5 They hatch vipers’ eggs and weave the spider’s web;
He who eats of their eggs dies,
And from that which is crushed a viper breaks out.
ONE FLAG, ONE LANGUAGE..
Subject: Fw: BONDO
The teacher said, "Let's begin by reviewing some American History.
Who said 'Give me Liberty , or give me Death'?"
She saw a sea of blank faces, except for Little Bondo, who had his hand up: 'Patrick Henry, 1775' he said.
'Very good!'
Who said 'Government of the People, by the People, for the People, shall not perish from the Earth?'
Again, no response except from Little Bondo, 'Abraham Lincoln, 1863'.
The teacher snapped at the class, 'Class, you should be ashamed; Little Bondo knows more about history than you do.'
She heard a loud whisper: 'F*** the Indians,'
'Who said that?' she demanded.
Little Bondo put his hand up, 'General Custer, 1862.'
At that point, a student in the back said, 'I'm gonna puke.'
The teacher glares around and asks 'All right!!! Now who said that!?'
Again, Little Bondo says, 'George Bush to the Japanese Prime Minister, 1991.'
Now furious, another student yells, 'Oh yeah? Suck this!'
Little Bondo jumps out of his chair waving his hand and shouts to the teacher , 'Bill Clinton, to Monica Lewinsky, 1997!'
Now with almost mob hysteria someone said 'You little shit. If you say anything else, I'll kill you.'
Little Bondo frantically yells at the top of his voice, ' Michael Jackson to the child witnesses testifying against him- 2004.'
The teacher fainted.
And as the class gathered around the teacher on the floor, someone said, 'Oh shit, we're screwed!'
Little Bondo said quietly, "The American people, November 4, 2008 ."

Citigroup (C) Sells Nikko Asset to Sumitomo Trust for $795 Million
By Finbarr Flynn and Takahiko Hyuga
July 30 (Bloomberg) -- Citigroup Inc. agreed to sell its Japanese asset management unit to Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Japan’s fifth-largest bank, for 75.6 billion yen ($795 million), as the bank divests assets to pay back the U.S. government.
Sumitomo Trust will buy Citigroup’s 64 percent stake in Nikko Asset Management Co. in October, the Osaka-based lender said in a statement today. The agreement values the whole firm at about 120 billion yen, New York-based Citigroup said.
Citigroup Chief Executive Officer Vikram Pandit is reversing the bank’s expansion in Japan less than two years after it completed the 1.6 trillion yen acquisition of Nikko Cordial Corp., the country’s third-largest securities firm. Pandit has sold assets, including the bank’s stake in the Smith Barney brokerage unit, and cut jobs after writedowns and loan losses led the bank to seek $45 billion of government money.
“The faster they can sell off their non-core assets and focus on core banking operations, the better,” said Richard Staite, a banking analyst at Atlantic Equities LLP in London. “Many investors see Citigroup as being too big and too diverse. They want to see the bank focus on core banking operations.”
Citigroup traded at $3.21 in Germany today, down from its $3.22 close in New York yesterday.
The bank agreed in May to sell its Japanese brokerage unit, Nikko Cordial Securities Inc., and the underwriting divisions of Nikko Citigroup Ltd. to Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. for 545 billion yen. This month, it agreed to sell NikkoCiti Trust and Banking Corp. for 19 billion yen to Nomura Holdings Inc., Japan’s largest brokerage.
Sumitomo Trust
Sumitomo Trust will consider selling a stake in Nikko Asset Management to rival Sumitomo Mitsui, Tetsuo Ohkubo, an executive director at Sumitomo Trust, told reporters in Tokyo today. The Nikko Cordial business that Sumitomo Mitsui is buying is the largest seller of Nikko Asset Management’s funds, he said.
Citigroup, which is focusing on its main banking business in Japan after the sales, was ordered in June by Japan’s financial regulator to suspend marketing banking services to individuals between July 15 and Aug. 14 after failing to implement controls against money laundering.
Pandit, speaking in Kuala Lumpur today before the deal was announced, said Citigroup is moving “extremely fast” on asset sales. The bank has pared assets by almost 25 percent, and has reduced its risk by “more than that,” Pandit said. He credited the sales with helping Citigroup post profits for the first two quarters of this year.
‘Moving Extremely Fast’
“We created and set targets for Citi in terms of asset reductions, in terms of risk reduction, in terms of cost reduction, and we have met every target and we met them on time, as well,” he said. “We’re actually moving extremely fast.”
The bank posted a $4.28 billion profit for the second quarter on July 17, helped by a $6.7 billion gain from the sale of its Smith Barney brokerage unit. Once the largest U.S. bank by assets, Citigroup now ranks third after Bank of America Corp. and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Pandit, 52, reaffirmed his focus on emerging markets today, and said he expects profitability in the Asia-Pacific region, home to China and India, to increase. The executive said in June that Citicorp, Citigroup’s biggest division by revenue, will derive half of its future business from emerging markets.
“We are one of the largest players in the emerging markets,’ Pandit said. “And these are markets that are likely to grow pretty well over the next so many years.”

Good MOOrnin' MOOvers!..all have a GREEN$$ DAY!
think I'll stick back a little Citigroup here..
they impressed me the other day..
long story short, I got a huge check in mail and took
it to SunTrust (been with them 15 years) which they said I could deposit it because it
appeared to be authentic..but rather than signing and
depositing it (figuring it might be some kind of scam out of Nigeria or somewhere) I took
it to CitiFinancial (an arm of Citigroup) and it took them awhile but they determined that their new secret recipe special metal impregnated black ink they use in prinitng 'official checks' was not there, to whit, it was a counterfeit check, even though endorsement on front was a 'perfect' fake sig also.
I let them keep the un-signed check so they can track down
the culprits and they thanked me alot for bringing
it in to them.
To whit, I think C is trying very hard (security-wise and other wise to get back on track
and hopefully much upside to come...fwiw, here's pic of check..
looks real but they caught it and probably saved me a lot of trouble and hardship.
back in the day, I had a '70 orange RoadRunner with the flip the switch hood scoop that raised up..it was only a 383 Magnum but I put a 393 positive-trac chunk in it and for racing red light to redlight on crusing strip on Brainerd Rd. in Chattanooga, it was real good coming outta the hole but not so hot on top end..
My elderly mom and dad have some pics of me and my old
cars packed away somewhere..I'll get them to hunt them up and take pictures of pictures..and post them.
69 Mach I..all stock except for new Holley and exhaust system..
70 RoadRunner
66 Mustang with $1200 of performance parts in a 289 engine
uh, lemme think..oh, a white 57 Chevy with a 396 4 speed with headers and other goodies but I kept twisting drive shafts out..
a '65? Falcon with a 302 and 4 speed..it would run good but Charlie Moore put a 351 in his so I couldn't do nothing with him...had a another one or two seems like, but got married, had kids and it's been Pinto's, Mavericks and in general, down hill since then..lol..
a STOP sign in my day meant...SPIN TIRES ON PAVEMENT..lol..
nothing like the smell of burning rubber in the morning, evening or night..lol..
which again reminds me, every time I got into the Mach 1 a lil bit, the back seat area would fill up with tire smoke..lol..there would be a blue cloud back there..
aw, them were the good ol days..
Later!

Me and the deceased Ronnie Sr. knew each other well in late 60's..first time I was ever shown 140mph was in his dark green Dodge Charger Hemi 6 pack..
