Interesting that many of the things you listed probably apply to most OTC stocks, but many don't apply for CTIX. If someone were new, they may believe it, but anyone who has been here a while knows some of your points are patently false. I think you demonstrated the boilerplate approach that shorts are taking very succinctly. That since CTIX is on the OTC, it has to be like most of the companies on it.
How many OTC companies have an individual who has past major success with large firms, put their own skin in the game, and have their product/service being tested by some of the most prestigious names in the game? Can't imagine many.
Dr. Frei's involvement alone lends much credibility.
Emil Frei III, MD - (In Memoriam)
Dr. Frei was known as one of the world’s leading oncologists, a pioneer of chemotherapy and a leader in medical research, clinical practice and education. His distinguished career included 40 years in top leadership positions such as Chief of Medicine at National Cancer Institute, Associate Scientific Director at M. D. Anderson, and Director and Physician-in-Chief at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Dr. Frei had unparalleled experience in the development of new cancer drugs. He is often referred to as the “Father of the Cure for Childhood Leukemia” because of his collaborative work with Dr. Emil J. Freireich.

CTIX may fail to live up to being valued at the current market cap, or anything at all, but it's clear to me that CTIX is a very real and honest attempt at bringing something valuable to the market.
Who is AF, and what were the comments?
Fair enough. It's why I haven't lost any faith, because of his operations history, but the whole up-listing debacle is common on the OTC. If I had a nickle for every OTC CEO who said they were going to up-list, but then never did...
BioHedge
You completely disagree with my take?
I still have 100% confidence in Leo. I think he's doing an amazing job running the company. Just don't set expectations on something you can't handle, and please don't talk about shorts in a message that will go to a message board. That's amateur hour, if you ask me.
My take on the weekend email to Karin.
My opinion only, and I know it won't be popular. Doesn't change my view on the science or long term. I haven't sold a share, and don't anticipate it soon.
Leo botched the up-listing expectations. Sounds like he thought the market would react better. I thought it would to, and find it a head scratcher. He probably should have never talked about up-listing, but instead PR'd the expectations in September.
Trust may be 100% with the longer term holders here with low basis, but not with the newer money, higher basis players of recent times. I don't think the recent events hurt the trust, but they did expose an error of judgment. I believe Leo thought for sure the recent news would catapult the stock much higher, and up-listing would have been a breeze. Instead, the market has not cared enough. OTC, blah, blah. Yes, that plays a part, but it's not the whole reason. The market hasn't trusted or been compelled by the data yet. Either by confusion, lack of details, or not being disseminated well, or some of all of these.
While some may love his mention of shorts, I think it was something he should never do. I don't think a CEO should ever talk about that. Much like he handled the buyout question, he should use the same tactic if ever asked about shorts. He proactively talked about them. Almost blaming them for why the stock isn't higher. Instead, should be working on convincing the right entities and seeking why they have shrugged their shoulders or not seen it at all.
This is simply not true. It would need to break the recent lows to confirm that.
Agreed it is probably the right move to maintain a solid relationship.
Still think Leo has created a confusing conversation around up-listing with the PR about a shareholder meeting and BOD vote, after a PR from a year previous. I would venture to say that Leo is having the same issue I am having. How can the stock not be getting more support from recent results? Hopefully seeing the statistics is what the market is waiting on. Mentioning shorts shows some frustrated emotions.
Brings up the curious timing of the recent Aspire draw though. If he waited just a few more days the average price would have been 10-20% higher. There was also a mention of additional board members to vote on at a shareholder meeting. I find his recent email at odds with these items.
It does happen, but maybe not as much now with the proliferation of passive funds, and the SEC clamping down on the industry so that everyone is scared to touch OTC's.
There have been several OTC issues with institutional ownership in the past. The highest profile one I can recall was True Religion Jeans.
Maybe not leverage, but far higher a percentage of portfolio than is generally recommended. The other aspect is not getting the confirmation from the market one would expect, causing doubt. I definitely fall into the latter. It looks like the easiest slam dunk ever, but appears as if nobody cares. I'm surprised at the lack of credible backers in the form of writeups or institutional holdings. Again, I totally understood before the B and K news, but not now. Yes, most institutions have to wait for an uplist, but plenty do not. Perhaps I'm being impatien.
Exactly!
Everyone seems to not realize that we are short board members to up list. We need this first.
In my opinion, there are plenty of people who will jump before, but you may be right that it takes that long. Will they ever complete the BOD? Feel we are overdue here.
Thank you. It's going to be so crazy when a credible source with followers endorses CTIX. Still can't fathom how that hasn't happened yet, but I feel it may come any day. Doesn't somebody know a boitech research analyst at one of the big houses that would see the story and agree it's worth talking about?
What is the most likely outcome or two for K from here in phase 1? We received data from cohort 8, and it was superb. Cohort 9 is at a much higher dosage, 350mg. Will MTD and phase 2 be at cohort 8(I can't remember dosage), cohort 9, or is there still hope for the cohort 10 dosage? If I have gathered correctly, the dosage chosen for phase 2 will be one step down from last cohort in phase 1? Sorry, boitech noob.
