Read the posts below from people who have experience w startup companies. Everything always seems to take longer than planned. This is often true in our own personal lives.
Almost everybody,if not everybody I've known has made statements they don't follow through on. If you stopped being friends w such people you wouldn't have any friends at all.
Those problems and the issues you have to deal w in growing a Co at CWRN's stage encounter such problems many times over.
So,in the midst of the multifaceted logistics, just shoot Bob-don't give him a chance.
So he might have said "PLAN to have the video available next week".
Is that the real issue? Maybe the person they planned to do the video had delays in his/her own life. Doesn't mean he was lying-he intended to have the video. Haven't you ever made any promises that were not fulfilled for some reason, especially as to timing? If not,you are a unique person in control of every force around you and I've never met any such person.
Many companies email doesn't even work and my friends and I have only had replies from 2 or 3 companies-w CWRN being far more available than any company we have dealt with.
I don't understand the price movement on this stock.
1)They recently announced completion of the merger w a company expecting 10M plus revenues. Very few pennies follow through on announced LOI to merge. So that should've sent stock soaring.
2)Then 9-09 filing whereby insiders buy 2M restricted stock-always a good sign of confidence when insiders buy-in fact some stock services send out notice when there is insider buying to alert people to buy.
3)Third positive announcement in a week-hired somebody to do audited financials. Extremely few pennys have audited financials.
4).Recently receives a target price of .88. I've noticed pennys usually trade at about 1/4 of target at or soon after target is announced-on that basis alone should be .20 plus
5).Stock promoter Willy Wizard has been promoting this for a long time without compensation and has purchased almost 500k on the open market,so you know he has done his due diligence, and expects .25.
I know pennies are often crazy and illogical(as is the entire market)but what am I missing here? Why has price dropped instead of exploding on such a cascade of positive news?
Did the company ever plan on moving HQ from Houston before to be near a mine? This is one of many indications this effort is succeeding where others failed.
That may require the Cotton clan to move their residence or at least get another residence in the San Diego area. You don't do that on a whim. The directors have been staying in Ensenada til then-another good sign of on site involvement.
As far as the detail re trucking, that info was to provide reasoned facts to rebut the naked contention that it could not be done. Just more or less something that was of interest to many people to pass the time until shipment.
Except for a few miles of secondary paved Hwy to connect to Hwy one,all of the driving will be on Hwy 1 straight into Ensenada, with only one turn to the port ,where the bulk mineral loading area is- the southern portion of the port ,closest to Cwrn's mine. Thus there is very little city driving.
Hwy 1 is their biggest Hwy S of Ensenada-equivalent to a U.S interstate.
Since Ensenada is the largest population center in the area by far and is a well known tourist destination,I am sure it is well patrolled-including the meager 45 miles of Hwy 1 to the cut off to CWRN.
In addition to federal police ,there is a navy and an army base in Ensenada,as per tourist info posts, for additional security.
It is ridiculous to presume professional drivers could not make three ca 110 mile round trips in a 16 hour day-a total of 330 miles.
I've easily driven 500 miles in a 10 hour time frame,as I am sure many have, including many truckers. Others have already shown the math.
I don't know what Guadalupe you are referring to. This is the Baja 14 Guadalupe project, but it is not located by any town of that name. Look at the old posts, which show map of the area.
From Ensenada, follow Highway one(this is the main N-S Baja Hwy) south to the farming village of San Vicente, which is 52 miles from Ensenada.
Find the E-W road from San Vicente to the coastal hamlet of Erendira. See the secondary paved highway between San Vicente and Erendira.
CWRN's baja 14 project is north of the E-W road and east of and bordering the secondary paved highway, which proceeds almost directly north to highway one, making the distance from CWRN's mining site to Ensenada about the same as from San Vicente.
Besides google maps on this and yahoo boards, you can google Ensenada and use one of many interactive maps to explore the area.
Many simply ignore all progress or claim the pictures are a fake.
They obviously don't want the company to succeed- either because they got burned in the past or even more diabolical reasons.
At best "we didn't make any money so we sure aren't going to allow anybody else to make any money".
All evidence is ignored. E.g,after many posts indicate 3 roundtrips/16 hour day, they claim only one is possible, even though the distance is only about 52 miles on paved roads-mostly the best highway they have in the area.
My computer streets and trips program gives a distance of 52.6 miles from San Vicente to Ensenada and a trip time of 1hr and 6 minutes(not counting any construction delays).
The CWRN site is about the same distance, give or take a mile or two either way-not enough detail in Mexico in the streets program to use CWRN site as a designation,so travel time should not be much longer. Might be a few minutes to ten minutes longer each way(compared to passenger vehicles) if the trucks travel well below the speed limit.
So grtchck's(spelling?)calculations are pretty close but the distance is less than presumed(at least according to my streets program)and so the time might be shaved by a few minutes.
As CWRN site is W of San Vicente(closer to Ensenada by air)and has just a few miles of highway(bordering CWRN'S site)pretty much straight N to connect to Highway 1(the main Baja highway, which connects San Vicente and Ensenada).
Baja California is sparsely populated S of Ensenada for hundreds of miles-all the way to the tip (CWRN is S of Ensenada)so the roads should not be particularly busy,as noted by another post. The main activity in the area seems to be mining concessions,as per maps.
