There's only one way to know.
Either you, or you can ask Mustang if he will shoot off another letter asking if there has been any pre-emptive marketing done that includes your NY hospitals. It's been mentioned before as we have a very well educated board, but we've never been able to have a substantive two-way conversation with Titan mgmt to get a good gauge as to what they have already done and what the plan is going forward.
This business "stuff" is not complicated. Which makes everyone's collective frustrations that much worse. Who knows, maybe Titan BoD and acting CEO is now reading this board and thinking - Hey we haven't tried that yet. What's the harm?
Regards,
BK
When you don't have a product, then all that can be done IS talk about it.
I say quit talking up a competitors "vision" of the future and start harping on what's going to get our company to the finish line.
They've turned the conversation from "Look What Titan Has Done," to "Hey we have a great idea - and it will take over the world!"
Regards,
BK
Dude, you get it! Thanks.
For some reason, and I can't put my finger on it, but Titan seems to have come off the rails and lost track of why they are designing and building SPORT to begin with. It looks and feels like a science project that doesn't have a last chapter. Finish it! Write another version after this one's done.
Happy Thanksgiving. Ey.
Regards,
BK
Yes, I recall.
But, my point being - don't let that element delay the completion of V1.0 by adding a V2.0 feature. Get this robot certified and to market and then we can deal with "good problems."
Regards,
BK
The story according to Verb? I call BS.
They want to control the narrative. The "OS" as told by Verb is the future! It will be an industry common denominator! A "Totally Immersive Robotic Surgical Environment!" How does it become an "industry standard" when there's only 1 company with a med robot in the field? Further, does the Verb OS become a selling feature? Or just an added expenses because Titan can, or will come with it's own integration?
IMO. This Verb OS story is a distraction at this point in SPORTS development. There's no DISTINCT advantage to adopt the Verb OS. Except to believe it - just because they say so. Verb would like the story to become "THE" OS story as a mimic of Microsoft's Windows. The difference between the MS business model and that of the Verb OS is that MS had hundreds of thousands of workstations, standard business app's, custom app's and the one-dimensional DOS base of customers from which to convert. EVERY peripheral attached to a DOS device had to have a separate device driver developed. Which is my point - Verb wants a MS business model, but only has 1 product from which to leverage in the field. At best it will have 3 in the next 2 years. The Verb OS is only a story that's getting repeated - and hopefully so many times that it becomes "the truth." I say "not so fast," and call BS.
Why???? It's just not possible to determine at this point in time if Titan will have an integrated OS with multiple EMR data inputs because we're looking for SPORT 1.2 or 1.3. Arrrrrrg!! If they need EMR data then bring in a damn big screen TV hooked to the patient data system and have a tech drive it during the procedure. Whala! Has robotic surgical marketing brainwashed everyone engaged in the conversation with a phrase like "Totally Immersed Environment?" I think that some think and treat Verb like the Pied Piper of robotic surgery. Drink the Kool Aid if you want, but again, I say "not so fast."
My point? Stay focused on SPORT. And.......They sure as hell better not be delaying the development of a fully functioning surgical product just to add additional data inputs. Seriously - does the patient data have to be integrated to SPORT? Take the shortest path to certification and launch this robot. Then we'll see who controls the conversation about this BS (I mean OS.)
An analogy: Should we design a hammer with built-in knuckle protection and a safety shield? Or just put on gloves and safety glasses? REGARDLESS, I hope Titan stays focused on the certification of the robot V1.0..
JMO.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and a pleasant week to all of our friends in the Great White North.

I thought the interview was telling.
The good Dr. gave us a hint that the previous testing that was done many years ago was a success but the surrounding tissue was damaged goods.
I'm encouraged by the information and how it was described.

Smells like..... revenue.
One third of the way to pass the "duck" test.
Again I say, "this can't stay a $.14-$.20 pps company for very much longer.
It was over $2 pps with only potential MJ revenue 2 years ago.
Now we have another spoke in the wheel.

