PRIME....I specifically stated UP TO when discussing the time period. If you notice, my response was to someone who mentioned that they hoped that the listing and move to AIM would be completed by Oct. 1.
What does the Russian government have to do with audited financials?
I have no idea how or if ROSNEFT was listed quickly or not. I was not following them from the start of the process to the completion. I would be interested if you could direct me too any information at all as to when they began planning to go public...they were privately held and had no obligations or reason to publish any.
Again....nothing I posted was opinion...just the facts I was able to find out about AIM as it relates to NDOL...it is called DD even if people don't like it. Instead of attempting to criticize, let's see if we can find where my facts are not accurate, and how they effect the company one way or another That is what DD is all about on a message board....discourse. It should not be an adverserial exercise....as I am sure BRENT would say as well.
If you disagree BRENT, I apologize in advance for using your name. It is just that you appear to be the voice of reason at times, and I imagine you do not have any qualms about discussing DD....whether positive or negative if they are the facts which fall into categories of black and white....no shades of gray. Either they can switch to AIM in a matter of weeks or a couple of months or not.
Without some direction from the company, shareholders flounder. But, in my OPINION, the lack of info being provided by the company is to be questioned....the reasons for them not releasing info...such as they are working too hard, or wanting to get it out at one time, or any other of the reasons, really does not cut it at this point. If they have something to say, they should say it! I have yet to encounter a company, ESPECIALLY a pink, which wants to keep positive developments a secret......but yet will take the time to spend hours talking to select shareholders.
For example, today"s PR. There is absolutely no reason to fail to include who the "reputable" investment banker is....who they selected as their NOMAD to direct them through the AIM listing process....or where in that process they are. If the exchange itself has to have all this info, as it MUST, it is not a secret! As I read the AIM info, if a NOMAD has not yet been selected, the process for listing has not begun.
Faiser....it says 12-24 weeks for the LISTING process....which assumes all the requirements before that have already been met.
And don't bother saying that we don't know whether or not they have been met....they could have started the process a long time ago....as one of the requirements are submitting AUDITED FINANCIALS.....which many of you claimed they are trying to avoid as being "too cumbersome."
SPEC.....care to explain your post....would love to be able to respond
MR B....you will probably be bashed for saying 'good points'
The shares must be TRADED on the exchange for a minimum of 18 months....
All I asked was that you go to the official London Stock Exchange site, and read what I read....and then form your own opinions. I am not avoiding posting a link....I do not no how...but it sure as heck is easy to google London Stock Exchange and get there. Also, I did not say it would take 3 years....I said the exchange itself says it could take up to three years.
Also, since the very first step is selecting a NOMAD, why not ask anyone at NWOG who that might be. It is not a 'secret process'
Why is everyone reluctant to do so?
JSTICK....before you went into attack mode, did you even bother to read what I had written? Or is it just automatic when you all see my name?
Awwww geeeez....I really hate raining on everyone's parade, but I suppose someone has to do it. Be fair to me in reading, as this is in no way my opinion of anything....just facts for all to investigate.
The process to list on AIM is very specific and can be quite time consuming. If , as the PR states, they are just beginning the listing process, there is absolutely no way that, as someone hoped, it could be accomplished by Oct.1.
In fact, the exchange itself, on its own site, lists the full admission process as taking up to three years.
There is a fast track that they offer provided the company has already been trading on any number of exchanges. Unfortunately, the only one here in the USA would be the NYSE. Frankfurt also does not apply.
I think you should expect that Parkin or anyone else would be forthright enough to inform you all where in the process they are....in as much as once they de-list, it can be up to three years til you see anything official from the company.
Please do not attack me for bringing these facts to the table...it is something that all of you SHOULD want to find out and confirm or not....all part of the DD process to know where you stand at any given time.
At todays prices, NSMG and OTD
Guess the company just found out about the symbol change....issued a press release at 11:30. Nasdaq is under no obligation to inform the company....sort of tells you how low on the totem pole these Pinkies are...:)
Have an order in at .43....have it half filled. I started the day with orders at .40
Correct....NETLIST will have the symbol NLST on the Nasdaq Global Market for their IPO
Oh come on....get your head out of the sand !!!!
You expect us to believe that Sibir Energy, a publicly held company, sells an asset for 350 million dollars, and makes no mention of it to their shareholders or the investing public?
