PS: BBabe got bashered about the worst I've ever seen today on RB. Out of the caves with a vengance. Babe I disagree with your assesment of multiple alias via tone, tenor, phrasing, but in no way can I condone the savageing you endured today. Perhaps we can keep this board a bit civil, and avoid the personal attacks that a few feel wont to offer as meaningful discourse. I would like to apologize for the treatment you received. The attacks were really beyond proper behavior under any circumstance. It was so savage that it begets a rhetorical "WHY?".
History or Learning Channel year or two ago did a story on mummufied remains in Asia that tested out as caucasian. "Silk Road" was a major trade route and apparently some folks liked it enough to stay, or at least recreate with the native population. The archeologists were surprised by the mummies attributes. Yeah more mixing in Asia - Eurasia - Mongolia than one would think, in those really early times. You don't really consider travel or trade unless you think of Marco Polo, and the history we learned in our younger days was limited and mades him look like the very first trader to open the orient -China-.

W2PP Thanks. From the Phenomics website....
DNA Phenomics relies on an unusually innovative approach called Mapping by Admixture Linkage Disequilibrium (MALD), using a statistical program called ADMIXMAP. This method allows us to obtain more information and lower our costs of discovery making it possible to uncover the causal genetic factors underlying traits such as drug reactivity.
Cheez those nouns strike a chord. I'm just put off by Phenomics. Am I thinking of phermones? Heck if we can do face creams maybe thats a good name for perfume customizing. Okay I'm joking, but I wonder if that particular >Phenomics< monicker has shown up before. I don't recognize the term. By the way, cosmetics and perfumes are no industry to sneeze at. If you ever attempted to buy a 40cc spray bottle of some of those fashionable scents you know what I mean.

Mingwan you probably produce the most complete technical due dilligence of any one whoever put mouse to pad. Your ability to dig deep is very impressive. Thank you for all the effort you expend and then share with us dolts who do not have your capacity.
My dumb question for the day. (well at least here!)
If so many promising drugs have washed out in clinical trials after millions have been spent to get them to those clinical trial, will drug companies be willing to have an outside party examine the sample groups to determine common factors in the failure vs sucess of the test? Now granted in some cases of drug testing the dna required may not have been collected, but those surviving patients might be available for sample collection. I can't put my finger on a number for drugs that fail in the finals, but I imagine it's a few thousand a year. Does DNAP have any attraction to those drug developers as a possible salvation of all that development cost?
Question was not posed to Mingwan alone. He just deserved special mention for sharing so much with those of us who are not up to his speed on technical due dilligence. In my situation I think it's a case of artificial intelligence versus natural stupidity!

On ignore. My post was much longer but was truncated by an errant tab command that posted it before completed. The gist of the remainder was that we know some people appear to post on boards for either ego or agenda. But the class of basher we have is better than the norm. They are very subtle and are not shouters. Even the choice of adjectives and adverbs utilized is in furtherance of the ploy. I do not believe I credit them to highly. I honestly think there is a group attempting to move this stock for their own betterment by keeping it in a trading environment, and out of an investment environment. This may be my own lack of sophistication in these matters, but that is the impression I have from being on the board for over a year. The bashers on DNAP are very sharp, and have devoted much time and effort in keeping what seems a 24/7/7 watch on the board at RB. They would appear to operate independley but then they confirm each others hustle with praise for the astutness of the observation. Later on if anyone has the temerity to contradict them, personal attacks concocted as snide remarks between the collaborators, adding the weight of a majority to the casual readers review. I cannot ascribe a motive to the postings, but so much effort for gameplaying or ego boosting? Why would an investor continually splash cold water on the fire? To keep his holdings undervalued? This is contrary to human nature as I percieve it, and so I'm left with the conclusion that the group of posters or one demented personality is making a maxout effort to destroy or prevent the company from suceeding. If it's not money, it's revenge. No one posting here is so altruistic as to not want to make a profit, but I'm very put off by posters who "are looking out for my irrational exhuberance." Sorry for rant.

IGNOREance may be bliss but the subtle slanting and continued repeating of propaganda ala Goerbels "tell a lie often enough and it becomes the truth" is foisted on the newbie and curious would be investors. Does this prevent people from investing in a stock or causing them to perhaps relenguishing a position that hasn't skyrocketed in two or three weeks? Anything is possibble but not always probable.

