CBS 60 Minutes has story tonight on BP settlement...
They accepted a deal that said if they had losses that year and then made money the next year... the administrator paid the claim as per agreement even though sign off says spill... and lawyers ran TV ads about not even having to have your loss related to the spill in order to get settlement.
BP has asked for another hearing.
========
Personally... the lawyers PR ad move probably influenced the administrator to pay any claim of loss the profit...
Paul McCartney could take Band on the Run song and modify it to "Eyes on the Go" (same tune of "Band on the Run")... it'd make a nice gingle... but the problem is its gander.tv... Eeeek!
140 mil BABA to sell and 800 mil O/S YHOO is what Ken said in Wed. Q&A ... so maybe he forgot they lowered the amount of shares to sell or whatever the 120+ come from... and the number of shares outstanding now with the buybacks has some in violation of failure to report 5% ownership... bet you many.. not just one...
So market cap should be 31 bil from Friday reg. close not the 39 bil thought... I started to listen and tuned out and ended up watching TV, must've been exciting Q and A session...
Call the SEC and ask for an accounting of those in violation... lol... Oh, yeah... Zacks will do that so they'll dump on their strong sell rating... lol ... if you have more than 39 mil shares in your control you need to have a form 4 filed as to your ownership and intent of such.... VIOLATORS... lol
CNBC just rptd Morgan Stanley (merged Smith Barney, merged Dean Witter Reynolds) put a $100 price target on it...
They came through with no BS on exporting NG overseas (maybe, unless they're still BS'ing with the fact this new customer dreams of it but may not really want to make it happen... nah... looking costly... like is UBRG going to be like WorldCom and never make a profit and trade at 60.00+... lol... I wouldn't doubt it trading in the pennies again by November.... okay... talking about dreaming... lol
If they were even close to a profit they would've said.... maybe next quarter... how many quarters in a silver dollar... oh, but maybe they think in bits (2 bits one quarter... the silver dollar was chopped into 8's with big blade and thus the term 2 bits (being a quarter)... lol
2 bits a share anyone guess when?
Thanks for the early heads up... odd that someone dumped at early open too.... lol, wonder if they bought back. 1mil @.0009 900 bucks (USD)
Notes for funds that can
CNBC has an options trading time, seems like the first 30 minutes of the last hour (the hour before MadMoney, and sometimes on morning show...) You should be able to find at http://www.cnbc.com/id/28282083 its Called Options Action (and online if work during live show).
I don't know... military deal changes things... they are a big word-of-mouth group and when the latch on to a new company that they may make retirement money on they jump in.
We need to know what the brass say a parties as to buy and when the regulars receive orders to use RadioShack (once they have to use, it'll spike up again, if not already).
It could be at low already, in other words... I'm waiting until I go back to redo my Net10 renewal to check on store again... lol
Thanks wilma6311... had BP on the brain all day since early this morning when I read about them being in a deal with Russian/Russia for a $61 billion judgement against them... and another private deal is stalled (worried that their Partner BP was paying it until this Russian thing) ... lol ... so my mind plopped in BP (I guess).
Yeah and don't forget that post/find that someone pointed out Nicole was the BP contact for NG sales somewhere in NE. Seems like they just put the link and didn't say much.
Was tracking down posts of others... and OOIL (or one that I looked at) did something on filtering the fracking water making it suitable for agriculture irrigation ...
Seems like GasFrac would be ideal already for NE like PA... In Texas why bother until they become more strict. But its like depending on legislation for company success (banning frac fluids in laws recently tried, i.e.)
That's true... Zack's is off in some fantasy world... Look at Yahoo the stock went up to 38 and the restated their (only analyst on earth) strong sell rating... now today its above 39 and they put out a PR about Bear of the Day (Friday)...
No, I've been renewing my Net10 there since I got the phone at one of the branches, I'm a loyal customer, I like to go to stores and see the product. About two Christmas' ago, battery pack of 40 AA... and I have no position in RSH yet... was waiting to see the Fall lineup of new products... almost bought at .70 after seeing Beats in store, but didn't and now I'm like... they tried to help but I was unmoveable... I did think it would go above 1.00 before deadline of delist but time was in favor so wasn't rushing... lol... the finance help obviously came for the Military phone deal.
Now if BlackBerry makes a deal with RadioShack ... I'm going to hate not owning both again (burned on both by not acting).
Circuit City went bankrupt because they self insured their electronic replacement repair plans and when one bought the phone or PC their they sells-associates would tell you how you buy the plan and drop it or whatever and get a newer version for free... It wasn't because they didn't have customers.
I saw the Beats headphones at our RadioShack last month (the deal where Apple acquired for 2-3 billion... Now that could do them in, is anyone buying those big bulky things? What's the demand for blocking other noise out? I complained when the thin, light ones came out but now as children are on their own I just turn TV down while listening to Coast To Coast AM Radio show.... I wouldn't buy a Beats headphone... but who knows what Hannakka Harry or ole Saint Nick will bring... lol
I saw a MajicJack TV ad on TV Land watching Beverly Hillbillies yesterday a few hours worth of show... on ad but ends with telling you to go to RadioShack to get it (what ever it is, something to do with free phone something)....
Has proved reserves doubled since April? Just now looking at Rages to Riches for the the last month and you said on 7/23 should be higher... but on 4/22 PR
Who'll check with Nevada Sec. of itself on whether they got an update on board and license late Friday and haven't updated it yet?
