With billions of the earth's population planning on kids and up-classing their consumption (and the resulting waste products and garbage), hard to understand how no new resources needed.
Strange the environmentalists are not in to funding a ship or whatever, to go out and reclaim the plastic islands in the pacifc water dead zones. I saw a video of a Japanese inventor that relatively low-heat melted the clear plastic into basically reclaimable plastic and fuel oil. Resource poor and challenged Japan might be interested in that . . . but big guys want nuclear fun and oil companies hardly interested . . . Frack it and pipelines across the farm lands. No real answers except population control (and business is against that also) . . . witness illegals and job out-sourcing. They believe inflation is healthy and so is birth-to-death credit cards.
Once a people or country like New G decides western lifestyle beats fasting and no radio batteries, etc. . . . they need money to buy things with. Human behavior has always exploited Nature. Even herds overgraze until re-balanced.
Nautilus is still several years from any mining . . . relax . . . and figure where the funding will come from . . . us? ;)
Probably a lot of us watching the paint dry on wall here.
MCZ funding must be very small now . . . yet plenty for corporate salaries. Looking like MCZ may have some 'secret' funding and partners that could take-it over (if Darren can make enough to start another company on a buy-out)?
If next earnings this year do not come off, MCZ will be kind of historical footnote in 2015? Some folks think MCZ can keep it up though . . . for years to come. Problem I see is funding for new tech may not be available, and certainly not production funding to get back into bricks-and-mortar setting. MCZ is definitely an online seller now, which is AOK I guess.
Next earnings call going to be interesting.
That's a great idea.
Would the freeze stop him from?
I see that the South Korean Prime Minister has resigned over the Ferry accident lose. I might be so bold as to ask, where is such honor and principle in our USA business and governmental leaders?
Until each of us relearns the value of honesty, moral integrity and proper use of scientific logic in business and person affairs . . . as our spiritual and consciousness guideposts . . . our nation, the human race and our wonderful planet is under threat.
I do not think one can expect North America to undergo a recovery without companies like HL and their commodity outputs, to be fully used in that end-game. The recent PR on the reclaimation (sp) award that HL received, is evidence that HL can have a real future as a company and investment potential.
HL is very near 52 week price lows . . . that normally is a great time to invest. I simply do not foresee the stock price of HL going too much lower, for but a short period of time. That's why I made my first purchase around $3.02 area. We have new mining areas (North America centered) coming on line and a stock dividend (that I would like to see increased, as time goes on). I believe HL has a wise management team, looking out for us as retail investors. Wish I could say the same for our national management
potential, doing the same.
QEs should have restarted the USA economy, but were poorly planned and administered . . . to what real purpose? I might say that the term Stagflation is what we are into right now . . . concurrent inflation in some sectors and deflation in others . . . and one can play the rolling sectors for their lows and highs. Example, TSLA, LMT, EXXON, ZNGA, and BioTech ETFs. I have this terrible feeling Congress and Administration are not seeing the current need to immediately switch into reality recovery mode for USA, feeling they can slide through the mid-term elections without doing anything. Bad idea . . . they will very soon see?
Regardless of what is coming . . . I am holding on to my HL . . . and can buy more. HL is part of my future potential portfolio.
We will still need copper and PMs for electronics, etc.
Medical uses of silver (particularly as backup antibiotic against resistance new diseases and infections), will help keep HL open and running, looking forward. At the current price range for replacement lead acid batteries for automotive uses, etc. (go price one--shocking). . . we have another co-production commodity that HL mines that earns its way. Super lead acid batteries (the coiled plated design and gels) have cost effective future still ahead for stop-start tech uses. Guy across the street from me has a coiled gel one in his vehicle and loves it performance!
What is board proposing (due to this motherboard sourcing from Foxconn), that MCZ just ordered a Foxconn developed motherboard for MOJO . . . or did MCZ design something different from what the other company is to sell? Has MCZ sold its design MOJO for others to use . . . if so . . . do we investors get a higher MCZ stock price coming soon?
Anyone think MCZ is holding back this info you both discussed, as to use in next earnings call? I am just wondering if this could mean MCZ will have 'pop-up' earnings to report, due to it? Everyone hopes for 'pop-up' earnings from stuff sold to go with PS4 and XBox One ( as well as more sales from upgrading for old platforms.
For me its hard to fathom why those going against Russia on Ukraine, are so desperate to keep Russia down and out?
Any of us will benefit from renewing The Cold War . . . , nor an active stage of armed warfare in and around Ukraine.
I suspect it has to do with diverting popular mass discontent with governmental mis-management vetted by multi-nationals, desire to up military spending budgets instead of domestic programs (like in-country jobs), taking over Russian oil/gas delivery to EU, and
preventing Russia from continuing to upgrade its arctic military and undersea resources exploitation desires.
Looking alot like the Sunday finalizing of the new set of USA/EU sanctions on Russia, will have a negative effect on stock markets.
China is not liking this and will just increase joint China/Russia economic and trade without using USA $s. China is getting p---ed o-- more and more with USA, and I would not be surpised to see sudden Chinese investments in Eastern Ukraine. China is working to restart the old Oriental Silk Route to EU area, except this time it will carry the freight and passengers on a Chinese-made High Speed Train network.
China can easily ship in rare earth exotic metals to EU and do a trade for Gold. Why Gold? Rationale is barter trading for PMs, by-passes the USA dollar. AND, Chinese security forces riding those trains both ways, will make EU and USA think twice about slicing Ukraine into two pieces. Russia really does not want Chinese on their underbelly, geo-wise . . . they re already frightened of more Asian green cards working in sparely populated Siberia. The equation gets more and more complex.
Pause to consider the above comments (even if considered Sci-Fi like scenarios), when one looks at HL future stock price. HL is
vastly positioned in North America.
I also would like someone to tell the board (if they might), where HL PMs and other mined minerals are sold: are they going out-country? Or, hopefully into USA Treasury Mint purchase vaults?