You expect us to believe that NDOL/NWOG, a publicly held company, borrows 350 million dollars....and discloses absolutely no facts about it....does not disclose the lender or lenders, does not disclose the terms of the loan, and does not disclose the repayment schedule?
You expect us to believe that a money manager or consortium of money managers and banks loans out 350 million dollars, and not one word of it appears anywhere. Remember, the announcement of prospective financing did not mention an 'anonymous benefactor', but rather: "The company is expected to conclude the transaction over the next several months, and may be simultaneously executed with a listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) exchange in London, where the debt financing is being arranged"
There may in fact be some things a Pinkie does not have to report to the government, but that does preclude them from carrying out their fiduciary responsibilities !!!
Nothing idiotic about it at all...deal is NOT done, and no one has loaned NDOL 350 million dollars.....which is what I was responding to !!!!
Take the time to read post #16132 from LEEBRET...he states:
"So they where able to borrow twice what the market says they are worth."
Anyone care to submit that statement to your "authorities" for translation?
To all of you who seem to doubt everything I submit, whether factual or just an opinion, let's try to find the errors in the following submission. It happens to be the timetable regarding admission to the London Stock Exchange AIM.....

Well LEEBRET, I am afraid I will have to dampen your enthusiasm a bit regarding the "Magma" deal. If you look at the PR released the day after the one you pasted, you will see that there was a correction made. The correction was that they didn't actually win the tender, but gained the right to take part in making offers for the acquisition, in addition to the many other companies participating. No offer has been accepted at this point, which means the actual price has not been determined, no one has acquired Magma, and absolutely no money has been lent !!
Additionally, since North-West Oil Group entered into the negotiations in December of 2005, a full 5 months before merging with NORD, even if they eventually do get to do the deal, it does not fall under the 'umbrella' of the merged company.....as the entity NWOG did not even exist.
As I said last week, until all the details of the 'merger' are clearly spelled out for all to see, investors, and potential investors have absolutely no clue as to what they are investing in.
[Sorry to be assuming the role of 'Devil's Advocate' once again]
Come now.....don't you believe that the companies you mentioned are far more transparent than NDOL? Just the fact that they are regulated makes them more transparent. As large and complex as those companies are, I would submit to you that I would have a better chance of getting information about them than Nord Oil/NWOG.
As far as what changes the price of a stock, it is just a matter of supply and demand. If more people want it than not, the price is going to rise, and vice versa. That is the way markets work, no matter what the product. Anything is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it, and its 'value' is only one of many criteria that determine 'worth'.
Hello all, I know everyone has missed me, but I had to comment
on many of the posts I have read recently. Try not to look at it in a negative light, but as someone who had never heard of Nord Oil before. Here goes:
I am sure that a great majority of everyone on this board is very positive of Nord Oil....the reason being that all are sure that the stock is undervalued. That may be true, but the reason for it lies 100% with management....not the MM's, bashers, pumpers, shorts, etc, etc.
I will back up my statement by pointing everyone's attention to some recent posts. It seems to me that everyone here looking at the same stock, and the same PR's, and having done their own DD (as well as sharing others')cannot seem to agree on what this company consists of....and as a result cannot accurately come up with a true and accurate value for today, and just as importantly, for tomorrow. Just magnify that by thousand's and thousand's of investors who are having the same problem before they can decide to buy the stock.
It would seem to me that one of the first PR's from the new investor relations company should clearly explain the totality of the merger, and the present and future structure of the merged company. If the company would eliminate all the guesswork, perhaps prospective investors, as well as the present investors, might be able to accurately value the company....and as a result, the price per share.
Well CAISON, your post asked me a question....
....so I took the time to answer it.
Now maybe you can enlighten me and tell me which part of my reply was mindless, and which part of it was junk?
Its OK, 75.....
.....I don't consider myself a basher of the stock, but I definitely do consider myself a pretty big skeptic...LOL.
I do enjoy playing Devil's Advocate, though.... and I know it doesn't gain me any popularity points. I agree it's a dirty job, but hey, somebody's got to do it, right?....LOL. [I have been doing dirty jobs ever since I left high school....MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE A SHOW ON CABLE...HAHA].
Plus, just think. I was the one who provided the phone # for Stratton Stevens. I don't know if I was the only one, but maybe in some way I did get to contribute to the euphoria that I am sensing on the board.