He stressed, however, that although police think the information they are releasing is correct, it may not be. Police and the public should not discount anyone because he doesn't fit the profile, Morgan said.
Investigators are most certain about the killer's race, because that was determined through DNA analysis, said police Capt. Don Overman.
The rest of the profile is based on factors that are less tangible, such as the orderly crime scene and the killer's ability to enter and escape Bennett's apartment undetected. The attack seems to have been planned, practiced and executed in a "mission-oriented" fashion, Morgan said.<>\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

OT: Ann441j: As a trial subscriber I can't answer you privately but I can report that my RJT was delayed posting yesterday and MSN was not allowing me to sign on either to Messenger or the MSN passport account. About two nights ago, I suddenly found that I had to enter passwords to Raging Bull and Yahoo and IHUB to sign on to those services. I imagined that this was localized to my having "housecleaned" on this computer when I cleared some cookies. Difficult recalling those passwords offhand when you've been running off "digital memory" for a year or so, but it happens. "Now was that third alphanumeric a CAP or lower case???", but once reentered all appears fine. Our systems are getting so complex and security so tight that small glitches can be exaggerated by the protection and become very difficult to troubleshoot or cure. Example is RB for the past few weeks. Would like to hear if anyone else had these sign-on problems.

Thanks Cloud. Sorta' makes you wonder if they would get all uptight if the manufacturers rated sunblock effectiveness based on a particular skin ancestry type. I know I need the MAX. (Usually a long sleeve shirt and long pants!) It will take awhile for some people to get the idea in thier heads that this is ancestral and not racial. In the meantime we'll have to put up with many misguided individuals who choose to harp on the appearance rather than the benefits. Perhaps we should stay on alert, just to keep those cards and letters flowing when some individual or organization is misinformed on the purpose of the test. I mean it's to get the best drug for your condition, not to get you into some country club.
This is a particularly sad day for All veterans. Bob Hope was always there for us, and doubly so when we travelled far from home. His support was wholehearted and he always went "beyond the call of duty". I tried to think of a "replacement" for him amongst the new generations, but even with almost a hundred years to choose from, there was only one Bob Hope. I'd like to think that future generations wouldn't have need of a USO tour, but... So maybe someone will get the chance to try and fill Bob Hopes shoes. I don't think any of us will ever see it though. Not even the young whippersnappers we got posting here!

Hey Early is that WACO as in Texas as in where Doctor Frudakis will be at the convention coming up? Would be nice to bring a "test case" in to that forum wouldn't it. Or walk out with one too I guess.
PS: On RB Tonytox is either Bipolar or he's gone beyond sarcastic to downright offensive. Thanks to all who have posted great DD over this weekend. There are so many pieces and so little puzzle left. Makes you wanna' grab the scissors and make 'em fit, but cheaters always fool themselves I've heard.
Stakddek
Well a read, a quick read by the way, of the RB page led me to the last posts by tonytox. He is beside himself in posting! (Unless some of my ignores intervene!) Tony is calling upon all his favorite bugaboos to scare the newbies. His rhetoric is phrased sarcastically and he's bemoaning the lack of "paying partners", that DNAPrint hasn't paid universities for samples, that the Big Pharma's are hot on our heels, and on and on. Our patent apps aren't worth the paper they are printed on, we can't own a statistical methodology, and his underwear is to tight. Tony is running a one man bashaton, and he is really into it.
It would appear to me that from reading his posts for the last few weeks, he's despararte to get back in. Just doesn't want to pay the price or take the risk. He's hoping I guess to pick up some shares around .068 ish or so, tomorrow to hold for the weekend. It will be an interesting day. Still in computer assembly inferno circle nine on my end, time to try to fire up a monster with 4 scsi's in a raid and 4 SATA's in another raid. Supposed to be a digital video editor, but it gotta' run right. Sorta waiting on some more fans to come in, but I'm gonna crank the A/C up and see if all the drives spin. Be watching carefully tomorrow to see if there is a buy opportunity. Some recent purchasers may be looking to "try greener pastures" for that quick buck. I'll be glad to help them over the fence! The bears on that side!