Perhaps . . . is something similar to Oil traffic transpositions happening? Big Oil ships USA oil and gas overseas to get higher prices and then turns around and ships its foreign well outputs to USA and we the USA consumers get higher petro price at the pump?
Under Fair Trade . . . no taxes out or into USA either way, and profits stay overseas with no USA income taxes. And, the tankers are owned by whom? GM looked at that . . . and thought . . . why can't we do that too?!! Built cars and parts in Mexico and Canada, and ship into USA duty free. Ever wonder why no taxes ever around to pay down our deficit? USA workers required to pay taxes, why not USA product selling, foreign based USA corporations?
Why would multinationals want USA jobs growth and deficit spending reduction, to cut-down their overseas deposited profits? Ask yourself, why does not FED QE funding receivers be forced to spend it on USA factories and grid and road repair . . . instead of dumping it into stock market support? And accordingly, are not Pension funds demanding USA investments only, for USA citizenry retirement monies? Want your retirement (and Social Security), funding Hope and Change?
Another question: if USA interest rates go up . . . what comes of gold prices? Got HL? Cause if USA interest price goes up . . . everything HL needs to mine with affects PM prices.
My feelings also.
Where is the 'beef' on ATIG claims of coming platform use?
Only hope is tribal casinos accociation it seems . . . and they are extremely cautious. In couple of years, tribal cainos could be hard pressed to keep their customers, if state governments enact paid access to taxable online mobile gaming/gambling. though . . . why 'rock-the-boat' with innovation . . . tribal leaders think everything will just go on like past. Good luck with that business model. What I am basically saying is tribes are happy the way things are now . . . when have most of us ever set about making changes in our worldview and business model . . . when we don't have to. Let the good times keep rolling!
As individuals . . . so goes our nations?
There is a time in the affairs of men, when the tide is favorable for action? Better to go with the tide, then later have to be acting against it?
Using a reality check . . . did not the few tribes that allowed ATIG to test the ATIG mobile gambling platforms on their premises . . . do so at no risk to themselves at all (play-for-free testing)?
Part of the problem of launching the ATIG gambling platform, is getting conscensus of agreement amongst various tribal interests and needs. So far, logic tells us to look at what we have to grasp in our hand. The tribes feel threatened by mobile paid gambling, and basically enjoy working the casino crowd in-house.
As do NV large casino owners.
My solution: do a private placement for ATIG funding with warrants and apply for paid gambling license in a western state (e.g. Idaho . . . they need new tax revenues and centered towards favorable free right of choice for their citizens and visitors). Folks are going to gamble, so therefore why not tax that act and put some conditions on it? Like not under 18 years of age, registered accounts and proof of age, limits on monthly gambling amounts for individuals and state supported professional oversight
for troubled individuals. ATIG needs state(s) on their side to make their platform work. Tribes will fail as partner potentials . . . write a grant . . . and go with a state . . . and get it done. Then, tribes can see the future, or go into the mist of the dawn alone. Does ATIG have years to keep trying?
ATIG has online free site to play right now (or at least last time I looked) and data from several tribes that allowed free-for-play mobile on their premises. This is the stuff that grants and partnerships can be made from. Why not tell the tribes ATIG is there to help you with paid online mobile gambling platforms . . . and we would love to continue our relationship? However; we need funding and are actively seeking it in other venues for our business plan to achieve success.
1
One thing that does make me suspicious, is if ATIG had funds to hire marketing firm . . . one would want to believe ATIG had concurrently hired properly skilled legal talent . . .to 'cover things'.
The new BOD members seem to fit that bill?
We are entering proper seasonal weather for launching to bricks-and-mortar casinos (say Native tribal association membership)at minimum.
And, small Quik-Stops in NV near Idaho and Calif. border (truckers and vacation type customers). Large NV urban casinos must have huge control of ALL paid gaming/gambling in-state? Could this be part of inability to get freeze off ATIG?
Even IGT has had online free-play SW games for years out in retail stores, and is now positioned to be working with large NV,etc. retail casinos for online pay-to-play gambling. If NV keeps its hands in its pockets much longer . . . Asian and EU is coming in on their lack of online cash play prescence. For example, ships off West coast owned by Asians and using Asian satellite based platform, to foster electronic mobile paid platforms.
I have always felt ATIG should have approached USA owned, western USA private space launcher companies, to get online paid system active worldwide. USA and Mexico, for instance, are prime for foreign national entities to use Free Trad Treaties status, to enact such? Imagine building a brick-and-mortar casino at a near USA port that also accomodates cruise ships (not of USA registry).
New BOD members: work on it . . . make some calls?
Forget the freeze status in USA and go south-of-the-border or North . . . to relaunch ATIG paid online? Get the Native casinos
in on it? For example, Tribes have potential native privilege for Riverboat casinos on waterways, near their tribal grounds (under 'fishing'/'leisure use laws as territorial Nations of Status with USA and states governments'). CDA tribe in Idaho has large Lake and attached river traffic rights, also same availbility on Columbia inward from Portland, OR. Do I have to write the proposal for free too? Get in touch with Grants Writer, with poli tico/tribal experience.
New BODs suppose to have experience and training in commerce and law . . . lets see some?
Agreed.
These mining closures were unfortunate, it in the type of activity they do . . . can't always be stopped. It takes a brave individual to go down knowing what can (and will) happen down there. Example: stress fractures after drilling and blasting with the rock formations and overhead ground load.
Does HL carry its own insurance in-company?
Of course, federal disability and death payments are provided, but hardly enough to keep a family going afterwards.
Take care of your people . . . they are your greatest capital asset . . . to business success. And, your customers.
Your not the only one.
Think they lack funds, is one problem.
Problem 2. Will they compile with .01 minimum stock trading price new OTC rules, or go to Vanc. B.C., pink sheet trading rules (meaning no regs virtually)?
Problem 3: Management has now 'GM persona as to PR potential' . . . 'we were there . . . but we didn't do it!'.
