Thermal extraction is great for shallow wells and tars sands. Not good for much else. Draw backs to steam injection are numerous. One is the availability of water. Massive amounts of water are required for steam extraction. Water that is in short supply in many areas that have shallow wells. Like, oh, say California's Kern county. CO2 injection has surpassed steam injection since 2006.
Speaking of California, one of very few places shallow enough for steam injection... Kern county has banned steam injections since a sink hole opened up, killing someone last year.
Again, nothing new or ground breaking here. But it sure sounds good when they slap the "environmentally friendly" label on it!
How many of those gas stations have the stainless steel tanks and hoses that M85 requires?
Neither Chevron, nor any other oil company, has an interest in Methanol. Sure it has a higher octane, which equates to more power. Also equates to half the mileage. There is a reason methanol isn't selling everywhere, and it's not because it's new technology. Nothing new about methanol. If octane were all that, we'd be using isopropanol. It's octane rating is 108.
Good job re-posting their PR. Now Find the name and address of just one retailer for their product. And while you are at it, do a Superpages.com search for US Energy Initiatives in Santa Clarita. Let us know what you find.
USEI was my one and only foray into pinks. Never got around to dumping it when it went to zero. Broker friend filled me in on Stanton. Told me to hold on to it. As long as Stanton stayed out of jail, there was a good chance he'd pick it up again. Imagine my surprise when it started moving again.
Xtremepicks probably didn't, but their parent company DGM most certainly did! Or are they doing all this advertising out of the goodness of their hearts? Xtremepicks merely plays the DGM pumps.
Noted by who?
Sure USEI is a real company. They have all the paperwork to prove it. If you read that paperwork, they have exactly two employees. Who is manufacturing all this fuel everyone keeps harping about? Where are they manufacturing it? When did all these gas stations revert to stainless steel storage tanks required to accommodate M85. When did they get EPA approval to mfg, much less sell M85?
Methanol, as a fuel source, has been around since 1823. M85 is a great fuel for high performance RACING vehicles. M85 for commercial use was discounted for various reasons. Most notably,
Reduced gas mileage. It takes 1.7 gallons of M85, to travel the same distance as 1 gallon of gasoline.
Fuel storage tanks and dispensing equipment must be corrosion and damage resistant. This is because of the potentially harmful nature of M85 (in the case of spills/leaks), and the fact that it is a corrosive solvent. Fuel delivery requires use of non-corroding hoses and stainless steel fuel tanks.
Although the refueling process is the same as that for gasoline, there is little or no retail refueling available in the US.
But you keep telling yourself USEI has a new product that everyone will want. It's the same thing they did years ago when they were talking about all the orders for their dual fuel system that was going to revolutionize engines. Problem is there were lots of "reports", and no actual product. Much as there is today.
And you believe that? What are Belize's laws on false advertising?
Yeah, except there is no 96. It doesn't exist. There is no media blitz. There are no stations advertising it for sale. There are no distribution centers licensed in the state of California. There are no EPA permits issued, or pending. How are sales going to happen?
Another question for the board. Why does DGM release all it's information from Belize, when it's office, and CEO, Ricardo Cardenas, are in Sunrise Florida? Could it be to get around US disclosure laws?
It amazes me how many on this board are touting DGM. They are a marketing firm. Their job is to sell a product. From their own website...

In other words... We will pump the hell out of your worthless POS for you!
Kinda reminds me of an Amway convention around here.
Their list is very big, but still a minute fraction of the OTC market.
The entire OTC market?? Really? You think it is that small?
USEI makes pumpsanddumps.com watchlist!
That is all well and good if you have no problem bilking people out of their money. Personally, I have a problem with that. If the buyers were left with a worthwhile product, I would be all for it. Being one of those that got left holding the USEI bag 5 years ago, I'll do my best to warn people not to bother with this POS.
Where is USEI's production facility? What is their distribution pipeline? Methanol fuel blends require special seals, and linings. Have gas stations around the country been installing them in hopes of the coming Singular revolution? M85 has been around for years. Why isn't it everywhere? Maybe cause people don't want it bad enough to make the changes necessary to use it. It does make a great racing fuel, but that 33% drop in economy (not performance) is a motivating factor. Maybe people aren't willing to pay 6 cents a gallon less, to get 1/3 the mileage!
I didn't say anything about Patents did I? I work in the oil and gas industry. Nothing, and I mean nothing, get's sold without EPA and DOE approval. EPA approval is a very drawn out procedure. Where are their environmental impact studies?
Quick search of the DOE and EPA websites finds nothing on Singular 96. Zip! Nada! From the two main regulatory agencies that regulate fuel, fuel blends, and additives. Explain to me how sale are imminent!
Another quick search of the web for "Singular 96" turns up nothing but copies of the PR, and various pumps by penny stock sites. Not one single place to buy Singular 96. Not a single distributor. Not a single advertisement! But sales are just around the corner right?
Correction... "...with 96 octane..."
You're kidding right? Why would the oil companies be considering a repackaged E-85? The technology is public domain. Why would they be interested in a company with exactly 2 employees?
Do you even know what octane does? There have been ethanol blends with 86 octane in the midwest for sometime now. They are good for eliminating knock, but other than that, don't serve much of a purpose. Unless you are looking for a 30% REDUCTION IN GAS MILEAGE
And no matter who is left holding the bag! I'm with you. I want some fool to buy my shares. I got left holding the bag last time!
And the Chairman.
Well, except that in the initial company disclosure statement, Jon D. Stanton is listed as the major shareholder.
You can cheer lead as long as you want. This is par for the course on Stanton companies. Lot's of PR's, followed by a slew of cheerleaders, then.... Nothing.
If it doesn't hit .08, I'll wait until I need the write-off.
Soon as it hits .08.
I've been holding this POS for over 5 years! Any one of you cheer leaders want to give me .08 a share, I'll take it right now! I'd be more than happy to let you reap the millions coming.
Slojab. My post was actually directed to the one asking if it was bad.
Search the boards for "Stanton scam"... Make up your own mind about anything dealing with Stanton.
Joe,
Do you spend any time working on your business model? Or is it all spent bashing GBR on message boards? Also, why is your patent registered to Tire Chief, and not Tire Chef?
DM,
I've been offshore the past week, any word back from SEC? Not that it really matters.I see where 45500 shares were traded today. Wish I had got more at a penny.
I guess the SEC is just too busy to talk to us "little people".
I haven't heard back either.
DM,
No reply to my email yet. I also left a voice mail with Scott Freistad (Associate Director, SEC's Dvision of Enforcement). His number is 202-551-4962 if anyone else wants to try. There is also a number for information on the subject 202-551-4600.
On another note, I talked to the trading desk at USAA, they said the current ask is .15, and the current bid is .05. They also said they were only able to find one MM trading the stock.
DM,
Found this on the SEC website. http://www.sec.gov/litigation/suspensions/2008/34-57486.pdf
SECURITIES EXCHANGE ACT OF 1934 RELEASE NO. 57486 / March 13, 2008
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced the temporary suspension, pursuant to Section 12(k) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (the "Exchange Act"), of trading of the securities of the following 26 companies at 9:30 a.m. EDT on March 13, 2008, and terminating at 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 27, 2008:
According to this, the suspension was only until midnight on the 27th of March. Will let you know when I hear back from SEC.
DM,
I don't know why your broker says it is still suspended, and mine says it is not. I've sent an email to the enforcement division at the SEC to get clarification. If I don't have a reply in the morning, I'll give them a call, and let you know what I find out.
Have you called Fidelity? USAA said it was "very thinly traded", but I could still trade it. If Fidelity wont trade it, ask them why.
