I agree 100%
Until there is a punishment designed to make investors
whole(as much as possible) and put some of these types
like Downs in jail in an aggressive fashion, it will
continue.
This year as I meet with my Senator and House rep,
I and some friends intend to lobby them to initiate
some action that would bring about positive changes.
Disagree.
So far the best bet is not to go anywhere near it, imo.
Otherwise, I agree that it's about the worst stock out there.
Downs isn't the only one.
It seems to be a common denominator among pinks
to openly state that common share holders don't
own anything and have little or no rights as such.
I disagree and have enforced my view on more than
one occasion with a company with success.
Actually
if Downs declared bankruptcy in '02
then it's very likely he cannot do so again
until say '09. There's relevance here if Downs
is sued again, loses, and can't hide in bankruptcy.
probably just pumpers
This is the most unbelieveable stock
I've ever seen.
It's one that certainly justifies reading Boards like this.
It's the only one I would say, it's a good way to burn
money and enrich a scam.
Good grief,
imo, this is baiting.
Obviously any shorting has already happened
if shorts are an issue.
The only thing left to do is drive down the price.
Besides, I'm not convinced IDWD is shorted.
I answered the hypothetical of paid bashers.
Anymore of these ridiculous questions
and I ignore them.
Ok, so how much DCBI stock
does Haynes own?
Won't happen, imo.
Imo, this has been and will remain a profit venture
only where shareholders are where the money is made.
I'm a little disgusted I pulled the trigger too soon
and didn't get in on the pump.
Imo, it's a pump and dump as many times as they can do it.
I did.
Apparently, still made the Feb. 15th deadline.
This is now March 12.
Go grey sheets!
Or is that: Go private!
I don't see much of a current viable discussion on IDWD
as it's been done over and over and over and over.
So until there's some news of some sort......
On RB, there's more of a word toss where words are
lobbed at the opposing side. What's interesting
there is the fact that bashers do not appear to
have the upper hand.
Ok here's one:
I suspect IDWD to be a candidate for the grey sheets
as the SEC broadens its net to include bogus PRs.
Agree or disagree?
Why ask if a retail investor can short a stock?
Most already know the answer is no.
Hedge funds can and do.
The interesting thing is how easy it is
to start a hedge fund anymore.
Let's get back on Topic.
This is drifting OT.
The real question is:
Right now, is there any viable on topic discussion
of IDWD? I'm doubtful.
I voted
against everything including keeping Pierce & Howard.
I see grey sheets in the future of DCBI.
The board also doesn't exist
to consistently bash the stock
with repeating the same things over and over
or swarm all over anyone even remotely invested in it.
The board exists for discussion of IDWD.
There is money in paid bashing if a stock has been shorted
and the shorts want it to drop to 0.
I think it's ludicrous to think that IDWD is actually
pumped on message boards alone now.
SP doesn't reflect that pumping activity is actually there.
We'll see if this makes any impact
http://www.nasd.com/web/groups/rules_regs/documents/notice_to_members/nasdw_018664.pdf
That's a restricted link.
Please don't post such useless or other off topic links
just my opinion
but said a while back
look for things to heat up around April
looks like they're getting warmed up
You have a problem?
With both my factual post and myself as a moderator?
Wataire Industries is in the list.
Tou violations must be the rest of the issue.
unreal.
What's funny is a friend of mine in Canada turned
me onto the WTAF products which seem pretty cool.
I haven't cared much for it as an investment
and so haven't invested, but I do keep an eye on it.
If it ever looks like it will be something real
I'd probably invest, but right now I'm still skeptical.
Until there's prosecutions and harsh enforcement
of the rules with firm and strict interpretations,
I don't see any end in sight where pinks are concerned.
The end result is going to be that pinks will become
avoided by retail investors. The odds of a pink actually
becoming something real are probably something like 1000-1.
That's some pretty ugly odds.
Short term pink investing is a crap shoot for retailers.
If the current trend keeps up, I would predict that soon
the tv talking heads will soon be spouting this mantra:
DON'T BUY PINKS.
Then most retail investors will simply stop investing in them.
So either we'll see some changes or the $ well will dry up.