Great, lets hear the real story, why no paid online gambling/gaming via ATIG tech. This is the new frontier . . . lets take it! Silence is like Finding Flight 370X recorder via satellite image and sound fences sub-surface in pacific . . . da!
Is ATIG worried they will take the 'sting' out of PR stock effect, if they announce anything about when ATIG trades retail again? That might make some sense. Stay tuned for funding on mass audience mailing or online finance interviews and pop-up ads for ATIG?
The Baileys have their own money for that, right?
Put some Chicken in the pot? We retail did.
Thanks from board for your info.
Noted your name from another PM board.
A friend told me Barrons recommended KGC.
Russia 'might' let KGC sell PMs to China, or Russia itself?
I cannot foresee Russia wanting to go to war, right now, without China and NK help. Russian forces would have hard time just defeating Poland and Germany conventionally on West EU front . . . without using exotic weapons.
Concur with your statement about IGC trying to get PMs out of Russia, right now. Chile and Africa countries most stability of their foreign investments?
Its at its 52 week low and summer-fall mining is coming up in NA.
Worrisome PM prices are so down and company expenses piling up.
Would KGC stop their dividend pay-out . . . looks like they will need some funding soon?
Junior buy-ins in North America and other Americas, might be wise move now?
I am back into HL, just below 3.02, though I had this feeling HL would go under 3.00 (nonsense to hold out for a few more cents).
Will buy some more if they drop it below 2.90 . . . I do not foresee that at this particular moment.
I know you folks do not think HL should get into other exotic metals (particularly Li-ion) in North America). If HL does, I think this would be WWIII heating up situation, decision by our 'national planners'. Iceland has lots of exotic metals . . . maybe HL could get some EU business that way.
Tesla announced they will be building EVs in China in next 3-4 years. China is demanding more Cu metal . . . good for HL business. Here is now smart your leadership is . . . China has 25% import tariff on cars made in USA . . . but USA has not such tariff on Chinese Cars exported to USA. Read between the lines . . . our bub-bies GM (who USA taxpayers rescued from BK), refuses to pay back to us taxpayers the Billions we lost selling our government owned tesla stock. Now, GM announces it will invest $12 Billion in China plants . . . one guess where the Chinese-made parts shipped will ramp up to. Guess most of congress, etc. is learning to speak another country's language, cause we sure treat them like USA citizens plus?
Tesla Musk is thinking ahead as China is stockpiling exotic metals in-country and refusing to sell to Japan and USA and EU in attempt to be world source of solar cells, EVs, and super alloys in aircraft, etc. China has its eyes on Aussies and Siberia for population expansion and resources therein. Meanwhile, USA domestic policies ruled by multinationals that pay very low to none taxes in USA, but sell here! Congress and Administration is going to need a whole lot more then a tel-me-prompter to explain that to Americans?
Still believe USA is not stupid enough to force HL stock
price to where HL has to shut down some payroll workers and mining. But who would have thought USA lead acid batteries would be selling for $85-100 . . . while forcing USA Pb manufacturers to the wall on domestic Pb recycling sites? There is no inflation . . . read my lips? No Hope and some Change!!
HL should also be talking to Fuel Cells North America manufacturers and see if HL can be their partner (via vertical product integration) . . . by supplying them with fuel cell metals)?
That should 'speed' (and I do mean speed behaviorally)ATIG on to a rapid and true path of unfreeze. All we need to sink the boat.
Anyone unsure of their finances, has found their car-ma. And they say wealth has no effect on psy-neural chips . . . or is it psy-chics? Say . . . is not Atlantis the name of the island in the Triangle where Wonder Woman resides?
Now we have a general idea of why no 2st ATIG shareholders meeting?
Anyone think tribal casino alliance is in growing trouble from state-based online lottery/game play (soon to be enacted)? Its only a matter of time until stay-at-homes gain the rights in their states to buy and play for cash online (cheaper then brick-and-mortar and no sharing the proceeds on the play amounts with private entities).
If native casinos do not go online pay-to-play gambling (and gaming), next gen potential players will opt for state and large casino industry play option. The next gen is very mobile phone and tablet gaming oriented. Surmising my above immediate comments have value . . . The Casino Love Boat is going to experience dwindling customer base, due to tightening personal financial situation for Americans as USA economic inflation/deflation scenario continues its effect on their wallets and their dreams machine.
Which leaves us with . . . who loves you baby (ATIG)?
I assume the 2 new BOD seaters are going to write a thriller novel or book, to include a chapter or two about gambling with used bricks and dream-ware platforms. Ever read the book about the college whiz kids that developed tennis shoe mobile computers and tapped their player friends their crowd view look-see of other players cards . . . around a table?
Anyone have an estimate of when ATIG unfreezes . . . I say by July or August . . . just a sheer guess . . . though probably surely in 2014?
Hello all and happy Easter and other religion holidays.
Blood Moon is on, with earth and moon and sun in matching lineup.
USA Utah bank registered business jet photographed at Iran airport.
Jet has GE jet engines and thus had to have USA government agency approval to land in embargoed Iran (who and what is that all about?).
USA supplying arms to Kiev government . . . Netherlands may base some F-16s near troubled area in Southeast Europe.
Things heating up in Syrian Conflict . . . news kept under the rug.
Russian Putin to China to do deal in oil trade (for China PMs)?
Knew guy (now dead) was in air force in Vietnam . . . they loaded USA transport with South Vietnamese High general staffer PMs for flight to USA, at end of conflict. It is rumored Kiev shipped their PMs to USA in exchange for USA/EU loan guarantee.
HL hovers near $3.00 again . . . looking like general market will be down next week? If so, HL might fall a few for cents. HL price cannot go much lower, or company will need another loan to keep operational on all its projects?
If petro prices go up much more . . . folks will start parking and riding buses and share rides to work. GM and EXXON won't like that, nor USA government and states getting fewer tax revenues.
Russia needs oil over $100 to pay its bills . . . whats not to like? Multinationals rule USA and we are rice paddy workers now.
I have doubt OMEX would sell to them.