Authorities would quickly become aware of CWRN dump truck traffic and are already aware of any other such traffic and thus there would be no reason to flag or inspect the trucks.
Have a good weekend fellow wayfarers.
Thanks to you and pesquero(spelling?)for posting these pictures-if I remember right taken by pesquero, who lives not too far from the site.
I thought I would remind of the pictures here as they are separate from the CWRN'S own pictures posted 9-30 and have become buried beneath all the war posts. IF people don't believe a war is being fought at least re share price ,look at how the posts increased once it became evident CWRN was breaking out of the blocks(advancing).
To remind nervous nellies ,any time a company is on verge of breakthrough or makes the same, all kinds of negative groups(promoting their or their companies self interest)come out of the woodwork to depress stock price-sometimes while their employer is taking advantage of depressed price to buy-knowing the breakthrough has been made and soon will be reflected in the share price.
All of the people who have personally spoken to Bob including myself, and my friend who got me into this-seem to have a positive report-and he is no slick salesman,as you might even gather from his picture on the CWRN site-just somebody fighting the numerous typical battles it takes to get something like this off the ground, having learned some things from previous mistakes.
I don't know whats been causing high share volume on some days other than the posts about mm manipulation-which is typical in these situations.
I would ordinarily think such vol might indicate share issuance-there might have been earlier to pay permit fees-w the investor taking care of the equipment and CWRN taking care of the permit fees.
But do the math and you will realize the volume-10 million at .0005 is only $5000 would not touch the equipment or other costs-and would only cover the pocket change for these initial startup costs. So it is not likely that CWRN would or could raise much money at these low share prices-and they would know the damage such would cause-counterproductive to their companies health. They weren't issuing shares and had no plan to do so when I talked to Bob 8-31.
If they intended to raise money via share issuance it is not likely they would be doing so at a 52 week low-especially when price has been many times higher.
Think about it. They had more heads up re CWRN's direction than anybody so if they needed to raise more than pocket change logically they would/ve have done so months ago, when share price was much higher.
It is illogical for price to be this low but the groups I mentioned are able to manipulate price for a time. Once future seminal events occur, such as news of first shipment and general investment community discovery of stock, hopefully their stranglehold will be broken. With prices this low ask yourself who they are protecting- as they surreptiously claim.
If your long,at these share prices all you can do at this point is hold until these games are finished-whether days or weeks I don't know.
The only dirt roads are on CWRN'S site. CWRN borders a secondary highway to the west(see maps posted weeks ago on this site and yahoo under CWRN's location)which goes straight north a few miles to the main North -South Baja highway-highway "1" on the maps.
CWRN 's baja 14 site is a few miles west of San Vicente-the biggest town in CWRN's area.
If you look at a road map,the main Baja highway runs directly NNW from San Vicente to Ensenada pretty much in a straight line.
A private mining Co bordering CWRN indicated on its website that a new N-S 4 lane HWY is being built between CWRN's site and the coast but I don't immediately have more info on that.
Thanks for the info on the crusher and for keeping a pipeline open to Bob. Out of scores of penny companies my friends and I contacted Bob was the only CEO we could reach. Most pennies ironically ignore shareholders and some don't have PR's for 4 to 8 months at a time.
Trucking 1200mt/day would fill the 35000 ton shipment in 29 days.
Since he wants enough ready materials to keep the trucks rolling apparently for the first 3 shipments at least.
I guess I'll have to estimate shipping distance and speed. Without looking it up a 6000 mile transit to China at 20 mph would cover the distance in 12.5 days, and if their return load was in the near vicinity in China, the same ship could execute a round trip every 30 days or so,depending on loading and unloading.
I believe newer ships can do 30mph.
The newsletter and CWRN pictures of the crusher were posted 9-30-10.
So the crusher was on site before then. From previous contacts re movement of the crusher it may have been on site as early as Sept 7,if I remember right,so there could be considerable material ready for trucking already,as a fair amount of the loose 80000 ton floats had probably been stockpiled in prep for the crusher.
It would be nice if they could fill the trucks directly from the crusher(and I presume they could) like combines fill trucks,to eliminate any extra steps, but even at only 400mt/hr, it would require a lot of trucks to keep up w the crusher,so I would think the trucking would be the limiting factor. Just providing something else to think on,since there is so much garbage on this board now.
Posts have noted Sharon standing in front of the new crusher at the site in the pictures posted by CWRN a week or so ago,as well as mentions in newsletter and other posts.
Those who don't want CWRN to succeed reject any and all evidence of progress, irrespective of the damage they do to longs.
This was the good post I was looking for re the new crusher, which can do 650 metric tons /hour. There might have been another post re the crushers specs also.
At that rate 650 times 54 hours(which is surprisingly fast-am I missing something?) would equal a shipment of 35000 tons
and there is mention of possibly more than one shift.
So,unless there was significant down time with the crusher, that would not be a bottleneck in the process.
80000 tons of loose floats were already being collected in prep for the crusher prior to the crushers arrival,as can be seen in the pictures taken by pesquero(spelling?)and CWRN.
How many tons do those dump trucks hold? Anybody want to research that?
Just want to remind of this good post.
IF you step back and look at the situation a lot of fuss is being made over the exact date of the first shipment, some dishonestly using their self generated game to torpedo CWRN.
IT should be obvious that some people don't want CWRN to succeed and they will say anything in their vendetta against cwrn and don't care who they hurt in the process-a scorched earth process.
