Not only that but absolutely no financials on the company and since they changed the name, much of the previous data disappeared. That can make it virtually impossible to follow - rather like the game of cups. Which hand is holding the penny? In September this thing was trading under PTRN pretty good. Still trading in November. Then comes a name change, a PR campaign - no other data - that was AFTER people bought in. The data is out there for all to see but I wouldn't say it's all good. As I keep saying - due diligence is one thing - not having information available from the company in order to do that, is near impossible.
Pristine Solutions Inc. (OTCBB: PRTN) traded in the range of $0.46 and $0.53 during its latest trading session. The stock had opened at $0.50 and closed at $0.48. Sept 2012
Thanks Auda. I do appreciate your hard work. I agree that the trials themselves ARE more costly - without question. I go back to a Feb 2012 that can be found on this site, when a poster said he received an email from Withrow himself that said they are PRE-IRB and not even in trials as of yet with no clear date on when anything will happen. My point was the filing of the IRB itself is not exorbitant so when he told the poster that he is still pre filing, that is contrary to everything the campaign itself was gearing the investors up for. In summary it was absolutely misleading. If these are professionals who really want this to succeed, they are not being in the least professional in their treatment of shareholders when all they need to do is put out a notification now and again for us all to read and make decisions on as to say or exit. At this point a lot of people bought in before the name change the fall in share price - hoping that this was a legit company with a good product. The fact they are pre-irb - which is just an independent review prior to a clinical trial - means those ducks we all thought they had in a row, weren't.
Auda that might be however, if they have said they are pre-irb and the irb is just a first filing - they have had 7 months to do it. The shares were trading high during those months and I'm sure there was enough to file the IRB that would have moved them toward trials. An IRB from what I have read has minimal costs when there is minimal risk and in the case of tropine3, it was again my understanding from the PR campaign, that the substance was already being used and therefore was not considered high risk. Therefore, if you take a valuation from around the States, you can find the general cost for an IRB to be for example $5,000. Even if it were double that to file - is that exorbitant? It wouldn't seem so at all. Bear in mind that is just for the IRB but as I have said, in Feb of this year, they responded to another poster, that they are still in Pre-IRB. I have to find a few thousand to pay for dental bills, if my project that I intended to make money on was my lifeline and my work - I would find the cash to put into it. Since the company refuses to file any sort of report, people have been left to wonder on their own. The idea that Berman is still holding stock really doesn't mean much at this point. She isn't putting her face or name on the PR and isn't relying on that stock for any sort of income. I think the fact she pulled herself off the PR for the time being is important.
Yes, I'm not sure what is going on. I took that information from the post that showed the email from Bermans office where they said those things - that email was removed from the board. A company has to file an 8k for a number of reasons including for example, if there is a change in finance or directors etc. This is just a way to keep shareholders in the loop. There hasn't been anything filed that I found here, as of January when they announced the name change and new sticker. That means you can't even find information on the company up to that point. If Berman removed herself from the online campaign and there is no mention of ESSI on her website, then when did she leave and should this have meant an 8k filing? If her office said she believed there was a problem with money - when exactly did this problem with money happen? Those are relevant because in August 2012 when the company was pushing this stock and it was much higher in value, the PR indicated that the company was at that time preparing for clinical trials. Everyone assumes that this meant filing and then proceeding. Then in Feb 2013 we hear that they are just only in the PRE-IRB state - that means they haven't even filed that application in order to proceed. So what happened to the money taken before the name change, if the first step was filing for an IRB then why wasn't it done in August 2012 when the PR indicated they were on their way. If they are still in pre-irb, then exactly what's been going on. One realizes that penny stock is a volatile investment and most people think there are no rules around them - that is not correct. The SEC has definite rules and they investigate many claims. At any given point the CEO should have come out and simply advised where they were in flling paperwork etc - that in itself does not constitute a pump and dump - it means that the shareholder is able to decide whether the company is some place they wish to keep their money. If they filed a name change to avoid a link back to their company - and we have had no information since that change - then I think we should all have more answers as to why the past was wiped clean with no information on the future.
The previous email you got from Dr Bermans office said that she had asked them to pull her picture from the PR data online and that she would be willing to go back online with promotion when things were moving forward. As well I believe her office indicated that they believed there was an issue of not having any money to continue on with the project. That was the email that was removed - if all this was true - then everyone needs to ask at what point the funding was an issue, whether or not this project is in fact ever going anywhere because as pointed out, back in August 2012, the PR was pointing to them being at the stage where they were moving into trials. This is probably why the Dr joined in the campaign and that information is the reason a lot of people bought in. Legitimacy. The Dr removes her public person from the company so there is no link at this point and if you go into her website in the news section, there is no mention of her being affiliated with the company - then her office says there is no money - how long, whats the truth? Where are they going and when?
