fsmith - please quote chapter and verse in SEC documents that proves what you are saying, that the company had to cough up ANY shares for the financing, let alone "AN ENORMOUS amount of shares as you claim.
Makamai
Good to see the bid/ask tightening up - a moment ago it was .48/.47. Looks like we could close above .50 today. Volume could reach 500K. Looks like this sleeping giant is finally waking up...GLT all longs.
Makamai
Aren't you glad that you were not able to sell in the mid 30's like you mentioned yesterday. GLTA
Makamai
I certainly hope you finally get some piece of mind tomorrow by selling. There are plenty of folks who will gladly pick up your shares. You might post and let us know what you sold them for... GLTA
Makamai
Well PP - for a change, you at least got part of the story right with respect to the Sekhar brothers. As far as Magnum goes, you're as far off base as ever, however time will tell who the real sucker is won't it..
Makamai
What I'm allergic to odds is people throwing out numbers with calous disregard for the facts as stated in SEC documents and not identifying their source. Also people that claim SEC docs are lies, knowing full well that if that were the case, there would be serious consequences for the people that created them, including the auditors and lawyers that have oversight over them. No odds, the sun still shines brightly here in Hawaii and oh by the way, why do you think Mel Gibson and others sued Green Rubber to get their money back? You are definitely right about the fact that SRI is owned by the other Sekhar brother who is the chemist vice the salesman.
Makamai
TWS - It's interesting to note that PP has yet to reference any links to any numbers he's thrown out, even when specifically requested. You can draw your own conclusions from that.
On the subject of financing, I'd like anyone to find another BB stock that has been able to secure financing in this present environment of any sort, let alone able structure a deal without issuing any stock as collateral. That just shows the strength and promise that MDOR has to become a real contender in the recycling world.
Makamai
You ask which numbers are still in question - I ask which numbers are you trying to factually state? What you claim to be Chad's shares, total outstanding shares, the present float, - ?? - and please post a link to your source.
Makamai
Hey OSS, those are some impressive tires. Makes the tires on that semi really small by comparison. Yea, don't expect too many more days of consolidation before we shoot a lot higher. I'm ready to rock and roll. IMO, this next run should take us over a buck and establish a new 52 week high.
Makamai
If you are going to sling numbers around, how about slinging the factual numbers for a change, if that's possible.
Makamai
Hey PP - at first you were telling us it was 25Million shares. Now you are saying it's 45Million shares. So next week are you going to tell us it's 70Million shares? Why not 500million shares? And you are saying Magnum isn't at all constrained by reality - really now, as they say, if the shoe fits, wear it.
Makamai
OSS - from the technical side, the bollinger bands are narrowing nicely. This type of consolidation is often indicative of a big move to the upside coming soon. Check out the chart below.

Makamai
You still haven't answered my question - What's your point? It's obvious to me that you don't understand a standard Promissory Note's wording. Is it that you would expect, based on the Note's wording, that Magnum would have to repay a $15 million loan if they haven't received the full $15 million??? Like I said, what's your point?
Makamai
So what's your point Odds? Yes that exhibit is in fact a "CONVERTIBLE PROMISSORY NOTE" and it states like any promissory note that for certain value received, repayment shall be made and it provides terms. Details are not provided in promissory notes, the details are included in the primary filing. Really grasping at straws again aren't you.
Makamai
So odds, you'd rather sling mud than do a little easy research? The SEC filing states:"On March 16, 2009, Magnum D’Or Resources, Inc. (“Magnum”) entered into an agreement with the SIMCO GROUP of Quebec, Canada to provide Magnum with working capital to advance its business plan and complete the expansion of its Magog production plant facility in Canada. This agreement provides for a disbursement of up to $15,000,000 cash in exchange for a convertible promissory note that carries the following provisions:..."
Where in the above statement does it say that Magnum had already received any money? Maybe they have and maybe they haven't by now, but how do you get off saying the SEC filing lies?
Makamai
SRI was never aligned with Spreelast although Spreelast might have wished that were the case. The Spreelastglobal website brought up the MDOR website with no assotiation with SRI. MDOR terminated its relationship with Spreelast, and the website was terminated, when they got together with SRI. The company did this because the new technology agreements with SRI provides far superior techniques and processes over those previously licensed with Artech/Spreelast as stated in a 10/19/08 NR.
Makamai
Hey PP - you really enjoy listening to yourself pontificate don't you. Well I'm glad to see you at least got the quote right for a change. Simco is the money brokers and that's all that matters. We'll see all the proof we need that the Magnum/SRI compound is cost effective as contracts begin coming in. Too bad you have nothing better to do with your time than bash this stock because it's going to make the longs a handsome return. This company is for real whether you believe it or not and personally I don't care what you believe.
