Why do people buy stocks?

Is it because of the company it represents?
people
Or is it because of the stock itself?

I suppose there are many who buy because of the stock itself. They can make sense of the squiggly lines and candles and such. They also make a lot of money. This method is not wrong.

Other people buy the stock because the company represented by the stock, or the concept represented has a future.

Where was Snakes&Lattes 2 years ago, when it was first bought by Amfil Technologies?

It was close to bankruptcy, with 2 locations, few distribution deals no publishing department to speak of.

Where is it now? 4 locations, 200+ employees, dozens of distribution deals and more growing daily, exclusive distribution rights, about to enter the publishing side of the business, and 6 more locations projected to open in 2019. Once the audit process is finally complete, franchising can kick in, and there are already 23 (That’s a lot!!!) of people interested in getting their own franchise! Well, to be technical, there are way more than 23 interested, these are only the guys that the company has begun talks with.

So here we have a company that is growing at a very quick pace, bringing constant revenue in, already starting to make some noise...and the stock that represents this company is worth only .08 at the moment.

I bought this stock because I believe in the company. I believe the company will continue to grow. I believe that they will make a lot of money, and eventually the stock will follow...because it has to.

Board gaming is a billion dollar industry, and how is Snakes&Lattes positioned in it? Very well. They are making a moat so to speak. They are making sure that they have a hand in the most important parts of this business:

1. Retail- the physical locations. People go in to relax, (paying an entry fee), they order food and drinks, and they can buy the games at the location.
2. Distribution- Snakes&Lattes sells games to everyone from individual buyers to big box retailers and everything in between. Sometimes they acquire exclusive distribution rights to a game, making them even more indispensable and giving them more leverage to make deals.
3. Publishing- acquiring Morning Plays was only the beginning. Having a game making company under their wing makes so much sense in so many levels. They can participate in the game designer nights to find out the flaws of a game before it begins the shipping process; they can also figure which game is good and which ones are bad, thereby avoiding the release of the bad games and increasing the odds of publishing successes; they can also use the same Game designer nights to scout for talent and bring them in-house.

The company is in an extremely solid position. Yes, the financials are late, and this would be cause for alarm ...had it not been explained already why it is late. The company worked on a multi year audit, and it finally finished it. The 10k will also be done soon enough, and with it, we will up list and many catalysts will soon follow.