By the way, 7539....
....I hope I am not disappointing you by still being here. I am interested in seeing how the info from Parkin plays out...:). I am a little skeptical about some of Parkins statements if they are accurately interpreted.
I also thought I would hang around and wait for someone to acknowledge that I was correct in stating a while back that the merger had not been consummated.....seems that Malyshev, through Parkin, said the same thing yesterday.
By the way, 7539....I seem to remember you saying you were a veteran smoke eater....where?
Well, let's see CAISON....(is it OK for me to use your first name?).....
....yesterday I played golf and did some fishing in the evening. Did you know that the oldest municipal golf course in the USA happens to be in the Bronx, NY....and that from what I understand, the only 2 places in the world that officially have 'the' in their names are The Bronx, and The Vatican. [Probably not true, but sounds good...haha]
Right now I am doing some math, as I have about a thousand shares of bothh Exxon and BP....trying to figure out if just about all the bad news is already factored in to the BP share price, and if the Exxon share price rising will make up for the drop in BP...LOL.
Later on today I am going to look at a '68 GTO Convertible....I have a soft spot in my heart for the old muscle cars of the sixties.
Last , but not least, I have to help get out the vote for my old buddy Joe Lieberman in the Connecticut Democratic primary. Am not a Democrat, but we go back awhile, and us Jews have to stick together...:)
Next BIG move might very well be up...but I'd rather not let money sit idle while it goes thru small moves down. The trend is always your friend.
I notice the advisory panel seems weighted towards medical personnel. Is it a specialty of theirs re: a client base?
As we speak, no. Four or five more pennies down, and I may well jump in again short term.
Why do you say that NYC GUY....
.....do you know anything about the company? Had any dealings with them in the past? Have any knowledge of people or companies who have had a track record with them?
Well, unless Midland Baring is providing Uncle Sam or the city of NY with money, I know where my paycheck has been coming from for the last 33 years...LOL
And it is my understanding that Stratton Stevens and Gerald Parkin were among the first two board members of Nord Oil. And you are correct in stating that I do not know everything about the who what and where of the beginnings of NDOL and its relationship with Midland Baring. But I also have NOT seen anything about Midland Baring providing financing or distancing itself from NDOL.
If anyone can steer me into that direction, I have absolutely no problem reading it, digesting it, or even admitting if anything I have ever said or posted is wrong. I've admitted it more than once, I'm sure, and it does not threaten me at all.
Actually, I happen to be a really nice guy and am not all that old...LOL.....is 57 old?
It's funny....SOMETIMES I knew what you were going to write before you wrote it. Since you checked ALL the press releases did you also check ALL the SEC filings with their ATTACHED PRESS RELEASES.
Start with the form 8-k filed with the SEC on 6/28/05. Is that a reliable source?
I am not quite sure what Midland Baring has to do with me....or has to do with anything, actually. Care to elaborate?
I happened to have this press relief in my memory:
Source: Bio-Tracking Security, Inc.
Bio-Tracking Hires Top Consultant to Lead Negotiations with Nord Oil
MONTREAL, April 14, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Bio-Tracking Security Inc. (Pink Sheets:BTSI) announced today that the company has hired the services of Great West Oil and Gas and, more precisely, its President Dr. Nicolas Mattossian to lead negotiations with Nord Oil Corporation.
Dr. Matossian is the Chairman and President of Great West Oil and Gas Inc. His educational background includes a B.A. from McGill University, Montreal, a M.B.A. from Harvard University, Boston and a Ph.D. from McGill University, Montreal. Dr. Matossian brings over 25 years of experience and expertise in the oil and gas sector.
The company intends to proceed with its discussions and negotiations while performing its due diligence on a selected number of substantial properties currently held by Nord Oil in some of the major Russian oilfields. Dr. Matossian expects to perform all necessary due diligence in the very near future with the assistance and support of Niven-Fischer Energy Management, one of Canada's most reputable team of geologist and reservoir engineers, which has accumulated over 13 years of experience specifically in Russia.
"We are very fortunate to be able to work with Dr. Matossian at this great junction in our company's history" said Jean-Francois Amyot, President of Bio-Tracking Security Inc. "The experience Dr. Matossian brings to the table is truly invaluable; he has recruited one of the best team in the world and has already furthered our discussion with Nord Oil by two folds," further added Mr. Amyot.