Dr. Moskowitz at interesting conference, with interesting topic!
GenoMed CEO to Speak at Nucleic Acid World Summit: SARS, West Nile Virus, HIV to Be Discussed
July 21, 2003 09:31:00 AM ET
ST. LOUIS, July 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GenoMed, Inc. ("the Company" or "GenoMed") (National Quotation Bureau's Pink Sheets: GMED), a St. Louis, Missouri-based medical genomics company, announced today that its CEO, David Moskowitz MD, has been asked to discuss the company's findings at the Nucleic Acid World Summit to be held in Boston, MA September 15-17, 2003.
The Nucleic Acid World Summit, "Transforming Cutting-Edge Science into Business," will focus on uses of RNA and DNA to understand and treat diseases, including viral scourges such as SARS, HIV, and West Nile virus. The Midwest is gearing up for another bout with West Nile virus later this month. SARS is likely to return on a global scale this fall. HIV is a long-standing global epidemic still not under control.
Dr. Moskowitz will address the conference on Tuesday, September 16. His talk is entitled "Improving the Odds of Therapeutic Efficacy: Blocking Angiotensin II."
Dr. Moskowitz said, "We've found that several viral diseases including HIV, TB, all cardiovascular disease, all cancers except prostate cancer, all autoimmune diseases, and several psychiatric diseases are associated with over-activity of angiotensin I-converting enzyme ('ACE'), and excess levels of its product, angiotensin II. An ACE inhibitor or angiotensin II receptor blocker ('ARB') should therefore increase the efficacy of any new treatment, including nucleic acid therapies."
Dr. Moskowitz continued, "One very promising therapy, small interfering double-stranded RNA (siRNA), may be especially useful in developing new anti-viral drugs against RNA viruses like the SARS coronavirus, West Nile virus, and HIV. Interfering RNA will be discussed extensively at this conference. But any anti-viral therapy will almost certainly be more effective when used as part of a drug combination. We believe ACE inhibitors and ARBs, acting on the host, will decrease the host's immune response to the SARS and West Nile viruses, decreasing mortality. Blocking angiotensin II should also decrease the ability of the HIV virus to reproduce. These drugs are available now. The result of combining our approach with anti-viral drugs could be an even more effective one-two knock-out punch against the disease."
Dr. Moskowitz ended by saying, "I'm happy to have been invited to this important conference. The invitation reflects the organizers' belief that our unifying view of human pathology will benefit the audience. For our part, we hope to profit by licensing our intellectual property to some of the attendees."
The Nucleic Acid World Summit is hosted by the Strategic Research Institute (www.srinstitute.com/NAWS). A number of major pharmaceutical companies and prominent biotechnology companies are scheduled to attend.
About GenoMed
GenoMed, Inc. is a medical genomics company whose mission is to improve patient outcomes by identifying the genes that cause disease. A recent St. Louis Business Journal article (http://www.stlouis.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2002/05/13/story8.html) reported that the company has applied for patents based on its finding that the ACE gene is associated with many common diseases, including viral diseases such as HIV. The Company is currently recruiting volunteers for clinical trials including SARS, West Nile virus, and HIV. GenoMed has already proven that ACE is the key to preventing kidney failure due to diabetes and high blood pressure, and to delaying emphysema. GenoMed's treatment approach, which is patent-pending, is the cornerstone of the Company's Next Generation Disease Management(TM) program. If inhibiting angiotensin II can also be shown to limit disease from SARS, West Nile virus, and HIV, this too will be incorporated into the Company's Clinical Outcomes Improvement Program(TM) (COIP(TM)). Patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, or emphysema can already subscribe to GenoMed's COIP(TM) for $800 a year.
For questions, please contact Dave Moskowitz, tel. 314-977-0110, FAX 314-977-0042, email: dwmoskowitz@genomedics.com, or visit GenoMed at www.genomedics.com.

In my due diligence For CIMH I tracked the name of the main character, and he's not well liked in the Comic Universe. IF I have the right party, he has a bunch of customers who ordered DVD's as collectors sets and after two years they are still hanging, waiting. Cancelled orders not refunded, production delays -- the factory burned down or went out of business. They moved and we don't have the address, the material wasn't up to our standards.. It's seem's he always has a manufacturer who screwed up, or went out of business-- Lotta' people going the legal route on him. Stock price was down around .0003 the other day. His name is cursed by young folks who ordered this stuff and have been put off for too long. Just seems like the kind who tell you the dog ate my homework or the checks in the mail. From what I diligenced I formed the humble opinion that I would run from any business this man put a finger in. After each post about him on the website I visited, the posters included the website for reporting internet fraud. They are not happy campers. Maybe TonyTox was referring to this deal as the opportunity missed???