Treaty Energy - Neveda SOS
Also, Hess did seismic already in Northern LaSalle, Southern Frio so one should be able to buy the data without waiting for access rights and damages for seismic.
And... that area had a couple of booms, early 80's and 90's in Austin Ch. (80's ver., 90's hor.) and I remember 80's there was a layer of hard rock to punch through that took longer than expected... (which reminds me of the current boom around Big Spring, is they used frac acid to punch through extremely hard rock to get deeper and found big oil deposits (conv. store clerk told the story).
Anyway that could block any good seismic data, depending on the freq. used.
It was a pun on E on TECOE ...
but in reality Sanchez bought Hess' acreage dropped the ones to the North of their development and some have not been signed up on renewal of the expired leases.
Also, some never signed 4 years ago, due to so many relatives not agreeing to price/acerage (and missed the boat (now half to 1/3 to worse a year ago to get a lease).
So yes there is acreage in Southern Frio next to LaSalle solidly in the Eagleford oil window. I believe according to the map, Sanchez is in the liquids rich window of NG.
Hess were only getting 400-600/day wells which wasn't enough for them. But I know Chesaepeake keeps drilling in Northern LaSalle right next to Frio... hmmm, so problem landowners, unpopular Southern Frio west of Dilley... still exist for sure...
My guess all along is M. Son cashing some out (or his controled holdings) for buying BABA IPO (that and could be depressed at possible patent infringments at Sprint and T-mobile (found semi-white knight in French firm wanting T-mobile) but SPEX patent collecting could be the other reason - why else did he aboutface on merging with T-Mobile? Feds always were against him)....
They getting some Eagleford leases too? Eeehhhaaaaa!
Well, whether private or not, it went up and now is almost doubled from your post... Looks to me it headed for double digits if stays public but with goal of reinstating dividends a this price it should be okay as private (you think?).
Solomon Ali must be well now... check this post out about him
RSH post that he was going to buy 5% of stock
Going private? Sanchez Production Partners LP (“Sanchez LP”) or will we still trade? Mess up my brokerage account if private...
There just seems to be too many shares traded for the A/S, O/S of this company... The market makers must be going belly-up on this one... (or is this like a pink and share dumping - I don't think that's the case - lol, this share price is a joke ... way too low)
Just thinking yesterday that $BBRY should team up with Radio Shack or Best Buy to make their phones available this Holiday season since they're the best phones... and $RSH steals thunder with mobile military service news deal...
Wouldn't be hard to convince the miltary to use the more secure Blackberry... AYE?
That article says 2.99/month ... didn't someone say they signed up for .99 yesterday... that means someone is signing up and rebroadcasting on their web (like a relay, raking in cheaper sign-ups)... it was like two letters a symbol and .co not .com I wasn't about to click on that link...
(may have been afternoon of Tuesday instead of yesterday the .99 sign-up post)
Yesterday in one minute trade window, 26 million worth of Yahoo shares was purchased.... either buyback or buyout or fund invest...
Well, call WSJ (Wall Street Journal) and get them to cover this day's Nash'ing so I can read about it in the morning at Starbucks...
Recent quarter news makes the cube the technology in all these deals, like VoLTE 8/14...
ALU is big, like IBM in the 80's somewhat where there's an ALU office in most big cities. Amarillo, picked up phone book in Spring and ... and then at hotel I was staying at, one with Euro looking truck/van thingy was checking out while I was going in and pointed out amazement of local office and he said yeah lots of people don't realize how big they are.
CNBC pointed out last week (or the one before) that it was a sustained bull market with a lot of cash sitting out on the side already.
For example, they said Burk. Bill. from Ohmaha had 50 billion in cash (pre BK if he moved recently to BK).
So basically there is plenty of cash to absorb Alibaba and IPO's without selling off anything to fund it (it has to do with so many guessing that a crash was due most likely as CNBC has had some nut on since March talking about major crash... and other radio shows since last year... The basics weren't there to justify every attempt to make the crash happen, that's why it didn't happen.)
Of course China could invade Iraq tomorrow and make everything tank except oil and defense stocks (I guess again... lol)
ALU is so big its hard to absorb costs to show much profit ... one analyst still has a $6 target: http://thestockmarketwatch.com/stock/stock-data.aspx?stock=ALU&a=showEarnings
You can drill and hit great reserves all you want but it means nothing without production.
You have to connect your NG to a pipeline and take it to market and sell it. Tired of these penny style dumping news releases. Of course, I haven't checked to see if you've even produced but based on what y'all's IR toldme I doubt it over 50% sure. But since you're drilling y'all must've figured out where you wanted your infrastructure developed, for whatever that is worth.
So maybe Scottrade or TDAmerica has made an offer to make a market in the company again so they restart the website again and trying to get started up again (your post in 2 next)... if they restarted the website as you say...
That was all they needed in order to get trading again (Market Maker to support them).
Isn't Board meeting next week or later in Sept.? Maybe some at Underwood's got wind of a conversation and spent their hard to find capital on a overhear...
Shouldn't be much longer until we know the final additions to board.
16.9 mil @.0017 traded 7 minute till close... your so-called dump was at 2 till and only 1.06 mil @.0016 followed by... 1 mill @.0017 in last minute...
So are you saying 18 million was dumped at market? (...and the last spilled over into next minute?)
If so that next minute was minutes later... lol
I sold my 100 shares because of that brilliant post and now in 3 days can payoff Duke and Duke ... so painful... ARG!
