Thanks Cloud. Sorta' makes you wonder if they would get all uptight if the manufacturers rated sunblock effectiveness based on a particular skin ancestry type. I know I need the MAX. (Usually a long sleeve shirt and long pants!) It will take awhile for some people to get the idea in thier heads that this is ancestral and not racial. In the meantime we'll have to put up with many misguided individuals who choose to harp on the appearance rather than the benefits. Perhaps we should stay on alert, just to keep those cards and letters flowing when some individual or organization is misinformed on the purpose of the test. I mean it's to get the best drug for your condition, not to get you into some country club.

This is a particularly sad day for All veterans. Bob Hope was always there for us, and doubly so when we travelled far from home. His support was wholehearted and he always went "beyond the call of duty". I tried to think of a "replacement" for him amongst the new generations, but even with almost a hundred years to choose from, there was only one Bob Hope. I'd like to think that future generations wouldn't have need of a USO tour, but... So maybe someone will get the chance to try and fill Bob Hopes shoes. I don't think any of us will ever see it though. Not even the young whippersnappers we got posting here!
