent this type of thing from happening again. Maybe something like, just enforce the rules already in place.
Aim2Plez - I also received a phone call from PYCT, asking if I have been following the recent PRs? They apparently are contacting shareholders to inquire as to their interest and let shareholders know with new management team they are committed to improving revenues.
Also, my first time I have ever had a pinky company do this type of call campaign. Interesting twist. Unfortunately, I was unable to talk to the person as they called during the day and I was at work. But they did leave contact info for me to call back if I had any questions regarding state of PYCT.
the golf-god:
Just to let you know, God is still in the healing business today. Just a week ago, the church I attend prayed for a man that works at a local UDF store and had never been to a church in his 22 years. Several of our congregation stopped by to let him know we were praying for his health once we heard about his condition. He stopped by our church yesterday to give a report that when he went to the doctors last week for a check-up, the doctors could not find the cancerous spot on his back. It was gone.
If you do not mind, I will inform our congregation about your condition and begin praying for you as well. By our faith we are healed.
And also here, by our faith hopefully Dr. Stucki will bring healing to the financial condition of AMHI.
The biggest insult was when Megas sued the 'fake' shareholders, all because he wanted to do things his way, ie. make back room deals with Pino. Yes DTCC made big mistake first, but the biggest mistake was Megas not dealing with the situation legally when he first discovered the attempted identity theft of BCIT. I know this is hind sight now, but Megas did say time was on his side. Megas had a gift handed to him on a 'gold' platter by DTCC and now he is in PNG supposedly looking for the gold he threw away 5 years ago.
The question is, would Megas know gold when he sees it and most of all, know what to do with it? Sounds to me like it might be fools gold.
Remember to reference that this is in your opinion. You do not have any facts to base this on, so it is just that, an opinion.
I have not yet received any announcement yet from Etrade to the status regarding BCIT. I have had many discussions with their legal department, and they pretty much know where I stand in regard to this stock referring to their accountability. Been a long time customer of theirs, as if that means anything in todays market.
Customer loyalty is not one of their concerns, it appears.
It is not personal issues when people make public statements referring to BGNN. They are claiming to know something that is not public available information about BGNN in posting a comment to me.
Maybe not, but I was at least proactive and voiced my opinion. Great that we are still a free country.
Obviously, you must have inside information that the rest here are not privy to make your comment, cause in reality you do not know unless you have some inside information. Sounds like you and Ivestor need to get together since you two seem to claim to know BGNN intimately and the CEO. From both of your statements, you two have some type of inside information that is not publicly available. Hmmmm. Not saying, but for both of you to state what you have sounds like you are real close to the fire, maybe too close.
Understand, but in reality I was just interested in BGNN not taking on the product and did not need detail on the why or background. Some people need a play by play of every little detail going on. I just wrote to company with explanation of my position.
some company that had a funky foot crusher for aluminum. it was cute but that was about it. not even worth talking about, IMO. Bad idea from the go and glad JM opted out of decision.
Move is relative. It is all in timing and it is moving just fine for me. Thought for the day - 'Be anxious for nothing'.
As my tag line says, Time and the Creator of it are my friends.
I have got time.
Another fact is that I am not a paid poster as some say they know I am. But typically when people start calling names and pointing fingers they are only exposing themselves for being what they are accusing others of being.
I like this stock because the products are real and they meet a need today. Yeah management may have some faults, and I have stated that here as well, but so do all companies as far as I am concerned. I stated last year when they wanted to acquire a company that it didn't fit the BGNN model. What posters on this board don't know is that I did contact BGNN and tell them that, as I have on other issues. BGNN recently withdrew from that acquisition. Not saying because of my contacting them, but would like to think it helped influence management decision.
I have shared with people the trend of BGNN. But it seems some of the posters on this board do not care about trends. They like to do the drive by comment without making any facts to support comment. Most of the time this type of comment is considered 'Off Topic'.
If one understands the trends of any stock, they can begin to learn the lows and highs and make money from that. Typically, from what I have experienced from most of the posters on ihub that bash, they did not pay attention to the trend and bought in on the hype and at the high end. Then when it bottoms before they get out they get angry because they did not do due diligence 'before' they bought and begin posting a lot of nonsense.
I have consistently stated that BGNN requires patience, and if one does not have the time, then BGNN is not for them. Periodically, BGNN has volume then it goes quiet for awhile. Usually March and November are a good times for BGNN, then after that it may be quiet for awhile. But as its products become market aware, it will blossom in more consistent trading volume as it grows into adolescent and maturity stages of product lifecycle.
Best of Success in BGNN.
The pattern with price here is indicative of other startup companies that I have ventured in. Some mojo periodically, and then nothing. Then all of a sudden, bam. IMO, that is BGNN all over.
It takes time to build a business. And sometimes one may experience failure. Obviously, you must not have failed in order to expect such perfection from others. Must be nice to not have failed, but I would not know. I was told by my computer science teacher in high school I would never make it in data processing after failing the first two quarters. If you were my teacher then, I would probably expect the same response as my teacher back then. Today after working for two major companies that were and are successful in the software industry, I now find myself in an advisory capacity on one of the largest software implementations in the world. I could have accepted that failure in my life, but I didn't.
What I look for in a person is the desire to not quit. That is what I see in JM, the glass is half-full, where you see the glass as half-empty. You may have observed from some research failures in business, but I see a desire to not quit.
As to answering emails, I understand the man's busy schedule and do not need a day-by-day, blow by blow up to date to the minute of what is going on. If he had to do that with every investor individually, he would never have time to do what I expect him to do, to create business opportunities for selling the products. It is happening, maybe not at the pace you like, but it is happening. The products are real. enough said in my book. I have time, I am not in this to get rich quick like some, ie. the day traders.
So at the end of the day, what are you planning to sell your stock for to prove your point?
One thing we can agree on, stock prices will go up, and stock prices will go down. No one, not even you, control all the intangibles of any of the forces that weigh into financial markets or people that govern the financial markets including the DTCC, SEC, stockbrokers, hedge funds, ie. all of the uncertainties.
Based upon what you state here can apply to the all the financial markets and even the world in general, because at the end of the day, everything is governed by men. And all men are corrupt. So do not trust anyone.
So go beat your drum over the entire market, as it is all corrupt. Not just one man, as you continue to beat your drum here about JM. If JM has done something bad to you, you need to take care of that in the court of law, man's way. You obviously have a vendetta with JM and choose to vent on this board.
Remember, daily profit takers come in about this time to drive price down and then turn around comes for prices to go up by end of day. Hold steady. Or take a chance like day traders do. that is the difference between a trader and an investor.
Looks like .0018 will be low for lunch and then north from there to end of day.
