How I would give quite a lot to see DPBM's books, if there are any! Heh... :)
Bear with me on this, everyone, as I'm a little perturbed after realizing a few things today...
The only reason Wilf wouldn't want the stock to go up is because his private company is SHORTING it.
I'm not saying this is or is not the case. The only evidence for this is the fact that he VERY LIKELY bought discounted stock from DPBM, and sometimes private investors, such as Alexander Lindale, do this and short the stock (reference PIPE investments). There is no definite proof that he is doing this. However, the possibility looms.
Regardless, it is very strange that he is using his privately held company to provide "funding," at a discount, for his publicly held company. At least, it appears to be the case. I can't find an Alexander Lindale press release for DPBM, but we were on his website. I distinctly recall seeing it as one of the sponsored (the word used on the website) companies.
tommer, at this point, we are beginning to understand the pros for this stock (opportunities in the DR). This is very helpful in making investment decisions. However, I still do not fully understand the cons weighing in on this stock. I must weigh these. What I don't want, however, is to misunderstand them. If you see something that appears misaligned, please clear it up.
Charts of those companies listed in my previous post:
RKMB (announcement made June 2005):
SYGG (announcement made Oct. 2004):
AQGI (announcement made Feb. 2004) now HDIA according to Yahoo! Finance:
Hmmm...
I think I finally figured out what Alexander Lindale does. It is a private financing company. (It also is paid to promote stock.)
The way it works, if I understand correctly, is large amounts of shares are sold to Alexander Lindale at a discount. This allows the public company to receive a large influx of quick cash (rather than selling it through other means). If I am following this accurately, this is also called PIPE.
See here for more information on PIPE or Private Investment in Public Equity:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.asp?Message_id=15709476&txt2find=fyi
I'm not sure this is exactly Alexander Lindale's relationship with DPBM, but it seems to be the case for other companies.
For instance, see here: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0EIN/is_2005_June_1/ai_n13790613
"Alexander Lindale L.L.C. is pleased to announce that a contract has been signed between Alexander Lindale L.L.C. and Rocky Mountain Brands Inc. (Pink Sheets: RKMB) to provide services in the areas of information dissemination and financial assistance. ... To date, Alexander Lindale L.L.C. will purchase several million shares for cash and will also receive shares for services. ... Alexander Lindale L.L.C. may retain up to a 9% shareholder position in the company mentioned herein."
That last sentence is interesting because if they own 10% they're required to file with the SEC to sell. If they own under 10%, they can sell their discounted shares whenever they want.

Just go here to find PLENTY more (including PMGJ, the company fugeguy and cash are always complaining about): http://www.google.com/search?q=%22alexander+lindale%22&hl=en&safe=off&rls=com.microsoft%....
DPBM was listed on Alexander Lindale's website before it mysteriously disappeared last month (used to be myotcbb.com, you can still find some archives of it on the web). Therefore, I would say it is pretty safe to say that Alexander Lindale, Wilf's (the CEO of DPBM) private company, also bought DISCOUNTED shares from DPBM.
I'm beginning to wonder why Alexander Lindale, in the words of our fearless CEO, "Is doing very well this year."
On a side note, I'm not saying that they are using floating convertibles (also called death spiral convertibles) to allow them to safely short the stock. However, I wish there was a way to find out if they are. Regardless, even if they aren't using floating convertibles, I'm beginning to become very concerned about the relationship between Alexander Lindale and DPBM, whatever it may truly be.
Yep. I'm in Madison for the moment. I think I checked a few months back and there are at least 5 stations.

If I had a guarantee that these were built like Fort Knox, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. My current vehicle is extremely dependable. I'm hoping the Obvio turns out to be built very well, but I'll wait to see that first. Last thing I need is something that breaks down all the time, and I don't know anything about Brazilian cars (the Obvio is from Brazil, right?).
Very curious to see how the market accepts this vehicle. We have E85 gas stations in several places here. I like the 828 better than the 012.

