That depends on the work culture. How can one learn without making mistakes?
Right now we can see how communication was improved. During the audit, Roger kept on giving a new date every few months...and missing them. We all know why.
Now he hasn’t been giving any dates. He has filed the extension when necessary and has kept his mouth shut. We are all anxious about the filing, but that is because we all have incredibly high expectations for the stock, and not because the CEO has said or done anything wrong.
Everyone should read this post
I thought that this would be over once the audits were released. This whole audit process has been never ending.
I am getting rather impatient with this issue. I have been a long for this stock for a long time, and I still am, but it’s hard for me to be happy about the company when the stock is doing so bad. At what point does the stock reflect all that is currently good with S&L?
News seem to do this stock no good, no matter how good the news are. Either the market is waiting for some very specific news, or there are some forces at play deliberately keeping this stock down.
At what point do we start pressuring Roger to release the friggin numbers? I get that he isn’t the one in control, but I hope to God that he is sleeping outside the dang auditor’s doors nagging on them to do their stupid job.
Can someone explain in a nutshell why the board has 445 new messages?
Is this just a new fight?
In the JV the private investor puts the money down to open the business. The financial risk is taken by the private investor.
The company provides the expertise and makes sure that the business is run as intended with the vision of the company.
Profit is split.
No one understands Crypto. Snakes&Lattes is easy to understand.
Snakes&Lattes is growing. That is, it is making money. Lots of money. Soon, it will make even more money.
By the end of 2019, we will have near 10 locations. Maybe more.
That does not take into account distribution, nor publishing, nor EcoGro3.
When the company starts making 50 million dollars a year in revenue, do you still think it’s going to be worth only .07s?
Snakes&Lattes is our life and blood. We WANT more news from that end, because it is the most certain and consistent path towards growth.
So yea, a new S&L that will start its build up in early 2019 is HUGE news.
2 S&L that will be built in the first part of 2019 is HUGE news.
There is also a circularity in the business, because part of the money that must be invested by third party must go towards the games that will be put on the shelves. Where will they buy those games from? I’m guessing most of not all will be bought from us as well.
Snakes will eventually need a warehouse for those games in the US as well.
The company is doing great.
But I think we all know the stock is not doing great at all.
Nobody expected AMFE to be at these levels particularly with the audits out.
The biggest thing that stops me from venting here is that I don’t know so much about stocks.
As much as I am happy that the company is growing, I want to see that growth reflected on my stock as well.
I think we will all feel better after the fins. This process has been exhausting
Would it make sense for the company to buy back shares at this level?
I am asking.
At these levels, would a buy back of shares from the company make sense?
I like your analysis on several things.
But is your analysis based on something you know or something you infer?
Particularly on that relating to the accountants. Do we have any way of knowing that they have had the same number of accountants, or that they have not been replaced at one time or another?
Snakes&Lattes is expanding in physical (brick and mortar) locations this is not an opinion. This is a fact.
Snakes&Lattes is obtaining multiple exclusivity deals on multiple games. This is not an opinion. This is a fact.
Snakes&Lattes just came off participating in the worlds largest convention for board games, where it presented its concept and new games to the public. This is not an opinion. This is a fact.
There are multiple locations being considered to open in the USA. This is not an opinion. This is a fact.
Snakes&Lattes makes millions of dollars per year. This is not an opinion, this is a fact.
The long term is extremely bullish on the growth of Snakes&Lattes. That is my opinion, based on the facts.
What would have happened if he hadn’t said anything? It would have looked much worse if the deadline had passed without him explaining why.
Hey, look at the bright side!
At least we are not seeing the same amount of deadlines being broken as with the audits!
And, if you want to accumulate more shares, things are looking nice for you!
Now we will see what longs are made off.
I just want to point out a few things:
While we do not have the financials, we are not in “the dark”.
We have been witness to spectacular growth.
We have seen S&L expanding.
We have seen a promised audit come to fruition.
2018 will be seen as a critical year for the company, if not a very flashy year for the investors.
I hold strong because I believe that the company is making money. Why? Because I can see the growth with my own eyes. S&L will continue to grow.
It is much easier to convince institutional investors to buy stocks that are in the QB than it is to buy stocks that are in the PINKS.
In fact, most institutional investors avoid the PINKS like the plague. The fact that AMFE already has institutional funding says a lot about what type of company we are investing in, and it is all good.
We are all here to make money. That is our bottom line. We believe that we will make a lot of money because AMFE is at the moment undervalued
Of course AMFE will uplist
So, Georgia and Florida.
I think Disney Springs would be an awesome location for FL, what about GA? Atlanta?
For multiple S&L to open, you need multiple investors interested in establishing a JV at round the same time.
I can see 2 JV being built at the same time now, and assuming that each take around 3-4 months to build, I think it is feasible to finish 2019 with 4 new locations
Lol and the .0001 BID?
