The stock is going down based on the TCA and notes converting this has nothing to do with the brand and how its moving or the sales. They were locked up and couldn't start selling again till the got TCA out and the company just started back basically Aug 1 as they started the sales and shows and the soft launch the stock price today has nothing to do with how the company is performing that will all change over the next 6 months as sales are reported. The stock going down has nothing to do with the brand or sales as nothing has been reported or show but its coming. That the facts. So you want get on that call with Veal and man up. People know who I am I more than will to set up a call tomorrow with Veal. You can email me direct at bevmover@yahoo.com and send a number a time that works and your number and I set the call up. I also never said the stock would go up till there was sales in the market place. I did say it would not go under 1 cent and I was wrong as I didn't estimate the selling pressure as Themails has detailed very well.
You said they never raise money they did, you said they never make sales and get the company back they did. You said the guy buying the TCA note would be worst than TCA not even close he ask for no control over the company nor control over inventor just stock. Why because the stock actually trades unlike many penny companies there is volume and people believing and accumulating. I say I been right 90 percent of the time I actually sell it and watch this stuff move I attend all the shows I have a much better view of what is going on. See the stock don't reflect at this point where the company is and won't it will take 5 to 6 months to catch up. Want to get on a call with Veal with me tomorrow. I can set up the conference call if you like. You can ask away. Just let me know.
Your the one not telling the truth, the Japan deal is a real deal Warner Brothers Vetted it and signed off they actually came from Warner Japan to the company its also in all the filings the actual contract. The shot has to go through the Japanese process call Veal he will explain and the company has even had attorneys involved in Japan to try to move it along. IF you pick up the phone and speak to the CEO you get the facts instead of posting untruths. So quite telling people untruths. You have an axe to grind and agenda we all know this. I think the new people need to know the real truth. Themails pointed this out about Japan in detail in his earlier email. Also you never call Veal but then make statements without speaking to the horse mouth hum I wonder why. I suggest anyone email him direct with any questions or call him like Themals does or myself etc. Get the facts from the company not a poster on this stock boards. I notice when Themails post from the stock side you never challenge him because he got it right and see what this company is and were its going. So let be honest and truthful shall we.
This shows me you know nothing category buyers slot plantograms for counters were have you been living. This is also for counters my friend not just isle, wow. Come to bevnet quite being a pretender. This process also takes months to achieve and you have to get an opening or buy your way in some cases, but because of the energy space and the bottle size and the emerging of healthy drinks its much easier, but with chains you still have to go through the process and it don't happen in 3 months now is the time that their making these choice, you should of been at NACS. You guys are like Monday morning quarter backs you don't attend the shows but you have the answers with out ever seeing the game up front or meeting the players. I was at the ASD show and NACS. I also will be at the upcoming show in Tampa and HJOE already has a booth its going to be another show where the do serious sales damage, I suggest you attend you might have a different view. So I am there front and center talking to the company seeing who comes in the booth as I have reps at may of these shows for our craft beer, I am in the game. Your watching from the cheap seats and really cannot see the mound this is how I view it I am in the game in the industry you might know the stock game but I for sure know beverages and the Vitamin water is a good analogy they were upside down with a functional brand so was 5hr they almost went under 3 times but it takes time to build a brand and to get share of mine. These things don't happen in 3 months more like 3 years its going to take a lot more money and a lot more distribution. This has only begun. Go back on their fb you will see my photo in the booth at ASD show. I am there and I report what is going on and what I see I think I am a little closer to it than most. The numbers in the future will report the rest. The brand sells great also the longer in the store the better the sell through is getting. There no stopping that.
Wow now from reading your post I know you need to go to bevnet in December for a bit of training. You really don't get the c-store channel do you or the DSD vs the distributor or jobber structure. I deal with the coolers with our craft beer daily and both the counters and I am very familiar with slotting fees etc. I going to let you graduates of the Bodine school of beverages continue. I can tell y'all have done graduate in beverage placement and DSD engineering. Ya brands are built in 3 months. Ever heard of planograms and how long it takes to get accepted into the programs the nielsen data ya just achieve that in 3 months with a new brand The brand just launched but to the Bodine graduates there questioning the methods of how the complex integrated systems work. I love it this is classic.
Lets give it six months and sales reported and more stores and national chains that the teller of those who don't get it. The stock price today is so undervalued for what is actually happen behind the scene and since I sell it I see what is happening in the stores. I sell it you don't, I see the sell through .you don't .you take a snap shot of the price before any sales have ever been released and celebrate why what is the real reason you don't like the brand what the agenda? The future is so bright everyone going need to wear shades. Wait till the first massive national chain is release, I have a feeling that will be right after the first of the year its going to happen I have a strong feeling. Understanding that sales and Revenue relates to share price is the key of understand beverages. Now there is no sales released and stock flip flippers and the TCA shares converting into the market and I like many others are buying daily. Counter and sales and more distribution is the key and if you don't get that you will never get it. You don't believe we do. That the difference. I see the believe weekly when my guys refill stores. Seeing is believing.
