If they had done that they would have driven up the pps and would not have been able to purchase the large blocks at the MASSIVE discounted price of .0035
imho
This is only an opinion but, I'm guessing that the note holders who have sold the large blocks of stock to Sloane were not willing to take less than the stated Div at .0035, and because insiders know that the div is going to be so much higher it was well worth it to buy up as much stock as possible..lol...it keeps the money at home!!
Another thing...I seriously doubt any investor would spend $61 mil to buy stock at the same price as the pending dividend. Yep,,,I think the Div will be much much higher than .0035
IMHO
Yep....Lowenthal was confirmed as being appointed to HGLC's board directors on March 17 2008...So look at it this way..insiders have paid over $61,000,000.00 @ .0035 for FFGO shares!!! Lol..I see that as a very good thing!
imho
Alan...Thanks it is indeed an interesting listen. Very exciting stuff...but can you tell me please what do you know about the speaker? Who is he? Is his opinions to be deemed credible? Any other insigt would be great.
Thanks
Dich....GO FFGO!!!
Good Morning Viv...hope your weekend was great!!
LOL...Thats a really really big blue berry pie in the sky!!!...and I really do hope your right!!!
How do you arrive at the .014..I agree with you but I'm curious about how you got there.
You are welcome. have a great one too!
Free Float!! Naked Short selling!! Dilution!! Dumping!! late filings...Etc> Etc. WHO friggen cares!!!??? A lot of people seem to be ignoring one thing I believe to be simple FACT! The PPS of FFGO DOES NOT MATTER!! It is .0001 now and will most likely be that once again after the Dividend.
IMHO
What matters is how many shares you own!! Why do I say this? It's really really simple. FFGO owns Gold Properties that are being sold, the full amount of the proceeds from the sell are being distributed to shareholders!! Once the sale is executed FFGO will own no assets what so ever...which means??? If you buy shares now at the current price your gonna do real well (at a minimum .003 per share owned), because once the TA announces the ex Div date the PPS should rise to about the same amount as the declared dividend, (so good luck buying in when that happens). and THEN!! after the ex date there will be no value in the company, the PPS will reflect that with it going back to .0001 once again.
So! How many shares do you own?? I have my tickets for the show already, I'll get my divi for the shares I own, then in all likely hood I will not be able to sell after the deal. But who cares at that point? I don't.
Now of course there are several concerned people here on this board who believe this whole thing is a scam and are trying to warn about it so that you do not loose your money in a bad investment. You should listen to what they have to say, then you need to decide for your self based on your own very extensive DD. As for me, I apprecate what they are trying to do, however, it is my opinion that this deal is not a scam and that it will pay off..but thats just me...you decide for yourselves.

If it breaks the trip 2's this thing will fly a lot higher than that. imo But I don't think we will see any movement until the TA post the div-ex date. Once that date arrives the stock will essentially become worthless again.
Try this link to FFGO website..I think they have answered every question that they are willing to or are legally able to answer.
http://www.fortfinancegroup.com/
I'm on it right now..no problems
My scottrade still shows no bid. is that correct?
try 30+ times your investment.
IMHO
Good morning everyone.
I just read the information in the new FFGO website and it is very informative. I am confident that those of us who have either recently purchased shares, or have been holding for years in FFGO will see the gamble pay off real soon. IMHO, FFGO has made statements which would make them liable should it come to light that this is some kind of scam. I do not believe it is and as such, when proven it will be very nice to be able to thumb my nose at those who over the last few months have repeatedly tried to discredit this stock. Likewise, it will be huge to those of us who have supported this play. GLTA that hold interest in FFGO!! Good luck to those who are waiting to join in, I just hope you have not waited to long!

An Artical defining "Float"
What is a Stock's "Float" And Why is it Important?
What exactly does it mean when people refer to a company's "float", and why might the size of a company's float have a direct impact on how the stock trades?
First off, what exactly is a "float"?
To understand what a float is, we first need to explain what "shares outstanding" mean. "Shares outstanding" are the total number of shares that a publicly traded company has. These include shares owned by insiders and large institutions, plus "restricted" shares and the float.
The float represents the shares of the company that are "freely" tradable. Meaning, the shares other than those held by institutions or other owners totalling more than 5% of the company, restricted shares and insider holdings.
Let's take a look at a real world example. Simtek Corp. (SMTK) currently has 16.51 million shares outstanding. If you multiply the number of shares outstanding by the current share price ($2.81), you are left with a total "market cap" of $46.40 million dollars.
Now, Simtek has 10.31 million shares in its float. This means that after backing out shares held by owners that total more than 5% of all shares, restricted shares and insider holdings, we are left with 10.31 million shares. This is the float.
Now why is the "float" important?
The smaller a float, the more volatile a stock can become. If a stock has one million shares in its float and announces really good news, the share price will soar due to their being hardly any shares in the float. If there are hardly any shares in the float, this means that shares are harder to buy and the price to buy shares will go up.
If a stock has a really big float, this would mean that the stock is prone to less explosive moves. A stock with a float of 100 million shares won't rise 100% in one day, but a stock with a float of 1 million shares could.

