Vietnam Vets seem to have two points of view:

One side thinks that there are forces that must be fought to secure the American dream.

The other side questions violence as a force.

Vietnam proved that a world class military couldn't subjugate a nation that was suppressed
(by France before the second World War).

Vietnam was the modern day proof of a nation that was willing to decide it's means of Government.

And today we have two Vets who are diametrically opposed!
McCain and Hagel.

Geeze, that's what we did in 1776!