A lot of companies would love to have such a problem(re date of first shipment),because most pennys never achieve positive net income.
bboy post on 9-21-- Bob said first shipment would probably be 1st week November w 2nd last week November. Things usually speed up once
the initial glitches are ironed out and a rhythm is achieved.
Still looking for the detailed post re the crusher and its tonnage /hr posted sometime in September.
I think you are right.
MM's or big investors know they only have a few weeks to play this game(or less)until the first shipment or people wake up and recognize this is such an unusual opportunity. A ridiculously low share price in the face of tremendous progress and breakthrough.
Thats why paid ----(riso over at yahoo as you pointed out and now at least one here) have shown up to depress price so their
employers can buy stock cheap just before it jumps.
I agree also that some artificially set premature shipping dates as another excuse to try to kill the stock when their artificial shipping date is not met.
I believe one of the last persons who reported from Bob said 1st shipment would probably be 1st week of November.
If the crushers tonnage/hr was known and start date of same might give indication of first shipping, though I was surprised this shipping contract called for relatively large pieces of iron, which could speed up the crusher process.
The reason why certain people are not repeatedly asking, "Where is the crusher",is because Sharon is standing in front of a brand new crusher on site in the recent pictures supplied by CWRN. A post some weeks back-reporting directly from Bob- reported how many tons/hour the crusher would do.
That new crusher and the many other large new looking pieces of equipment in the pictures are good evidence there is a big investor. And soon there will reportedly be video posted on the website.
I.ve seen this with other stocks also when a stock is at the point of a breakout. E.G,another mining stock months ago trading at several cents and only a few thousands shares/day w a low float, yet mysteriously blocks of e.g. 125k would show on the chart at e.g. .001,which of course would demoralize and depress price for days.
Either market makers or an "explanation" given to me by brokers is that if a firm has buyers and sellers in house the firm can execute trades irrespective of the bid and ask. Of course they had no answer why any seller would sell so below market,in house or not,so I suspect it is one of the games mm's play to discourage and thus shake shares loose so they can buy cheap when they think a stock is going to rise.
Its not a draw, because you cannot be an objective observor,as you have repeatedly indicated you got burned in the past and wont accept the statistics that entrepreneurs on avg fail 5 times before success,as many famous historical people like Edison did.
In this recession many established blue chips have gone bankrupt due to market forces beyond their control and that applies even more to startups.
But disgruntled ex investors always put the blame on the company -ignoring those external forces that work against most such companies.
PAST failed attempts are in the PAST-which actually gives greater confidence re the CURRENT venture for Bob has no doubt learned some lessons from the past.
You better hope you are not judged for your past mistakes by the same unforgiving measure you use against Bob and anybody who might believe in the companies progress, for we all make mistakes.
I have never seen any other stock obsess over the most ridiculous details designed to depress the stock.
For the people who admit they are disgruntled ex-investors why don't you move onto something positive instead of making it your life work to commit continual character assassination against Bob and anybody who believes in the companies progress, progress independently confirmed by independent pictures of mining activity etc.
We certainly get your point -that you wouldn't believe it even if you were on site watching the production etc.
You certainly aren't stealing from longs out of the goodness of your heart.
You are obviously unteachable and are not going to change your mind-you cant live your entire life in the PAST.
All your questions have been answered ad infinitum by many people and posts but you totally ignore that and instead pose the same negative questions intended to depress/destroy. Those are the tactics of the puppet master and paid ----.
Not the approach of any investor-that would be suicidal.
I expected the cheap shot that I was a paid....it should be obvious from my posts that I am not-I'm tired of .... controlling the penny market through their culture of fear and attacking any company that makes progress and thereby destroying the market for anybody who bets on progress instead of destruction.
It is always easier to destroy as economic terrorists do rather than build.
Its the same as breaking into peoples homes and stealing their money and life etc.
The difference-due to my upbringing I had to make a choice between truth and falsehood very early and I believe all liars will have their part in the lake of ....rather than selling my soul working for an employer who is buying shares cheap(knowing CWRN is a rare penny stock breakthrough)while employing people to say the opposite to depress stock price.
China is gobbling up minerals from all over the world as if there were no tomorrow. Wars, including Japans entry into WW2(to preempt the raw resources needed for its economy, fearful the U.S would capture those materials-read a book on this-though there may be addtnl reasons)have been fought over minerals.
If you look at a worldwide mining map, you'll see people are shipping iron(and other minerals)from Chile and eastern seabords and both sides of Africa to China.
The shipping from Ensenada is many 1000's miles shorter than most of those shipping routes and therefore shipping costs are greatly reduced.
So it is illogical to suggest CWRN would not make money.
Also,CWRN'S trucking distance of only ca 50 miles to the port is assuredly less than many of those operations also.
Pure logic therefore dictates this would be a profitable operation.
Until months ago,as the largest importer of iron ,China was dictating terms. However that situation reversed itself and price of iron is therefore higher- selling at free market prices, the sellers of iron obtaining the upper hand,China's need for the iron outweighing its previous negotiating power.
Bigfoot, your 4 repeated posts w the same questions that lead to doubt, indicate the purpose is to depress share price and is inconsistent w your claim of being a shareholder.
All of your questions have been repeatedly answered-yet you ignore the answers and repeat the same questions designed to cause doubt-showing you are not interested in answers-as an objective observer or shareholder would be. These are the tactics of a paid ......
