Angelfund: The "retaliation" wouldn't be from the criminal element against an tool of the prosecution. A much more likely source is the patchwork of racial supremacy groups. Pick any one you want, they all have an agenda and on occasion, a portion of the membership will act. Next possibility would be religious extremists, though much less likely. As to targeting DNAP, it's not a purveyor of Frankenfood or conducting animal experiments. An attack conducted by a nutcase is of course always possible, and given the unfathomable reasons for some other human activity we all have observed, without a way to prevent an unknown with an incomprehensible reason from acting, you just do the best you can with what you got.

As an aside, while doing a Google search on Retinome I ran across a link to a paper in Ryahd (spell) that was in Arabic. Just made me think how happy the Palestinians and Israelis are with the DNA results of late showing many of them to be very close cousins. Almost makes all the bloodletting look like fratricide.

No you can't count out the nutcases, but you can assign a probability. My gut tells me an attack by a rival company under the guise of a disgruntled ancestry result is more likely than any other source. Is it worth worrying about? I'd be more concerned with hurricanes.