It has been suggested that some who are short OMEX, have also bot in the other direction and wish to create a short squeeze they can go long on for profit.
Estimates have been made that OMEX could get $35-90 million off pending wreck recovery, while keeping its crew and equipment operating. Other OMEX projects for 2014-2015 offer more potential $millions. I expect some news in next 2-6 months could take investors over $3.00 (but no guarantee that will come off).
Lets see how it plays out . . . 'we is richer' . . . 'we is poorer'.
Probability is (for me) indicating over 60%+ = 'we is richer'.
Movie . . . artifacts . . . coins . . . PMs . . . undersea adventure, whats not to like? OMEX does the creative work, investment, and labor . . . others sit behind a table and are just players in a casino.
OMEX staffers: go talk or call GLUU VG company . . . ask them if you two could come up with a treasure hunting VG for mobile gaming . . . millions play on their phones and other devices. Ever heard of FarmVille and Deer Hunter? Cheap way to make a movie? Make the phone call . . . can't cost much to pursue. Your upcoming wreck recovery is rich with plots. Think outside The Discovery Channel box. Give some found coins as game reward . . . get the public on your side . . . you can even discuss a certain state lotto card 'Treasure Of The Deep' scratch ticket . . . try . . .
make us proud.
I just watch YF board (do not post there also).
When a stock (like OMEX) gets near is 52 week low range, that is time for me to get serious on it.
OMEX has survived for over a decade, and now has better equipment upgrades currently for surveys to come. The Pacifica exotic mineral mining thing is possible and thrown in, makes OMEX worth a bet on now?
I see OMEX as a PM miner play . . . with sea adventure and artifacts thrown in. Looks like humanity is going to continue to degrade its oceanic biosphere anyway (oil spills, plastic islands, toxic waste dumping at night and Nuke It baby!) . . . so sea floor mining will become our future for better or worse.
Anyone know if PM veins continue into sea floor and continental shelf? Not a geologist but I wonder if PM deposits are possible on oceanic floor (thinner earth crust and Vulcan active sourcing?
I do sea the potential for undersea assistance mining contracts from mineral companies, for OMEX. Maybe OMEX should talk to IRobot company and get into partnership, to upgrade its undersea robotics?
I did not check the background of new BOD members.
Assumed that most often, pinky sheet stocks get retired professionals with nothing to do, to sit on their BOD.
Puzzling that 2 such high-end professionals would go with ATIG.
Wonder what's up?
Agree we will need some financing and PR boosts to get any investors interested in ATIG again.
The two Native casinos that tried ATIG gambling mobile SW platform, why didn't ATIG up-date us on results? Now its might be that other tribal casinos will be using it?
ATIG is so confusing to grasp their direction to be.
Was the freeze implied to prevent someone from coming in on their platform? To keep certain groups away from it?
This is all so James Bond cards-to-the-chest stuff.
Anyone know when a freeze is released . . . do we investors get same number of shares back?
Ok . . . financials are in order . . . what money is available to spend for tech and internet hookups? News today of 2 new BOD members . . . but are they really active in gambling community, or retired and looking for something to do? Not trying to be negative, just cautious.
It takes one year to 'unfreeze' our retail investor accounts and ATIG? I don't think so.
I will watch and see if any (of 28 Native casinos) network signs up for ATIG online platform paid useage.
NOTE: NLOP.com has now advertising on internet that one can gamble for cash and prizes legally in USA for USA citizens (even though Face Book account). And ATIG can't get going for one year plus? I have not checked recently, but several months ago ATIG had free online play site active. Which would you rather play for prizes and cash, or free entertainment?
IF ATIG unfreezes . . . what will our ATIG stock shares be worth and is a Reverse Spilt in the cards for us? I foresee it wil be quite difficult to get new ATIG investors (through online popup ads and promotional mailings), if they stop and research ATIG stock history. Maybe ATI"G should include a free burn phone with ever stock purchase?
Something is strange in wonderland . . . when over 40 states allow prize and paid online gambling in limited venues of type . . . and ATIG never has given us retail investors, any info on results and numbers of playing online-ers from their 'free' online gambling site.
YF OMEX poster thought up this scenario: Explorer posts in Bahamas and picks up supplies, liberty time, and full crew was flown in. Then Explorer does some wrecks scanning off Bahamas and also does initial seabed scan of Columbia Wreck Sea Floor, with new tech installed on Explorer. Then on to its USA harbor and down-time to access data and new film grids with USA experts it meets with there.
We do not know if Explorer has writers and film company, to create possible story plots of undersea adventures treasure hunting film, do we? Milk it! Could make story line like ala Titanic type of sea storm disaster to start film off.
Or, Lion Gates meets undersea creature feature or James Bond undersea robot force. Why not get some Doctors and Lawyers with extra cash to back a low-budget thriller? Who would not want a chance to utilize Explorer, etc. equipment to make a gig?
Thrown in a little Victory Secret model types in under gear . . . .
Missed the below 2.00 OMEX stock price again . . . guess I will just put in a standing order, for another walk down price move. Assuming we get below 2.00 again next few days. 2.00-ish area may now be new base . . . expecting good news soon (in couple of weeks).
Realistically, what can he tell us?
Cannot foresee any NV or USA business touching them as partner (and what do they have to offer as buy-out)?
They had potential in 2005 time range . . . but muffed it.
No active casino (except Natives) would have anything to do with them.
One hope for ATIG: foreign (maybe Chinese) corporation buys them (or partners with stock ownership buy), as way into Neveda/Western USA online gambling platform provider area. HINT to ATIG: get an Asian or foreign buy-in (say Ireland). SEC would roll-over for Chinese investors and end freeze (with new investor/partnership money). China has used this avenue before to quick gain BK company tech and by-pass USA rules process, and sell in USA market. Why do all legal paper work, when one can buy into USA company (via its stock) and place some of your folks on the BOD)?
Cheap way for ATIG 'management' to get going again . . . and have a partner with skill and bucks. Chinese internet gambling companies should be approached (Hint: Hint: to ATIG . . . make a phone call.
