Some of the largest gains I've ever experienced were with OTC companies that were non-SEC reporting entities.
Regarding Robert splitting his time between CCI and GRCU, I think that some here are missing a very important point. Think about it this way. Robert Calkin is putting himself out there seeking to provide training on how to operate effectively, safely, and profitably in the cannabis/mj/hemp industry.
If he is unable to built a successful enterprise out of the one publicly traded company that he heads up (Green Cures), he is discrediting his own ability to teach others at his own educational institute.
It would be like a quarterback that can't complete passes, has a high rate of interceptions and sacks, trying to convince others to apply for training at his 'school of exceptional quarterback techniques'.
Robert Calkin's wide scale success of his other business (CCI) is closely tied to proving that he can build a successful and growing business out of Green Cures (GRCU). His interests are ultimately aligned with ours.
As always, simply my opinion.
I would like to suggest we convene a special meeting of shareholders to vote on a measure to have a lojack installed on our CEO, so that we can easily track his every movement.
One thought though. Lojack or no lojack, this stock (GRCU) will soon be exploding to the upside.
As always, simply my opinion.
GRCU
*The absurd suggestion above was only an attempt at humor.
I have been able to confirm that Scottrade currently has no buy or sell restrictions on GTRL. And others here have stated that there are currently no trading issues on GTRL with Etrade, Ameritrade or Schwab.
So if there was a DTC chill in effect in the past for GTRL (not sure that there was), there would seem to be no such DTC issues at present.
Thank you, gwfogre, for providing some reassurance with the photos you shared today with the group. With all of the effort and DD that has been provided by several members of this board, I just wanted to re-post one of my previous posts, for all to read:
--------------------------------------------
Recently I was watching a replay of the 1999 film 'Any Given Sunday'. And what I found most memorable was listening to Al Pacino's inspirational 'inch-by-inch' speech in the locker room. Here's an excerpt from the speech, followed by some of my thoughts on how it relates to Green Cures (GRCU).
One small excerpt goes like this:
'On this team, we fight for that inch.
On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us
to pieces for that inch.
We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch.
Cause we know
when we add up all those inches
that’s going to make the difference
between WINNING and LOSING
between LIVING and DYING'
I know his speech was intended to motivate a team of players to win an important football game. But it clearly applies to so many other situations in life. As I watch the tug-of-war of inches with the GRCU price action during trading the past few weeks, I can't help but think about the importance of fighting for that inch.
And I know that some will undoubtedly think that I've gone off the deep end, but I see several of the posters here as a strong DD (due diligence) team, fighting for that inch, with the big picture in mind. And I believe that it will all pay off in end.
As always, simply my opinion.

I've seen this phenomenon happen more times than I can count. An OTC stock has a massive upward move (such as GRCU had from low trip zeros to .049), and then spends many months after that drifting downward, but finds a new price support significantly higher than the original base. Then the focus is on the drop from the peak, rather than the support at the higher and stronger base.
Perhaps Warren Buffet said it best, when he stated that "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient."
I believe that holding through this painful consolidation period will be well worth the wait. As always, simply my opinion.

I'd prefer the non-cash component of executive compensation to be out-of-the-money call options or leaps. That would ensure that execs strive to continually keep the stock moving in an upward direction.
And I'd have minimum performance metrics (of the type that shareholders seek), before any incentive award would be made in a given period.
I am reminded of a line in Braveheart, spoken by William Wallace. 'You think the people of this country exist to provide you with position. I think your position exists to provide those people with freedom'. Only I'd replace 'freedom' in this case with 'capital/equity appreciation'.
As always, simply my opinion.
CNBC update: CNBC has a correspondent reporting from the cannabis expo... that correspondent just gave an on-air update live from the expo. No mention of Calkin, yet...