Simple this is a long term game. If your in this form week to week or day to day to be a penny flipper that another game. But if your in this and believe this can become a real brand and company that a different matter. If you under stand beverages and distribution and the category. Then this has all the chance of being a big winner even risky as it is the upside is very strong if you know beverages and if you see what is going on in the beverage markets. Healthier drinks are emerging bevnet last week wrote a whole article on the category. The one thing I do know is beverages and this has branding its a functional brand in an emerging growth category with a huge upside in the beverage world. You play the stock game all day form day to day. This is a marathon not a sprint for me. I was here when this was 30 cents. I even bought shares when it was in the 20 and also at 17 and I picked up all the way down to even out. I have not sold a share but only accumulated more like Themails. I see the long term of where the brand is going.
I love how you try to paint a rose color view of the company to these new guys with out explaining after the PLN screw up that HJOE got locked down for 9 months by TCA who had a lock on the companies money and also inventory so they didn't sell but had put a few semi loads to Mclain and to Core-Mark before the lock down to keep the hangover product out in the market. So yes sales went to nothing because if HJOE sold TCA had a lock and controlled inventory the company basically couldn't sell and this was all caused by PLN or the loan to TCA would of been paid etc.. Then Veal got TCA out and the company free up and the launch of Git-R-Done you have to give Veal credit they did all this and launched and created a new brand while these predators had a hold around the neck of the company actually very impressive. These guys are fighters that why I am an investor and distributor. So now the company is moving again and the re-launch as well of the Hangover product as I seen at the show. I wonder how many thousand percent sales will increase from the soft launch. We won't see huge numbers as myself I am on net 60 etc. But we will see decent sales reported this Q as it was a soft launch. You new guys have to relies there are people that don't like the company and lost out when it went public as the co-founders took back control and got out some guys who have an axe to grind who tried to damage the company and could not raise money and just were basically parasites. Just in being fair, so I can show you the view form the other side of the rose color glasses.
Guys that stuff can all happen but this product just rolled out Aug 1 and you have to have large national distribution before any of that will occur it take time and a few years to build a brand with that type of market penetration. As I said from the beginning this is a marathon over time and not a sprint. They only just begun.
I have order 2 pallets and just got the other one. I will need more by Dec 1 the way its going. There is no added caffeine in the shot. I been taking it now for two months. I must say I am addicted I take some days 2 of them. It a great product. It makes you feel so much better. New people need to do their DD on Astaxanthin this stuff is totally the worlds best antioxidant and this is the first energy drink that has it in the shot. Astaxanthin is so good for you in so many ways but when in combination with other ingredients in this shot makes it really the first health & wellness shot on the USA market.
It's not I was at the show and happen to be at the booth and meet the guy form Canada. He also has a lot of other licensed brands in Canada and sells into over 5,000 stores in Canada. He test it in like 200 stores during the soft launch. In 2015 he will be launching it into 7-11 and other chains in Canada is what he told them at the booth that he already has space coming in that category and will launch it into lots of stores in Canada. He was at the booth on Wens for about an hour the first day I was their and I actually met him. He is also doing the c-store show in Calgary for the brand. The show actually starts today. http://calgary.convenienceu.ca/ He is a very good size player in Canada and he said the brand sold out very fast in Canada. Because Canada is much stricter on Caffeine this brand will get tons of placement all over the country.
It's good to keep an eye on all of their social media. I just read an article over the weekend how social media is becoming the new front for branding and news for companies and that the rise of more social media platforms are now being developed and used more and more by companies to spread the word on the brand and product. Looks like they have a distributor rolling the brand across Canada and looking to go into 5k stores in Canada soon and they did a nice promotion on the Hangover side in New Orleans via social media this weekend. For you people who are new its good to look over both of the facebook at twitter accounts for both Git-R-Done-Energy and Hangover Joe's Recovery Shot!
https://www.facebook.com/GitRDoneEnergy
https://www.facebook.com/hangoverrecovery
I know it because I sell the brand they release all this before your just new.
I think the PR was a Forecast of what they think can be done. Veal is conservative but that what I am thinking he is saying can be achieved based on the data. I going to lunch. Just took a Git R Done I am addicted I take two a day.
I can give you the pallet info its $9300 on average for a pallet this is 300 cases of 24 bottles each two 12 packs make a pallet and 50 master cases to a pallet. A master case has 6 individual cases. So 7,200 bottles to a pallet.
The next is in Nov I think 15th. This will have some sales much more than the past but it was the soft launch and a lot of sales are net 30-90 so it won't show all sales but we will see actually sales this time and each Q will increase from here.
That what the Q is for Veal has explained they cannot tell us sales as people can trade on that information. They are not going to say we did 100k in x store at the show. I don't ever see them doing that but I do see them providing that in the Q.
They cannot release that as that is consider inside info you should know that etc. Veal is very strict on that kind of stuff. We see some sales in the next Q on the soft launch but we start seeing that kind of stuff in future Q etc.
