Very interesting.
Close the audit on Friday: PARTY ALL WEEKEND
Duh...
And you are talking of things you don't even know about (aboot). Have you been to Canada? Do you know the big picture?
Maybe it's time for you to take a trip to Alberta/Edmonton/Calgary.
Good luck to you, buddy.
So, I'm in Alberta and I got some interesting information. Alberta is pulling resources from anywhere they can. Workers from as far as China are working in the Alberta boom.
I got my information from locals here in Alberta.
The FACT that SLJB is probing into Alberta is materially relevant. I'm happy for SLJB's interest in this hot sector and my hopes and prayers go to all involved. Alberta needs assistance with it's growth and fellow countrymen should be a first source.
Housing values in Alberta have surged over the past ten years by a factor of at least 2. That is, a house purchased for $200K five years ago is now selling for $450K. Of course, situations vary but the situation is apparent: Housing costs in Alberta have raised a lot.
The bottom line after all of this is that realestate will continue to be a hot sector for at least the next 20-50 years. All of this is IMO and I would like to propose that after the 20-50 years there will be a significant decline as populations decline.
So... yeah, Alberta + SLJB = WIN in the near term (that is within the next 5 years.)
Oh, and you may wonder or question as to the reason for rising housing costs... It's OIL... Remember the Edmonton Oilers??? yeah... Alberta = Edmonton... Anyways... Oil resources that were never before tapped into are now being tapped into here in Canada. Just more pieces of the puzzle folks!

That which you speak of is true in your OPINION. Those that think the same of you are those who have sold... prematurely. AF's are the big question. AF's will come and with OSC/SEC supervision. GLTA longs.
On a side note... I really hope this sinks back to sub .02's so I can dig in some more! I am holding the majority of my holding until this is better than $2. Don't worry, I'll pull profit sub-dollar range... but not much :)

I'm poking around in the http://www.servicealberta.gov.ab.ca/fl/acts_regs.cfm site but not finding much. AFAIK Sulja doesn't have much in Alberta but I could be wrong. I'm having a hard time finding much that says what SLJB's holdings are. I know they have SAM's and some other business outlets in the Harrow area but that's on the other side of Canada.
On a side note... I've had a blast travelling through Canada. Some real friendly party animals here. LOL.
I'm in the Alberta regions for a few days. Any suggestions on SLJB research while I'm here?
TIA

SLJB Announces Updates on Recent Company Events
LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 26, 2007 -- Today a SLJB (PINKSHEETS: SLJB) spokesperson announced that the Company's CEO Steve Sulja will travel to Alberta on Monday, April 30, 2007. Mr. Mian Siddiq, the Company CFO will be accompanying Mr. Steve Sulja on his travels. Their agenda and goals for this trip are as follows:
1) To meet and discuss with area mill representatives and owners
to negotiate metric dimensional lumber production for projected
exports to foreign markets.
2) To negotiate pricing for North America operations.
3) To negotiate lease for new location in Calgary, AB.
CEO Steve Sulja added, "There will be some management changes in the company effective as of the first of May, 2007. Mr. Ron Coates, who has been our Sales Manager at SLJB, has been promoted not only Sales Manager in our area, but now appointed General Manager for all SLJB operations."
Leslie Budway will continue her role in the company as our Credit Analysis Manager. In addition she will now take on the task of being our in-house Investor Relations Department. We have decided to do an in-house Investor Relation as opposed to have an outside firm in an attempt to preserve shareholder confidence. This route was decided based on the fact that many outside IR Firms that we contacted wanted to be paid in shares, not money. We did not feel that this was fair to our shareholders when they could possibly "pump and dump" SLJB shares, causing instability and uncertainty amongst our shareholders.
Finally we would like to announce that we have requested our lawyers and they have agreed to depart today for the Middle East, to meet with our lawyers and agents in the region, in attempt to complete long outstanding deals.
We continually thank our Shareholders for their continuous support.

Thanks! GLTU too.
That's one of my 60 day GTC orders from ETRD :)
.005 come on baby!!! /sigh... i'm gonna have to raise my bid, eh?
So you are saying it's a buy at .006. Roger that.
ditto! Take the good with the bad, the yin with the yang.
I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I threw some money at CKYS. I sold for a profit well before the scandal unfolded but I still always thought I'd jump back in CKYS... not now, of course. So, needless to say, I'm not really following my instincts on aything. I'm hoping for the best.
After everything that has happened, I'm indifferent. I'm cautiously optimistic about SLJB but mostly because I don't like to be doom and gloom about things. Believe it or not, I'm a generally positive person with a healthy dose of skepticism.
"A separate lawsuit is nearing completion in Detroit against Loftwerks Inc., the publicly traded company that Sulja Bros. claimed to have merged with last year."
So they did or did not merge with LFWK??? WTF? I mean, I was around when the symbol changed from LFWK to SLJB. The "claim" that they merged was valid... errr.... right???
I'm going to be patient. Plenty of time between now and July to get some cheap shares.
So did the idiot bureaucrat/lawyers involved in this circus actually accomplish anything today? Why didn't they just set a deadline for July in the first place? I thought lawyers were supposed to be smart... They don't even know what they are doing or how long it will take? Well, I guess they are happy to be getting paid while in court... CHA CHING goes the laywers.
Meanwhile investors are like, WTF? Can we have some news that means something?