So - reading all the PR we bought in when it was PRTN, then the ticker was changed causing some confusion for a lot of people. Then reading the PR it was pretty clear that the company in August 2012 was preparing to begin the work for clinical trials back then. Now a poster got an email back in February from Withrow, claiming that the company was now in Pre-IRB..checking the IRB information out, it seems that this protocol only takes 3 weeks to 6 weeks. So if they knew that back in August 2012 and started the protocol, there should have been news back in October 2012. Nothing. So in actual fact it appears that nothing has been done since last summer because if they were proceeding toward trials, the IRB would have been completed early on. Now a month ago we are still pre-IRB? I'm confused. If they haven't even applied yet, and are still pre...then what was the point of getting everyone all pumped up based on the PR? Everyone has been more than patient but I feel that the PR hasn't lined up with what we are hearing.
When may I begin data collection for my study?
You must receive written approval from the IRB before beginning participant recruitment, data collection, or data analysis. A memo will be sent to you via e-mail when your project has IRB approval.
13. How long will it take for me to obtain approval to do my study?
That depends on the nature of your study and the characteristics of the people you intend to recruit. Research projects that involve only minimal risks are eligible for expedited review, for which you should allow at least 3 weeks for IRB review.
Research projects that involve greater than minimal risk to participants will need to go to the full board for review, which is scheduled for the first Friday of every month. For applications requiring full board review, you should allow at least 4-6 weeks for review and approval of your study.
That's what I am getting. I feel like I've been scammed big time because when the company doesn't come out and tell the shareholder that they didn't get the okay to go forward with any trials, when they refuse to send out any PR on the notion that they don't want a pump and dump - it smells really really really bad. All their previous PR and why people bought was based on that PR - after that people waited because the company didn't bother to tell anyone that they weren't moving on with it when we all thought they would.
Thats interesting because the reason we weren't getting any information was because they were in trials and couldn't talk about it. So - based on what has to be concluded as false information - people bought in believing the company was in clinical trials that were due to be completed between April and June - yet here we sit now being told they aren't even in clinical trials.
LOL...yeah...all this searching and seeking - I really want this thing to take off so I am hoping for the best..
Thanks very much. I don't think any of us have a problem holding if we believe this is a good thing but considering we are all just trying to do our own homework, it helps if the company respects our positions in helping them along the way.
This address could be a virtual office or part of virtual offices. It was the subject of an article in July 2012 and at that time, prior to ESSI, it was reported to be a virtual office and admittedly that doesn't mean that a business is not legitimate as there are a number of ways to save money while at the same time conducting business. That being said, everyone that has bought into a business has a right to ask these questions and should have a right to an answer so that they can continue to amass information from their own DD. This is where some communication from ESSI would be very, very helpful.
Thanks..appreciate it.
Auda, does this mean that you have had emails from the company? I absolutely understand them not wanting a P&D but I guess just quelling the questions of this being a legit company, no live person on the phone, no email response for most people, a question of Dr Berman still being connected? Those answers don't push to a pump and dump but just keep the shareholders up to date, in the loop even at a minor level and stop the whispers...
I'm not ready to call a scam...but I think there has to be something seriously wrong when a company doesn't answer an email. I did email myself yesterday so I will let you know what the outcome of that - does anyone even know if this address is still being used by the company? Hopefully I will hear back some time today or tomorrow. Like I said I do understand the difference between a little PR or no PR but nothing?
As for Dr Berman...I also went in and reread the general info and don't see her name but I found all of the PR content with her name on it - quite a bit. She has a website and is well known on the talk circuit for womens issues and she does appear to have a twitter account but couldn't find an email -
While I agree a good PR department isn't necessary - it helps if a live person has enough of an interest to respond to an email or answering machine. If someone were to notice that it 'appears' one of the key figures in the product PR is a Doctor and that Doctor seems to be missing off the product info when the company is supposed to be in trials - and if they were asked for an update on that issue by email - most companies would issue a PR and/or respond to the question due to the relevance of the subject matter. I think DD includes examining all the cast of characters - if one changes - and you continue to do your DD by asking questions about it - but - the company doesn't respond, then no matter how much you take the time to do, you can't rely on any information that is put up by the company. I am holding here but....
I can understand them wanting to stay away from the PRTN bad publicity but not giving the shareholder any news at all isn't good PR either. It has an 'I don't care' attitude about it and that's a shame. I wish the poster who called and got the machine had left a message - I would have been interested to know what they said in response to any questions.
Thanks for that update - yours and ssmitho. At the very least it gives some hope that good news is coming..at the very worst people can just ignore it and move on. I think we will get our news either by Monday or shortly after but that's just my own opinion.
Thanks that would be great. It's sometimes impossible to stay motivated if the company isn't also motivated to keep the shareholders up to date on where they are. Anything except an echo would be a good thing. Anything. The reason people say the summer is because the company is supposed to be in trials now - depending on how it's going, you could see news as early as April or as late as June. Six months.