This will not happen till there is national penetration the brand just rolled out in July that will take some time. There is advertising the brand is piggy backing off of and I saw it at the booth. Larry The Cable Guy in on radio and TV daily Prilosec spends 40mm a month in advertising. People came to the booth and said oh I know this I seen this on TV. They had seen Larry on TV so what that is causing is share of mind. Larry is so branded from these ads when the consumers see his face etc.
This is a total mis-truth. Why do this stuff to these new guys. I mean the have a Hangover Recovery Drink is in stores all over Vegas just walk in any ABC in Vegas or go to any hotel gift store or just look in stores on the strip. Look in New Orleans in the French Quarter in Walgreen in Nola its out there etc. www.Hangoverjoes.com this is the website they have a hangover recovery drink I sell it.. Just go to Google and put in The Hangover Recovery Shot and watch the pages and reviews come up. They have sold over 2 million in it, till PLN the company that manufactured it in Georgia screwed up tons of production sent containers to Australia and Canada that were defective bottles there is a multi-million dollar law suit going now in Georgia between HJOE and PLN. The shot is all over Vegas, New Orleans and Albertson stores, It has been in GNC and 7-11 nationally it is also in many other locations in the USA. They were also selling it at the show. They program was buy 5 cases of Larry and you had to buy a one case of The hangover product as well to fill out a master case. They are forcing growth and re-launching the brand. So this is the truth there is a Hangover Recovery Shot.
They do pay him but he is an active partner as he promotes the brand and the agreement is to promote do public appearance and TV or Radio and social media as well as YouTube. I was in their booth and heard them explain this so he is onboard big time as you can see in social media.
Since you must be new and have done no DD. They were at the NACS show and the booth was packed. They were under pure vitamins in booth #618. I was in the booth and I purchased two pallets myself. I am a distributor in Georgia. Now for a little info you might not know. Pure Vitamin is a master distributor. HJOE has stared a partnership with them. The owner DR Ken has his products worldwide but in 60 percent of USA c-stores. He controls about 60 percent of all the Men Enhancement pills you see in c-stores. He is an Indian gentleman and Dr. He also was one of 5hr top main distributors and led 5hr in the beginning years into thousands and thousands of stores but as I was told was not compensated correct by the owner. He is huge as he has his products in over 60 percent of c-stores in the USA. He is a master distributor and he also was selling HJOE at the show into distributors and stores. Do you think they faked all the videos from the show the editor of Bevnet in the booth. You need to do some better DD before making these kind of statements.
OTC website is not working correct they have posted no news today they are working to repair.
The OTB Site has posted no news today they are having an issue. I actually called and check they said they are having issue with the site and will update all news they missed soon as resolved. I found it strange also.
Here is the whole release for the newswire.
HJOE - Git-R-Done-Energy Scores Big at The National Convenience Store Show
DENVER, CO, United States, via ETELIGIS INC., 10/15/2014 - - Hangover Joe's Holding Corporation, (OTCQB: HJOE) , is the maker of "The Hangover Recovery Shot" and developers of the innovative, state of the art, proprietary " Git -R-Done-Energy Shot" with Git -R-Done Productions, Inc. and Larry the Cable Guy. "The NACS s how was a huge success," said Shawn Adamson Co-Founder and Head of Marketing & Sales for Hangover Joe's. "We had so many people coming at us in the booth we just couldn't speak to everyone, but they all got information and our phones have been ringing non- stop since we returned from the show. At times we were 7 rows deep and were one of the busiest booths at the NACS show and created lots of buzz around the brand and our company. Git -R-Done Energy was featured by NACS in the "What's New & Hot" section of th e show which generated tons of interest in the product. NACS only features a limited number of brands in this special/elite section of the show and we were front and center in the hot products showcase. We signed up a lot of new distributors and have been shipping pallets all week since we returned from the show ," added Adamson. "Our sales are really ramping up as we have now officially launched the brand," said CEO-Matt Veal. "It's taken a lot of hard work which will continue to do, but we are turning thin gs around and believe we are now on track to see this company become very successful.
Also of great importance is we are entering into an agreement with a master distributor that we believe has the ability to sell hundreds & hundreds of pallets of product in 2015 and beyond. It's truly exciting to see the brand being accepted very well by both consumers and retailers alike. We are seeing good movement on store counters and this has brought more and more retailers and distributors to the brand. Our soft lau nch was a success and we shared this information and data at the show with buyers and distributors.
We're also excited to report that the nation's leading beverage magazines were at our booth doing interviews with our team and photographing our Git -R-Done Energy shots. As one might imagine, this also created quite a buzz with buyers at the show and sparked their interest in Git -R-Done Energy. The NACS show was everything we expected it to be and more , " added Veal. "Our direct relationship with a large mas ter distributor is opening the doors to convenience store associations and jobbers and master distributors around the country, which will take our healthy energy shot into major distribution in the c-store and grocery & pharmacy sectors. Our sales were ver y strong at the show , " said Mike Jaynes, co-founder and chairman of the board for Hangover Joe's. "We've really made some good partnerships that will help take this company and brand to the next level over the next 12 months and going forward.