In which case, companies like GFCI will have a very hard
time doing what they do. The next ones to find themselves
confronted will be fully reporting micro & nano caps.
I was surprised
GFCI wasn't on the list.
Not a clue.
Saw it on RB in a post
and the list seems to be accurate.
DCBI quit trading which is one I dumped
a couple weeks back for a small loss.
Then DCBI began a pump and dump
where it looks like it's being shorted.
Now this halt in the middle of the pump & dump.
I'm surprised IDWD isn't on that list.
Maybe it will be on another one tomorrow.

I thought
it's currently over priced, but what do I know.
I pulled the trigger too fast on DCBI
by a couple of weeks and now it's in
the middle of a shorting pump and dump
which would've paid off handsomely.
oh well, you win some you lose some.
>They own no real assets or business, either.
Wrong, been there, done that.
Not only do the assets exist,
there is tool production and sales
at some of each of the different assets,
Global Oil Tools Libya being an exception
since they are still getting the facility up and running
and I haven't been there and seen it.
It does make me wonder when a complete fabrication
is posted as to why it gets taken so far out into
hooeyland.
thanks for posting it. eom.
In Denver they just had a news report
that was against an energy drink called Spike
Apparently it's causing some problems for teens etc
I have a feeling there's going to be a backlash
against energy drinks in general
this being said
Celsius looks to be something more up my alley.
Especially since after months and months and months
and months and months of lousy mngt with Dickens
I'd had enough after the RS bit and the TL kept
upsetting my stomach.
I'm going to watch Celsius for a while.
Haven't made up my mind on it yet.
Question: For $500
Who believes the PR mistake was a typo?
BZZZZZZT
Answer: Who is nobody.
Yes that answer is correct for $500.
It's a rhetorical question.
I'm not buying it. I believe it was done on purpose.
Here's a thought, what if someone ticked off at Downs
inserted the typo on purpose so it would have to be
followed up and the conference info put out in a PR?
That would be amusing if it was true.
No matter who inserted the "typo"
it's all a bunch of hooey, imo.
Even that didn't happen
Both my phone calls and emails were 100% ignored.
So being a long time shareholder with HLS shares
as well, meant nothing
AW
poor poor things.
then don't buy it and dump what you have.
this company
did reverse splits
not forward splits
Never is erroneous.
We did get our HLS shares, however worthless they may be.
So that's one bit of PRs that came true.
Can't seem to recall any others though.
I agree Tampa
same thing would've happened here
as experience and past history proves.
However, in Len's defense, I don't allow others
to give commands to my dog, who in fact ignores
commands given by others. He's well trained.
Now this comparison is by no means meant in a
derogatory fashion nor am I calling anyone a dog
or a trainer. It was the best I could come up with
after a long night's work and only a few hours sleep.
I don't believe it.
I don't believe that so many jumped on the train
and bought shares down at .15 or .16 and are now
sitting on a tidy profit. I believe a few might have
but not the number that claim to have done this.
I wasn't able to buy any at .20-.30.
I saw an opportunity and still wasn't able to participate
where I was comfortable. I'm not above making a
profit where opportunity exists which it did.
I can believe a few insiders/favorites were told
they'd have the opportunity to buy and they jumped in
but the typical retail investor was left in the dust.
A few might have made a few dollars, but not the deluge
that are currently posting, imo.
After the response I got from calling IDWD today,
I'm pretty well disgusted with this one.
I do expect another run above $1.00 will happen,
not that it will be based on any merit.
Might be a good time to leave this one behind.
I still can't believe the support IDWD has.
I believe the revised web conference PR is the result
of so many complaining and making noise about not
being notified and contacting their brokerages.
If Ameritrade, Scottrade, etc put IDWD on a list where
you have to call in to place an order, it definitely
will put a crimp in Downs' style.
I don't believe the $2.35 buyout will ever happen.
I don't believe in a 995ad.com IPO.
I do believe all the IDWD assets that may have existed
have been put in to other entities.
There's not much doubt this one is done, imo.
I recall
someone saying that a while ago
but didn't check it out till was getting low
on my supply of older stock.
Then started on some of the new
and bingo....there we were.
So that and a RS.......
I'm out of it.