Lots of Asians come to NV and Calif casinos as tourists (foreigners probably can easily by-pass USA online cash gambling laws, as not USA legal residents). VISA online account gambling anyone? JOKE: bring a foreign 'bride' tourist into USA and get green card (and Visa card account) . . . she touches the keys and you tell her what to bet)? <---ATIG read this and think analogy of role reversal scenario . . . you are now the USA 'bride'.
Figured OMEX would trade under 2.00, I wondered if they had the guts to do it. Must be testing the waters . . . bring it on . . . Survivor Water Game!
OMEX is my pick for PMs investing right now.
Pacifica exotic minerals recovery thrown in . . . along with movie and theme park display rights. Regardless of general market drop, OMEX has the capability for extra venue multiple revenue sources.
And . . . we have military contracts potential in ship disaster recovery: we can take down remote computer-controlled balloon lifts . . . for example.
Looks like we need some more 'hand grease' for Ba-ham-mas, to get things rolling? We need to cut the government there into a share of the recovery profits . . . budgets are getting smaller these days.
Where else will they find new revenues for government services? England . . . get real . . . they can't even act timely to partner with OMEX on their recovery wrecks. Bureau politics rule . . . not Britanic.
OMEX needs to spend some funds on USA elections . . . or else do not trust USA to stick up for you against a trading alliance foreign government.
Want to recover national rights cargo from the depths . . . make a pac beforehand . . . and have their government advisors/navy/armed forces right there along side to observe, document, and consult on the findings? Make friends smile!
Do not believe all this stuff about USA going to hell . . . our rich and leadership has not wish to join us therein . . . they will pull us through. Wall Street scare tactics . . . so what Dow, etc. drops another X% . . . no one therein wants to end their mighty fine casino ownership position. We have survived everything that has been thrown at us from 1776 to 2008.
OMEX has high probability of its stock price going over $3.75 during 2015 or before, regardless of general market direction.
Current market state is dragging AMD down (for now).
USA government will not allow geopolitics and multi-nationals to destroy AMD. We have the hot chip sets now (price to performance enhancement) . . . we will get business.
Back into AMD @ 3.70 . . . please bring it down more.
Agree with other posters, AMD gets over $5 range by sometime in 2015.
INTC eats corrupted electrons . . . AMD is the better investment potential.
Also INTC McAfee AV sucks. Windows Defender for me. I have W8 touch screen and like it, though its bloated with extras for a guy like me.
Big potential for AMD in cellphone gamer market.
AMD chip multiple level parallel processing, future wave of graphics. With soon AMD new chips coming out . . . Titan Fall VG version for cellphones and tablets will rock. The more world plays mobile low-end $ VGs . . . AMD rises.
The only two reasons I can come up with are (1) they hope to spend a few thousand and use something like a promo paid service to try and again get newbie retail investors into the stock, and (2) they are scared of a retail investor class action lawsuit.
If (1) reason, how could ATIG be promoted as anything close to a reasonable investment for newbies, without some kind of active casino partner (though ATIG could use their active (?) internet online 'play-for-free' site as a catalyst for 'investment' potential?
If (2), the new rules for pink sheet and OTC could be an impediment to SEC, etc. allowing use of ATIG name plate? Technically, ATIG is still in a 'freeze'. Government does not do a freeze (or your stock trading house), without doubts about their legality position in relationship to allowing ATIG to trade through them, as a way to cover their own in-house investor account liabilities.
ATIG management is either very lacking in skill, or . . . ?
Either way . . . no one now wants anything to do with them or their product?
My feeling is there is no one in retail ATIG that trusts ATIG to again be an investor. If ATIG were run by alcoholics or drug abusers . . . at least one could understand their business sensibility potential. Moral integrity seemingly has no place in stock investment nor free enterprise . . . what a sad statement for USA future. The shining city on the hill, is smoke-and-mirrors?
Have just been reading board from time to time.
I see by PR that management has chosen to award their bonuses based on stock price performance.
Anything else I missed? Mojo is now selling for $199.99. Any word on 4D head sets user experiences? Is next earnings call in May? Good luck to all investors . . . I still hold me shares.
I looked the stock and company over and VERY little info on employee numbers, revenues, sales volume (company has been in action for say 20 years). Fox Conn (big cellphone assembler) has come to Canada . . . . might it be HPNN's 'partner'?
No evidence anyone big in stock trading has any interest in HPNN.
That is telling . . . and Rah-Ha!! statements hardly bring in above average investors.
Lots of claims HPNN is major player in electronics industry . . . but no GE type rating. sounds like HPNN just extended its debt into the future and has financing dreams.
They play a great game of stating they have 4 company segments in hot new areas, but no evidence to back it up. Letters-of-intent . . . so? MSFT gets a little intellectual property safety, at low cost.
Company website offers next to nothing in info on its products.
Company is well kept 'secret'.
Thanks for the reply, I do not expect everyone to think like I do sometimes. Its a democracy of voters and investors.
I am wondering how the coming fall elections will play out for HL stock price. both parties are going to need to have some physical asset jobs for USA citizens. What I see is this lack of focus on domestic needs and problems. For example, infrastructure (whether its the electronic cloud or pothole filling road work), is sitting there earnestly needing some funding, to create USA JOBS! . . . not stuff for other countries. Its getting way close to the point where politicos should start signing work projects vouchers (instead of just mere food stamps and medical benefits)?
Whatever is mandated as 'work projects' to create USA jobs and taxes, benefits HL commodities production mix . . . forget the damn drones that crash regularly enough and lets get folks working for wages again? Drones do not repair roads nor build anything humans can use and enjoy.
I doubt many of us are going to be happy to vote for those that keep focusing overseas (on export jobs that benefit other countries), while our cities are decaying and thus reducing the
quality of our domestic life's?
OT: What the H is wrong with our government that they do not begin immediately building a secure underground storage facility, for nuclear wastes and toxic materials? This would be a great burden off the citizens and businesses heads (and bodies), and get the basic problem solved? This would be a great benefit to all of us.