We are pres ently negotiating with 4 major c-store chains on promotions and launching the brand, and we'll provide more details on these stores as we reach final agreements. The brand is going to go onto more and more store counters and we are going to continue to do more trade shows and also grow our distribution through more advertising in beverage magazines to reach more and more retailers. The push is on for HJOE to gain more market share and distribution. We also had a lot of interest at the show in The Hangover R ecovery Shot. Quite a few buyers from overseas were interested in the brand and we have been working on overseas distribution for The Hangover Recovery Shot as well as re-launching it in the USA and will soon be doing a production run for both Git -R-Done-E nergy & The Hangover Recovery Shot. We've had quite a few reorders recently from Albertsons stores where we have already re-launched The Hangover Recovery Shot and are happy to report the product is selling very well. The key for distribution abroad is get ting The Hangover Recovery Shot approved in other countries and this takes a bit of time. With that said, we feel confident we will be able to launch the brand overseas in a number of foreign countries in 2015, which will add dollars to our bottom line. W e have serious international distributors interested in launching The Hangover Recovery Shot abroad and we fully intend to execute on these opportunities."
" We believe with the data we have received and the relationships we are building that we can achiev e 5 million dollars in sales in 2015 , " said Adamson. "We are going to build this company in two ways. First, we are going to build it up and down the street with master distributors and with jobbers and secondly we are also are going to start moving toward DSD distributors and bring in some more key players to help build that side of the company as we continue to grow the two brands. We have a unique opportunity as we have products that have unparalleled branding that are functional beverages which are well received by consumers. Git -R-Done Energy is poised to take market share in a growth sector of energy drinks & The Hangover Recovery Shot is going to reassert itself as the leader in a growing category of hangover recovery drinks. Both buyers and consumers are looking for healthier choices in energy drinks and we feel we have the right brands for the time. We are ready to Git R Done for our shareholders, customers and distributors as well as fans of the brand. We are looking forward to continuing to move the company forward in the upcoming months and into 2015. We believe the timing couldn't be better to Git -R-Done for HJOE!"

They have release it to the wire. This is a PR release its going all over the small cap sites etc. The release is out.
They just posted this on their FB. Its great news project 5 million in sales.
Here a little news for Y'all! We rocked the NACS Show last week in Vegas!
http://www.smallcapnetwork.com/HJOE-Git-R-Done-Energy-Scores-Big-at-The-National-Convenience-Store-Show/s/via/18950/article/view/p/mid/1/id/5542/
If you saw what I saw at the NACS show you understand that they had tons of sales and they hooked up a lot of distribution and who knows what else. I expect when the news hits it will be an update on the show and all hell will break loose. I hope they give us an idea on what they can do in the upcoming year as Veal is always conservative it will be an insight.
I agree with you. I have said for a long time where this is going. There has been a few game changers one is United Labs and this new energy shot. The company has a strong partner that can crank out the product this is no PLN that couldn't keep up and screwed things all up. Hence the massive law suit that is moving through the courts here in Georgia. The other game changer is Matt Veal, the co-founders are great at sales and marketing and creating brands but they didn't understand the public space and Veal has turned every public company he has been with around for 20 years. He took one company that was 22 million in the hole to the black. He understands the public space and is a good Quarter Back for Team HJOE. The other is that they re-invented themselves as a company and have a revolutionary new product with a total different delivery system as an energy shot. Now its about lining up more sales and getting on counters and promoting and growing the brand and finding money that is not toxic. We saw them take the Hangover Shot to over 2 million in sales till PLN and all the problems that cause TCA etc. They took back control of the company and we now see progress. They will still have challenges ahead but its looking good for HJOE! I do believe they can and will Git R Done.
Wow that would be a hard guess . I have no clue what they sold. I can tell you this it was a quite a bit from what I observed. They had people lined up for orders and the girls were passing out shots and sales sheets and post cards and info. I heard a few guys say we will call you next week to place orders. I also heard other say they were coming back in a bit so I cannot say. I can say that the booth had a lot of eyes on it from both the media and from distributors there was a real buzz going on. They were playing dance music, not to loud but where you could talk but you felt really upbeat, it was like a party going on the girls dancing passing shots saying Git R Done etc and the guys all selling explaining the product had a great vibe. They work great as a team. They have the trade show thing down well. They all dress In Git-R-Done shirts and black pants and skirts etc. very professional and they approach it full on the girls know the job to stop customers give them shots and info and hold them till the guys can talk to them but they were so busy they just couldn't get to everyone when I was there. I think we will see some news soon. I figure they had to get back and start shipping as we saw from FB today and figuring out as they stated a week ago more production and gearing up for what they will produce and do projections from the show. Matt Veal is big on data etc so you know he working the numbers. So I think they are putting a plan of attack together. This is only going to continue to grow form quarter to quarter. I was very proud to see them back on top of their game. You who have been here awhile no I have defended these guys from day one and I have been a believer in the categories and the brand and this company. It's just good to see the product back on the shelves and in the stores. It is moving good here in Georgia. I did see Git-R-Done Energy in Am & PM stores and in ABC stores in Vegas. The hangover shot is all over the strip in c-stores and gift stores. They are using Snack Man as a distributor out in Vegas and they seam to be doing a good job.