And please=the suggestion that CWRN forged the pictures-which is ridiculous-and pictures have also been posted by others and soon there will be video of the mining operations.
Some of the negative posts are disgruntled ex-investors but your method of operation sounds like a paid......
In all the talk about why share price didn't go up when the last couple of PR's came out, there are some possible simple explanations(there may be other factors also,as people have discussed).
Ever since the CWRN flurry of activity/breakthrough became evident in June, negative posters have hit the board often-especially on another board-including those who are paid so their employers can obtain shares cheap without raising the price.
The confusion created by the negative clutter prevents new blood from investing, thereby changing the supply and demand dynamic. The negative clutter KNOW this -they have a PLAN, whereas good people never seem to have a plan.
Meanwhile, the old blood is already fully in and don't immediately have more funds to commit.
This alone might largely explain why there is no change in price when ca 5 months ago this jumped 7 fold to .0071 on lesser news.
If this is the case, the dynamic may not change until:
1). The negative clutter is finished or out-shouted with the truth. In the case of the clutter who are paid, once their employers fill their quota of shares etc, they will either suddenly disappear or start promoting the stock.
2). OR when a broader pool of investors learn of the shipping contracts/upcoming revenue.
This broader pool could include penny investors-if stock newsletters start mentioning CWRN,
or,as mentioned the general investment community. My friend dragged me into penny stocks because neither we nor anybody we knew could find ANY blue chip steadily advancing once the recession hit- and pennys often buck the general trend. That has not changed despite running hundreds of stock screens and subscribing to "premium" stock groups.
3).Another way to break this dynamic is if more people spoke up w positive posts and due diligence to thus give new blood a chance to see the profit in investing in this stock.
But again good people don't usually have a plan and think good will automatically win. But it doesnt-I know-I grew up in a cult by birth and I see the same cult tactics being used here to deceive, confuse, distract, maim and destroy-the old magicians sleight of hand to get your eyes off the incredible recent progress and instead focus on the clutters claims that the pictures etc are faked etc and on ridiculous details that don't matter.
Whereas the other side-puppets on a string controlled by the same puppet master- has a coordinated plan.
And part of their plan is to eliminate good posts as I've experienced so that they control the boards.
There are other possible factors also which have been discussed by other posts but this simple and obvious explanation seems to be under the radar, except for one persons apparent open admission of his purpose.
It is something we the people who believe in this company and the facts have the ability to change, whereas there isn't much we can do about the manipulation of market makers etc that is being discussed-and thus the mm problem is ANOTHER distraction to get you eyes off the REAL problem-the above dynamic created by the negative clutter.
Also, as previously noted many expected more operational details to be forthcoming in the last PR. Perhaps the company thought the pictures they provided of the recent mine activity would be worth a thousand words.
Over time,as people recognize/digest the positive fundamental changes reflected in the comparatively non-operational items of the PR,they will recognize the company has turned the corner.
I have researched thousands of stocks-anytime a company has a breakthrough as CWRN has had,a barrage of posts tries to bomb it back to the stone age-and many times they succeed in destroying the company.
I challenge you to find a company that has the potential that CWRN has to break out right now and become a 10 plus bagger(30 plus bagger at this ridiculously low price) if this manipulation doesn't win.
I cant find another company this close to the manifest turnaround. But they chase people off and the people don't realize this scenario will be repeated on any penny stock that has a de facto breakthrough and so people can't win unless they stay, stand and fight for the truth. Otherwise the bullies always win.
There is a well tried method to this tag team manipulation.
They throw up an artillery barrage of accusations /doubts about the company ,knowing many will be turned away due to the resulting confusion alone, and people will think where there is smoke(created by the false allegations)there is fire.
Now the company forged pictures of site activity-please!!!
When does it ever end? Only when people stand up and refuse to be manipulated.
They know all they have to do is to get people to believe one little false allegation and they have them.
Then when people reply on point to their TOS violation posts they try to get the replies removed to eliminate/censor all believers.
The purpose of this tag team manipulation is always the same -to DESTROY.
They never accept an honest answer and they never really back down for their mind and purpose was determined a long time ago.
You can't negotiate w them for they will never back down-like puppets on a string.
Asked and answered.
All of your questions have been repeatedly answered, indicating no answer would satisfy and the purpose of these repeated questions(whose purpose is to create doubt) is to depress stock price,as many groups are trying to do in furtherance of their own self interest.
As previously noted in previous posts there are many reasons why price would be TEMPORARILY depressed.
When the general investment community(which isn't swayed by negative posts because they do their dd etc)and which would understand the importance of the items noted in the recent PR learns of shipments etc and or people stop succumbing to the mm's and these questions that unnecessarily create doubt etc, the stock will certainly rise.
Read the PR and the previous posts again. Your questions indicate you haven't read or understood previous posts or are purposefully...
Some complain the Cottons have too many shares and then that they don't buy up all the shares-contradictory. Once revenue starts rolling in they have said they will buyback 60% of the stock.
The flurry of activity, all the equipment in the pictures(by both independent picture takers and now by CWRN),plus permit fees etc all indicate there is a big investor-see previous posts.
RE dilution and pps read previous posts.
Due to open meeting laws in most states,a quorum of directors is not allowed to meet even accidentally at innocent social gatherings.
