I'm loosing my shirt holding on to the Gold Miners!
I've got to say that Gold miners, that's the 3X NUGT equity,
are at the bottom of the list of investments by most.
1)The masses of investors aren't ready to invest in speculative shares.
2)Money is simply unavailable for speculation.
3)The gold miners themselves have bought other miners and land that hasn't produced.
4)There is no dividend of respect for investors.
5)Costs for production have risen.
6)The US Dollar has risen simply because all the comparative currencies are worse.
7)There is no real inflation index as all money is being devalued (US Dollar devaluation is very small even with $80 Billion minted by the Fed each month).
There's just too many negatives.
I thought there was a bottom but I'm wrong.
Good luck to you and me!
Next time you drive trough the metro DC area cruse down to the Virginia side and talk to the masses of republi-cons.
Those with the minni mansions,
The thousands of office dwellers who occupy government jobs.
They've been sucking on the Government teet long before GW Bush.
You are missing my point.
A free market can't dictate an accurate measure of work.
Intelligence, creativity, talent is subject to the market place:
Einstein could not compete with Warren Buffet.
Carl Icahn couldn't hope to be a Theoretical Physicist.
A free market can only establish a price according to supply and demand,
at best.
Sure the market has been manipulated politically.
It's certainly not by those on Government assistance!
Gov assistance is offered to establish a safety net and that net has grown in proportion to the manipulation.
Modern Nations have given support to the masses.
It's turned to a means of control by some Nations.
Saudi Arabia gives a crumb of it's oil money to it's people:

In America, in the past 40 years, we've done much the same with our social safety net.
You are prejudicing your opinion based on the disparage of wealth:
When a product or service is provided it should produce wealth that can be distributed to the company and employees.
Why do you think a guy can throw a baseball and make $10 Million a year?
Because the market is willing to pay his employers $30 Million a year.
More, of course, the employer owns a franchise that accumulates value; clothing, merchandise, TV, advertizing...etc.
Forgive me, FIOS is locking up on me!
Tha bastids!
The failing system that I question is the free market.
Poverty dictates the potential of most individuals.
The School system is a failure because of that dichotomy.
Indeed, the economy is a failure for just the same.
What a wonderful dichotomy you pose!
You suggest there are more teachers than needed for pre school and developmental schooling than funding s available.
What are your/our priorities?
Security?
Send unsecured funds into military ventures abroad to secure America?
Investment?
Create a learning platform for the future citizens of America?
Choose!
You don't see the dichotomy in your post?
This is a time that we could use teachers to nuse the minds of our future.
Ironic, isn't it?
When we need them, they are there.
We don't have the money........
we have to fund the military,
tax breaks for oil,
Food stamps for the needy.
What's you priority?
Youth or Drones?
Do you believe that politics (politicians) hold power over money?
Question reality!
Money is power and human nature has been void of restrictions in the recent past.
Would you buy a pizza from this guy?
Of course, it was an illusion.
Thanks for your post.
I have to question the tax division between a Corporation and a family or a person.
Of course tax law recognizes cash, assets.
Families don't produce goods or services for exchange.
But is this a requirement by law?
Is there any law that requires an individual to produce a service or product for incorporation?
One must describe intentions for incorporation.
(LLC law is different, but I'm obviously not a corporate lawyer)
http://www.quickcorps.com/index.html
It varies from State to State.
Individuals and families do add enormous value to the collective economy.
In the past 100+ years or more we've allowed the corporation laws to assume more rights.
I think it's time to merge the two.
Vietnam Vets seem to have two points of view:
One side thinks that there are forces that must be fought to secure the American dream.
The other side questions violence as a force.
Vietnam proved that a world class military couldn't subjugate a nation that was suppressed
(by France before the second World War).
Vietnam was the modern day proof of a nation that was willing to decide it's means of Government.
And today we have two Vets who are diametrically opposed!
McCain and Hagel.
Geeze, that's what we did in 1776!
I'll throw my lot into Hagel.
Thank you. And forgive me for not reading your response.
The tax code was written (or re-written) by the wealth for the extremely wealthy.
Question:
When any Corporation is considered an entity,
Why can't every person who earns a wage/salary have the same deductions?
Why can't wage earners deduct for the business of developing a family?
The home could have usage loss.
The car is an expense,
Telephone,
Internet,
Cell phone,
Heat, electric, water all benefit the collective America.
Can we incorporate rather than devote our lives to our future in marriage?
They get the max.
Unfortunately, they have many opportunities for deductions that the majority of Americans don't.
Capital Gains?.......
Hedge funds can collect billions and get a 15% income tax rate.
Mortgage interest?
"According to a study by The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, mortgage interest deductions for households with incomes between $40,000 and $75,000 average just $523, while households with incomes above $250,000 enjoy an average write-off of $5,459, or more than 10 times as much.
You must itemize on IRS Form 1040 Schedule A to claim the deduction. If you do, you can also deduct the interest paid on a second home. The rich do both, but most of the middle class does neither."

Inheritance tax?
This is money that is not earned but bequeathed.
The person that is taxed is dead.