Apple (AAPL) has a medical division.
It appears that it's focused on augmentation of the iWatch, with sensors and software enhancements.
There is another company called Apple Medical. Please don't get that one confused with Apple Inc.
Apple Inc. (AAPL) was on my short list last year.
So was Samsung, Canon, and GE.
Here's are a few references to job listings for Apple's medical division.
I think these were positions to augment the iWatch so it would have medical applications.

Please be aware that there is a company called Apple Medical NOT the Apple Inc. everyone is referencing.

You forgot to say "IMO."
Because you really don't know either.
You seem to think that repeatedly sending disgruntled messages will influence those that read the board?
It feels like you don't have a positive contribution to make so you're working on shaking out cheap shares.
An R/S hasn't been shown to be a singularly positive move, without major supporting events to maintain the pps. Perhaps they try "those" major supporting events first before considering an R/S?
I'm surprised to come to the conclusion that you're shaking the tree.

Heck no.

A very brief guide to Texas speak and a few food definitions/colloquialisms.
Titan. (Just to stay on topic)
There should be a "holiday" similar to St. Patrick's day for anyone that wants to be a Texan for a day.
Y'all - singular for addressing 1 person.
All Y'all - plural. No "s" at the end of Y'all.
If/when you hear someone address you and they say "Bless Your Heart" - they're calling you a $umb A$$ - to your face, but they mean it in a very sincere manner.
Breakfast - Biscuits and Gravy. "Cracked" means broken open and served open face. Can be either (traditional) "white cream (made from flour & milk/bacon grease/oil of your choice) with black pepper, or Red Eye (traditional with left over coffee from yesterday) usually with a slice of ham, or sausage gravy which is a combination of the "traditional" and sausage pieces. Grits are a good option with honey, or butter and salt and pepper . Eggs optional.
Flavor - Bacon grease - magical flavor enhancer for all things cooked to be eaten.
Flavor - Garlic, onion, or chile pepper. Any single or combination thereof.
Flavor - Cilantro (Coriander leaves)
Flavor - Hot sauce.
Chili- No beans or tomatoes.
Bar B Q - (Caution - Never declare "the best" as this will lead to a fight faster than pinching someone else's lady) Typically brisket - but since there is a limited daily supply, can be any indirectly smoked meat with salt & pepper rub, or a combination of spices called dry rub. Charred with a red smoke ring found just on the outer edge of the inside. May be turned, but no basting of any sauce - of any kind. Sauce on the side - only if absolutely necessary. The stories are true, that there are those that have been known to sleep outside the restaurant to hold a place in line.
Hamburger - any ground meat. Traditionally with mustard only, and other condiments as desired. Ketchup upon request.
Soda - Dr. Pepper
Coke - Dr. Pepper.
Soft drink - Dr. Pepper.
Ginger Ale - mixer for adult beverages. Unless it's Vernors (I added this one.)
Food at the TX State Fair - Funnel Cake, corn dog, snow cone, anything else that can be fried and served. And I mean anything.
Most popular name for a long horn steer - T-Bone.
Your BFF - the dog. The keeper of all your secrets.
Some popular names for your BFF - Ace, Booger, Rooster, Jake, Diesel, Gus, Willy, Zeak, Butch, Scooter, Red (obviously only if the dog is red, bless your heart).
And my favorite: REGARDLESS - without paying attention to the present situation; despite the prevailing circumstances; and the proper word to use if you're thinking about saying "irregardless."
Thank you for your time and attention to this important subject matter.
This message is approved by the only Texan that has never heard or said a bad word about Canada or any of our friends from the "Great White North." And yes, while it's a heck of a trip - I've been many, many times. Titan SPORT or no Titan SPORT.
Regards,
BK
Excuse me ( I really mean you).
First - let me please say that "REGARDLESS" of the vote, a $12 pps would get you a very nice glass of scotch in Vegas with my deepest gratitude. I expect, and will enjoy meeting everyone, hopefully sometime in the not too distant future.
Second - y'all is a singular reference down here. All y'all is plural.
I don't care who won. (fib) I want someone to care about $19,000,000,000,000.00 (That's $19M x $1M) Oh look a parallel to Titan's finance issue!!!! (See how I tied that back to this company?)
I want to know if anyone within this readership has benefited the last 8 years, at a cost of $9,000,000,000,000.00?
FYI. That's a stack of $1.00 bills from earth to the moon - AND BACK again. TWICE.
IMO a successful Titan will make this conversation palatable. But I don't understand your comment about the southern drama.
He won, or should I say "she" lost because of the complete lack of understanding for her, and the Blue party's behavior these past 8 years. Very, very little has changed in the south. Thankfully we're all doing our part and working toward improving international relations by supporting Titan.
There's more to this than we'll ever know, but I wanted to encourage those that have inside information and influence to create the greatest effect, in the shortest amount of time to get us to $12pps and beyond.
Thank you all very much for your efforts.