It would be absolutely wonderful to have someone give us an update of some kind on how the trials are going. In the meantime, taken from their information and emails, we are to understand that they are in clinical trials now with results that should arrive between April - June. I wonder given the fact those dates are a good 3 month spread, what would stop the CEO from giving some kind of PR on how close they are to completing these trials.

Homatropine has almost 40 years of visibility and is already a generic drug; therefore the trial will not be looking at toxicity which is almost always a main reason for a drugs delay in obtaining a regulatory approval. The Company anticipates that the Study will be completed, barring any unforeseen delays, some time during the 2nd calendar quarter of 2013.
The Clinical Trial will be a Phase 2-3, Prospective, Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Dose Escalation, Parallel-Group-Study to Test the Efficacy and Safety of Homatropine Methylbromide Oral Suspension on Selected Climacteric Symptoms and Quality of Life in Menopausal Women Not Receiving HRT.
I think that information is no different than any other 'opinion' of any other stock 'predictor' in action. I put it up there because it's just one of many and of interest to BMSN holders. You can discount it or not - it's up to you. Deciding when to buy or sell isn't based on science because if it were, we would all be able to predict without any uncertainty when to buy and when to sell. Do your own research but don't disparage ALL other opinions because they may be equally as important as your own when it comes to making decisions. I'm holding...and yes, I DO like good news, any good news..it's a personal choice.

Pinball Wizard and PS4?
I just heard the announcement on the news that the PS4 is coming out - how will this affect NTEK? Will we see some PR around cohesion in regards to consoles and streaming between NanoTech and Sony for example? Will the Pinball Wizard become part of a retail campaign for PS4 sales? Just thinking out loud....
Feeling crappy today and doing my best to ignore all the negative talk about NTEK.
I only have a small bit in this but I have read EVERY single bit of information that I can find on the company, what it is doing, where it is headed and the long term goals. At this point I am interested in this company for what it represents - growth and progress. I like it. I am interested in it. I want to see it do well - if it does well, I do so too. It's a win/win.
I appreciate all the work that other posters have done in making available articles, information and charts because it helps us all.
If people were in fact reading all the information they've been given, they already had a heads up on what the latest report was going to give them. Why try to push down on it when you should have been aware of what was going on. I hope this stock soars.....I believe it will. NTEK.
Posted on the other ESSI board however, I think it maybe was for this board...hoping a copy was okay as it was an opinion of another poster there - I agree, I hope it is legit - without any news whatsoever, it's hard to keep investors motivated and instead works to scare people away IMHO.
Ed Withrow and Mike Borkowskis should be aware of this..

February 15, 2013: Federal authorities have arrested 14 people, including a former deputy district attorney, that were named in two federal indictments alleging long-term schemes to manipulate stock prices of intrinsically worthless companies. The schemes led to more than 20,000 investors losing over $30 million, as artificially inflated stock prices collapsed. Investigators with the FBI and Internal Revenue Service used wiretaps to secretly record thousands of telephone calls and text messages during a three-year investigation. As one defendant described his scheme during a wiretapped phone call: “What I do is turn stock into money.”
The indictments revolved around the manipulations of five penny stock issues: Frogads, Inc. (FROG), Biostem Us Corp. (HAIR), Genmed Holding Corp. (GENM), Sports Endurance, Inc. (SENZ) and Empire Post Media, Inc. (EMPM). We begged our subscribers to watch out for FROG in several advisories we issued, included those that can be retrieved by clicking here, here and here. We warned readers about EMPM in this advisory.

PRTN now called ESSI went through two pumps and dumps and caused investors major losses. Ed and Mike issued announcements and e-mails regarding the Tropine 3 FDA trials and have gone completely silent in recent months.
Thanks for posting that... I love good news first thing in the morning! BMSN!
What he said - Learning every step of the way and a great thanks to all of you for that! GO BMSN!
Denver and Mediswipe seem like they would be a good fit considering all the benefits of using the MWIP system - safety, data collection, legality, government guidelines etc. I wonder when I read these articles if MWIP has their reps on these issues right off the bat to get a foothold in that market area. Given the revenue the product is bringing in, I always think that it would behoove the city to seek out and work with ways to improve the service and not remove it. Maybe we will hear that Denver and MWIP have joined forces shortly...