Please!
Consult your Tax preparer and ask a few questions!
You post like you're completely naive.
Is it mass frustration?
It seems that everything that the financial sector did was either legal or obfuscated beyond the legal system.
We're looking for a Champion.
Every negative we hear or read about Elizabeth Warren should triger a red flag.
Question the motivation and the source.
Consolidation has been a real killer.
CITI: Gold Has Fallen To A Pivot Point, Minimum Price Target Now $2,055
Sam Ro|Feb. 16, 2013, 6:44 AM
Gold fellow below $1,600 on Friday. This is a six-month low.
According to Citi technician Tom Fitzpatrick, this is exactly where you want it to be if you're a gold bull.
Eric King of King World News has a clip from Fitzpatrick's latest note.
“We believe we have just reached the ideal pivot for gold to form a base and move higher as it did after the 16 month consolidation in 2006-2007," wrote Fitzpatrick who now has a “...a minimum (price) target of $2,055-$2,060.”

Your reference is 'Heartland Institute'.
Forgive me for blowing a hole in the scientific evidence beholding to a conservative think tank that has a bias to fact.

Here's a wake-up call:
http://climate.nasa.gov/evidence
Let's take that thought....
It's humanity that drives any business.
Perhaps you've heard the old saying:
First generation builds a company,
second generation holds it,
third generation ends it.
Apple Computers dropped like a rock after Steve Jobs past away.
The system works, imperfectly.
But that's why we should have let GM die.
Please, I was talking about Wall Street....
Okay...the 'other guy' is an idiot!
Competition in a free market should level the playing field for any market.
Absolutely fantastic! Is this real? Can penguins fly? Unbelievable!
Is this true?
No...You've found some anomaly, some illusion, some computer manipulated illusion!
Can you supply some evidence to the accuracy of this video?
True but let me add my opinion........
Humanity has it's genius and it's simpletons.
Most of us are just regular folks, some may be smarter than others but the difference is small.
In America, the average wage per year is under $50,000.
The poverty level is about $24,000 (that changes with location, some places are cheaper to live in).
There are those who are payed $1 Million per year,
are they 20 times more intelligent, more productive than average?
No, the payer wants an advantage. To make more money.
To make more money, the employee must make more for the employer.
20 times more.....
The only way to make 20 times more than the next guy is to cheat!
Ya think we are a well sedated population? Hahahahahaha!
Just one of the impediments for justice by a population rebellion.
Add to that the social safety nets that keep the masses fed.
Add the tax breaks and subsidies for corporations.....
250 posts from my absents.
Very prolific!
Very busy these days......
Have fun!
Them 'good ol' boys' like to hire family.....
What war? You buy that "War on Terrorism" stuff?
Syria has been a breeding ground for terrorists, we knew that before 9/11.
We chose to invade Iraq.
Hummm, Iraq has oil, Syria has ..... terrorists.
The war on terrorism is just like the 'war on drugs'.
Just another way to gain political power for the Presidency.
To answer your question:
No, firing even a arrow across a border and into a county is an act of war.
hap? or I'd say, perhaps.....
As in;
Perhaps we shouldn't be in a religious war.
As Americans we can't indulge.
My Jesus would turn the other cheek.
Badda Bing, Badda Boom.......
Yo, ya gotta see dis thing like the mobsters who control/support and own all that bad debt.
At foist, ya gotta demand da money, coercion works just fine!
So ya empty out da wallets of da people.
But dat ain't enough money, so.....
If a dancer owes da mob money ya don't break his legs.
But yous can never allow him to go bankrupt, so ya bleed 'em slow, like.
LOL
They're all the same, only different....LOL!
We continue to give weapons to Israel and Egypt.
When will it dawn on America that we are the enablers?
We're in a 'war' on terrorism...........
Terrorism is expanding faster than our economy.
Maybe expanding as fast as our national debt?????
Can we wait for The Rapture?...Doh!.....
Maybe we should stop doing stupid sh t.
Isaiah 2:4
New International Version (©1984)
He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.
There has to be a balance......
Just like N's story of the Cricket and Ant,
Cricket enjoyed his freedom and the ants worked for the Queen.
Humans can have both.
Billions in Foreign Aid! LOL!
Oh yea, since I'm still employed, I'm paying the old bitty's Medicare.LOL
Hope somebody will be there for me!
Oooops, 'there' instead of 'their'? Oooops.
You've been secluded from reality.
I've never spent a day on welfare but I've worked in poverty stricken sections of the intercity, suburbs, towns, etc.
Spend a few days with the Salvation Army.
Visit a Municipal Court for a few hours in a major city poverty section.
About those guns........
You only need one.
More guns don't offer more security.
I'll stop there.
I question your use of 'socialist'.
MSNBC and Fox are not much more than info-tainment.
Both use opinion to support political goals.
Fear and bad news sells better than rainbows and lollipops......
I've read all your posts on your supposed 'rights to bear arms'.
And quite frankly, I think you're a blithering idiot!
No one in there right mind should sell you a weapon!
I don't think you could pass a mental health test.
And that's why you oppose any gun identification.
Or any registration as to a fire arm.
I don't think you are competent as a human to own a gun!
Nobody gets a free ride, Soros!
Nobody gets to have weapons of mass destruction without a freekin' permit and identification.
The Second Amendment protects my right to bear arms!
Not yours!
The second Amendment states the right of "People to bear Arms",
Prove you're people!
You're not 'people' and I'd go to the Supreme Court to refute your claim!
Socialists run the media?
I'm not scared.
I've signed up and posted it months ago.
(Please don't make me do the research!)
Look at sports and Armstrong's aggressive pursuit of the Tour de France.
Politics are a medium for aggressive misuse of power and money!
Damn, I think I'll start a board!
You've hit the primary focus of this humble board!
Huggs and Kisses,
(I have no prize to award you but you won first prize)