I've written 3 responses to this message. Before I respond I want to clearly understand your point.
I'm not going to assume that I understand your point, because I just don't.
A) Did you send a letter to the BoD or management 2 years ago?
B) Are you looking for credit for your opinion from 2 years ago, or was it for your effort to strongly suggest that someone craft a letter to Titan?
Just want to understand your point. It's a slow news day.
Thanks.

I agree with you. So why keep EVC?
They're expensive for what I perceive as their value.

If Barker is willing to share and have a conversation, why do we need to pay EVC?
I still want to know the priority and strategy to get to CE without having an adverse effect on FDA certification. And.... the significance of a VP of Sales.
Thank you again to all.

This letter was to both quell and attract additional shareholders that understand the product and potential market for this product.
I'm amazed that Hargrove just didn't get how important this letter could be. True, I thought that he did understand the value and it was the lawyers that were putting a muzzle on communication. I have to believe that their council is still in place and this letter is vague enough. REGARDLESS.... it's a welcome addition and eliminates some speculation as to what they're thinking, doing, and addressing.
Great effort by all, and thank you Mustang.

Typical pps manipulation BS.
Spend a few hundred dollars to take down the pps.
It's clearly not buying and selling for a profit. The differences are only $10-$20 dollars.

Maybe, maybe not.
If there are several engineering test units sitting around, why not ship one to the EU and leave it there? Of course we don't know how many there are, where they are in the eval process, or if they have a secure location to store one overseas. It would make sense if CE and the CA/EU are the first targets. While a lot can be accomplished discussing video demo's - if the goal is to generate interest with the main purpose to find funding, having a dormant but functional test unit in the EU should be a consideration if it's not beyond a reasonable expense. It's hard to fish without bait.
This unfortunately falls within the category of "we don't know what we don't know."
It would be a good question to add to the list for Mustang. By the way, my first car was a '66 Mustang, 289 3-speed, buckets, Robin's egg blue with cream interior. I'll never own a nicer ride.

Somebody knows something.
They wouldn't be hiring all of these highly credentialed professionals if there was no basis from which to produce successful multiple oncological applications. It would be spending money unwisely. Further, to that point - hiring these professionals only further supports the efforts to develop and produce results that will lead to successful clinical outcomes.
My only other alternate source for this conclusion would be a very high trade volume - which I'm looking and waiting for that next. That would lead me to believe that there has been information shared through the professional grapevine.

BK
You're absolutely correct.