Lots of job contracts right at home therein, and actually getting a cleaner country and world to boot. Our country is walking backwards into the future.
Wonder if HL should get into graphite deposits (to go along with its copper) . . . looking like big future industry for North America?
If they 'pump' the stock market more, I guess HL goes up?
I may have to buy in soon. If the pump up keeps going, HL has potential to reach between $4-5 towards fall? Technically, we seem to have before our eyes, a slow ascending wedge formation.
There is doubt the world economy (and ours and Russia), can afford a war right now The above said, when really was the time anyone passed up a war for financing? A wealthy and very intelligent teacher once told our class, no one knows how to run an economy without a war. War today is economical in nature, predominantly.
What does this have to do with HL?
All the wars have never really been announced beforehand.
We are in WWIII right now. Its slow and steady.
We are told PMs should be bot RIGHT NOW!
But the truth is the world due to declining economies (more births means less resources for each), is flooded with PMs stocks; that are not being put to use. PMs are the 'bank' of the poor folk all over this planet . . . and they are accumulating . . . not selling.
Thus, huge players are calling the shots.
Note even with impending threat of NG cutoff to EU from Russia, Russia cannot afford to stop receiving the EU Gas and Oil purchases (which keep its economy and slow military buildup going).
Ups and downs of HL stock price present themselves, contrary to expected market psychology effect . . . none of us can explain why . . . yes we are being 'played'. I personally, cannot play short-term HL movements, I just have to wait and see how much 'they' will bring down HL stock price. Maybe another day of opening drop of .05-.10 cents or several days or weeks of slow descend hidden in the daily ups and down trade range.
Ever indication of HL possibilities is dependent on restarting USA and world economies (through demand for all metals and energy), and we see no evidence of actual long term economic start-up?
Without jobs and wage and business taxes, how do we restart buying and selling faith? FED QEs simply means the USA is largely a electronic screen economy. Most of us cannot seemingly continue to survive in such a gambling/gaming economy? Who will produce without the government mandating purchasing via centralized oversight and control? Deficit spending (loaded to off-books accounting) is waht we are stuck with? No jobs, no way to get work.
My play is to buy HL as low as is gets . . . knowing that eventually commodities that it mines . . . will be used for whatever. Then, sell when things get too good. Best of luck figuring that timing out. All the professionals and money and insider seats at the table, are in the next room and we do not have a seat there.
I guess what I am saying, is this a nightmare for GE Public Relations?
I have tried to follow the discourse, and only thing I hear for Japanese event, was maybe an attempt to 'freeze cold' the ground, as a way to stop water flo off leakage effects. Sounds costly and fragile.
Are we stuck all over the world, just entombing 'spent' reactors in place? This is kind of what happens to hazardous waste from old factories, that no one wants to remediate, they just fence them off and maybe pour some cement over-cap. This is starting to sound like Exide battery plants no one wants.
Does not each nuclear plant site have a DOE EPA disposal plan?
Everyone has been building these nuclear power plants (disregard the miliatry production sites) since the 1940's and 1950's , Da!
Sounds like Planet of The Apes Sci-Fi stuff. They train them MBAs real good, right? Off-the-books legal-sea for what company?
Is this good will en-tree accounting?
Excellent replies!
I am not a nuclear knowledge person.
You are saying the nuclear radiation releases are not core break down seal involved? Then, only the spent rods are the real danger (if they come together)? Then there is no real radiation danger coming from the plant site? That's good to know.
In some of the alternative lay press, it sounds like a 100 year assault on the planetary eco-system.
I just do not understand why it is so difficult to dispose of nuclear waste in a sealed deep underground facility. Such a facility in action, would alleviate much of the public fear of nuclear energy in our national energy independence program. Put it on government controlled land, in a basalt rock formation (costly to drill and prepare . . . but worth the effort).
Further question, if anyone cares to answer: why has not GE gone into solar cell install program like SCTY, that installs and leases home and business solar rooftop, etc. space and then gives dwelling owner some monthly relief some electric bills? This seems like a very suitable way to upgrade the energy grid, and create domestic USA jobs and taxes while achieving USA increase in energy independence. Was not GE working on producing roofing tile that includes solar cell energy production inclusion? On new construction . . . that looks like a way to make $$s and reduce government energy policy interference . . . at the same time promoting local self-reliance in emergency conditions like storms and quake damage to grids. BAC has done some promotion of this idea as a private bank way of getting QE funding to work, nd create new USA employment. Why not keep GE Credit Banking and go the same route?
Maybe, also, GE should look into taking over a window manufacturer and doing research to incorporate transparent solar cells into the window glass? Multi pane glass windows are one of the quick way to increase building energy use efficiency.
That is the whole problem with the QEs from the FED . . . the banks have not made an active effort to create profits that exceed the T-Bill interest yield. GE could be a major player in this type of banking, if they wanted to. Insure the installs and also install them? What's not to like? 'I love the smell of Green Money in the morning!', particularly when its a physical capital producing asset, one can also get a tax-credit for. Stimulate the economy and business AND upgrade the grid and national emergency readiness.
The artl. is under courthousenews.com/2014/03/12/6605 htm . . . I think that should get anyone there.
Not sure what model of GE reactor was installed (maybe first or second generation design update). Also, its the same general design as that in nuclear subs?
It may be possible that the USA courts lawsuit (2st has Japanese and American partners working jointly to serve), could be either taxi chaser lawyers, or attempt to get judgment from USA courts (either way verdit) and use that results as step to Japanese courts action.
The lawsuit mentions GE was negligent in not conducting proper reactor inspections, as one of its points. This would seem strange . . . as careful records are kept of such things.
This might be way of finding ou by legal discovery if Japanese-based GE reactor was 'long-in-the-too'. situation and should have been close to 'retirement' If so, nuclear programs are going to come under public inquiry and governments, etc. will have sunlight in their dark closets.