I am telling the truth the booth was packed and I expect we will see articles from the Beverage Magazines coming in next month or will see articles. Both Bevnet & Beverage industry were at the both taking photos. You can also see they put videos from the booth of Facebook for you new its good to keep an eye on their FB. https://www.facebook.com/GitRDoneEnergy You will see they have a photo of the editor of Bevnet on the FB page. I can tell you this they had a lot of Indian guys at the both. These guy today run the master distributors as so many c-stores are Indian owned and there are Indian c-store associations and those guys were all over the booth. They were lining up master distributors who sell to jobbers. I can tell you this we will see sales increase each quarter as they continue to grow the brand. What their doing you have to relies is not easy. Tons of people try to get market share but they are very good at selling they have a national celeb behind the brand. Larry the Cable Guy as I heard them explain is on TV day and night and radio ads with Prilosec who spends 40 million dollars a month on advertising. Prilosec is a 26 billion dollar company in sales. So the advertising is huge and this brand is so lucky to be piggy backing on all of that advertising that is branding Larry day and night. What this does and let me explain from a beverage aspect is it creates share of mind in the market place. Share of mind in the market is powerful and what gives this sell through out the gate which is a massive advantage. I have shown the product to stores when it first came out in July and they said oh I have seen that sure we will put this in I think I saw an ad for this. They couldn't of seen an ad or know the brand it was new. I knew then we had share of mind in the market place from all the branding done of Larry. This is a massive advantage over other brands besides 5hr which advertises and has 90 percent of the market. I believe that as I like to explain they are the coke in the energy shot industry. The will remain being Coke. But no Pepsi has emerged yet. There is always a Pepsi. Take Ford & Gm, Take Apple and Samsung so many examples of this etc. There has yet to be a company who can get into the energy shot business and take market share. With this branding and all the advertising done, plus the market and store buyers looking for healthy choices this brand has the best shot to become the Pepsi its the only other shot that has real branding and that can take this position. Also their is no better name in energy than Git-R-Done. This is on point and code with the market and part of pop culture. So their is a real opportunity. I watched Vitamin Water, I watched Monster, it all took a lot of time and money to get there it also took to things. It took street jobbers and master distributors and it took DSD house and beer distributors to open up the markets for these brands. If Git-R-Done over the next two to three years can gain 10% percent market share then it can happen and grow into the Pepsi in the energy shot sector. This is going to take more money and I think soon from what I saw at the show we will see a financer come into place for production and capital soon those guys are also at the show walking around looking for the next big thing. I was ask do I think Revenue - share price. Yes we have seen no revenue released yet and we will see some from the soft launch but it will be even more the next quarter and we will see steady growth each quarter. This is a marathon its not a sprint but they have a huge advantages over others. First they have great branding, they are piggy backing on millions of advertising and creating share of mind in the market place with out total national distribution yet this is also important as distributors are willing to open the door and take a chance on this product over others because of the instant branding and the huge advertising of Larry face day and night on TV. It's not rocket science if you were setting there looking at three energy shots you pick this one as the one having the best chance to make it and that is what is going on. They have a healthy energy shot with the worlds leading antioxidant and first time its ever been put in a drink another huge advantage. They have Larry promoting the product another huge advantage. They have a product that taste great and works another huge advantage. So its a matter of more counters and more stores which will create more revenue and as time goes this will increase the share price. I believe the brand and stock is strong enough to Git-R-Done. As they told me at the show, its about sales, its about more sales and getting our product on more counters and I think they are focused on making this happen. I am not a stock guy but a beverage guy and I have been buying more as it went down to equal out my average. I am here for the long haul.
I am a distributor of the company and have been since 2009 before the company was public before the deal with Warner for the Hangover Recovery Shot. I have been here since the start I discovered them at NACS in 2009. I was at the NACS show. I saw their booth and what was going on. I expect we will see articles soon from the Beverage Mags. I saw Bevnet and Beverage Industry at the booth with cameras and taking photos etc. What I saw was like a feeding frenzy. They had people on Thursday 7 rows deep they couldn't even talk to all the people I saw them writing orders lots of Jobbers and distributors were buying this product. They had the girls handing out shots and passing sales sheets and cards. They sold a lot at this show but I also saw the buzz around the booth and people at the show were talking about how it was one of the busier booths. I can tell you this the product sells and the sell through is good and the company has Larry promoting it and this is only going to grow and they will continue to add distribution and sales as we move forward. This as I like to tell new people is a marathon not a sprint. They are building this business with master distributors and jobbers and in 2015 we will see DSD guys coming on as well as chains stores. The Energy category is only growing and there is a real opening in the market come January with many distributor loosing Monster to Coke and the door will open for them to go into more distribution channels. I saw with my own eye what is going on and it is exciting. They are hard workers and they are big at promotions and selling. People both consumers and retailers and distributors like the brand. This is about more counters and more sales. From what I saw their going to need a lot more money soon. I can telling you from a beverage guy and from a distributor view this is a winner. This can be a national brand and I really think its going to happen. The product is excellent for you who are new here it works and taste good and it has great branding and strong support. They actually needed a bigger booth and more people on the floor they had so much interest. I watch the booth on Wens and Thursday of the show for a few hours it was none stop. I didn't go to the show on Friday as it was a half day and I had seen all I needed to know. Also there were not really any other new energy shots a few but I mean nothing to concern about and this was the only healthy energy shot in the show. So that is my update from the show. I think they are going to be very busy over the next few months. Git R Done HJOE!