So the official board meeting is entirely proper, necessary and legally required and the typical notice for such a meeting has been given.
A reading of the PR continues to show unprecedented progress-many things that have not occurred before, including moving HQ from Houston to San Diego. Southern San Diego is only a 2 hour drive from the mine, and directors have been camped out in Ensenada, the nearest town of any size and where the shipping will occur-all good things confirming a sea change of activity.
Although on first reading some investors may have been disappointed because they wanted to hear more about the mining operations and permits and didn't understand the importance of the items listed in the PR. But at least we now have pictures of the current activity at the mine by the company itself, as some were demanding.
You are probably right. There are so many groups that try to depress stock price to shake people loose and then buy those shares cheap, knowing(often through knowledge they have personally obtained that is not currently available to us) the breakthrough has occurred. I hope this is their last big attempt before peoples eyes are opened and the company comes to the attention of the general investment community.
BTW,the continual attempts by some to erect unnecessary roadblocks.
Such as trucking. RE the trucking post, have you ever heard of account payables and account receivables. Every company has them-it is a normal course of business.
Whatever the trucking contract costs, the trucking company can front the trucking costs to be paid back from each shipment. There is nothing unusual about that.
If I were CWRN,as finances allowed,I'd do the trucking in house, for it would be more profitable in the long run as all vertical integration(the company handling as many aspects of the process as possible to keep profits in the company)is.
Trucks can also be leased or purchased on credit as necessary and perhaps once they have verifiable revenues via regular shipments they will do that.
What tonnage are the trucks you are envisioning? I assume the big piece of equipment Sharon is standing in front of is the crusher. Is that right, equipment experts?
Because the war for investors is obviously being fought on these boards, until the company begins generating income and thus becomes known to the general investment community.
Especially as the negative group you mentioned knows this and is trying to create so much confusion that it steers any new investors away and tires out current investors so they give up.
Simple supply and demand then pulls stock down despite company progress-that is the purpose of the group you mention.
If people who believe in the company don't fight back with true information, the group you speak of wins this war by default and often destroys the company in the process, and all longs lose.
HOW-by lowering stock price so low the Company can't raise necessary funds until they generate sufficient revenue, and then when the company does(if they still can),they scream dilution, when the true dilution is caused by the tactics of the group you mention.
Said group especially takes advantage of penny stocks by creating and manipulating a culture of fear in these uncertain economic times, knowing that most penny investors are unable or unwilling to do the dd to expose the groups economic terrorism.
During the worst part of the recession, regulatory agencies even forbid those groups activities in certain financial sectors- for they were helping precipitate the economic crisis.
If some of us had not waged a battle for the truth the group you mentioned would have pushed the stock much lower and the company may not have been able to raise funds for the permit-if that is where some of the volume of the last 2-3 weeks has come from. I suspect the powers that be charged much more for the permit than CWRN had expected or budgeted for-and you wonder why unemployment is so high in Mexico w the labyrinthine negotiations companies have to contend w there.
Delay in expected PR doesn't mean that anyone is lying. Cutting through all the problems and red tape to get these start ups going is time consuming and often takes longer than expected, just as things do in our personal lives.
Multiply that when dealing with outside groups like the govt.
As others have previously noted there are a lot of issues to deal with re these startups-its not as easy as many might think.
Based on previous PR'S I assume CWRN is waiting for confirmation of production permit(s) before issuing another PR.
Since many inappropriately use the word scam-a word of definition.
A scam, like fraud, requires a purposeful intent. To my knowledge none of those who have spoken w Bob re this current adventure see any indication of fraudulent intent.I know he was earnestly searching for investors before recent activity indicated he found one.
If a previous venture failed that is not surprising, for the average entrepreneur fails 5 times before he succeeds. Neither Einstein nor Edison succeeded the first time.
This one is too far advanced to fail at this stage in my opinion(if the PR's and pictures are truthful and I have no reason to believe otherwise)-just have to deal w the usual delays.
To answer a previous persons points:
1). Deep drilling wasn't needed because deep trenches had already been dug as per the website by a previous company mining iron for industrial cement. And by the steep topography which confirmed a deep deposit.
2). This should not be surprising, since other posts have noted CWRN is surrounded by other iron mining etc concessions. As per maps and mining concessions the backbone of this part of Baja appears to be composed of iron-a neighbor of CWRN's has silver also.
3).Bob has posted info and pictures re the shipping lay down yard for a long time now, including the deepening etc of the port to accommodate 75000 ton vessels.
4).There is no law or reason that requires CWRN to speak to a trucking contract at this time. There is certainly no call for a 1970's style teamster/mafiosa contract, which is not even viable in the U.S.,with 20% real unemployment-not counting underemployment. And reportedly unemployment is much greater in Mexico.
Thus it would make sense for CWRN to do the trucking in house, which could avoid many problems, not to mention unnecessarily giving profits to another company.
5). I listed every piece of equipment noted on the website and all other posts and by a neighboring concession.
I agree. This is no longer theory but each spool their represented at least 1km thread I believe from a single silkworm. News conference opened up further application possibilities than I'd seen.
Dropping partly because penny newsletters temporarily not promoting so they are chasing the newest thing since they are into the latest promotion and the science and viability and promise is beyond most penny traders. At some point real investors, including institutional investors will get involved and this will climb. They probably could not get involved prior to the conference.
Bashers/shorters have penny investors brainwashed re dilution.