It will be interesting to watch and see if GE settles out-of-court, or if consumer-green groups and organizations enter 'friendly briefs'.
Personally, I do see some evidence that GE should never had allowed the reactor sea barrier to be built as it was, that additional backups to emergency power sources should have been included in the contract, GE did bad by allowing spent nuclear rods to be stored as they were [ spent nuclear rods should be encased in metallic cooled chambers with monitors on quick movement mobile trailers accessible via robotic operators ], and lastly: GE never formed a private/public action funded program to plan and operate immediate disposal of nuclear wastes in deep underground containment. To this day, everyone involved with nuclear waste has looked the other way. What is strange (to me) is that no one involved, at least required the so stored spend nuclear fuel rods, to have an attached double set of emergency recovery cables, anchored outside the pools and readily accessible to robotic cranes. Nuclear waste containment accidents do not go way . . . just because of community insurance policies and walking backwards into the future.
We see this failing of human reasoning and business/operations practices, repeatedly in human activities . . . witness BP Spill and Space Shuttle Tiles 'problems'. Its a little late to go see Judge Judy for an ass spanking, when we did not have logical scientific and commerce practices?
This is a bad on GE public relations and marketing: we are not selling one-shot products herein like ice-boxes, etc. A company that works with high-level and dangerous tech repeatedly , should have a better community perception plan than 'We were there . . . but we didn't do it!'? Such type of 'problems' affect the public perception of nuclear power, as a viable present and future energy independence plan component.
Apparently, the Japanese are looking for answers beyond 'An act-of-nature' . . . they are keen to have democratic resolution?
We shall see . . . maybe it will all just blow away.
Did anyone note 2 Japanese class action law suit against Ge (by private parties, not Japanese government), against GE in size of several million per individual suffering loses of all nature from reactor incident? Who would pay for 'internatinal cliams' against nuclear power 'shortfalls'? Artl. stated loss claims would exceed value of GE assets in stock price value estimation. Oh . . . Mr. Obomb . . . will the tax payers backup GE international 'game' loses?
To my limited knowledge prespective, one would have to contact ATIG directly (by mail?) and request your shares authorization as paper certificates or signed over reimbursement check. who would decide the current value of ATIG shares? In my guess, the ATIG shares would hardly be worth more than a few cents each, and most retail investors of record would have already 'fled' at a loss or written them off as 'worthless stock' tax-wise.
Anyone of interest, might be able to call company and hope they would give names and addresses of contact, for other present holding retail investors that would be willing to buy or sell shares of ATIG? Legally, though, ATIG might not want to do that, for a number of reasons. Freeze was to come off . . . before April-June, 2014 time frame? Did I remember (perhaps vaguely) that the immediate above info, was stated in a very recent press release?
thanks for info!
I always stop back to see if my shares are still worthless.
You do not get a freeze or global lock unless serious legal issues are involved.
Wonder who is paying the legal fees? I wonder . . . .
ATIG has no real chance as others with money and R&D and 'partners' pas them bye-bye? Just my ignorant opinion only.
Perhaps a native casino 'might' buy the online system ATIG has at present?
?The sophication of present and soon-to-be online gaming/gambling systems will negate ATIG to historical presence? Even EA and twto(? symbol?) are facing huge development and marketing costs incurred.
Titan Fall is huge and better be: Titan Fall may evolve into paying for add-ons and in game paid gambling option against other players?
Tremendous Graphics and story and characters.
ATIG is back in early 2000s tech.
No one wants to keep pulling imaginery machine spins, in my estimation.
I could be wrong as grandma and welfare queens and kings may be right into it? Younger gamblers want action-jack-son in their game experience? ATIG is back in time wrap trap tech.
I think your strategy is good.
I will consider starting a position again soon.
You are correct in considering HL strictly from other metals (besides PMs) view.
No telling what the nearly 52 week high of the stock market figures in all this. I had thought HL would fall back somewhat due to possible 'follow-along effect' of market direction.
The important thing is that with HL, you have it both ways . . . crisis effect of PMs store . . . and additional metals price up turn if dumb-dumbs decide to start up USA economy. We are in deep trouble when we face defense cuts (if real), to help trim our overseas adventures caused deficits. Example: F-35 (LMT) buy cut-backs: F-35 is like BA jet-airliner nightmares . . . both too advanced programs to jump all in right now. Carbon-nano tech metals mix will be the future, so I guess they thought they could jump a generation ahead. Both programs open-sourcing of 'parts', etc. from multiple overseas vendors . . . nice for spies to get free tech from USA tax-payers. Maybe USA should make a comedy movie or two about it . . . at least make some money back?
Lucky Friday output comes into inventory might just be the jump-starter later this year and in 2015, for steady hedge funds investing in HL? Easy $5 Hl price push up?
Nice find.
I also believe silver will be a major commodity industrially.
Go ask your computer tech if your silver CPU backup battery in your computer of choice, needs replacing. Mine told me not over the lifetime of your computer.
Silver will keep becoming more useful in medical antibiotic field to KILL new antibiotic resistance diseases and for surface skin infections. All those billions spend each year for research and injections, etc. and maybe the pharma companies wil end up holding most of PMs inventory, they can get their cold hands on. We may all end up with the 'silver shine look'?
The future of defense (or is it offense?) is to be highly electronic. PMs front and center! Drones and robots and high tech systems. You cannot even fly a weapon-ized vehicle today, without computers (human cannot act fast enough to stabilize aircraft in flight and under high G-force loads).
Silver is used in water purification systems . . . doubt most want to drink the back waters from cities or industries.
PMs content in your auto goes up each year.
Soon remote controlled robots will do our mining deep underground, due to safety and environmental needs. Mining drones and robotic operators will take over jobs, and human miners will be in space suits underground. At 1+ mile depth and going ever lower . . . it is very toiling on workers facing heat, dust, stress cracking, and other forms of danger. Miners should be getting combat danger zone pay and we should be more than gald to pay it.