W2P: Deferred revenue might be greater than posted revenue. can you say "avalanche"? I am concerned with the cost of kits and other supplies, cost up front. Other killer is working with gov. agencies on Witness. They are noted for slow payment. And involved biling practices!

Angelfund: The "retaliation" wouldn't be from the criminal element against an tool of the prosecution. A much more likely source is the patchwork of racial supremacy groups. Pick any one you want, they all have an agenda and on occasion, a portion of the membership will act. Next possibility would be religious extremists, though much less likely. As to targeting DNAP, it's not a purveyor of Frankenfood or conducting animal experiments. An attack conducted by a nutcase is of course always possible, and given the unfathomable reasons for some other human activity we all have observed, without a way to prevent an unknown with an incomprehensible reason from acting, you just do the best you can with what you got.
As an aside, while doing a Google search on Retinome I ran across a link to a paper in Ryahd (spell) that was in Arabic. Just made me think how happy the Palestinians and Israelis are with the DNA results of late showing many of them to be very close cousins. Almost makes all the bloodletting look like fratricide.
No you can't count out the nutcases, but you can assign a probability. My gut tells me an attack by a rival company under the guise of a disgruntled ancestry result is more likely than any other source. Is it worth worrying about? I'd be more concerned with hurricanes.
Stakddek
Thank You all for the continued efforts to provide factual information. You manage to delve deeper into DNAP from public sources than I would have imagined possible. find much of the information presented goes over my head, but it's good to know you are watching. I get from the current DD that TBF is leaving the picture. Very good news as money is going into the coffers from the activity. Lack of new shares is better news, entitlees are holding out for better return, when dilutive effect will be reduced. Would be nice though if TonyTox on RB board would stop harping on missed opportunity he is aware of from personally garnered info. His harping on this undocumented event is bothersome at a time when everything else is coming together. Worst part is he doesn't specify event so you can't refute the opinion he expresses. I mean so what if they missed renewing the free subscription to TV Guide? It's not like Ed McMann went to DNAP and no one was there! (RB board is operating normally [mechanically] and normally for all the abnormals posting there.) There have been some slights by Dragonesq and Onebyone0 toward this board, referring to participants here etc. but considering the sources... well. Hoping for slight retracement to add to my holdings, but perfectly willing to ride the rocket! Best to all and again thanks for the spectacular efforts in DD.

GCBR nice theory about "coming aboard" or Buying in, but is there also a possibility that perhaps the technology DNAP offers would be of value to S4 in the work they perform for clients? I believe they indicate testing and representing through the process. Perhaps DNAP is so advanced that it can be used as an assay so no gets burned by salt or pyrite?
Whatever the reason, it bodes well for DNAP.

Manti: Thank You Very Much for the considerate reply. I don't mind the live and learn routine, but methinks on occasion that some brokers have perhaps used my naivete to prosper at my ingorance. It's alway nice to know the tricks they use to perhaps shall we say, pirate a profit? Of course we know that none of these people in the brokerages would ever take unfair advantage, but those dastardly market makers must be the root cause of all our troubles. I guess you have to take off the rose colored glasses when you deal with any of these folk.
So if I learned a lesson here, it would be if I wanted to accumulate a large quantity of shares, I should arrange my orders in a stepped fashion, and keep the quantity to a reasonable number. If I go after a 100K all or none, (AON)they'll be reluctant because with a price fluctuation, I could pull the plug. I'm left on the side. I get no shares.
I place a few AON orders, for lets say 25K but at different prices and absorb the commissions for each separate order.
I place an order for the maximum number of shares I can get without picking up any penalty charges, I place the order for AON, and as a Day order. Additional orders are placed at the same time to fill my share quantity requirement.
Before I do all this, I tell myself that I am not going to chase the price beyond a certain point. (Could turn into a bidding auction against your own broker/MM!!!) Don't they love that!
So essentially, unless you offer the MM enough "easy money" to make it worth his while, your order will go unfilled. Or they might wait to the end of the day, to see if they can make you up the ante, before dropping a few of thier shares to make your order. Do I got it now?
Thanks Manti, it's just that I'm trying to learn to save myself some bucks.
PS: Friday when I told my online broker RJT that I wanted to wire funds and asked how long the process should take he advised me same day, and mailed the info to my message in box at RJT. I popped over to Fleet Bank here and gave them cash to transfer. Well first they had to deposit the cash to my bank account, then they transferred it from that account. The funds never showed up Friday at RJT. I called Fleet today (Saturday) and was informed that it takes up to two days. The fee was $25.00.