The very reason these companies go public is to issue shares to fund until they produce sufficient internal revenue. The important thing is not issuing of share but at what price they are issued and near term or eventual stock price resulting from issuance.
If a company w one cent stock price issues shares for contracts or employee pay at 2 cents /share,that is ENHANCEMENT,not dilution and so on.
Without production eventually the bashers-and there is a highly paid CWRN basher working for a company which knows CWRN has defacto turned the corner -would win and shares would be worthless.
So,if a company issues shares-e,g,to pay production permit to thus enable production, that share issuance benefits stockholders and eventually results in stock enhancement of 1800%,as posted by a previous post, based on the experience of these ventures beginning production.
Bashers/shorters have people so brainwashed. Public company MEANS issuance of shares by definition(this is NOT criminal as bashers would have you believe but rather is necessary) until self generated income-then many buy back those shares eventually at a higher price.
Once income begins to be generated this will not matter.
Some penny companies have ca 20 billion shares and are not near as close to revenue as CWRN.
imo.
Average investors like us can trade after hours w some brokers also. However we would not do so w this stock, for every broker I researched that allows penny trading after hours charged an extra commission of .005/share. So obviously it wouldn't make sense to pay a commission 7 times higher than the share price,so it has to be mm's etc.
From their previous filings Bob was tapped out-having,according yo those filings, spent 1.6 million dollars as of the last such filing 9-09-not all on this venture but also on a previous Mexican iron mine project-see the website, and there was only a recorded expenditure of ca 15000/quarter.
Then as I noted and people can see from the press releases the last few months there is suddenly a flurry of activity-after months of PR'S focused merely on the spot price of iron etc.
Apparently the private investor wishes to remain anonymous for now or they would have released that info-there are legitimate business reasons for the investors anonymity at this stage.
I read scores of news sources/week but back in June from one of those sources I read about CWRN's negotiations w an investor. Whether those negotiations were fruitful I don't know but Bob told my best friend-whom he spoke with and also traded emails w several times-and who got me into this crazy penny game(because nobody could find blue chips seriously advancing in this great recession)that he was looking for investors. That was prior to June.
My friend is a big contractor himself having built huge distribution centers etc for a major chain. Bob invited my friend to come visit the site and of course has invited interested shareholders to come see the site a couple times in the last year. My friend had good communication w and believes in and trusts Bob. My friends brother lives in Southern Calif but also has a place in Mexico, and advised my friend not to go because there was a raft of kidnappings of rich Americans for ransom-so my friend didn't go. I don't think his brother realized that CWRN would have security and I don't think the relatively isolated CWRN mining concession would be affected, but he erred on the side of caution for the sake of his family.
The machinery in the pictures is modern and expensive, even if just leased(and I don't know that it is leased),and all the road building and construction activity shown in the pictures cost money,as do the permits, and the labor. There are good roads to the port only 50 miles away- to answer another persons question.
The website noted that the govt had already approved the land use in 2008 but CWRN did not have the $60,000 to permit the Guadalupe portion of Baja 14 mine project. According to recent PR's they are now permitting additional ares and building roads to additional areas. I have accounting/economic/law degrees etc ,did land use planning for many years, and was President of a land mgmt org for 10 or more years.
Once the land use is approved(already done and CWRN is surrounded by other mining concessions),the exploration permits are issued and the company expends funds in RELIANCE thereon, the govt CANNOT deny final permits-in western societies which recognize individual and property rights-its only a matter of permit fees and bonding(which shouldn't be a problem because the area is uninhabited and surrounded by other mining concessions).
You don't permit and prepare additional areas without considerable financial backing which you are confident of.
With lesser financial backing CWRN would at most be staying w the $60,000 permit-not adding additional permits or building roads to additional mining deposits. After all, once production started on Baja 14,they could use the income generated to permit the additional sites and build roads to them at that time. So Bob is signaling a sea change-meaning this has really been ramped up,and I doubt that he won the lottery.
Thanks for contacting Bob bb521. Good job. I don't have his cell #.
There was one other possible reason for the delay-as you note-getting equipment through customs. Though I didn't think there would be much problem there.
The last reported contact w Bob prior to your call indicated the crusher should have arrived by last Teusday at the CWRN site by my calculations after passing through customs at the U.S/Mexico border crossing of Tecate. The post re that equipment was probably 2 1/2 weeks ago.
I didn't see a crusher in the pictures. Prior to taking it to Tecate the crusher was reported at Long Beach,Ca(de facto suburb of LA,where people have oil wells in their small front yards and the air is so thick with oil you don't know how people live there),which could mean it came from there or was brought in by ship to Long Beach-a major port.
Nowadays you sometimes have to get a recreational boat inspected before launching it in the local lakes to make sure it isn't carrying noxious or invasive weeds or crustaceans etc. So I suppose this problem could be multiplied at an international border, though I wouldn't think that would cause much delay unless such noxious species were found.
They reportedly already have hydraulic hammer on site which they were going to use to break up the loose 80000 tons iron floats in prep for the crusher and the website indicates they plan on using a magnetic separator. What other equipment do they need that is not already on site?
The very fact Bob is still expecting shipments soon should indicate he doesn't see any insurmountable problems.