I was at the Hangover Joe's booth yesterday at Nacs and all I can say was wow. People they were so busy I couldn't really even talk to them it was like a feeding frenzy of stores and buyers and distributors, they had two girls working and they needed 2 more as it was that busy. I did speak to a distributor of theirs from East Texas he order a pallet while I was there. He told me in the soft launch he had got 10 master cases and it had all sold out. He said this is going to be massive. He had same results as us in Georgia great sell through and repeat customers in the stores for the brand. He has very high traffic truck stops as well. He said he is also bringing a friend from Houston in to carry in that city and that guy would be arriving today. I saw with my own eye and I can say this that people love the brand and it's also is in the new show case area of the show. I went in there and people were all over the product in there as well taking photos etc as your not allowed to touch or sample in showcase. I will be back to the booth today and hope I can speak to one of them today and get a better feel, I didn't bother them to much as I want them to get all the new business they can. I can tell you this its only going to get better as they are selling the heck out of this brand. This is going to blow up big time. Also I saw a girl and camera guy from Beverage industry magazine talking to them taking photos so I assume we see an article in that mag. I also saw on FB that Bevnet was also at the booth. They eyes of the beverage industry is now on Hangover Joe's as they have reinvented themselves with a totally unique brand and product. I also saw people discussing the Hangover Product they have it in the booth but most the focus is on Git-R-Done-Energy
thesmalls let me explain. I have to say I am impressed with how you explain it to the folk who cannot get or understand this company, you present the stock side quite well let me address the beverage side. The location is golden for the booth. Also they are really not even splitting the company they are with is a distributor of the brand. HJOE basically is taking over that booth for location and it will be all HJOE. But they also are in the showcase area also of the shoe and only limited number of brand get to show case there distributor who has been a NACS member for over ten years had rights to it so this also was another reason for doing this plus the have a full page ad in CSP the magazine being handed out to thousands as they come into the show featuring the brand and the booth. They also are being shown by a huge distributor pugs and featured in Pugs are which is 10 x 20 I believe. Pugs is massive and so HJOE will be featured in three area in this show. This is very smart on their point but I expect after the show we will see a lot of press as many distributors are going to bring this brand onto the counters. Come Jan 1 so many beer guys such as myself will loose monster as it will roll onto Coke trucks there is going to be millions and millions of dollars lost in the market so distributors are looking to pick up items to fill this lost revenue. This is what open the market for Vitamin water so many who are not beverage people don't know when Pepsi bought Sobe back in 2000 that what open the door for Vitamin water. Vitamin water only gained and really got distribution when Pepsi took out Sobe and distributors scrambled to fill the void. The energy market and the healthy market is only going to grow but this is a major opening and HJOE is the right brand at the right time to gain market share. If you listen to other on here who don't have a clue and try to influence public opinion out of their own personal bias then you never will understand the play that is being made and is going to happen in this space. The booth location I did look is golden but there actually in multi places in this show plus you know the media attention that will come as well. This is just the start as the brand is now just launching. So get ready its going to be a wild ride yet to come in 2015 and beyond.
You are so correct. I leave in the morning for Vegas and will be at the national convenience store show where this product will be officially launched. We will see a lot more stores and chains bring this brand onto the counters in 2015. The future is very bright. This product sells very well the longer it is on the counter the better the sell through rate. I expect we will see some decent revenue on this next Q but the one after will see much more growth and the brand will continue to move as we go also the hangover recovery shot is going back into stores and they will leverage Git R Done to help grow that product as well. I urge anyone who really wants to get a look at this company and who wants to understand what is going on to attend NACS show as you will see with your own eyes. They are going to Git R Done this is exciting times for the company and brand and I look forward to witnessing it with my own eyes plus I got to look at some new products for my company as well.