Would one of the more experienced traders comment on these questions about our beloved NASDAQ.
Assuming same bid.
1. Whose order gets filled first. By date of entry? By size?
2. Is my good 'til cancelled "better" than your day order?
3. By quantity. My 1000000 vs your 10000.
4. By all or None.
5. Will my broker charge me for sep. transactions when I want 1000000 shares and he can only get them 1 by 1?
6. I always assumed the NASDAQ was a first come first served operation, but of course there need to be shares at the mutually agreed level to conduct a transaction. How can I best phrase my order to insure completion, but at the least cost to me? Any ideas. (Yeah I did a market order, 1 time!)

OT SlopsterSlasher, do you mind SS for short? You're dilligence activities are incomparable. Remembering though this board is filled with many more old-timers than newbies, your efforts in posting non-current dillegence here is a wasted effort. Not unappreciated, but with regard to the old, it's tedious to pour through unless you highlight a specific thread in the dilligence you feel may have been ignored. Now I know as I get older I get denser, and I'm in computer hell this week with part numbers and shopping quotes, so I'm a little slower than I usually am. Did your multiple posts refer to the liklihood of immenint news based on the enght of time since the apparent "stop sampling" and verify, or the other programs that are reaching, or just beyond the projected fruition? Like I say I'm probably more dense than usual this week, so please highlight the point for me the dummy. Welcome aboard and your current and past efforts to provide useful information will not be disrepected by at least this board member. I'm sure only a minority would hold your having a previous history against you, and since this is a new beginning for all of us, I'm almost certain you arrive here with no baggage! Welcome.

OT Numbered Names: Credit (for the first instance I can recall) of a numbered user name goes to Tom Leher who wrote a bunch of songs in the fifties. In an intro to one song he referred to a peculiar fellow who wrote his name "HEN3RY" The three was silent. In college Hen3ry mastered in animal husbandry til they caught him at it. Album was quite audacious in it's time. Lehrer later had song Pollution used on Sesame Street. Sort of Mark Russel from PBS but with real sharp fangs.

Hi all. We had two great news releases and the price went nowhere, on this the day following. My recollection of the last "good news - no reaction" was the price went higher but after a day or two lag time. Clancy has always appeared to have "ducks in a row" but you wonder with all the plumper and juicier ducks why no activity! My recollection is that we had a contract last year with BART for some parking situation that appears to have translated favorably to the latest news blurb. Good luck to all,

Just read through raging basher They boys are in pig heaven. It is unfortunate, but with Manleo and putsomemoneydown etc feeding off each other, newbies are at the mercy of the merchants of doom over there. They have Carrie swept off to a convent and Phil Brooks is missing in action. I can't recall his function.
So now let's see, the recrnt press release brings one genomics pioneer in with one drug company. Oh woe is me! It's such a pity that there are no other drug companies out there. Doctor Frudakis is not going to sell the fruits of all that labor cheaply. The possibility was raised of all the product line of DNAP being broken out to other companies. I think this is akin to the licensing concept Doctor Frudakis has championed, but goes that extra mile in divesting DNAP of the managerial responsibilities. I don't thing this is likely, but I could see the Doctor and "brain Trust" at DNAP arranging "management contracts" to oversee the institution of "testing labs" at various companies, but keeping the pure breakthru research at DNAP. Obviously "the lads like playing with the toys", and when the money starts rolling in, it would be nice to have more time to follow those "personal quests" that lead to the really significant leaps in science. Also nice to apportion the drudge sample prep out, and maybe one or two new robots. I like to consider the backed up state of the ancestry tests as a really favorable sign that will indicate a healthy increase in activity for the company. The August 15 Quarterly will be significant in revealing the degree of activity. I bet all those revenues we expect will be offset a bit by new purchases for supplies, and under the previous accounting scheme, the income won't be credited until the cash for the results is in the hand. They must be careful not to expend funds on too much inventory, as the number of orders for Ancestry kits may tend to taper off. It's good the collection kits spread across the spectrum of tests.
I hope someone sends an E-mail or phone call to DNAP and let them know the whereabouts of the most ardent supporters. If they don't know we bailed on Raging Basher, reading all those negative posts could weaken the resolve of even the principals in the company who know all that's going on!
I'm guessing that the next PR from the company will be the Accreditation for doing forensic analysis. Meanwhile my account balance is low and I can't buy more shares. Boo Hoo!
Sorry for lenght of post.
