Also, Hess did seismic already in Northern LaSalle, Southern Frio so one should be able to buy the data without waiting for access rights and damages for seismic.
And... that area had a couple of booms, early 80's and 90's in Austin Ch. (80's ver., 90's hor.) and I remember 80's there was a layer of hard rock to punch through that took longer than expected... (which reminds me of the current boom around Big Spring, is they used frac acid to punch through extremely hard rock to get deeper and found big oil deposits (conv. store clerk told the story).
Anyway that could block any good seismic data, depending on the freq. used.