Oilfieldmafia you are correct the product is out there and you have went in your market and looked. It's in quite a few places in north and east Texas. I have actually spoke to the distributor in North, Texas and he will also be at NACS and I look forward to meeting him. Flaflyersfan would have you believe this product don't exist its a fairy tail but we all know its out there and you can find it on counters here in Georgia. The thing is HJOE has actually posted store names and locations in many cities on their FB page from Tulsa, to Orlando ,Cleveland, New Orleans, Michigan, Washington, Oregon state it goes on so anyone could verify this as true. This has been a soft launch that meaning its has went into limited number of stores different markets and different demographics. Matt Veal is big on data. I have had the opportunity to speak to him on the phone and they are seeing the sell through and getting the numbers back from us distributors. NACS is also real and they will be there and it's a great show to really understand beverages and distributors etc. This is always in October for a reason. Buyers from the largest stores to the smallest and distributors and DSD house all come to find new innovative products and to launch new brands in the coming year and to slot new brands into store planograms. We will see lots of growth coming in 2015. This is actually the official launch of the brand at this show and at the Bevnet show in December. We will see press and authorizations and sales increase after this show. This is the end of the soft launch, now they will focus on larger scale distribution. Veal is going about this correct. I would like to point out he has turned ever public company he has ever ran from the red to the black. He turned a company around that was 22 million in the whole. He is the right quarter back for team Hangover Joe. Anyone looking at the company should come to the NACS show and view for yourself to help your DD. They will also be featuring the Hangover Recovery Shot on its re-launch and they will force placement using Git-R-Done and vise versa with Hangover product buyers. There are going to be a lot of new products to look at and I personally every year find new products. I found The Hangover Shot at this very show in 2009 when it was a kit and long before the Warner deal etc.
The company is not selling shares they never sold one yet that has been reported none of the founders or the CEO nor does Matt Veal the CEO have a new Mercedes. The company might of bought a car I don't know but Veal don't have one. I will be with them this weekend as I am leaving for Vegas Friday for the NACS show. I will be their to witness sales first hand at their booths unlike many on this board I actually attend the events and see with my own eyes what is going on and I experience also in the market how the product sells. The longer on the shelf the better the sell through for this brand. They also have a few distributors showing the product in other booths and also its in the showcase area of new products I have learned. This is a massive show and I expect they are going to do lots of sales and this will be the official launch of the brand to the beverage community then they be with Bevnet in December in California its only up from here for sales. This will be the end of the soft launch and the beginning of the push toward store planograms and chains going into 2015.
Well you must be talking to another Matt Veal because I just got off the phone with him as I am meeting the team in Vegas as I am attending NACS. MR. Roberto is running the booth at NACS I just learned he will be the guy running the booth. I told Veal about reading this post and he laughed and said if that was the truth, I sure would not be giving inside information without a public filing or a release. He said its still in the process of the government in Japan and its moving slow. We have had an attorney in Japan pushing it but nothing is different than our public filing at this time he said one of the ingredients in the shot only in last 18 months has been consider as a medical prescribed item and its under a appeal review but they are hopeful. He also said to me this is why I don't read the stock boards. I just spoke with him less than 10 min ago. So I got it straight from the horses mouth. I don't know why you would say this when its not true but on the other hand their is so much on this board I read that our fairly tails. I assume an attempt to pump the stock and HJOE has no bigger fan than me with the company, but I am for setting the record straight and according to Mr. Veal he has never spoke to you today.
I very much liked what Matt Veal letter to shareholders and what he said yesterday. I think Veal knows what he is doing and he really hit the nail on the head if you have been around as long as me with HJOE. I first met these guys in Chicago in 2009 at the NACS show when the hangover product was a kit with pills and a shot long before the hangover movie deal and long before Git R Done Energy. So I have been around as a distributor with them since the start. They sure have had challenges from the guys who took the company public and under funded it to the manufacture in Georgia, screwing up product & shipments and causing millions in damages to the brand and shareholders. They have yet survived most would of failed, that spoke also volumes to me. My advantage is I have been in the beverage business over 23 years not the stock business. I was there when Hansen started what became Monster. I didn't believe in it. We sold it but it didn't sell great at the start they struggled ,i never thought they ever could get cooler space and we dropped it as I didn't think this could stand up to Coke or Pepsi etc. I was there when 5hr was a pill for Hangovers before it became a shot, who remembers that i have a case still in our warehouse that has to be collectible by now haha. 5hr almost went out of business 3 times and Monster the same both struggled hard very hard to survive. Back then no one saw this energy business or hangover business evolving. Yesterday Pepsi and Coke announced they would be lowering calories and sugar in soft drinks because consumers want healthier choices also the government is all over these energy companies based on Caffeine and if Hillary is the next President then imagine what will happen as government will know what is best for people. I am watching HJOE go through the hard times, like I did with these companies above. The advantage I have is I sell the brand and many others, I see the sell through and I am not a penny stock player. I am a long term player on this company because I believe in what I have seen from the start. Who has ever sold two million in Hangover Recovery Shots only this company and built the category before PLN unlike people like to blame management but PLN screwed it up that why there is a multi million dollar suit going that Veal mention. Also lets address the default that was cause direct by PLN it was not a bill thrown in a draw they couldn't pay it because their manufacture had so screwed up product and couldn't keep up and had lied and put out product that was defective etc. For you new here you need to know the real facts of what happen. I was there we couldn't get shipments and I am in the same state as PLN. I watch people who loved the company now in 2 months of it launching turning coat and running they are penny stock players looking for a short term hit this is a 3-5 year deal here and if you understand beverages and you look at the history of other companies it gives great insight into what it takes to create what we call in the industry share of mine. If you sold brands and watched beverages you would understand this, if your a penny stock player you don't . I keep buying now knowing what will happen in the next few years. This company potential with Veal at the helm is better than its ever been. He has turned ever public company he has ever ran around this is a true fact. This is a great product and it does move well and it has branding its a healthy functional beverage which is on target for the market trend in the energy space. Don't take it from me read Bevnet do your own DD. For those who are not weak at heart this is a company that only comes around every now and then with guys who are fighters and survivors. They are real which is not like most penny stocks, they have a real product on counters and it will only continue to grow. He who does not run will win in my opinion like no other. I watch the turn coats and relies in a lot of ways this country is not like it was even 20 years ago this is not my fathers generation of WW2 guys and I guess being raised by him makes me a bit like that I can stomach this etc. This is good for a guy like me who understands beverages and consumers and trends and not stock. The next year will be very interesting those who stay the coarse and follow the beverage market and not the stock market will be the huge winners in the in with the stock. As the stock will catch up in time to what happens in the real market place the counter where consumers vote daily one shot at a time. The market cap of 800K would suggest that the company can only sell 300K a year. They will do that in Vegas in a few weeks or more, so this is so under valued if you understand beverages and what is going on in the beverage market and not the stock market. I hope my view helps some of you and others good luck if you decide to move on.