And I was just about to get a subscription to this site... not with this type of posting.
Tomorrow is the beginning of the end. But then again, so is every day.
Would someone please post something worth reading?
Well, I don't know if it's "good" reason... but it is reason :)
Just supports what I was thinking. Special interests moving a stock in order to generate interest and positive speculation. All for the big let down on Friday and the coming weeks.
Of course I'm hoping that I'm wrong but it doesn't really matter.
All my skeptical opinion and I don't care what anybody thinks of it.
Interesting 8M+ volume yesterday for no apparent reason. Things seem to be back to normal today.
lol, it's just the way I talk. everyone is a crazy yahoo... you have to be in this world!
Okay, El.. I just have to make this clear: I wasn't looking to "credit" any post or poster with anything that happened with SLJB. There is not one single message board poster that I would give that much credit to, ever. I was looking for direction to a post that may actually link to some reliable/relevant data. I do my own DD, check my sources and make my own responsible adult decisions. I'm interested in this but I'm not stressing or losing my shirt or any other personal property over it.
So the short answer would be, "no, nothing can really explain the raised PPS today other than some crazy yahoos buying and selling and perhaps trying to manipulate some buying confidence into this for another deadline let down."
That would be my conclusion and, of course, my opinion. Believe it or not, I'm cautiously optimistic... which usually means I'm about to be let down. BIG TIME :)
lol
Can anyone point me to the post that described what happened today? Is the increase just the result of trading pressure on speculation of a favorable outcome on Friday? Is this going to dip back down or ramp up in favorable anticipation?
The AF's were PROMISED and quoted as "DATE CERTAIN". Yes, that is plenty to make it tank from .09 to nothing. Any more questions? It's a no brainer IMO... no offense intended but it just seems as plain as bagels and cream cheese.
Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think so... and as far as number of shares being a mis-match somewhere... don't forget the idea of "market sentiment". No demand + all selling + BAD NEWS = LOW PPS.
I don't get it... Seems like plenty of scary info is being posted about Sam Sulja's trading records from TDWaterhouse... Why isn't this thing dropping? Come on, sell sell sell!!!
Just my opinion, don't do what I say :)
And this is why people were interested in SLJB... construction business of 20+ years pursuing a hot sector. Now let's see if they are legitimate. Sink or swim time over the next 12 months.

Not as far as I know. You could ask your broker. I could be wrong and level II's might give more insight... But I would think there wouldn't be much of a guaruntee on prices since the market is constantly changing. If strong buying pressure comes on then what ever bundles are available at whatever price can change. I think you have to be really close to the action to give a good answer on something like this.. and you have to be close to the action AS the action is occuring
I'll take a SWAG (silly wild ass guess) and say that if the market holds that there are only 50, 100, and 100 shares then you will only get a partial fill of 50 + 100 + 100 = 250 shares at what the sellers were asking so a total of $13.00.
However, If the seller with 50 @ $1.00 held several bundles of 50 shares @ $1.00 each it could be possible that you would fill a complete order of 300 shares at about $6.00: 50 shares @ $1.00 each x 6 bundles = complete fill of 300 shares.
Trading with SLJB has been tight lately. Seems like my orders used to get filled easily butthe other day I had a buy order in for about 90K shares at $.0055 each and it never got filled even though the PPS touched .004. So, to me that means things are tight right now and people aren't letting this move a whole lot... They want the transactions at w/e the sell is and there is little wiggle room.
Again, this is just my educated opinion from watching things. Prove me wrong! Of course, watching level II's is fine if you are home at your computer that long.
"if the sell is 50 @ $1.00 , 100 @ $2.00 and 100 @ $10.00.... and i put in a market order to buy 300 shares at "market value" what will happen ... all online trading"
This supposedly dropped to .004 today but my order to buy at .0055 never processed today... whaddup wid dat?
I would like to be called to testify against SLJB if this is indeed a pump&dump scam like so many are saying. All I know is that I was reading company BLOGs about AF's "in-hand" and all this great stuff while investors were just eating it right up. And then it even went so far as to have a "date certain" promise... man what ever! I'm still looking at my account and the huge NEGATIVE just praying that this will some how turn around. As much as I would testify against these people I hope it's not a scam just as much.
Good luck to us all. Let's all say a prayer that this type of situation is not common and turns out to not be a SCAM... Who in their right minds sets out to do such things? Justice will prevail.
I vote no. He has made accusations against me and he has violated my trust.
Outstanding! Thanks for taking pictures! I look forward to seeing them!
Good luck at the show!
And BTW... Dude is gender neutral! I saw it on CNN!
Problem is that when you try to be equal you get hammered by the bashers and pumpers. Both of which are really freaking annoying. They both post really long meaningless posts just to hear themselves talk. Most people don't even read their entire posts and just scroll to the end to see the annoying black and white photos. err...
I don't know who's more annoying... The bashers or the pumpers that bash the bashers.
Yeah, but if those bad guys can get away and their PPS goes up (anyone quote the PPS before/during/after for these guys anyways?) Then surely our slick willies can get us back to where we can all break even!!! LOLZ!!! hahahhahaha... yeah, this stock is dead. IMO of course.. just my Opinion!!! woot!
I think it's that hip new slang the kids are using. Like "dude, that's bad ass". I mean, it's not "bad" "ass", it's sweet hot ass that everyone wants a piece of... oh.. uhh... never mind hehehehehe :)
just kidding of course... please price sike or hedge hog or w/e the hell you call it back down to .005 so i can get my average down to .025. Thanks!