Schedule 13D
Schedule 13D is commonly referred to as a “beneficial ownership report.” The term "beneficial owner" is defined under SEC rules. It includes any person who directly or indirectly shares voting power or investment power (the power to sell the security).
When a person or group of persons acquires beneficial ownership of more than 5% of a voting class of a company’s equity securities registered under Section 12 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, they are required to file a Schedule 13D with the SEC. (Depending upon the facts and circumstances, the person or group of persons may be eligible to file the more abbreviated Schedule 13G in lieu of Schedule 13D.)
Schedule 13D reports the acquisition and other information within ten days after the purchase. The schedule is filed with the SEC and is provided to the company that issued the securities and each exchange where the security is traded. Any material changes in the facts contained in the schedule require a prompt amendment. The schedule is often filed in connection with a tender offer.
You can find the Schedules 13D for most publicly traded companies in the SEC’s EDGAR database. You can learn how to use EDGAR to find information about companies. You can find an HTML version of the Schedule and download a PDF version for easier printing.

LAS VEGAS, NV, Jun 16, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Fortress Financial
Group, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: FFGO) confirms that it increased its Authorized Share
Capital slightly.
This was done at the request of the Transfer Agent to the Company as they are
required by law to have these additional Authorized shares of Common Stock to
cover the historical and any future replacements of lost or stolen stock
certificates.
The Company will not be issuing any additional shares of its Common Stock
whatsoever and the number of outstanding shares of the Company's Common Stock
remains, and will remain unchanged, as detailed in the Company's Form 8-K filed
on June 3, 2010. This is necessary as the final terms in respect of the sale of
the Company's Gold Interests are now based upon this number of outstanding
shares of the Company's Common Stock.
Fortress Financial Group, Inc. holds an interest in two Gold Properties, namely
"Bouse" and "South Copperstone." The Company has made it clear that these
interests are being sold and the entire proceeds being distributed to its
stockholders. The Company has provided "pricing guidelines," namely no less than
US$0.003 per share of Common Stock at a Gold price of US$1,050/oz. At this time
with the price of Gold trading in excess of US$1,230/oz, this pricing guideline
will have increased proportionately. The Company's shares of Common Stock are at
this time, trading at a massive discount to these stated "pricing guidelines."
This release contains "forward-looking statements" within the meaning of Section
27A of the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, and Section 21E the Securities
Exchange Act of 1934, as amended and such forward-looking statements are made
pursuant to the safe harbor provisions of the Private Securities Litigation
Reform Act of 1995. "Forward-looking statements" describe future expectations,
plans, results, or strategies and are generally preceded by words such as "may,"
"future," "plan" or "planned," "will" or "should," "expected," "anticipates,"
"draft," "eventually," "projected" or "guidelines." You are cautioned that such
statements are subject to a multitude of risks and uncertainties that could
cause future circumstances, events, or results to differ materially from those
projected in the forward-looking statements, including the risks that actual
results may differ materially from those projected in the forward-looking
statements as a result of various factors and other risks identified in filings
made by such company with the SEC.

I see...I've read all the old stuff, I thought someone was saying a new one was being done.
Thanks
when and where did someone find something that states assays are being conducted?
I would like to see that. I havent been on the board in the last couple days so I've missed it.
Here are some glossary defintions I found regarding some of the topics of conversation, in case anyone is interested.
Shareholders Of Record
Shareholders whose names actually appear on the records of the corporation from which the shares are issued. See also Street Name.
Street Name
Ownership of shares which are held for the benefit of the shareholder in a brokerage account, and are not reflected in the shareholder's name on the records of the corporation. See also Shareholders of Record.
Short Selling
While an investor's mindset is usually to buy a stock first and then sell it later, short selling actually is just the opposite; sell now and then buy it back later. The short seller borrows the shares from a securities firm with the anticipation that they will decline in value. If the investor is correct, the shares can be bought back at a lower price and the investor realizes a gain. However, if the shares are bought back at a higher price, a loss will be realized.
Short Squeeze
A short squeeze results when the price of the stock rises and investors who short-sold the stock rush to buy it to cover their short position. As the price of the stock increases, more short sellers feel driven to cover their positions.
Dividends
Cash dividends declared on Common Stock are paid by corporations, usually quarterly, to shareowners of record on the declared record date. Shares directly registered on the books of the corporation are paid directly to shareholders while shares held through a broker are paid to the broker by the corporation.
ok, now it shows 5,010,000 for vol...Still that really off the usual.
My scottrade is showing zero volume so far today..is that accurate?
Thanks again..it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Though I'm not sure how we would ever know what happens on the other side of the MM fence.
Good Morning all.
Thanks for the explaination Seven.
ok...so how would a person or broker know the difference between owning real shares or fake ones? Or is that really impossible? It's hard for me to wrap my head arround that whole concept.
How are you or I or anyone else here holding shares protected? You said the MM's have to cover the short position, or did I mis-understand?
Seven,
Can you expand on that? I'm not getting how the NSS really effects things.
Thanks
GM Viv...Lets see if we loose the bid once the div is declared!! I have Scottrade, and it still shows no bid with a .0002 ask.
LOL
dich999@bellsouth.net
YES Vianna...your update earlier was very good.
Now they just need to kick the tires and light the fires to get this hing moving!
Common Pete show us something!!
Not at the moment..meaning that they are not for sale!! but yes..I concede that they are counted as part of the float.
I agree with you bobby, as by definition shares held by insiders restricted or not are not considered part of the float.
So who knows how many shares Lumb and company are holding?? One thing is for sure..they will reap the lions share of the div.
They don't get theirs until we get ours and I'm sure I read somewhere in past filings of how many shares Mr. B was given and it was a bunch. You know he wants the div price to be as high as he can get it.
.009/.012 CASH!!
Public float
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Public float is the portion of a company's outstanding shares that is in the hands of public investors, as opposed to company officers, directors, or controlling-interest investors.
So if there are no restricted shares, then we only need to know how many shares are being held by: company officers, directors, or controlling-interest investors.
Good luck with that.