Hey, dude. Your caps lock is stuck. Might want to get that checked out...
Sold the rest of my holdings today at $1.80. Double ain't bad, and the fact that my sales aren't posting spooked me. Still not sure what's up with that. Because of this, though, I have no idea how much has been bought over the past couple of days. This makes it difficult to gauge where the stock is headed.
Good luck to anyone else fortunate enough to get in before this hit a buck.
ROFLMFAO
HOW did I miss the 0.022s? That came out of left field. Must be somebody dumping for spending money this weekend. ?
Only thing I can figure, I would expect this thing to hit next week. The three day weekend gives extra time for the word to spread. Maybe I'm delusional... LOL
Strange that the boardmarks are still relatively low compared to some of these other symbols with less prospects.
In my opinion, it can be a good thing. We'll be able to snatch up more at lower prices before everyone runs to jump on the bandwagon. I would expect many are watching, but I'm beginning to wonder.
I agree. Holding strong. Watching for the pop. Wondering if we'll see a large increase in volume next week...
Quiet in here. 0.04 sux, but I guess I wouldn't be saying that 2-3 days ago. :)
You too, fugeguy. That goes to everyone else also. Hopefully, we'll see a nice upswing in the entire market over the next couple of weeks.
I sold a portion of my holdings today at $1.80. Strange enough, it is not posting on the Scottrade stats, or anywhere else it appears. Nonetheless, I have money in my account from the sell. Weird. I'm wondering if this is because it is a Mexican company??
Wow. I completely misread that. Now that I reread it, it seems Wilf actually did a good service, correct? He pledged shares for a loan the company didn't pay. Consequently, he lost that money (the company didn't reissue shares back to him).
Did I get that right?
I see what you are saying about the trip to China. It all looks good on paper, but whether or not that trip was "necessary" is an interesting thought. If not, it would provide reasons for concern. On the other hand, who would want to take a vacation in China? Not me. :)
Hmmm... possibly. If I remember, the board made him president and then a few months later (if that) they docked him to secretary. I wonder if they did that because he issued shares to himself.
Gulfbreeze, here are the numbers verified by the TA on 8/17 (see the post to which I'm replying):
O/S = 488,723,097
A/S = 500,000,000
Float = 225,951,707
I believe Commercial Concepts is CMEC, and Wilf acknowledged that he was a part of this company on the old blog. There was a short spat where Mike tried to point out that another of Wilf's companies bit the dust. Wilf said he took the stock to a dollar something when he was the lead.
Hmmm... so he issued stock to himself without asking the board of directors... interesting...
That action speaks for itself. I don't even need to comment any further on it. :)
VSTR merger news hit this morning at 7 AM. Ran to 0.08 (from 0.03) and is sitting at 0.05 now. Merger to be completed in 30 days.
Nice find. Thanks for the post. I'm surprised I missed this.
You ask him. I don't even go to the CCs anymore. That one with everybody teaming up on capted just reminded me too much of grade school. LOL :)
Ask him how much Tracy Bowden thinks the Scipion is worth. I meant to do it Monday, but like I said.
Yeah, I can just picture Wilf with an electric guitar and a pink mohawk ROCKING.
LOL
Still no word on the e-mail. I just used the Contact us form on their website, and I put in my free Yahoo e-mail for the return address.
It may take a few days...
I don't know. Just something I read on the Money 101 board a while back.
It'd be crazy if Wilf just up and moved to South America or something. Haven't pink sheet CEOs "disappeared" before? I haven't enountered it yet. I wonder if any pink sheet CEOs have faked their death... heheh...
Wilf is "friends" with everybody.
That's fairly shady if it happened how you say.
The only other possible outcome, which is Wilf screwing Tom out of the shares, makes Wilf look worse. However, I doubt this is the case because Wilf would get a bad name for his business.
I'd be very interested to hear Wilf's side of the story. He probably won't talk about it.
Anyone dare ask him?
I'm not disagreeing with you in any way. However, I'm reluctant to agree with you as well since Wilf didn't even sit on the board for PMGJ. He probably did dump the shares they paid him for his services.
Or am I missing something?
We had more than a pot of piss. We had Wilf's salesmanship (which was ever alluring back then). :)

Gap closing...
Nothing yet. Still early though.
Hopefully, they'll get back to me promptly.
Question: Is there anything positive about a company choosing to deregister (not forced)?
An obvious con (to me) is that it will be harder to sell shares due to the lack of market opportunities. This seems wretched. I'm wondering if there is a positive I'm overlooking.
Thanks for sharing your insights! :)
I'm not going anywhere either.
Sent an e-mail to the company. Let's see if I hear anything back. I'll post it if I do.
Getting impatient of being patient. Heheheh... I'm not about to bail though.
I should clarify something.
iHUB doesn't pick the moderators for the boards. At least, they don't pick in any of the cases I've seen. In rare circumstances, they may kick certain users off of boards.
Normally, whoever wants to create a board at iHUB can. You could if you like. I did yesterday, free. Since duplicate boards aren't allowed, whoever creates a board for a specific stock first gets to be moderator.
Therefore, PinkElephant was the first one here (or somehow he took over ownership of the board... not sure how that works). iHUB didn't pick him. On most boards, you will see the moderators participating in the discussion. In many cases, they do have their own agendas. In others, they don't.
I think PinkElephant's done a pretty good job in comparison to quite a few of the moderators I've found. If you post ANYTHING negative on the IMJX board, it almost ALWAYS gets deleted. The other day they deleted over 25% of the posts (and removed my post announcing that fact)! At least here, we can hear both sides of the situation (although we may often hear one side more than the other).
Note: There are iHUB specific administrator boards (e.g. iHUB Question and Answers) that are moderated by iHUB employees. Those are, of course, an exception.

Good morning.
Merger news today?
Jumped in this morning. Curious to see where this one goes...