Yea, don’t get excited about it.
What S&L is pursuing right are JV. Once the 10k is filed and stuff, then franchising will kick in.
I see. Thanks
Question. Can Roger give us an unaudited 10k? Or unaudited numbers?
I mean, he must have those numbers, he could release that as a first PR while we wait for the audit to confirm it right?
“Once production of the highly anticipated game titles is completed, the Kickstarter backers will receive the first copies. The Company will then move forward with fulfilling the high volumes of pre-orders and purchase orders received, including the recently announced purchase order from Wal-Mart for over 10,000 copies of each of the newly published game titles. These game titles are expected to be shipped, delivered, and on store shelves in time for the 2018 Holiday Season. The Company expects the next few months leading up to the Holiday Season to be key for the promotion, launch, and sale of the newly published game titles.”
“Production is expected to be completed within the original time-frame allowing for the fulfilment of the high volume of pre-orders received, including the recently announced purchase order from Wal-Mart for 10,000 units of each title which are expected to hit store shelves in time for the 2018 Holiday Season.”
So much ado about nothing.
This is the PR which announced the Walmart PRE ORDER.
It talks about EXPECTED TIMELINE (not even dates)
Sigh.

Why do people buy stocks?
Is it because of the company it represents?
people
Or is it because of the stock itself?
I suppose there are many who buy because of the stock itself. They can make sense of the squiggly lines and candles and such. They also make a lot of money. This method is not wrong.
Other people buy the stock because the company represented by the stock, or the concept represented has a future.
Where was Snakes&Lattes 2 years ago, when it was first bought by Amfil Technologies?
It was close to bankruptcy, with 2 locations, few distribution deals no publishing department to speak of.
Where is it now? 4 locations, 200+ employees, dozens of distribution deals and more growing daily, exclusive distribution rights, about to enter the publishing side of the business, and 6 more locations projected to open in 2019. Once the audit process is finally complete, franchising can kick in, and there are already 23 (That’s a lot!!!) of people interested in getting their own franchise! Well, to be technical, there are way more than 23 interested, these are only the guys that the company has begun talks with.
So here we have a company that is growing at a very quick pace, bringing constant revenue in, already starting to make some noise...and the stock that represents this company is worth only .08 at the moment.
I bought this stock because I believe in the company. I believe the company will continue to grow. I believe that they will make a lot of money, and eventually the stock will follow...because it has to.
Board gaming is a billion dollar industry, and how is Snakes&Lattes positioned in it? Very well. They are making a moat so to speak. They are making sure that they have a hand in the most important parts of this business:
1. Retail- the physical locations. People go in to relax, (paying an entry fee), they order food and drinks, and they can buy the games at the location.
2. Distribution- Snakes&Lattes sells games to everyone from individual buyers to big box retailers and everything in between. Sometimes they acquire exclusive distribution rights to a game, making them even more indispensable and giving them more leverage to make deals.
3. Publishing- acquiring Morning Plays was only the beginning. Having a game making company under their wing makes so much sense in so many levels. They can participate in the game designer nights to find out the flaws of a game before it begins the shipping process; they can also figure which game is good and which ones are bad, thereby avoiding the release of the bad games and increasing the odds of publishing successes; they can also use the same Game designer nights to scout for talent and bring them in-house.
The company is in an extremely solid position. Yes, the financials are late, and this would be cause for alarm ...had it not been explained already why it is late. The company worked on a multi year audit, and it finally finished it. The 10k will also be done soon enough, and with it, we will up list and many catalysts will soon follow.
Snakes&Lattes has a distribution arm.
As such they distribute HUNDREDS of games.
They distribute these HUNDREDS of games to MANY retailers, INCLUDING Walmart.
Snakes&Lattes determined that they could get a BIGGER part of the PROFIT by entering the PUBLISHING business. That is why they bought Morning Plays.
Once Morning Plays finishes their games, Snakes&Lattes will be the EXCLUSIVE distributor of their games by default. Because we own them.
But until that time comes, we will CONTINUE to distribute the HUNDREDS of games that we already do, many of which we have EXCLUSIVE distribution rights to.
This means that if Walmart, or ANY other retailer wants to buy a game to which we have EXCLUSIVE distribution rights, then, by NECESSITY, they HAVE to buy the game from US.
So what happened with the games that Morning Plays did not finish? Well obviously they are not in the shelves ready to be sold.
Does this mean that our relationship with Walmart is now in shambles?
NO.
Why?
BECAUSE WE DISTRIBUTE HUNDREDS OF GAMES, MANY OF WHICH WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS TO.
Am I being clear?
Wrong. We have a LOI which is meaningless at this point. AMFE has not sold anything yet or it would show up in the missing financials
Why are LOI meaningless? The only LOI we have ever seen have all gotten results. We first found out about S&L through a LOI, Midtown and Tempe came about first as LOI. Your statement is demonstrably false.
