Agreed.

These mining closures were unfortunate, it in the type of activity they do . . . can't always be stopped. It takes a brave individual to go down knowing what can (and will) happen down there. Example: stress fractures after drilling and blasting with the rock formations and overhead ground load.

Does HL carry its own insurance in-company?
Of course, federal disability and death payments are provided, but hardly enough to keep a family going afterwards.