Addressing the 800# gorilla.
IMO - Updates about SPORT other than at trade shows would have a direct impact on financing. I think that Titan did a really bad job understanding the correlation between the two, and came to the wrong conclusion - which was silence is golden.
IMO - silence was the solution to addressing the downside risk of creating disappointment through public updates. Announcements are a double edged sword. PR is all about getting out in front of the subject matter, good or bad. Titan hasn't figured out how to control the message and stay out in front of the financing issues. Verb is creating their own message, controlling the information and trying to create interest. Titan is further along, but who cares? My point is - find and reach "who cares." Is it the large hospital corp? I would research how to get funding from the Canadian gov't. Titan can become an international corporation, and SPORT a universally acceptable product, creating many, many jobs. Surgery may not be the only application for SPORT IP either.
Regards,
BK
Here are a few of my questions.
My questions are specific to the product development and certification.
The biggest open-ended question for me is: "Is their main goal to get the robot certified?
And.... "How are they addressing the steps necessary to get there?"
A) Are all of the previous Ximedica resources assigned back to SPORT? Is Ximedica working with Plexus yet? Has any part of SPORT been handed off to Plexus?
B) What are the minimum number of documented surgical procedures necessary to prove SPORTS "task based" functionality, as compared to the target predicate device? How many are completed? What's the schedule based on the tasks to be completed?
C) What's their view of "the shortest distance between where the development stands today, and the most expeditious path to CE?" Also, does the path to CE affect any of the requirements to FDA certification?
D) When was the last meeting with either agency (ref. CE & FDA), and when are the next meetings scheduled?
Thank you for considering any of these questions, if they are applicable.
Thank you.
Regards,
BK
Congratulations to ATTBF and to Dr. Panenka.
Incredible addition based on real-world experience that is easily transferred and applicable to their competitive business model.
U.S. and international investigative research of the effects of THC and CBD, across the entire spectrum of psychiatry. They now have a key internal resource who can both provide direction and guidance into the chosen product - based on the human condition, and interpret the research for new product development. It may lead to the basis from which ATTBF can Copyright and Trademark "the requisite explanation" as to how and why the contents of the products will be beneficial. Copyright, Trademark, and patent. New organic (pun intended) IP. Added value and competitive barriers to entry. Very strategic addition.
Only time will tell, but ATTBF is much more competitive today with this new team member.
Regards,
BK
My bad. Good catch.
I can't believe that I overlooked the fact that "it's" just manufacturing and not design development and manufacturing. Thanks. More people in the room to unravel this bowl of spaghetti is very helpful.
Regards,
BK
Now I'm more than curious.
I thought that we "had" an end effector manufacturer? Why would Titan need to have Ximedica design a gripper (clamp, alligator clip, scissors, etc.)?
That patent application was submitted just last week. Curiouser and curiouser.....
Anyone else have any ideas???
Thanks.
Regards,
BK
This is for an "end effector" (like ST said, an instrument) attached to an arm.
It describes 2 separate jaws, attached to each other via a coupler, and a coupling link (socket) at the opposite end to connect to an appendage.
It sounds like either a "gripper" or perhaps scissors? The jaws do not move along a channel, like the jaws of a Crescent wrench. Rather, one jaw will "pivot" from a single joint like a set of needle nose pliers.
Does anyone know why a surgeon would use scissors instead of a cautery hook?
See this drawing for an example: http://planning.cs.uiuc.edu/node107.html
Not enough details to determine more unfortunately.
HTH.

What a crock. Try talking down some other stock, somewhere else perhaps?

It will move soon.
Right now TLTFF is just making small waves. It will take a little while for the "news" and performance to reach the masses that invest in this type of company, in this market. It's all about reaching the next exchange so bigger money investors and institutions can invest.
I'll be real curious to hear about the presentation and any reaction from those in the audience. Presenting in France, and by Dr. Lilge is very significant in and of itself. EU/world exposure.......
Stem cell therapy is being practiced on humans in Russia, but you don't get it here in the U.S., not sure if it's available in Canada or the EU either. There was a recent news release of a policewomen in TX that received the procedure in Russia for MS, and is back at work and doing well. I don't think what we're talking about from TLTFF is in the same level of risk as stem cell procedures, so my conclusion is that it will be more readily received with a more curious and interested audience.
Been in this one for many years. Waiting, waiting, waiting hopefully just a few weeks/months more.
Thanks CUIN2 for the find.

