bladetrader, As was pointed out earlier...
All they have to do is issue an updated PR restating the effective date of the R/S as Aug20 for owners of record of Aug4.
Then the issue goes away completely.
But they'll probably have to sell a few million more shares to raise the $300 to pay for that PR.
VV
Looking Good: UP over 57% on heavy volume.
Hopefully this is just the start of a new trend.

Davenport will be cutting it shorter soon.
VV
desertwolf01, "...i think anyone in the company will and would not sell..."
Yeah, that's a pretty true statement: They either WILL or they WON'T.
I am certainly NOT saying that the company could be acquired for $6 million.
I am only suggesting that an acquisition is possible, based on the current market capitalization. Acquisitions nearly always go off at a premium to the market. I don't recall ever seeing one go at a discount.
VV
desertwolf01, Even at the max A/S and today's Ask PPS of .003 ...
... the total liquidity is only about $6 Million.
A buyout is certainly possible. I did some DD on this possibility last week.
IBM happens to be following a strategy of acquisition, and this is the type of company that they might be interested in.

It will be interesting to see if the A/S is similarly affected.
If that drops by 1 for 100,000 then Good On Ya Davenport.
Otherwise, the A/S number always seems to be a "self-fulfilling prophecy".
What will it take to make that "rat smell" go away?
VV
Z732Z, "...will be worth $1000 dollars"
Well first off, there is a gigantic difference between COST ("price") and VALUE (as in "worth").
Based on the simple math involved, YES, the share PRICE may go to $10/share simply because of the R/S ratio. But I really doubt that it will ever be WORTH anywhere near that much, given the long track record of massive dilution that has pushed it to this R/S cliff.
It should be obvious that the COST is set by the market factors of Supply vs. Demand. Whereas VALUE is completely in the mind of the beholder. You may claim your (hypothetical) position is "worth" $1000, and that may be true for YOU and completely untrue for most everyone else.
You may think the shares are "worth" more than the current Bid, in which case you may choose NOT to sell. That is the risk associated in seeing this situation only in terms or worth as opposed to cost.
There is always a time delay in the brokerage account from the moment of the R/S event (Aug20) until the shares are converted and available. It is usually around 3 days but can be longer. The pre-split shares have to be "tendered" to the Transfer Agent, who then replaces them with post-split shares. It does take some time to deal with the paperwork involved.
So what if the market sets the price at $10 if you can't sell your shares?
And what do you think might happen during the 3 days your shares are encumbered?
And more importantly, who do you think might be able to sell their shares during that period? I'll give you a hint: his name starts with the letter "D".
But buying a few shares (say 100) in order to participate in the share round-up to the minimum of 100 might be a reasonable play. It is a gamble and not necessarily a sure thing. If $10 turns into $40 (or whatever) then you win. But suppose the Transfer Agent refuses to convert your shares. What do you do then? File a lawsuit for $5? Complain to the "toothless hag" of the SEC?
Look, the ONLY reason I'm here posting is because I already lost a ton of money on this Dilution Pig when I exited months ago. I would like to recoup part of my lost money and that is why I am considering this R/S deal. In reality I hate this stock and I strongly believe Davenport is just another crooked CEO out to fleece his shareholders.
All just my opinion...
VV
Z732Z, You demand an answer for a question that can't be answered...
...without violating the TOU (Terms Of Usage) rules for this web site.
Since this is the SYMW forum you can not even mention any other stock here, without violating the rules.
So, that's pretty slick of you to ask for (demand) such an answer.
And then you punciate your demand with the comment "your an idxxx". That is pretty much an anti-discussion (anti-social) approach. Wouldn't you agree?
VV
G37S, "...no investor would receive less than 100 shares."
So speculators will get nothing?
Pardon me, but I'm just looking for the rabbit hole that Davenport will squeeze thru and allow room to renig.
I have been considering buying 100 shares @ .0002 for .02 total, just to see what will come of it.
VV

TEX, "...may not actually..."
Sounds like you're suggesting that criminals sometimes commit crimes.
In the case of SYMW, the CEO has been milking the shareholders for quite a while with the massive dilution. I doubt he has any friends among shareholders. If he doesn't follow the SEC rules then he may be doing the perp walk.