Well SOMETIMES I guess it all depends what you consider to be a reliable source. Most of the press releases have expired, but I can still direct you to many more.
He was an impostor hired by Nord Oil to say glowing things about the company...you know it and I know it. Laughing it off does not make it disappear.
I guess your response clearly indicates how important you believe YOUR integrity is.
Well BENZ, let us just take a moment to explore your INTEGRITY. Back when you were doing your DD, did you not realize that Nicolas Matossian being portrayed as the President of Great Western Oil with 25 years of 'expertise' in the oil and gas industry WAS DISHONEST? Or did you realize it and choose to ignore it?
And later, when the same facts were brought to light if you hadn't known it....DID YOU HAVE THE INTEGRITY TO SELL THE STOCK? DID YOU EVEN QUESTION IT? DID YOU EVEN WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO TRY TO DISPROVE IT TO KEEP YOUR SO-CALLED INTEGRITY INTACT?
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPEAKING OUT OF BOTH SIDES OF YOUR MOUTH, THE LOGICAL THING FOR YOU TO DO WOULD BE TO SELL YOUR NDOL HOLDINGS BEFORE YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO MAKE A PROFIT FROM THEM !!!!!
IT WILL EVEN BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHETHER YOU HAVE THE INTEGRITY TO ALLOW THIS POST TO APPEAR ON THE BOARD...:).
YOU CAN ALWAYS EXPLAIN THAT THERE ARE DIFFERING DEGREES OF INTEGRITY I SUPPOSE....
Actually TIGER, I don't think I called the company a scam at all. I did infer that there were questions in my mind about its total honesty and credibility. Whether or not you or anyone else can understand that subtle difference is not something I feel a need to explain to you.
If, in fact, this or any pink company is a 'scam' the price still goes up and down!!! I am quite sure that not a single person on this, or any board, would refuse to take profits when the opportunity arose, even if they knew beforehand that the company was less than ethical.
As far as my 'admitting' that I post negatives just so that I can make a profit, I did no such thing. I never falsified anything at all, and never will. Everything I have ever posted is as legitimate as anything anyone else has ever posted. And when something was an opinion, I clearly stated it as such.
As far as getting 'newbies' to sell so that I can buy, that is absurd. Can you name anyone on this board who sold 50,000 shares of NDOL a week or two ago based on ANYTHING I may have posted ? Don't flatter yourself into thinking that you are strong enough to 'hold tough' when all around you aren't.
Someone also noted that I provide information and resources that I myself don't avail myself of. That is absurd as well. I have provided alternate sources of information as a result of the many frustrating posts I have read concerning the timing of name and symbol changes or lack of communication with officers of the company. Did you know that it is the transfer agent who is responsible for name changes and new CUSIP numbers? Did you know the address and phone number of Stratton Stevens, a VP of the company.....at a time when no one could seem to make contact with the company?
Find one post of mine where I said "you all better sell this stock because I think it will be shut down" or "this is not somewhere anyone should put money". I can find COUNTLESS posts where members have said "my gut tells me this is going to explode" or "this is even bigger than we thought." I dare say that the ratio of unsubstantiated posive posts is easily 15 to 1 over unsubstantiated negative posts. Why would you suggest the one should be barred from the board, but the 15 should be allowed to say whatever they like....just because you don't like what that one may say?
It was my impression that the purpose of this board, or any board, was to enlighten and inform. Seems to me that purpose would be negated if everyone belonged to one big mutual admiration society where they hung out telling each other how smart they all were because they bought this or that stock.
I happen to enjoy the ambiance.............
LANDER, I am happy to see you refer to this as a game...because with pinks that is entirely what it is. All one has to do is realize that a stock, and the company it represents are 2 entiely different entities. It doesn't matter to me whether a company is legit or not....I know that it will eventually move at some point in time. The point is not to be the one holding it when it stops moving...LOL. [And sooner or later it will if it is a pink].
If I wanted to 'invest' for the long haul, I would just keep adding to my EXXON, BP, Union Pacific, John Deere, etc. In my opinion, anyone who buys pink sheet stocks and then says they are in for the long haul is actually committing financial suicide....the odds are completely against you.