All that should remain is getting last equipment on site, paying production permits and any bonds(re damage to neighbors property, but that shouldn't be a problem, especially as surrounding property apparently is similar uninhabited mining concessions,as the entire backbone of that part of Baja seems to be in mining concessions),and lining up ship transport, which they've presumably done or are working on.
Thanks for the report. I've been holding for over a year, so one week won't matter that much in the big scheme of things.
On CWRN's website they indicate apparently as of 2008 that the govt had reviewed and approved the land use plan for the mining concession(that's the big hump-I did land use planning and negotiations for many years and was President of a land management organization for many years),but implied the permits were on hold because CWRN apparently either didn't have funds for the 60000 permit cost or didn't want to pay such until landowner negotiations were finalized-an apparent circular process in Mexico also-which was resolved a couple months ago.
Now that they apparently have a big investor funding the road building and incipient production(as shown by the pictures posted by others-if you get a chance post a picture of the crusher)and the equipment, which is expensive, they still have to pay the production permit fees.
Recent press releases state they are planning on permitting additional areas at the same time. This could easily raise permit fees to over 100k, assuming no rise in permit fees since 2008.
Once land use planning is approved it is normally just a matter of red tape and bonding requirements-at least in the U.S.
However, as many businessmen have reported, "negotiations" in Mexico are often a circular process. You have an agreement and are ready to go and then various levels of govt, quasi or not etc need more money as part of the agreement. This is just a plausible speculation as to the reason for the delay.
Suppose the permit fees are suddenly 200k. The investor has only budgeted or has funds for 100k permit fee. If investor has no further liquid funds CWRN would have to raise the rest.
This may be an explanation for yesterdays large volume.
We figure mm's and shorters etc have been doing their thing-they play many games, but if buys yesterday exceeded sells by 6 to 1 as a previous post reported from level 2(please explain how you can tell that from level 2 for the rest of us),CWRN may have been raising money yesterday for additional permit fees-I see no indication of that today-so if that is the case hopefully they now have the necessary funds for the fees.
Nothing to worry about-the money made from production will dwarf permit fees. This is just my best guess as to the reason for the delay in the expected PR confirming the production permits have been issued. At this point it should just be a matter of red tape, because in societies which recognize individual rights and property rights, once land use is approved and company expends funds they have certain rights and entitlements which the govt cannot deny.
When I talked to Bob 8-31-10 he indicated they were not issuing shares and was not even thinking about pinksheets or stock price -saying "production will take care of that" and was confident they'd have shipments soon and said there'd be a PR the next week. So the only delay I can see is in unexpectedly high permit fees which necessitate the need to scrounge more money-a common story.
By the time you successfully get one of these things going you feel like you've been riddled/shot through like swiss cheese from all sides-everybody wanting their piece and thinking, just let me get production started and you will all get your money.
We have multiple pictures of production activity. Bob said there were 80,000 tons of loose floats, which is more than enough for one shipment of 52000 tons. Does the production activity look like the mere collection of floats to you?
But in penny land people want immediate gratification or they chase the latest promotion and those promotions are usually losing propositions in my experience, of often shady companies, often w skull and bones or grey market ratings.
I assume the crusher arrived last week, according to the last contact with Bob. So I presume Bob is waiting on the production permits before reporting. I.e.,he must think the permits are close enough at hand to wait until they are in hand.
As to the disgruntled ex-stockholders who lost money, maybe Bob has learned from past adventures. Its not easy navigating these things to a successful conclusion.
There has never been this much activity, let alone pictures of production, for this particular venture since I began following it more than one year ago.
I talked to Bob 8-31-10 and somebody else followed up a week later and we both reported back. A friend of mine talked to Bob several times a ways back and Bob had invited him to come see the production activity.
Of the scores of companies my friends and I have called,we were only able to reach a live person at two companies-CWRN being one of them.
We have bashers who wouldn't believe production even if they were on site watching it.
The more independent reports the better.
So somebody else should try calling Bob-I had reached him at the number posted in the last 2 PR'S-- 1-832-692-3542,but only got the answering machine at that number today. Not to panic-Bob was surprised I got through to him through that number, especially as he was in Mexico when I reached him 8-31-10.
SEMPER FI
Another stock newsletter said China produces 97%of rare earth minerals and that the U.S. military is concerned about that. I don't know if that is true but if it is it would put a premium on any rare earth minerals WOLV may be able to produce.
Posting financial disclosures is expensive for these companies in terms of additional accounting and legal fees(I have accounting and law degrees) and reputed fees of up to 15000 for the privilege of posting such.
Recent activities indicate CWRN obtained funding-probably in June-and they are concentrating on the costs necessary to get production going. Besides roads and machinery,I extrapolate the cost of the production permits at $100,000,based upon website estimates of $60000 for just Baja 14,for they are permitting additional properties now that they have the funding.
When I talked to Bob a couple weeks ago he said he wasn't even thinking about pink sheets or the message boards-that production would take of all that-which is the proper professional attitude. They were in a higher classification until last fall.
Once the whirlwind of activity associated with incipient production is finished, perhaps they will upgrade to current classification commensurate with a producing company, especially if that is favored by their major investor-who may want to keep their name private until this is safely off the ground-which alone may explain why they are presently in the no info category. At least they are not grey market or skull and bones category,as many are, including many penny stocks promoted by the penny newsletters.
But remember getting one of these startups going is a nightmare maze of funding, logistics, red tape etc until you wished you had never taken the company public because of the additional costs and red tape -especially when you are not reaping any benefits-only headaches from taking the company public.