Five-log reduction: A measurement of the amount of potentially harmful elements removed from a product. And more specifically, it reduces the number of microorganisms by 100,000 fold.
When Harvest Soul, a subsidiary of Fresh Promise Foods, was recently validated for having achieved 5-log reduction in their soon-to-be-launched chewable juice product line, it was a major milestone, and here is why.
Limited shelf life is one of the biggest challenges in getting mass distribution of fresh organic beverages. And one of reasons why most fresh organic juices have a very limited shelf life, is the pathogens that are present. One way to avoid having a high level of those pathogens is via pasteurization, but that process destroys important vitamins and minerals (and enzymes).
Since HPP is being utilized by Harvest Soul, the consumer gets the benefits of a fresh organic juice product, and the retail store gets the benefits of longer shelf life (reducing their cost because there is less product lost due to expiration). Combine a superior product with the marketing experience that Kevin Quirk got as the head marketing guy for the Minute Maid division of Coca Cola, and (excuse the pun) have a recipe for success.
As always, simply my opinion.
Here's a portion of the recent testing-results related PR:
"Through a series of three independent lab tests, it was confirmed that HPP has met the FDA threshold of a 5-log reduction of all three major pathogens (E.coli O157:H7, Salmonella enterica and Listeria monocytogenes), typically found in organic products like Harvest Soul Organic Chewable Juices. The Company's environmentally-friendly Fressurized (TM) process ensures that their hand-crafted juice blends will retain their "farm-picked" flavor, along with guaranteeing food safety, extending shelf-life and maintaining freshness, all without the use of chemicals or preservatives."
FPFI
When this delicate support-testing dance is over, FPFI will go significantly higher.

I think if you re-read the entire thread, you'll see that you've misinterpreted my point. The point I have made, was that he would not simply hand CCI over to GRCU for free, in reply to this statement from Iglow:
'If Calkin believes in GRCU why not put CCI in the company so that all of his time and resources are devoted to bringing shareholder value to GRCU.'
Notice that Iglow did not suggest an acquisition/purchase of CCI by GRCU. The way it was written, to me that implied simply handing it over. If he meant 'sell', I think he would have said 'sell'.
So my replies were explaining why handing it over, for free, made no sense.
As always simply my opinion.
Watch what happens if/when Robert Calkin does a live interview on CNBC. I know some of you are saying to yourselves, 'That will never happen. CNBC doesn't allow OTC companies to promote themselves on such a prestigious and widely viewed financial network.'
But I would point out that CNBC has made exceptions in the past. One such example was an OTC supplement company interviewed on CNBC live by Maria Bartiromo. CNBC chose to do that on-air interview because Tiger Woods became associated with that company, and CNBC knew that the interview would be good for ratings. Below is an image of that interview, with the OTC CEO and Tiger.
So what would be the angle for CNBC to conduct an on-air interview with Green Cures CEO Robert Calkin, you may ask. The simple answer is a ratings boost. CNBC has recently aired (over and over) several specials on the business of Cannabis/MJ/Hemp. So they clearly think that this subject is good for ratings. And who better to interview than an industry guru who has now taken command of a publicly traded entity within the same industry/sector.
I think that such an interview is very plausible in the near future. And I would not want to be on the sidelines should such an interview take place.
As always, simply my opinion.

CNBC just did a segment on the cannabis business expo which took place over the weekend. CNBC is definitely the network where you want exposure, because it has the eyes of tens of millions of potential investors.
Here are some highlights from the segment:
-One of the fastest growing industries in the county
-Focus on smaller pot entreprenuers
-Challenges of the current regulatory environment
-Cannabis based beauty products
I think I heard that they will be providing more coverage as the day goes on.
IMO, the Green rush has only just begun.
GRCU
CNBC commentator (Joe Kernan) just announced they will be talking about the cannabis expo after the commercial break. Great exposure for the rapidly growing industry, in all the right places...
GRCU
The agreement (as detailed in the 8-k filing) provides for only a 15% discount to the avg lowest bid for a small 7 day period following the 'put' request for funds.
Furthermore, if FPFI shares are trading above a penny when they are 'put' to the lender, the dilution would hardly be felt.
And since the agreement has a duration of 36 months, much of that dilution might not be felt for quite some time.
As always, simply my opinion.
I see this VOIS ear mounted hands-free controller as something that could create a revolution in gaming. As was pointed out during a recent CNBC interview, the world currently expects a clunky, bulky, uncomfortable helmet type device to enjoy mind driven gaming. If VOIS can truly deliver with the accuracy and comfort on their final production version of this ear-mounted controller device, I think this company can scale quickly, and become extremely valuable. Additionally, the application of mind-controlled devices goes far beyond the gaming industry.
As one indication of demand within the innovative controller category, more than 24 million units of the Xbox Kinect motion controller have been sold.
If Mind Solutions Inc. (VOIS) could eventually sell just one million units of their ear-mounted mind controller, that would likely equate to more than $125 million in wholesale revenue. But the reality is that the number sold could be one tenth of that (even 100k units), and we'd still likely see an exponential increase in the share price.
Experiments from several years ago have proven that simple primates can use mind control to accomplish tasks. So wouldn't it seem logical that people will be using these techniques to control video games in the near future? And at that point, button controllers (the current standard in the industry), could seem as ridiculously outdated as phones tethered to the wall. When the Mind Solutions Inc. finished product is available for distribution, the upside here could be tremendous. The applications for their small, ear-mounted controller device are endless.
Believe it or not, even monkeys have participated in experiments that use mind controlled devices (see below).