With the cost of money constantly rising, it is senseless to have it sitting idle. If I can just put down 9 or 10 grand for a week or two, and pick up $4500 profit 20 times a year, it is close to a hundred grand a year....50,000 shares of a stock like Nord would have to go up $2/share to give me that kind of income/return. If I had bought Nord at its lowest price in the past year, and sold at its highest, I still would not have made $2/share. Heck, the longs on the board are waking up each morning HOPING AND PRAYING for some sort of word from the company that might just raise it 20, 30, or even 50 cents. A $2.17 cent buyout offer could only raise it maybe a dollar before it sunk...LOL.

Actually, TIGER, in the last 2 weeks I bought and sold NDOL for a quick $4500 profit....50,000shares @a 9 cent profit. Not bad for some pocket change.
As far as what I posted, it is not an attempt at bashing at all. I repeatedly said that I was not commenting one way or another.
And I NEVER post anything false....you want to see what I posted, just do a GOOGLE search on the "Ultimate Shopping Network", and I believe about the fifth result down will lead you to what I pasted
I think just the act itself, of sending out phony E-mails from a phony address, is the fraud. As I said, I am not commenting one way or another. Just makes one wonder why someone, or maybe many someones, won't let the company sell itself. Very very similar to the company having to "invent" a supposed expert to say good things about it, as we know actually happened!
I have been able to find out that the address which was used belongs to a California law firm specializing in corporate bankruptcy....go figure
For what it's worth.....
I was doing some research on a different company, but ran across this. I am not commenting on it one way or another, just printing it as it appears!

We apologize, but criminals at the foreign domain 222.98.172.206 have been sending mass e-mails about United States securities (stock for sale). These Spammers pretend to be sending from e-mail addresses at "bovitz.net" and "bovitzweb.com." But, no one from "bovitz.net" and "bovitzweb.com" has ever sent a recommendation regarding securities (and never will). These e-mails violate California law (Business & Professions Code section 17529.5): each e-mail advertisement contains a third-party's domain name (bovitz.net or bovitzweb.com) without the permission of the third party (the webmaster and users of bovitz.net and bovitzweb.com); each e-mail advertisement contain falsified, misrepresented, or forged header information; each e-mail advertisement uses a subject line that a person knows would be likely to mislead a recipient, acting reasonably under the circumstances, about a material fact regarding the contents or subject matter of the message. These solicitations also violate other United States laws, as well (such as the CAN-SPAM Act).
You are strongly advised NOT to purchase any security recommended over the Internet. The stock solicitations about the above companies are criminal and fraudulent attempts to pump up the stock price and dupe you into purchasing stock before the stock price collapses.
Based on the fraudulent actions of the Spammers at domain 222.98.172.206, information you may have received by e-mail about the companies listed above is likely to be incomplete and probably false.
I find it quite humorous how everyone will try to examine this one supposed phone call, and actually rationalize good news out of it. I wonder if this poor woman can understand that everything she said has been viewed under a microscope. Heck, considering it was most likely after hours, there is a good possibility she was a cleaning woman...LOL.
If some of you are really interested, why not speak to someone on this continent who speaks English, and undoubtedly knows more than the phone answerer in Russia. I am referring to a VP of the company....Stratton D Stevens.
It would seem that a man of his stature, who commands so much respect in his country,
would not shrug off the concerns of those who have invested in his company. After all, we all know the details of his participating in a Canadian government sponsored trade mission to Russia, with the objective of opening up Russian companies to Canadian investment. I would think he would want to spread the word that two Russian natural resource companies, destined to be very large players on the international scene, have Canadian management. [Heck, I would not be in the least surprised if his rich influential friends all have huge stakes in both Aurus and Nord!]
In any event, he can be reached at (514) 288-6888. Haven't yet been able to find an E-Mail address at the national lottery company of which he is an officer, but his snail mail address is:
Stratton Denis Stevens
1319 Redpath Cr.
Montreal, QC H3G 1A1
Another logical explanation might be that they haven't taken any steps toward the name change, symbol change, or exchange change.
The transfer agent is responsible for the symbol change and new CUSIP number....can always check with him to see if that is in the works.
As far as going to the London AIM exchange, the very first step must be the selection of a 'NOMAD'....short for a nominating advisor. All they would have to do is name him, and then all would know that the process has begun. I have read the criteria for joining the AIM and do not believe they would qualify....but that is only my opinion.
The info is available if anyone truly wants to know the answers :).
