Ann, You might consider keeping those passwords, etc, on a few index cards or a rollidex. It's not a bad idea to run a check once in awhile on your computer for these pests.

Gator boasts that since it's software is always running, it can spam users with "Special Offers" and other ads anywhere they go (even competitors' sites) with remarkable targeting capabilities, since it can spy on what sites the user is visiting.

Another quirk of the microsoft browser is the "Install on Demand function. The sad part is it's not your demand. It's that online casino or some other garbage. Check your browser settings and uncheck install on demand. You will then be asked before anything is installed.
