Yes, I'm not sure what is going on. I took that information from the post that showed the email from Bermans office where they said those things - that email was removed from the board. A company has to file an 8k for a number of reasons including for example, if there is a change in finance or directors etc. This is just a way to keep shareholders in the loop. There hasn't been anything filed that I found here, as of January when they announced the name change and new sticker. That means you can't even find information on the company up to that point. If Berman removed herself from the online campaign and there is no mention of ESSI on her website, then when did she leave and should this have meant an 8k filing? If her office said she believed there was a problem with money - when exactly did this problem with money happen? Those are relevant because in August 2012 when the company was pushing this stock and it was much higher in value, the PR indicated that the company was at that time preparing for clinical trials. Everyone assumes that this meant filing and then proceeding. Then in Feb 2013 we hear that they are just only in the PRE-IRB state - that means they haven't even filed that application in order to proceed. So what happened to the money taken before the name change, if the first step was filing for an IRB then why wasn't it done in August 2012 when the PR indicated they were on their way. If they are still in pre-irb, then exactly what's been going on. One realizes that penny stock is a volatile investment and most people think there are no rules around them - that is not correct. The SEC has definite rules and they investigate many claims. At any given point the CEO should have come out and simply advised where they were in flling paperwork etc - that in itself does not constitute a pump and dump - it means that the shareholder is able to decide whether the company is some place they wish to keep their money. If they filed a name change to avoid a link back to their company - and we have had no information since that change - then I think we should all have more answers as to why the past was wiped clean with no information on the future.