Roger promised new S&L locations and we have them also
Wrong. Jon Fox delivered Tempe. Without him, there would be no hope at all.
We are all grateful to John, they all belong in the same TEAM.
Roger promised the super K and that was filled.
Partially true, he delivered on history and then screwed up current financials
Demonstrably false. https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/AMFE/news/Amfil-Technologies-Incs-GRO3-Division-Enters-Into-Exclusive-Agreement-with-Cannabis-Infused-Beverage-Maker-Kalvara-With-?id=209175
Roger promised new S&L distribution deals and we have them also.
Wrong, he had promised a lot on this front, but could not even deliver on the Walmart commitment
Demonstrably false. https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/AMFE/news/Amfil-Technologies-Inc-Announces-New-Snakes--Lattes-Exclusive-Distribution-Rights-Updates-on-Game-Publishing-Timelines--?id=203913
You haven’t lost anything just as I didn’t gain anything when this rose to .23.
Audits are already done, EcoGro3 lives, S&L is doing great.
The 10k is very important and so are the rest of the financials. The best you can do is email Roger and ask what is going on.
Amfil Technologies Inc.'s GRO3 Division Enters Into Exclusive Agreement with Cannabis Infused Beverage Maker, Kalvara, With LOI to Provide an Estimated (8) EcoPro3 Antimicrobial Technology Systems in 2019
Press Release | 11/05/2018
TORONTO, ON, Nov. 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE –
Amfil Technologies Inc. (OTC: AMFE), is pleased to announce that the GRO3 subsidiary has been selected as the exclusive supplier of ozone based antimicrobial technology for Virdi Group, the owners of Kalvara, for use in the production of their Cannabis Infused Beverages.
The EcoPrO3 systems will provide complete process water pre-filtration and antimicrobial treatment to ensure they meet and exceed the highest food safety standards while maintaining quality, flavor, and potency. An LOI has also been issued which provides for an estimated 8 EcoPrO3 systems in 2019.
Kalvara is a provider of innovative and high-quality cannabis beverages that are environmentally friendly and free of chemicals, calories, sugar, and preservatives. Kalvara Single and Kalvara Eco four-pack are infused drinks offering an easier, cleaner and more consistent cannabis consumption method. Kalvara uses a proprietary nano-emulsification process that allows a rapid onset delivery of a precise dose of water-soluble THC to the bloodstream, avoiding problems associated with other edibles.
Kalvara utilizes Virdi Group’s innovative VESSL™ delivery system. VESSL™ is a nitrogen-pressurized storage and delivery system which preserves the active ingredients from environmental factors without the need for artificial preservatives. The patented VESSL™ closure delivers a precise and consistent dose of THC in every bottle and maintains product integrity without the need for refrigeration.
“The deal with Kalvara is a perfect fit for GRO3,” stated Ambrose Fillis, President of GRO3. “Kalvara is dedicated to providing products which are natural, healthy, and free from artificial preservatives. GRO3 provides an all-natural, organic, and safe solution ensuring Kalvara’s Cannabis Beverages are of the highest quality and exceed food safety standards.”
The EcoPr03 GRO3 Antimicrobial System was jointly developed between Amfil Tech and A.C.T.S. Inc. which recently rebranded its technology under Advanced Ozone Integration as an extension of the existing ozone technology being utilized in the food and beverage industry and integrated by A.C.T.S. into companies such as Pepsi, Nestle, Sysco, Sun Pacific and many others. The system is a triple-function sanitization unit capable of naturally eliminating 99.9% of water and airborne pathogens and the typically problematic pests that wreak havoc for cultivators (like aphids, whiteflies and spider mites), as well as bacteria, fungus, microbes and mold on surfaces, all without chemicals. The unit can also constantly regulate a given facility's water supply, oxygenating the water and maintaining a consistent PPM infusion of ozone that prevents the formation of algae, bacteria or mold (allowing for comprehensive water recycling), simultaneously removing the need to use pesticides and/or dangerous, often carcinogenic products to treat production problems, as is common throughout the industry today.
The GRO3 Team has made significant strides toward penetrating the Cannabis Industry with the EcoPr03. Currently, GRO3 has 8 additional deals/contracts progressing behind the scenes across multiple sectors of the cannabis market including cultivation, extraction, and infusion. Further details about these upcoming deals can be expected over the coming weeks and as they continue to develop.
A note regarding Amfil’s “Stop Sign” designation on OTC Markets.