Inter alia, there is constant pressure/questions from shareholders. Thus, most pink sheet companies are unreachable by phone and don't respond to email if they have working email. CWRN is one of only 3 of scores of companies my friends and I have found reachable and Bob has invited shareholders to visit several times,as noted by another post.
According to those who have spoken w Bob in last couple weeks, including myself,Bob said he would have shareholder update this week-see posts below and at yahoo message board.
So people are buying on spec of this news plus their has been an avg of over 70% shares shorted so as stock rises they will have to cover.
News may come out after close so don't panic- nervous nellies.
If Bob has been truthful-and those who have actually spoken to him judge him to be open and honest, this is the only ten bagger deal I presently know of in penny land or any land.
I'm a shareholder who has been following this for a couple months. Willy Wizard tells me Sjls is an institutional investor. Doubloon says Smith Barney -is that the name of the Co.?
Somebody said institutional investors have to sit on the sidelines until results are known but SJLS has been active the last few days, apparently buying and selling,as per level 2.
Any insight or explanation of this?
Could SJLS be aware of results? It does seem some front line personnel would have visual inspection of at least some drill cores by now?
Also somebody said some big boys can't buy anything under one dollar/share-Why would that be? and that when this reaches one dollar, that will allow a lot of big money to come in.
I talked to Bob a few days ago-see my messages at yahoo message board. They are not diluting and at these prices they would only obtain pocket change.
Bob is busy with production activities and says he doesn't follow the message boards and is not even thinking about pink sheets right now-says production will take of all that-and they plan on 2 shipments WITHIN the next 2 months,as previously reported in the newsletters.
He said there would be a shareholder newsletter next week-that he is doing one such newsletter per month.
I see absolutely no logic in selling at what must be a 52 week low when:
1). pre-production or production has started. Is collection of 80,000 tons of loose iron for breakup w hydraulic hammer, already on site and presumably occurring as per last newsletter, production? I would say it is.
2). Beyond that Bob believes actual mining is imminent-if it has not already started-that's not something Bob can divulge to an individual investor prior to PR.
MM's, shorters and bashers play many games, but often at a critical juncture like this, where there is real potential, and these games have occurred with other mining companies I'm following at the point of a breakthrough-only those companies are only at the assessment stage-not nearly advanced as CWRN's activities.
CWRN is already sitting on a KNOWN PROVEN iron ore body and CWRN has the mineral rights-people seem to have lost sight of those facts.
At other mining companies people get excited when the geophysical or aerial surveys begin-before the presence of an ore body is even confirmed-CWRN is well advanced beyond that.
In fact the power of bashers hypnotism in this case is one of the most bizarre penny situations. There is only one other more bizarre for sure-a company w over 100 million revenue(over 2 million net income and climbing)-severely bashed to the point that market cap is below ten thousand dollars!!!! That is the power of bashers dishonest hypnotism overpowering nervous nellies logic.
The fact that such games are being played w CWRN by bashers/shorters/mm's is evidence of imminent or actual breakthrough. Think about it. Dust off the logic cap.
There is what I believe to be a fanatical paid basher at yahoo who is probably influencing some nervous nellies. By incessantly recycling the same dishonest questions that lead to doubt, bashers knowingly produce the pink elephant effect so their companies-KNOWING the breakthrough has been made-can steal shares cheap from nervous nellies.
LOGICALLY people know elephants are not pink but when bashers continually shout "pink elephant",some people let the mirage overpower logic and common sense.
Its politely called the power of suggestion,as in outlawed subliminal advertising, but it really is a type of hypnotism.
Such as employed by psychologists and craft hypnotism-both of which employ dishonest destructive forces(I grew up in such a cult-they are far more numerous than people realize)- a dishonest knowing manipulation.
Even though cult members know the cult leader(or the basher) is a pathological liar, they believe whatever the cult leader/basher tells them. If the leader says the earth is flat, they believe it even if they are a scientist-pure hypnotism. So people-who have a tendency to be intellectually lazy-the default autopilot of least resistance--need to guard against that hypnotism/bashing.
At almost every company I've researched, bashers come out of the woodwork at every interim breakthrough, either because they are shorting or are paid bashers obtaining shares cheap for their employer.
Or have a personal vendetta against the company, often blaming the company for delays that are the result of the great recession, market forces, the usual labyrinthine headaches of a successful startup and bashers themselves.
Welcome to the twilight zone of stock trading. IN March, when there was no evidence PIHN was profitable-and it wasn't at that time-on pure speculation while waiting for the quarterly results, stock rose from .0005 to .0024. I thought that was bizarre.
But the present may be even more bizarre.
1)Pihn has turned a critical point that two thirds of pennys never reach-positive net income
2)Gross rev increased 1.9 times
3)a large acquisition of a company w 12 million revenues is in the works
Any one of these would normally cause a significant price increase.
I know that many are enjoying the last dog days of summer, fishing or haven't come off a summer long bender, but still, compared to the .0024 in March,w all the factors above(except dog days)comparatively this should be .005.
I don't know what caused the spike today, but a stock promoter says a major update with news is coming. When it does, according to this promoter, should go much higher than last time we had news.
Some always get wind of news etc a day ahead of time,so that could be a partial explanation for today's jump.
Stock price is low compared to how profitable this company has become in the last quarter.