Lithium ion batteries are not all they are cracked up to be (pun intended) . . . anyone know where all that used lithium will go . . . lets not hope we can just drop it in the ocean deep after midnight outside official territorial waters. How's those plastic islands working for everyone? Rumored commerical, fishing, and military vessels going around them . . . a new Great Circle Route? Props and rudders, etc. can get tangled in plastic tailings.
The geek idiots (and their bosses) know better . . . but if other nations do it . . . why not us too? Want lithium concentrates anywhere near your drinking water . . here's a clue its a highly toxic med and patients need to be actively monitored as to its blood levels. Lithium dumps get mixed with water and air . . . hello new yellow stone park!
8+ billion folk and rising and most want industrialization products . . . forget silver coins and lip pins . . . everyone will be buying and wearing silver-use body electronics and your household appliance hoard, etc. will be your PMs stack. Resource wars coming up!
Some of you might think I am all wet on my comments . . . but I will invest on them {Jeep's its terrible to be so alone! :)]
Keep dropping the HL stock price, I will buy back in.
As far as technicals having no bearing on anything stock market anymore . . . I note the daily HL stock price keeps seeming to settle in its mid-range from its daily travel range. Nasty old charts basing themselves on price and volume. The Moving averages still speak their value judgment, as does the 52 week high and low. If fundamentals like management skill and revenue (if any) do not bespeak and have a chart face effect, do we just invest by flipping the coin . . . buy or sell or hold?
Those geekers and computers did one great job making BA new jetliner wings, etc. Sly-net . . . you can trust us to watch over you.
OT: liking my PM investment in OMEX so far.
Not a recommendation ^.
I believe in HL, but was too pig-brained to follow my instincts and should have bot HL very near its 52-week low. Just please bring it a little lower and I will get some for the ride up the PMs/$ mess slope.
I have invested in OMEX on and off.
Extremely disappointing that Spain (the robber of central and south america), was allowed to take possession of Florida USA held PMs cargo recovered. And . . . Spain (which they were unable to do technically) had not the courtesy to pay OMEX handsomely for cargo recovery. Further, why was not country(s) of original origin con-tacted (at least) to support OMEX case of USA recovery) with their legal claim to THEIR PMS looted by Spain chartered imperialists?
do not understand South America just sitting back and letting Spain take their resources (as recovered by OMEX), from their possession again . . . in modern times. In my opinion, OMEX did error by not having Americas country-of-origin take diplomatic and legal actions against Spain, and taking legal and diplomatic sanctions against Spain. If OMEX were more proactive in getting military and scientific and cultural and political assistance from original origin nations involved with the treasury recoveries, I should think they will get more favorable awards from their salvages?
By-the-way . . . who actually has historic claim to Columbia Ship cargo? Was it USA registered vessel, at the time of its lost? If so, let us 'hope-and-change' will back OMEX this time?
I would like to see OMEX get up to near 5$ or so, if recovery is fruitful. Would that be wild expectation?
Anyone care to comment . . . and my I cannot spell this morning!
And, I had no rum ration!
The path of HL stock seemingly is now disconnected from price of PMs. This hardly makes sense (to me). Does it show the extent to which the Big Boys are setting the agenda, for us? I do not fault you for picking up more HL stock, its just a flip of the coin . . . which way to invest for folks [short or long] to come out smiles.
I would think one should set a ratio of options buys to cover your bet?
Kerry has not backed off sanctions on Russia.
Article I read stated Russia could sell their T-Bills now and force others to follow the effect on the USA dollar. Russian Ruble would suffer also drop in value, along side the $. Doubt China and Japan and Saudis would like that situation (and EU including England).
Big changes just around the corner? I doubt Russia will go gently into the night. I am out of HL right now (I do not short), nor do options.
OT: I did buy some OMEX based on 2+ recovery projects underway very soon: stock price rising slowly from 52 week low. Gold bars and gold coinage and movie rights to come from these projects and OMEX has big recovery contract now on 8500 foot depth recovery project off USA coast. Spain and England . . . eat your hearts out . . . you back-riding thugs that get someone else to do the work and then you step in with maritime claim to salvage. USA government . . . support USA business with legal recover contract from Ohio courts and previous 1980s era lst effort results, USA recovery parties involved.
Lots of tax monies for others around the world . . . but sit and let USA collapse without jobs programs that rebuilt our infrastructure with investment within our borders (not theirs).
They know fully well that USA unemployed in cities can't grow their own food in deep snow, nor hardly get to employment offices.
Probably a good point.
The Ukraine effect is folding down the stock market right now . . . I is watching for new purchase.
Believe in the future . . . buy the present gifting.
Quarterly revs seem destine to follow the console growth coming in next few years (PS4 looks set to out do Xbox One sales).
Oh . . . bye-the-way . . . FoxConn (large Asian mobile device assembler) . . . is moving plant into Canada (Free Trade border walk across) . . . wonder what that says for future of gaming/gambling mobile?
Great find!
This is interesting to all stock holders looking for future value: push chip sales by showing an example of what chips can do for gaming. The tablet shown seems to have an action dock along side it (maybe the tablet is in it?), and could allow mobile paid gaming (as well as free-ium games that have buy-add-ons and in-game ads revenue).
OT slightly: check out MOJO by MCZ and its dawning mobile gaming system. Pay to play (and prizes to win) is going to be big thing growing as a new chip market. Stay-at-home gamblers also can afford such an active and advanced tablet (that could provide physical 'pulls' sensation SW on the rim of the tablet). What's not to like grandma, and all?
Go AMD! Knock their socks off!
Talk to some casinos AMD . . . and show your chip stuff.
Would one not imagine casino owners and companies (and government tax) revenue increases, from sports betting mobile online?
I have a 10 inch tablet and can use my fingers to magnify real easy. Check out beta of TitanFall game . . . its like watching and playing in your own special movie . . . at the same time. Super graphics and story line and you team with other player-watchers. AMD super chips could bring it into 3-D visuals.
Oh . . . and keep dropping the AMD stock price . . . minimum someone steps up and partners or buyout.
