There is doubt the world economy (and ours and Russia), can afford a war right now The above said, when really was the time anyone passed up a war for financing? A wealthy and very intelligent teacher once told our class, no one knows how to run an economy without a war. War today is economical in nature, predominantly.
What does this have to do with HL?

All the wars have never really been announced beforehand.
We are in WWIII right now. Its slow and steady.

We are told PMs should be bot RIGHT NOW!
But the truth is the world due to declining economies (more births means less resources for each), is flooded with PMs stocks; that are not being put to use. PMs are the 'bank' of the poor folk all over this planet . . . and they are accumulating . . . not selling.

Thus, huge players are calling the shots.
Note even with impending threat of NG cutoff to EU from Russia, Russia cannot afford to stop receiving the EU Gas and Oil purchases (which keep its economy and slow military buildup going).

Ups and downs of HL stock price present themselves, contrary to expected market psychology effect . . . none of us can explain why . . . yes we are being 'played'. I personally, cannot play short-term HL movements, I just have to wait and see how much 'they' will bring down HL stock price. Maybe another day of opening drop of .05-.10 cents or several days or weeks of slow descend hidden in the daily ups and down trade range.

Ever indication of HL possibilities is dependent on restarting USA and world economies (through demand for all metals and energy), and we see no evidence of actual long term economic start-up?
Without jobs and wage and business taxes, how do we restart buying and selling faith? FED QEs simply means the USA is largely a electronic screen economy. Most of us cannot seemingly continue to survive in such a gambling/gaming economy? Who will produce without the government mandating purchasing via centralized oversight and control? Deficit spending (loaded to off-books accounting) is waht we are stuck with? No jobs, no way to get work.

My play is to buy HL as low as is gets . . . knowing that eventually commodities that it mines . . . will be used for whatever. Then, sell when things get too good. Best of luck figuring that timing out. All the professionals and money and insider seats at the table, are in the next room and we do not have a seat there.
