FRTW scalp here..SHOULD be easy money
hey tt...trying to get by - pennies been rough for me - too much distraction at work to play them safely....chit happens.
And you??
FRTW - stockpic buy opp off the dump here
no prob stock...even I am surprised with the big drop so 'relatively' early in the campaign. I expect it will get back on track and should even get past $3.
Given the significant drop this early though, it definitely creates much more itchy trigger fingers in the daytraders, so the gains may not be as strong as expected before they pull the rug out from under everyone. Keep that in mind if you try to trade it.
now would be awful timing to short IMH - this is not done yet and its sure to hit $3, likely even $4...even IF you could short this, I wouldn't even consider until mid $3's...even higher if you are on margin....
You really think this is held up by people getting emails and glossy's?? No way....
Shares are being bought up by these guys on the ask and they are holding tight...they will be dumping in harmony.
He wasn't compensated in shares with all the others either...
I don't know exactly how the orchestra works, but the end result is damn obvious every time so why fight it - play their game - make your dough, but get out before you get in trouble or start actually caring about hearing aids!
its nothing to do with what company they are pumping, its to do with what happens when $1.5million worth of shares come crashing onto the market all at once...cttd, rcau, axtg, cbak (a real company)..all his crash hard and fast once he dumps.
Not that there is anything wrong with that...make your double, maybe triple, but get the hell out before you are stuck.
Why have conversation about the actual company operations here? Who really cares? While, it is likely legit, all this is about is the pump campaign led by wild bill. You may double or triple from here, who knows. Take you money and don't get greedy because once the pumpers hit the sell button, this will likely be down 70% within a few days.
Case in point:
Look how quickly that bad boy fell from $2.38 down to $0.38! That was one of wild bills last pumps..
So, bottom line, make money, but get the hell out before the ringleaders do. I know most people get that, but certainly some wouldn't be aware of the pain that awaits if you get too greedy.
manipulation to start major pump campaign by wild bill.....no other good reason - intention walk down.
HRAL its wild bills newest play and he's been handed a whooping 1.5million for it! Could double or triple, but with no history and promoter envy over the cash, you could see whackage issues too and it falls hard.
CACN...compelling lebed pump...newly trading web company that he wasn't compensated for...trading movement slow and steady so far with some big blocks being bought.
Curious if these screw ups happen often when the pennies do a FS...would be an interesting short play IF the FS goes through, but the share price doesn't reflect it properly.
Anyone have past splits like this to look at, or was this just an anomaly...it should have split to 0.06 right away, not $1.5
CGGP up 119% - now .003 .0035
CGGP up 88%, 3's getting nibbled on
CGGP getting some action - been quiet for quite a while since the merger rumors showed up a few months ago
AMTO - reversal??? Come down a long way.
You refering to buying up a bunch of shares to sell into the 1-100 share buying spree on daily day and hold whatever necessary to ride the RS following? I've thought about that more than once no question.
I agree...lol
Won't give up without a fight thou!
yes, but that attitude about it won't help matters - I hit 10-15 people every play and most agree to keep quiet and DO - pretty soon people will learn and shut up - especially if ALL of us told them to zip it at the same time when they post on the top boards...
NTCI & HBDY...look at those - they did big splits yet are trading BELOW the pre-split price - this is becoming a joke & waste of time now. Need to get these suckers back to the profit making machines they were ala HQS, NWMO
AND never post about it on any other board - these are going to chit because of people alerting the world - doesn't help anyone. While yes, there is tons of others that will anyway, doesn't mean you should....every time a new one comes I try to educate those that post on the mainstream board...most agree and clam up...few tell me to F off..but seriously, why hurt your own gains???
If we all educated every time someone posted, EVENTUALLY the yapping will be reduced to the point that we can make $300+ instead of $50!
Keep it on this board, and this board alone!?!? Seems reasonable to me!
safest bet is to stay away from the pink ones, and only do the otc with def14c filings...
GBNS is a no-go - don't be buying if you haven't yet - needed to be in yesterday (seems many bought today)...
In the news release, "Global Business Services, Inc. Announces Corporate Restructuring," issued Wednesday, October 10, 2007 by Global Business Services, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GBNS), we are advised by the company that the second sentence of the second paragraph should read "To that end, we will incorporate our 'no shareholder left behind' policy as every shareholder prior to market close on October 10, 2007, regardless of post split share count, will have or receive a minimum of 100 shares in the restructured company" rather than "To that end, we will incorporate our 'no shareholder left behind' policy as everyone, regardless of post split share count, will have or receive a minimum of 100 shares in the restructured company" as originally issued. Complete corrected text follows.

HSWI - potential as next big china mover - take you pick on angles that could be played out - next BIDU, or chinese wikipedia. Just completed merger with INTN (based in Hong Kong) - new company HSW International is based around the howstuffworks website ran by Jeff Arnold (cofounder of WebMD). The 75million in capital raised (including 10 million by the billionaire Carl Icahn) will be used to expand into China and South America. Really the only other china internet play similar to bidu out there and it's sure to get attention in the upcoming weeks. Today was very volatile as the float basically was comprised of prior INTN shares that weren't held in name (thats an assumption of mine). It was likely under 1 million. Apparently tomorrow, the prior INTN holders should have new shares in hand and it should become a little more liquid without the manipulation (was 6m float prior to merger) - I don't foresee a selloff since most have shares close to current price and to hold through the merger meant they were looking for much bigger pop.. Given the activity with RCH and CHNR (as well as another dozen china plays lately), I think its a matter of time here with this one.
Good review of the merger can be reviewed here:

Keep in mind also that the China Wealth Fund that was formed last weekend may very well be active starting next week since its a week long holiday in China