VV
Are you considering this?
I am.
But first, I want to check those corporate papers. I've already lost too much money on this stock.
VV
e-ore, You're Right! That is probably the weak link in this.
They are a pink sheet company so they don't file. You would have to rely on the ethics of the CEO to keep his word. In my opinion, that is not a good bet at all.
The PR did mention changing the Corporate Charter at the state level to permit the round-up feature, or whatever. So maybe that might be a reasonable substitute.
But, for only $10... ?
Let's just call it a "cheap thrill" and leave it at that.
VV
WOW! That's the worst R/S ratio I've ever seen.
Late last year, I had a position in SymPowerCo. But after holding for six months I recognized it to be a major Dilution Pig. So I dumped out of it at a loss and stopped following the forum and the stock.
However, this 100-minimum share roundup clause might be fun to play for a quick gain. But this company is probably going to start diluting again immediately, so the stock really has NO future at all, IMO.
So IF I wanted to participate, the way it would work is I would probably have to buy at the current Ask of .0002 and probably buy at least one round lot of 100 shares for a purchase price of $0.02 total. Add to that my TDA commission of $9.99 and I would have a total out-of-pocket expenditure of $10.01
And after the R/S I would STILL have 100 shares. And if the R/S ratio affects the PPS in a linear fashion (doubtful) then the share Ask price SHOULD BE about $20. So my position would be worth about $2000. Of course, you can't typically sell at the Ask. And there is no way of telling what the Bid will be.
But assuming the same ratio holds, then the Bid might be about $10 and I could sell out my position for $1000 minus my $10.01 buy-in. BEST CASE I would realize a profit of about $990 on a $10 investment.
That is about a 9,900% gain or ROI. Best Case. Not bad for a short term play. (someone please check my math)
But there are a lot of unresolved "IFs" in this situation. If the stock doesn't hold its PPS ratio, and they seldom do following a R/S, then I might only get something like $50 which is still a 400% gain.
Just playing with the numbers here, as a way of explaining these Round-Up Clause plays. PLEASE, this is NOT a recommendation that anyone should actually buy into this situation.
All just my opinion...
VV
Of course, you're certainly free to post that stuff here.
But that's like "preaching to the choir".
It would do far more good if posted elsewhere, everywhere.
Just a suggestion...
VV

i-Glide, "...one would think that..."
Agreed!
But right now we're at a kind of Mexican Standoff. So no moving for now, or anytime soon. I'm guessing we'll go sideways into late November. That is when I expect the next financial filing. In the meantime there may be some PRs related to the Sturgis Bike Rally.
I am just guessing, but I suspect MOST of those of us who own part of the public float are well under water right now. So I don't see and of the longs turning their shares over any time soon. And the Public Float represents only 9% of the total Outstanding Shares.
The remaining 91% of the Outstanding are owned by the insiders and the shares are (apparently) UNREGISTERED. So they can't sell any shares into the market until next year.
With a trading float of only about 840K shares available, this stock is starved for liquidity. Until more shares enter the market this stock will never trade anywhere near a NORMAL pattern.
Nor will it reflect its true value. Regardless of whether you and others believe the true value is $5 or $50, or whatever... the REAL value is what The Market says it is. All commodities, including stocks, houses, gold, etc... always trade AT THE MARKET.
My point is that there is NO real market for MKRO shares right now.
All just my opinion...

