Looks like Zenabis has shipped vape cartridges to Nova Scotia with New Brunswick getting them next. They are to be used with PAX Era vaporizers, which are the most popular of the high end quality vapes.
They are using in house extraction so the margins should be high enough to keep the prices lower than the competition. Just like they do with their flower. They price for the everyday smokers for repeat business. Smart.
Big Cannabis 2.0 news!!! English speakers will need google translate.

Citizen Stash Lollipop Flower is a "Weekly Bud Pick" by Wiid Boutique employees Matt & Adrian. It's the Budtenders that steer customers in the right direction. If they like your product you know it's getting recommended. Currently #3 most popular bud on their website. Check it out under "Meet The Team". Like :)
Once again Aurora is dragging the entire sector down. Aurora never understood that the cannabis community doesn't want to buy from a faceless conglomerate with no local presence. They should have built out 100's of smaller facilities tied to the communities they serve.
Zenabis has such a large share of the NB market because they are local, and employ the citizens that live there. The same is true for the craft growers who live in the communities they serve.
The Aurora model of giant facilities serving the world was never going to work. Zenabis was heading down that path, but changed course to providing affordable products that can compete with the black market, not other LP's. Grabbing black market share is where the opportunity is.
The Aurora business model is now a proven failure. Meanwhile the small craft growers are stealing premium market share producing quality flower, and the smart mid sized LP's like Zenabis are selling at or below black market prices for their share. Something the Aurora's of the world can't afford to do. imho glta
Highland has two producta in the Top 15 most popular flowers at Wiid Boutique in Regina SK. Sensi Wizard, and All Kush. Highland also has two pre-rolls in the Top 20. Eastern Dank and White Lightening. Starting to see Highland products everywhere in SK. Not bad for a small cap in Nova Scotia :)
Really hoping Experion gets their financing soon. Citizen Stash is becoming a hot best selling brand so they need to strike while the iron is hot. Even if they have to lease grow rooms in the beginning. There is plenty of under capacity LP's out there who might what to lease or partner up. Now its the brand and quality that matter more than where its grown, or who owns the property.
To me Zenabis and Supreme look very similar. Both have about the same amount of shares, and licensed production capacity. I'll be watching both closely when they report. I like both, but if I can buy the same production potential at 1/4th the price I'll take Zenabis :)
Zenabis Stock Pops After Delivering Largest Ever Harvest
https://potstocknews.com/zenabis-stock-largest-harvest-december/
Zenabis finally got noticed in a positive way today. Got to give Zenabis credit for being so transparent with their monthly production reports. Like :)
ZENA having a nice day today on the December update news. Good volume but not enough to make it bottom heavy. Hoping for a quick rise to earnings on Feb 18th. With the cost cutting and record shipments in Decenber, ZENA just might have a surprise coming for everybody. Hope so anyway :)
Remember when ZENA took a huge hit for being a first mover in rightsizing a cannabis company for the future. Negative articles on ZENA were everywhere. Now that Aurora is doing it, no big deal. In fact Seeking Alpha calls it "another step toward running a sustainable business". Finally the media narrative is changing to the reality that rightsizing is good. imho glta
Hoping when the Canary facility becomes operational the share price will respond accordingly. Now that the facility is built and licensed it's just a waiting game. The award winning Serious Seeds genetics are what makes this LP stand out to me. Premium craft grown flower is what customers are looking for. Over 1M shares traded today so I'm expecting news soon. glta
Citizen Stash Lollipop Flower already a Top 3 most popular strain at Wiid Boutique in Regina SK. Also available at Prairie Cannabis in Prince Albert SK. No surprise why it's so popular, THC content 25.1%. Like :)
Correction-Cannabis NB reported $11M in sales for Oct, Nov, and Dec. So it would be 38% of $11M total, if ZENA is correct about their 38% market share in NB. Looks like the NB market is starting to grow quickly. Like :)
This article on Zenabis came out during the awaited Q4. According to the article Zenabis believes they have 38% market share in New Brunswick.
Cannabis NB just reported $11M in sales for December. If you do the math Zenabis could have made $4,180,000 in New Brunswick just in December. Add in Oct and Nov sales and they could beat Q3's revenues from one province alone.
Add in all the other provinces, and this could be a record quarter for the company. I've seen it posted that the official release date will be Feb 18th, but I haven't confirmed it yet.
Zenabis hopes new, $5 Re-Up brand will take bite out of illicit markets in Atlantic Canada, Saskatchewan
https://www.thegrowthop.com/cannabis-news/zenabis-hopes-new-5-re-up-brand-will-take-bite-out-of-illicit-markets-in-atlantic-canada-saskatchewan
Zenabis is currently undercutting the competition, and hopefully stealing black market share by selling $160 ounces on Cannabis NB. With ZENA's low cost to grow they could compete successfully with the black market growers. Not just on price but on product safety. They tested black market weed in Europe, and what they found is disgusting.