The next bit of data we'd all love to see, but not necessary that it shows what we want, is on tumor suppression or regression? We will see this data at least within a few months after phase 1 ends?
Feel like you are always striving for perfection for your entry. I can appreciate that, but in the type of breakout CTIX is in, the perfect entry is rarely, and by rule, shouldn't be given.
I agree with Citrati's views on what he is hoping for.
I don't think you have entered this stock since the major breakout. Is there a point you will, if your hopeful points you've been given aren't presented? Like, would you say the heck with it and buy the break of $3.50?
I'm hoping for the same. Hoping the purple line is achievable by March.

Bout time! Such a gift at these levels as I think most of us believe. Let's go for 1 B MC!
Not a bad day at all. Hoping for much more here into the end of the year. Is $5 asking too much?
I think I started the Baker Brothers talk. I wasn't saying CTIX needed them, but that to get solid price appreciation we need some entity or publication to increase exposure.
Baker Bros! I would think we are on the verge of one of these entities endorsing CTIX.
Even a well known science/medical magazine feature would be a nice start. I forget who the group is that is real influential in biotech investments, but surprised we haven't seen them enter the picture. Maybe they are accumulating currently.
Yep, don't want to be out when something like this hits, and an RSI of 95 won't stop a huge gain from that type of exposure.
I'm usually an active trader, but think it is insane to sell even the trading portion of my CTIX holdings until somewhere above $5. The news on K has me thinking it might be closer to $10.
You can say that again. How are there this many shares for sale at these levels? Is CTIX taking all the cash from the Aspire deal here?
We do need an outside source to stamp some credibility here and add exposure. Could happen any day. Nobody should have access to this much information about the company and be able to get in at these prices. I got it when it was trading at $1.70. I was still on the fence, but now we have B news and confirmation on K.
The recent news gives CTIX so much credibility that maybe only people who have followed the story can fully appreciate. K is going exactly as they hoped/expected. They put everything on the line for it, and we are now seeing why. Dr. Menon nailed it, and the fullest trust in his vision can now be given. Especially when you consider Brilacidin on top of it all. Brilliant acquisition of Brilacidin, and he saw it as nobody else could. An entire platform. Then, we have Leo. What a dynamic team. I love how much they respected each other and were on the same page in the Cox interview. Wow, is this real life?
And boom goes the dynamite!
Explains a decent chunk of the selling we've seen.
I've been successful with technical trading and know others who have as well. I don't feel the need to justify it on message boards, I guess until now
. It's just a tool in the toolbox, and hard to say what percentage of my moves are attributed to technical analysis versus fundamental, experience, intuition, momentum, etc. Sometimes technical analysis is 5% of my trade, sometimes it is 100%. I found CTIX through TA, and I'm thankful for that. Digging in made me want to keep watching. A portion of my holdings will be held as long as certain fundamental aspects stay intact. Another portion will increase and decrease on the combo of technical, and all the other attributes listed.
My TA says CTIX should reach $5-7 on the current breakout, and should most likely be supported by $2.40-2.70, should it be tested. Everyone sees it differently, but that's my plan for my trading portion. Probably the key point, it helps one plan. Not everyone can execute the plan, myself included
Maybe, but the always talking about Monday News!!, and it rarely happening gets a little old. More times than not it is just people buying for that hope, and then selling when it doesn't happen.
If we could close over 3.10 that would be very encouraging.
Looks like a potentially explosive situation. Just typical year-end hype, or does this company have more substance this time around?
Do you think Dr. Menon and Leo had seen all the numbers, that you want to see, enough to know the conclusions in the Cox interview?
Nice post! Cheers to the CTIX IP to come in spades!
What if they tapped most of the Aspire money, and that's why the stock couldn't get real legs after the top line results? Somebody was happily selling large chunks the whole time. Needed the shelf if they did this.
If B is the real deal, nobody is going to want to pay the premium CTIX is going to ask right now, so go it alone into phase 3.
I want to see a better BOD assembled, and curious why we haven't yet. No uplist until.
As you stated, I'm sure we'll find out some of the answers from Leo soon.
Hopefully after today the downside will have been played out.
NR is the best poster here. Funny how some don't trust him, but I've never seen any reason not to. Guess some people don't like straight shooters.
I think CTIX has tapped a good chunk of their Aspire capital, and it's put the breaks on the recent sizable move, for the moment. We weren't getting the biggest surge of buying, and the selling kept holding it steady. A lot of "easy" money made in the last few weeks, and only normal to test the conviction of it.
Hoping we can level off and maintain $3. I really want to see who they add to the BOD. I would like to see a more impressive addition than we've seen to date. The last BOD member and COO wasn't overly impressive, but I did love the COO's communication.
Looking forward to more statistic from B in the next few weeks. If those come in solid, and they add the necessary pieces for an uplist, then I think CTIX will really gain steam, possibly making a run at 1 B market cap as CTIX gets the word out about what most of believe to be true here.
Did you not read the recent PR?
Is it just me, or do you all feel better about this investment than ever before?
Tried to encourage you to keep the bull hope alive