I'd like to try and answer this another way, using an analogy. Let's say someone owns a timeshare property (for one week a year), in addition to their primary residence.
Would it be prudent for them to take valuable personal assets, and gift them to the timeshare property for which they only own a one-week-per-year interest (thereby sharing those assets with up to 51 other families), or keep those valuable personal assets at their primary residence, for enjoyment throughout the year?
This is why I would be extremely surprised if Robert Calkin would simply fold CCI into Green Cures, as a gift.
As always, simply my opinion.
The answer to that question should be fairly obvious. Why would anyone who serves as CEO of a publicly traded company for which they own a tiny percentage of the shares (4 million of about 1.6 billion for his first year's service) surrender a private company he has built?
I follow hundreds of fortune 500 companies, and I can't say that I've ever seen a CEO turn over a private company which they've built to the public company in which they own a small percentage.
As always simply my opinion.
Thanks for the compliment, DTL. I have learned today that my editing techniques may have been better than I knew. I will be crystal clear in the future with respect to such edited images, as I wouldn't want someone to misinterpret the edited image to be an original photo.
That photo has been edited as well. If you are going to repost it in the future, please make that point clear.
I included this verbiage when I posted that photo:
*Don't get too excited... the above image has been altered. Thanks to K2 for providing the original photo, which is minus the Green Cures & GRCU references.

My apologies... my intent was not to deceive. I was simply trying to be humorous. Thank you for the compliment.
I edited the image (I added the text on the white board). The screen had no text before I edited it. I hope that clears things up.
That is what I meant by the note at the bottom of my post:'*All images are for entertainment purposes only.'

Google trends tracks how popular various search terms are on the web. By doing that, it is indirectly measuring the relative importance of topics that are of interest to people around the globe.
Below I have included a Google Trends chart for 'Cannabis'. I have annotated the chart to show basic directional trending lines. As is very clear from the chart (which includes 2004 - present), what began as a downtrend in interest, transitioned to a side-wards trend, and now appears to be in an accelerating uptrend. Again, this represents the world's interest in this topic, over time. And if it were a stock pricing chart, I think most would agree it is now heavily bullish.
This bodes well for the future of the industry in general, and Green Cures & Botabotical Distribution (GRCU) in particular.

Nice suggestion, DTL. But that would take a bit more work, and I might break a sweat (lol).
Some would have us believe that we own a mere pile of coal. Let us not forget that with pressure and time, coal will turn into diamonds. Our CEO, Robert Calkin, is applying pressure on the industry in the form of legislative influence.

Fans of the Matrix are very familiar with Agent Smith.
Agent Smith would have us take the red pill here (selling GRCU for a loss, or a modest gain at best). But if we truly understand the potential of what we have here, we understand very well that only one option really makes sense. The future, for the patient and unwavering, holds the potential for a giant green pill (immense profit).

Occam's razor: Some here may be familiar with the concept known as 'Occam's razor'. It suggests that 'among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Other, more complicated solutions may ultimately prove correct, but—in the absence of certainty—the fewer assumptions that are made, the better.' - wikipedia
One view that has been expressed is that although production facilities have been secured, and a product, packaging and various marketing materials have been developed, the whole chewable juice thing is an elaborate hoax, with there being no real intention of a product launch. I can not argue with certainty that it is not, since the product is not yet available for sale.
I choose to believe, though, that the explanation is much simpler. I choose to believe that the product launch delay has been caused primarily by delays in obtaining the necessary certification(s) from the dept(s) of agriculture, just as the company has stated via recent correspondence.
If the CEO of Fresh Promise Foods had not previously served as the head marketing guy for the Minute Maid division of Coca Cola, I might lean more toward the hoax scenario for an explanation as to the delay. But my gut tells me the plan is actually as stated - to launch the chewable juice product as soon as the required state/fed approvals have been obtained. And once the product actually launches, I believe the stock will move up significantly from the current level.

On Tuesday 10/7, I felt strongly that a move upward in FPFI was nearing, and that is why I posted the message below. Congrats to those that felt the same way, and acted upon it by adding to their position at .0004. It would now appear, from the chart, that the stock has bottomed and a full reversal is in effect. IMO, the uptrend has only just begun.