I'd expect still further momentum with anything related to china.
This may be a real special one just starting out at these levels. INTN ran to $15 on the initial news of the merger, so that at least is a reasonable goal.
lentinman...thanks for the explanation....as i said, I don't weigh too much on present/past...I weigh more on forward...nothing has changed there. I see your lazy argument with companies, but why wouldn't all these websites have simple code to tract the moving OS like it can/does with price (i appreciate yahoo is often outdated with numbers, but bloomberg for example is usually on the ball)? Seems easy enough to just tack the calculation based on current OS as shown in key stats...but they don't - TTM is always based on actual EPS for each of the prior 4 q's, regardless of present....
In the grand scheme of things (with big board stocks), 1. did they meet or beat earnings, 2. how is forward guidance? That's all I care about....appreciate your insight into this though.
len...fill me in here, cause yes, you have me scratching my head, i'll admit.
I have never reviewed a stocks worth at this so called 'present' PE - I will gauge stock value on either the trailing PE that yahoo shows - TTM...PE ratio based on prior 4 quarters or the forward PE, based on 'next' 4 quarters - these are the quarters that will be based on the higher O/S. My argument was that the growth to me is clear, and the company may very well show 8-10m net income. On 18m O/S minimum, that would be 0.45-0.55eps, or forward PE 6-8....where is that assessment whacked out? The only negative you can take out of this is that earnings growth will show as 0 next year because of the dilution offsetting actual growth.
Don't quite understand what makes that way of thinking hybrid - its the most common assessments I've ever heard of. If your argument is true that present and future is all that's relevant, why would yahoo waste our time showing a 'trailing'??
yeah...well as I just stated, if you aren't basing things on trailing, then you have to factor in the growth as well - you can't just say last Q's net earnings based on this Q's o/s and there is your value - you must also look at their huge growth rate and work that over a year - thats why I said I anticipate similar forward PE to what trailing PE is now. They may very well pull 10m+ in net income next year.
No, I still disagree as your view of the numbers doesn't factor any of the growth looking forward. Back to the trailing though - numbers are numbers - trailing PE is what the company has done in the PAST on paper - its right there in black & white in the filings - for 2007, they did 0.62EPS (0.51 through actual operations). That is just one gauge of value. The other obviously is forward PE (no earnings have happened yet at 18m O/S). The way I see that, yes, shares now are at 18 million, but also look at the growth. NET $$$ grew 170% from 2005 to 2006 and then 70% from 2006-2007. Even taking it a notch lower - if you drop that to 50% to 2008 on TRUE earnings of 5.8m, thats 8.7m net next year, or 0.46 on 18m shares - thats still ONLY 7.6PE. Hell, add another 12m O/S over a year - 30m o/s, and thats STILL forward PE of only 12.
So i've taken what I'd say is the worst case scenario, and we still have FROM OPERATIONS, a trailing PE of 6.7m and a forward PE of 12. This is a $7-10 stock easy, and thats the bottom line, regardless how we look at past numbers and todays.
1.3m is still based on original OS - so they still did 0.51 clear - thats 6.9 PE. Plain and simple, trailing PE IS based on shares at the time, not shares 3 months later - you just don't look at it that way.
The way I see it, based on growth rate, it is likely they will offset the dilution and will see similar EPS next year even on the higher shares - i see trailing PE 7, forward PE 7....this is half fair value if not 1/3.
RCH...yes, just started trading about 45 minutes ago...600k float, nice earnings...monster potential
INTN lions bought early AM...closing run was fresh meat
TATTF - getting some interest on the low float momo action. Just bounced and well undervalued. On pace for $1.40 eps, or under 9 PE, well below industry average of 25...even with foreign risk. They were scrambling to get it above $20 last Q, they will again at some point. Minimal downside.
FTXN, nice bounce off the low with some decent blocks coming through
FTXN - stockster first pick...threw a few at it to see what he does...gap was reasonable

anyone here use questrade, and if so, are you getting pink sheet bid/ask through webtrader as well as questraderpro? I seem to get it only once in a while through webtrader, and I ask support why - 1 guy says there are no quotes for pinksheets (which yes, I 'expected', but its right there in black in white day after day through questraderpro and was for a week or two through webtrader), another girl today says I 'should' have them, but she has no clue why I don't, but doesn't know if we are even meant to have that feature but we can ask them anytime! So support is clueless, but I'm curious where other users stand on this!
TIA
PSPJ...tough call on that - they have barely diluted at all in the last 2 years - not a typical trend. Definitely some games going on though, and not sure what it has to do with the 15mil shares that hasn't been returned...
for 150 trades or more/q (which I've only done once before)...still same rate otherwise for the 30-150 trade/q that most would fall under. I was with TDW for several years, still have my account, but in no way can it compare to the treats you get with questrade. ONLY 1 positive, and that is faster executions as they are a direct MM for pennies. The rest favors questrade IMH. Making 57% in about 5 minutes of regular trading hours on an AHM short from $1.50 to 0.64 was a rush..access to shorting stocks is huge IMH Same with the power to short the likes of known pump campaigns and stuff...
questrade...no restrictions whatsoever + L1 for pinks, shorting (even pennies), options, and after hours trading...I've had it for a month now - any questions on pitfalls and stuff, just PM me, and if you want to sign up, let me refer you so you can get free trades (as well as me of course!) Execution is ok through mngd, not as fast as TDW was....
yes....I'll almost guarantee it
just a matter of when...maybe it hits $4 before then...maybe it's already done and today was the start of the dump, but don't underestimate the power of millions of company shares being diluted into the market.
Here is one of, if not the ringleader of the promo here:

$200-400,000 promo is a pretty major play...only exceeded to my knowledge by wild bill and his $1000000 promo he was paid for mbkr (that stockpic also was paid for)