As shareholders are well aware, the company decided to undergo the process of auditing the last three years financial statements in order to up-list off the OTC Pink market. Fiscal year end June 30th, 2016 and 2017 audited statements have been filed and can be found at the following link: https://backend.otcmarkets.com/otcapi/company/financial-report/202464/content
The 2016/2017 audits took longer than anticipated and overflowed into the time allotted for the 2018 audit to be completed. Consequently, the company missed the Oct.15, 2018 filing deadline and a stop sign designation was issued from OTC Markets. The 2018 audit is currently underway and will be filed upon completion, which will remove the stop sign designation and enable the up-list of the company off the OTC Pink Market.
There is never an ideal time to complete a multi-year audit. The process is often time consuming, and it can cause unintentional by-products including the stop sign designation. It is, however, a necessity in terms of the greater progression and growth of the company in the long-term. The completion and filing of two of the previous three years audits is an enormous step forward in the process. The 2018 audit will be completed and filed, and the company is excited for its future beyond the OTC Pink market. Amfil, along with the internal and external accountants, the CFO Squad, and our auditors RBSM are dedicated to completing this final year’s audit as quickly and efficiently as possible. Once complete, the company will up-list off the OTC Pink market and begin the spinoff and dividend process mentioned in prior press.
I think that they are getting the feel for Morning and how they do things right now.
One has to be very careful when making changes in management. Morning has already established their own work culture. How well does it mesh together with the S&L work culture? That is not something that can be figured out in just a few months.
As a case study: you might not be aware of this, but most of Nintendo’s best SNES games were made by a third party, called Rare. And even headed towards the N64, this studio made a lot of classics. They could even be called masterpieces. Well, this studio got bought by Microsoft. Obviously, Micr was hoping that this studio would make those awesome games for their own system, however for some reason or another, after Rare was bought by Microsoft, most of the talented team members left the studio. So Microsoft was left with the shell of a great studio. The games made by them now are no where near the and quality that made this studio so famous so many years ago.
What’s the point of this story? A game making company is only as good as the talent that makes the games. This holiday season should not be their goal. Next one, sure. By next year all kinks should have been worked out, and maybe even new talent can join the team by then.
Woah there cowboy
20-25?
That’s a pretty stretch right there, at least given the information that we know.
Based on what we know, 2019 will bring 6 more locations bringing our total to 10.
We all know that the 10k will release soon enough, and once we have all the required information franchising can truly begin.
Where does franchising leads us to? That’s kinda hard to tell. I mean, we already know there is a lot of interest in the S&L concept, but we don’t know enough to make an assumption. Maybe we will get a PR stating that 10, or 20 people are going to open their own franchise. Maybe 5. We don’t know yet.
Yes...they have mostly worked on CANADIAN distribution...until now that is.
Isn’t it amazing? Most of the millions they have made up until now are thanks to the Canadian market.
We just started breaking into the US market now. How many more millions await S&L?
You know if these games where the ONLY source of our revenue, I might be a little more impatient.
But they aren’t, and as I have said repeatedly, a delayed game is part of the process. It might suck, but often times the game turns out to be better because of it
The answer to that is simple:
Because the revenue that their games will make FAR OUTWEIGHS the cost of their salaries.
We took a chance on a Board Game making company because Snakes&Lattes as an interest in self publishing.
The company understands that most of the profit generated is made by the publishing side and they want a share of that profit.
The company thinks they have what it takes to distinguish a good game from a bad game thereby increasing their chances of publishing a hit.
And now that they have a game making company, they can scout for talent in the business and add to the employees working in Morning Plays.
Morning Plays has the potential for massive growth, based only on the synergy of Snakes&Lattes.
Remember that Snakes&Lattes hosts game designer nights. These can be used to:
Discover the flaws of the game, helping to make a better game
Scout for talent in the business, and now that S&L owns a publishing side, they can make sure that they get the rights to potential bestsellers AND the minds behind them.
There is absolutely NO problem with Morning.
A few games were delayed. Boo-hoo
“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.”
- Shigeru Miyamoto (He is the creator behind Mario, Zelda, and a host of other legendary franchises at Nintendo)
Did you get to hear anything good you can share with the board? Like news?
Dude, I live in Puerto Rico, and I am not a wealthy man. There are investors from other parts of the world as well. This event, due to its very nature was going to be small.
Simple adjustments?
Lol.
Pray tell, what “simple adjustments” are required? Or are we supposed to believe that the design of the game has no importance whatsoever?
The game itself could be made, but just as much thought must be placed in how to present the game to the consumer.
I’d rather they get it right the first time.
Odd? How so?
S&L has a very strong distribution branch. One which is consistently growing.
Morning Plays was acquired this year. They are a game making company. Their value lies in the future games that they will produce which will be in house games.
As an added plus, they already have some games (not sure if 4-6) already in the works.
Also, do not forget that S&L has a lot of things which will benefit the games made by Morning Plays:
A strong distribution arm- obviously needed to sell the games
Game designer nights- These will help discover the flaws in the game, and help identify a good game from a bad game