Great Post On FB by Matt Veal! Yes the beverage shows and more counters and more distributors are the answer. It is a Marathon not a Sprint! Below is from Matt Veal Via Facebook & Twitter.
A Message form CEO Matt Veal to Shareholders of HJOE!
Management of Hangover Joes Encouraged about Future in the Face of Stock Volatility
Again this year Hangover Joes (along with many companies) is facing significant pressure on its stock. Although we will discuss the reasons later in this letter, the first questions we think that need addressing are: 1) Where are we going, and 2) Do we have what we need, at least on a priority basis.
On these two fronts, we have cause for optimism over time. On the second question, being veterans of challenging circumstances, Hangover Joes management has tried to maintain adequate reserves of cash, receivables, and inventory, keep overhead minimal, and prioritize spending to get the maximum return it can. While in each case the company would like more reserves, fewer pressures on resources and more opportunities with higher short term recoveries, we believe we are strong enough to survive the fall months at a minimum while funding the main opportunities we have.
This would all be pointless if the prospects of the company were dim. They are not dim; they are very promising. Our test market reports continue to be favorable in what we think is the most important area, retail sell through of the product. We do have test markets with some of the well-known retail outlets we have dealt with in the past, and those test results to date are promising. Of course, we would prefer the tests be completed quicker, and there have been a few delays that we did not hope for but find understandable in the process of actually putting product on the shelf in some cases.
While we have positioned the company carefully to withstand our major challenges, we also continue to be encouraged by favorable trends in the energy drink area. The market has shown increasing desire for healthy energy, which is our main focus with Git-R-Done Energy, even to the point of some movement away from established brands in the beverage space. These long-term trends are very favorable for us.
We continue to be cognizant of the stock price and pressures it places on our shareholders. The factors behind this include some pressures that should subside but some that will continue. The most challenging trend which will continue to be with us for another 90 days at a minimum, is the selling pressure from the issuance of stock settlement of one of the two major lawsuits from our past. In terms of size, and resources obtained for what was expended, this has clearly been painful. We remind shareholders this was necessary to stay in business as we had defaulted on a large note due to some problems shipping orders in early 2013. The second major litigation (with our former manufacturer who we believe caused many of these problems in the first place) is where we hope we can recover damages against them in proportion to the pressures we currently are facing on our stock, but that is for the legal system to decide.
We have also had some dilution from convertible notes. This has been criticized unfairly by some commentators since these parties have given us funding to support the positive statements above and the release of the very promising Larry the Cable Guy Git-R-Done Energy Drink. However, when combined with the stock price pressures from lawsuit settlements, the reserves from convertible notes do have some limitations on future potential funding's so it is crucial that we increase sales at events such as the upcoming NACS show in October and into 2015 with more shows and advertising and adding more distribution channels.
And of course, even if we had no selling pressures, the greater market for small caps (Russell 2000) has had a difficult year and September and October are historically the worst months in the stock market, so some pressure would exist even if we had no challenges to face! While we are considering promotional things for the stock, we have yet to devise a plan that makes sense given the constraints discussed above. This is subject to change as we continue to strive to maximize the benefits of being publicly traded.
In summary, we hope this letter is responsive to the legitimate concerns some of our investors have raised recently. We cannot eliminate volatility at this point but we believe we can withstand the current pressures and build a company that will absorb these challenges, recover quickly, and ultimately far outshine the current fears. For those who can stay with us, we remain grateful and for those who are frustrated, we understand but want to remind them that their initial reasons for coming aboard were good ones and are still good, even if we had some things happen none of us hoped for.