Mac Is Back at BC Cannabis stores. Citizen Stash MAC 1 is back in stock online sporting the same mind bending 25%-30% THC content. That bud is warped. Get it while you can lucky Canadians. We'll see how long it lasts. Day 1 in progress :)

Citizen Stash Lollipop and Creamsicle whole flower strains now available at The Pot Shack. Sounds delicious. Man The Pot Shack gets all the best fire. Saskatoon residents are lucky to have them.
Biome is quietly building their Highland Brand without a lot of bells and whistles. With average volume under 100K most cannabis investors don't even know they exist.
Fortunately I do because I watch the best sellers at the retail stores and invest accordingly. Now that we have gotten through the capacity craze that bigger is better, we can move on to better is better phase.
Now its like when cigarette branding was in its infancy, and the smaller cigarette makers were fighting for market share. The ones that grew better more flavorful tobacco became the winners over time.
It really doesn't matter how much you produce if it doesn't sell. That's why I only invest in best selling craft growers that care about quality like Biome Grow, and just a few others. Believe they will be amongst the winners at the finish line. imho glta
There are some really informative graphs that include Zenabis in this article on Organigram.
It shows ZENA's revenue per gram going up while other LP's are coming down. Also ZENA's production costs per gram are one of the lowest in the industry. Their SG&A per gram is below Canopy and Supreme, but still too high. Believe we will see this metric going down across the board for all LP's trying to cut costs.
After reading this article on Organigram I feel pretty good about ZENA's position in the market. Especially at this share price compared to the other LP's. Hoping once the rights offering shares get sold by retailers leaving the sector the sp will move up. Volume is back to average so it might be close to over. MM's just vacuuming up the last of the scared shares. imho
https://grizzle.com/organigram-earnings-q1-2020/
Agree the valuation was affected by the decisions of the ex ceo. He had grand ideas of 400,000 KG's of capacity before the market was ready. Fortunately he was removed before more money was spent on unneeded capacity construction.
Now ZENA is focused on getting their 100,000 KG's of licensed capacity profitable. I'd rather invest in a rightsized company that can sellout what they produce, than a overbuilt behemoth taking product back from the retailers. But that's just me :) gl
Took all day but I finally got filled. People aren't giving their Westleaf shares away like they did before the merger with QWEST.
The shares QWEST got for the merger went to private investors who backed QWEST as a private company. They aren't penny flippers looking for a quick buck. Start up investors are usually in it for the long haul payoff.
Low volume since the merger doesn't indicate new owners jumping ship. Just because they added merger shares doesn't mean the float has changed that much from the 98M it was before. If the new owners remain longs the share price should move up when the sector improves.
In the meantime I'm happy to buy at 52 week lows. To me the company has been making all the right moves to cut costs, increase cultivation capacity, utilize newly licensed extraction lab for QWEST concentrates, and continuing to build the QWEST ultra-premium brand all across Canada.
When I get down about the share price I read reddit reviews of QWEST products, and it makes me :)
QWEST RESERVE MAC 1. 22.69% THC 0.5%CBD PACKAGED ON 2019/12/03

Trichome Financial doing a good job picking cannabis small caps for investment. Now they have picked two of my favorites, Experion and Heritage Cannabis. Heritage is a white label extractor for Cronos, and Zenabis. It might be smart for Experion to partner with Heritage for concentrates now that they are both Trichome investments. Use their funding to build out cultivation, and let Heritage handle the extraction. Nice to see the small caps getting the funding they need to grow :)
Have to believe Canary is getting ready to grow. According to the 8-K on CBDY's ihub quote page they received the first tranche of $350,000 from a $1,000,000 financing on 12-26-19. Hopefully we will be getting the details soon. Get some of those Serious Seeds growing :)
Highland Cherry Burst Flower now available at The Pot Shack. Highland White Lightening still in the Top 5 most popular products for the second straight week. Higher THC at a better price than the competition will do that for you :)
Big volume yesterday. News coming???
Haven't heard much since the facility got its license in October. It does take time to go from license to actual production so maybe cultivation is getting ready to begin. That would be great news for sure. Something seems to be going on with high volume coming in. imho
Moving on. glta
That's a good question. The newly licensed facility alone is probably worth more than their market cap. The company is projecting 3,600 KG (3,600,000 Grams) per year in output, which at $5 per gram wholesale would be $18M in revenues annually. Possibly more because their partnership with Serious Seeds will give them access to the highest quality genetics available, that should bring top dollar market prices.
They do have a lot of shares outstanding, but the actual float is only 61,094,567 as of 11-14-19, according to the OTC website. The company isn't newsy, and needs to be more active on social media regarding their progress towards their first harvest timeline, but this share price doesn't seem to reflect the potential of a Health Canada licensed facility getting ready to grow premium craft cannabis.
Taking a starter position before they start making news again. This sectors valuations seem crazy to me. glta