Makamai
Looks like someone had to dump some shares at the end of the day today. Anyhow, it will IMHO take a PR campaign to get the stock back on an upward trend again. With the Our Planet and 21st Century business solution series coming up, where MDOR is featured in multiple television productions focusing on "Environmentally Friendly Technology" and "Next Generation Advanced Technology", the company will be able to interest investors that don't already own MDOR shares. That and other PR platforms will need to be taken advantage of to make it happen along with news that is more closely aligned with revenue like new contracts, etc.
Makamai
W6 - I stumbled onto this site over the weekend. I'm still studing it. They have almost more information here than on the MDOR site. Check out the videos under "Green Recycling" http://bestgreenpennystocks.com/?page_id=5 It shows the Magnum/SRI compound creating a truck tire retread. Awesome!
Check out all the tabs: "Home" "About" "Green Recycling" "Strategy" "Exposure" "Backing" and "Investors" Lots of good info here.
Makamai
Today's NR just reinforces the fact that Magnum/SRI compound is cost effective - "This has never been effectively done before in a cost effective and viable manner. There have been material approximations, mostly in the form of fillers or processing aids masquerading as raw materials, but none of which are remotely comparable." The NR also states that "). This material, which is now a hybrid raw material, can be added directly into the process line with no material modification, additional process handling, or any additional cost factors. Most importantly the material will have no appreciable loss in properties." and most importantly "The manufacturer would be able to substitute virgin compound with our recycled compound ranging in proportions of 5% to up to 30%, subject to the application and the properties required, without ANY appreciable loss in properties. This allows the manufacturer to be environmentally responsible while enhancing their viability.
Makamai
Unfortunately you are confusing the De-Link Green Rubber process with Magnum/SRI process. That's like comparing cumquats and cucumbers - they may both start with the letter "c", but otherwise not at all the same.
Makamai
OSS - the MDOR website is being updated with the SRI/GOPI video that was on the SRI website. The website says "30 Mar 2009, 07:00 AM - Magnum/SRI Release Positive Test Trials and Produce Next Generation Custom Retread Compounds. By the looks of that, I'd say we are getting close to more news coming out.
Makamai
Yep Surfguy, lovin those cheap shares - what a gift!
Yep - you are certainly right about that. I clicked through all the catagories and there is only that 1 product that shows up. Wonder if Billy Mays and the company had a falling out? Certainly silence is not golden here.
Makamai
What I'd like to know is what happened to all the buzz on this stock that was going on before Xmas. Seemed like a lot of folks expected some great things out of the company and then nothing. Don't have a lot tied up here either, but certainly would like to at least know if there is anything to look forward to. A little status update is way over due from the CEO IMHO.
Makamai
Couldn't agree more OSS. I like the way the bid/ask have come together - I'm sure the company will be updating us in the near future. I agree w/TWS as well. I certainly wouldn't be selling now - the funding is the catalyst the company needed to get this stock off top dead center. As stated in last weeks NR, "Magnum is currently in negotiations with other parties to acquire and joint venture specific material and manufacturing facility operations. These opportunities will be elaborated on in latter announcements when the agreements have been finalized." Obviously these negotiations have been ongoing and I would assume subject to the financing. Presently the company is leasing the Magog facility. If it in fact "acquires" an existing manufacturing operation, that will increase the company's assets considerably and the stock price should acknowledge that. It stands to reason that we should be hearing about this in the near future or they wouldn't have put it in last weeks NR.
Makamai
The bid and ask seem to be tightening up which is a good sign. HDSN is on the bid now at .40 and the ask at .42.
Nothing will happen without news from the company. That's the problem with a pink - no news since July of 08. They file when and if they feel like it so go figure? Market needs to know if they are still in business and making any money. No news is not good news.
Makamai
OSS - I couldn't agree with you more. I think Magnum is about ready to show the world what they've got and I think companies world wide will be beating down the doors with contracts in hand wanting as much of it as they can get.
Makamai
Hey Richie - I know it's tough parting with an old friend. Heck I finally convinced my wife that her old boat anchor needed permanent updating and I got her a notebook. She dearly loves it, and what's so amazing to her is how small it is compared to her old Mac and how much faster it is and the amount of storage capacity it has.
Well, I don't think it will be too long before you'll be able to treat yourself to one. Now that Magnum has received their loan, they can focus on getting the fine rubber processing ready to go. Any company that uses rubber in manufacturing their products will want to cut costs and Magnum has the goods. Getting a contract with the likes of Michelin would be an awesome way to start.