What's the info?

That can be part of Plan A.
What's the revenue potential for CA and EU, vs USA? And how much sooner can they get to CE? Time, features and tasks cost money.
If the design freeze contains 90% of what the FDA requires, or close - the company doesn't need to go for further delusion.
Once there is a market value because of CE mark, and a revenue vehicle as a marketable product then there will be a pps multiple. Further, once pps is above the minimum requirements, then Titan must move ASAP to uplist and get further mileage. That has to be a focus for mgmt too.
You have to get to a viable launch point, then go beyond. I think reaching for a bigger target audience may be a bridge too far because of past mistakes. It may not be as big an issue if funding becomes available, but that's a big TBD. It's time to get the most expeditious plan in place to build confidence.
Regards,
BK
What's Plan A?
Confidence. Is there ever enough? For me, at this point, questions and answers need to address their plan(s).
A) I'd like see the first question asked - "What is Plan A - THE single most important goal for Titan?" If it's funding then "Why does the development model appear to be over elaborate, and not the shortest distance between two points?" Meaning, "Why aren't the fewest tasks, which are currently being documented, the bare minimum necessary to get to CE mark?" If the list of "tasks" that are being proven have been reduced to get to CE mark - as quickly as possible, and need less funding - then announce those changes and provide the fuel for new enthusiasm and boost the confidence/pps.
B) Titan is a small company with ONE product. Messages/PR's NEED to be focused on reducing or eliminating speculation. The messages must convey confidence, or address the issues that create lack of confidence. Speculation leads to doubt, which leads to risk, which leads to lack of confidence.
C) Now, I don't think previous mgmt. could say what "Plan A" was, regardless of their (false) statements of having adequate funding. Whether they were going to sell this device on their own, or work for a strategic partnership or M/A. So the that leads me to ask questions that include all scenarios. Plan A - and how/why. Plan B - how/why and if not A or B, then C. That takes all of the speculation out of the conversations. Period.
SPORT has been unveiled, we are passed the speculation about whether Ximedica could engineer and build SPORT. I like the suggestions about scheduled NR's and PR's about where SPORT will be available to see demo's.
If Verb can use smoke and mirrors, surely Titan can do much better and provide concrete answers that instill confidence in their plans.
Let's present the questions that will provide clarity and confidence.
Regards,
BK
This was the next BIG milestone.
You/we can only take these one step at a time. This was HUGE in the process.
As far as what I think as to why HC did approve much earlier than expected: There's very high credibility within the team that RW has assembled across the multiple elements linked together to get this to a Ph1-b trial. I think that lead HC to conclude that there is very little risk to the procedures based on PMCC participation, and the medical team experience and reputations that's been assembled
I do think that the pps will reflect the milestone. I don't think the "word" is out yet and we will see pps appreciation of 10%-20%. I think that's a low estimate/guess, but I try to estimate low regardless. If it goes higher I'm happy to be wrong.
I think that once the financing is done, there will be other lab rat tests to move the PDC across multiple cancers as quickly as possible. Only funding is holding back the research and testing.
The more data and research, the more exposure and pps appreciation. IMO.
Regards,
BK
When you see the ASK below the average pps for the day, someone's just burning shares to keep the pps down.
Regards,
BK
We have warrants for financing if pps goes above $.50 CD.
If I remember that figure correctly. So there is financing to address, but perhaps not as ugly as it could have been. This award may create competition for financing. IMO.
The Stockhouse group is over the moon. They're running every financing scenario possible, and the general consensus that the warrants are the best way to get better funding, but the financiers want to suppress the pps in the $.40 range to make the most money possible. If there are any opportunities for the pps to go above $.44 CD and maintain that pps, then we go much higher fast. Just repeateing what's being discussed on SH.
Volume on TSX is over 2.5M for today - so far.

BK