Hopefully ZENA's sp will start rising before the upcoming Q4 release. We already know how much cannabis they harvested from the monthly reports, and can make a guesstimate on what they sold, but there have been no figures released on the propagation business since the Q3 report. This is the wildcard that will make Q4 very interesting :)
**NEWS** Cannabis Company Cancels Plans For Retail Store In Altona
https://www.pembinavalleyonline.com/local/cannabis-company-cancels-plans-for-retail-store-in-altona
Looks like new management nixed the Altona location. It would be hard to justify the cost for such a small community. Westleaf will need a scaled down cost effective retail store concept if they want to enter smaller rural markets. Best to focus on the major markets for now. Another smart move by the QWEST team. Like :)

Nice article on Westleaf's big picture outlook. Bring on the QWEST concentrates. glta
Thank the heavens that Zenabis isn't one of those cannabis companies sitting around with half empty greenhouses waiting for demand to increase enough to finish them. Zenabis has close to 100,000 KG of licensed capacity, which is plenty for the current market demands. As demand increases they can retrofit Langley in phases with cash flow.
In the meantime the non cannabis square footage is still producing revenue growing flowers and vegetables. So many companies bought huge propagation greenhouse businesses thinking they would need all that space for cannabis, but surprisingly didn't continue the legacy business revenues until they did. Now many of these greenhouses are back on the market, but this time it's a buyers market.
Zenabis has made its mistakes, and even had its own grand plan to rapidly retrofit Langley, until oversupply became an issue. Fortunately Zenabis got in later in the game when it was becoming clear that you don't need a 500,000 KG facility now or anytime in the near future.
Unfortunately for the early movers they loaded on the debt and dilution during the capacity craze. Now the whole market is paying for their mistaken assumptions.
Hopefully this is the beginning of a new normal with rational targets and normal market activity, Back to fundamentals would be nice :)
If Aphria gets credit for making a profit off their distribution business revenues, then Zenabis should get the same credit if their propagation business puts them over the top. Fair is fair.
Did everybody see the Whistler Live Rosin for sale on the BC Cannabis Store website. Not surprised if you didn't because it sold out fast. In the picture it looked like honey cake batter poured in a circle. Priced at 149.99 per gram. Wow. Believe Aurora was first to market with live rosin. Congrats!!! glta
Experion's MAC 1, Lemon Zkittle, Lollipop, and Creamsicle strains listed as "coming soon" on the Fire & Flower website. MAC 1 is showing 26%-30% THC, and Lollipop is 22%-27% THC. Liam is growing the FIRE at Experion. Great job Experion team. Like:)
Namaste SOFTGELS look like pastel colored Easter eggs. Very appealing visual presentation. Available BC Cannabis Store.
QWEST released a new flower called Death Bubba on The Pot Shack website, and it looks mega fire. It's indica dominant with 22% THC, selling at $70 for 3.5 grams. Beautiful trichome covered flower waiting for anyone in SK :) Like :)
Zenabis has three of the four most popular oils at the Pot Shack in SK. Nasmaste Oil Sprays seem to be popular wherever they are sold. Check out the reviews from Cannabis NB.
Zenabis building a good reputation for concentrates, and reputation is everything without advertising. Can't wait for the vapes, dabs, shatter, hash, live rosin, etc. High margin income :) Zenabis only one year old, and just getting started. imho glta
Before the branding controversy GTEC seemed to be on a upward trend. The new stains were being highly rated by customers for quality, and potency. Shipments of products were selling out quickly on the BC Cannabis Store website. The BLKMKT brand seemed to be a hit until the Lift & Co Expo where GTEC unveiled its questionable tag line, Once you go BLK. This brought race into the picture, and permanently stained the BLKMKT brand for the future.
I give GTEC credit for pointing out their diversity, and honest intention to be nothing more than edgy, but now they must publicly pull the brand, or they could have problems with supply agreements from provinces unwilling to sell the brand, or retailers that see it as a risk to carry.
GTEC needs to further review their branding, and upon further review admit they made a unintentional, but insensitive mistake and discontinue the brand immediately. It would create some good press if done properly. It's time for GTEC to act or get more of this. imho glta

According to this article Zenabis Q3 propagation revenue, "fell drastically from $17.4 million CAD to just $4.5 million CAD, with the company blaming growing cycles at its greenhouses, seasonality, and the timing of customers’ orders for this sharp drop off."
Unlike cannabis, growing flowers and vegetables is seasonal. We now know that Q2 was a big $17.4M quarter, and Q3 was a smaller $4.5M quarter due to seasonality of customers orders. The holiday season occurred during Q4, which is one of the biggest flower selling seasons of the year.
Will Q4 be more like Q2 or Q3? Going forward I'll be watching, which quarters produce the most revenue for the propagation division. If the propagation unit produced another Q2 type result in Q4 it would put Zenabis right back in the ballgame earnings wise. Might just have to get use to some quarters being bigger than others. imho