Makamai
Richie - looks like you need to get yourself a belated Xmas present of a new computer or internet service - the video at the link I provided comes up here every time although it does take a couple minutes. Here is the meat of the video from the Overview provided below it: ...."Once activated the highly reactive material is subjected to either a modified reclaim process or any one of the devulcanization technologies currently available. Proprietary processing aids would then be added to the mix and the resultant reactivated compound is then blended with a modified version of the virgin compound used by manufacturers.
What you have at this point is a custom compound that has been tailored to whichever product category intended (in this case heavy truck retread compound). This material which is now a thoroughbred raw material, can be added into their process line with no material modification, added process activity or any additional cost factors in the manufacturers operation and most importantly without any appreciable loss in properties. This has never been viably and cost effectively done before, there have been material approximations, mostly in the form of fillers or processing aids masquerading as raw materials, none of which are remotely comparable...."
Makamai
Richie - if you watched the SRI video, you'd see just how easy it was to create a compound (referred to as the Magnum/SRI compound in the video) and test it tensil properties. Applications such as retread tires have already been been through the R & D process as mentioned in the video. This is a proven process. That's a huge market in and of itself. Other applications for special compounds would require some testing to determine the best mix of properties, however that's minor compared to inventing the product from scratch. The patents have already been proven.
Makamai
Sounds like the company is serious about transforming themselves into profitable going concern. I especially like their Vision statement: "We envision The New InferX playing a larger role with increased focus on the end-users of our technology. We are increasing our thought leadership and product innovation to ensure that InferX clients are the beneficiaries of the best technology solutions available."
There could be some plesant surprises downstream.
Makamai
You are absolutely right Surfguy. In this present environment, the loan qualification process that Simco would have put Magnum through would have been 3 times more intensive than in the past. Simco would have performed a very close scrutinization of the Magog facility as well as SRI's processes, as well as management's ability to perform. Knowing that, Magnum's investors have even more assurance that this company is the real deal. I also found the SRI video to be very helpfull in understanding how the process works. Any company that can cut manufacturing costs by substituting from 5% to 30% recycled material without any appreciable loss in properties, will be lining up with purchase orders at Magnum's door. The list of applications is endless.
Makamai
As the company matures and develops, the probability of a buyout will increase. Hopefully it won't be from a suitor that will restrict the market expansion of fine rubber side of the company in order to maintain a competitive edge in their particular arena. That wouldn't be in the shareholders best interests. I'm eagerly awaiting the first rubber application contract that Magnum gets, and if it is with a major tire manufacturer/retread company it will really put us on the map big time!
Makamai
OSS - have you checked out the SRI website video showing Gopi manufacturing and testing an SRI/Magnum compound yet? That is the wave of the future and what will be the sustainable life blood of the company. Gopi's bottom line is "The Magnum SRI Custom Compound once fully developed will be a world beating recycling solution, setting a totally new standard for performance and viability." Now that's something to get excited about.
Makamai
Appreciate the updates - Sounds like this will be a win-win situation for both companies. Hopefully the market will react accordingly.
Makamai
That SRI/Magnum compound video from the SRI website is totally awesome - the possibilities are endless. Check it out and the explanation I've included below with a direct link:
http://srielastomers.com/2009/03/magnums-sri-custom-compounds
Overview and Simplified Preliminary Demonstration
Our starting point is the standard production output from the Magog plant once the crumb production line is operational. While the “Surface Activation Process” is effective with material ranging from 40 mesh and better all the way to Cryogenic crumb in the 120 to 200 mesh range, we will be carrying out our process trials with standard generic 40 mesh “whole truck” dust.
Once activated the highly reactive material is subjected to either a modified reclaim process or any one of the devulcanization technologies currently available.
This has never been viably and cost effectively done before, there have been material approximations, mostly in the form of fillers or processing aids masquerading as raw materials, none of which are remotely comparable.
This in itself is a significant factor, effectively the Magnum SRI Custom Compound would be dropped into the final minute of their normal production mixing cycle in their Banburys or intermixs.
The manufacturer would be able to substitute virgin compound with our recycled compound ranging in proportions from 5% to up to 30% subject to the application and the properties required without any appreciable loss in properties allowing them to be environmentally responsible while enhancing their viability.
The Magnum SRI Custom Compound once fully developed will be a world beating recycling solution, setting a totally new standard for performance and viability.
W6 - 7feet OTR Tire Buffing Video Mar19 2009 at Magnum Magog Facility - those are some really big tires and would provide a lot of buffings. You can see in the background a lot more tires in this size range ready to go. Upward and onward from here.
Makamai
Who was saying any different? They have received a $15 mil loan and will be putting the entire amount to work for the company. This is a matter of record.