NEWS: Shrink Nanotechnologies Forms Shrink Chips LLC Subsidiary to Commercialize Suite of Biomedical Research Tools and Address the Growing Artisanal Prototyping Business
Last update: 8/3/2010 9:00:12 AM
Initial Shipments of NanoShrink Material Have Been Sent to Key Opinion Leaders and Field Testing Groups for End-User Validation
CARLSBAD, Calif., Aug 03, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Shrink Nanotechnologies, Inc. ("Shrink") (INKN), an innovative nanotechnology company developing products and licensing opportunities in the solar energy production, medical diagnostics and sensors and biotechnology research and development tools businesses, announced today the formation a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Shrink Chips LLC, which is dedicated to the commercialization of a suite of next-generation biotechnology research tools, including its patent-pending ShrinkChip Rapid Prototyping System (RPS) which is used to inexpensively and flexibly manufacture microfluidic chips, or Lab-on-a-Chip (LOC), devices as well as many other biological and chemical sensors.
LOC devices are commonly used to screen new drugs for toxicity levels, and develop new vaccines, therapeutics and novel drug therapies for some of the world's most prevalent and challenging diseases, including cancer, diabetes, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. The use of and analysis from LOC devices, especially in the case of prototyping devices, represents a high cost for R&D groups with academic and commercial organizations. Shrink believes that companies who use Shrink's RPS solutions for initial testing, prototyping and small scale production designs will benefit from increased design flexibility with significant cost reduction.
ShrinkChips's initial suite of products will address two arget markets:
-- a desktop-sized rapid prototyping platform for use in government laboratories, academic research facilities and commercial organizations in the U.S. and abroad; and
-- an "out-of-the-box" complete biotechnology test kit for use in high school biology labs through post graduate studies.
Shrink believes that the markets for the ShrinkChip RPS prototyping platform, which is "open" source, will increase over time as the system is deployed, and academic researchers begin to publish results based on work done using the system and as Shrink begins to go to market with products it has designed and commercialized using the platform.
Mark L. Baum, CEO of Shrink Nanotechnologies, Inc. said, "Since our scientific founder, Dr. Michelle Khine, began to receive attention for her novel method of creating low cost microfluidic, biosensing and chemical sensing devices, Shrink has accumulated interest for a commercial system based on Dr. Khine's ideas. Now that we are getting closer and closer to bringing Dr. Khine's ideas to the market, we have formed ShrinkChips and will have a focused team working on this project, with a specific mission and the resources to pursue the commercial development of the ShrinkChip Rapid Prototyping System, ultimately accelerating the time-to-market for several new bioscience products."
About Shrink Nanotechnologies, Inc.
Shrink Nanotechnologies, Inc. is a one-of-a-kind FIGA(TM) organization, which focuses on leveraging contributions from experts in Finance, Industry, Government and Academia. Operating as a high-technology development-stage company, Shrink owns and develops proprietary and patent-pending nano-sized technologies, components and product systems. The Company's unique NanoShrink(TM) material is a pre-stressed polymer which is used in a patent pending manufacturing platform with numerous applications in the solar energy, human and animal diagnostics, and biotechnology research and development tools industries. Article: Black Hills gears up for rally visitors
By Ruth Brown, Rapid City Journal staff, Monday, August 2, 2010 7:00 am
It’s already been a good season for many Black Hills tourism venues, and now, destinations like Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial and Deadwood are bracing for the invasion of bikers who will come for the 70th anniversary of the Sturgis motorcycle rally, which starts Aug. 9.
“The rally is typically our busiest time of year, so we gear up for lots of traffic and crowds,” said Nav Singh, spokesman and chief of interpretation for Mount Rushmore National Memorial. “There are so many people coming to South Dakota, and we are a huge draw for them.”
The Black Hills Badlands & Lakes Association is expecting an 18 percent increase in visitors over the 434,000 who attended last year’s weeklong celebration of the motorcycle lifestyle.
Bill Honerkamp, president of the tourism association, said this year’s live music lineup that includes rock legends like Bob Dylan, ZZ Top, Guns N’ Roses, and Ozzy Osbourne is one reason they are predicting more visitors this year.
“It’s the best we’ve ever seen during the rally,” he said of the entertainment.
If the rally is as successful as many anticipate, it will mean more good news for the area’s major tourist attractions.
Crazy Horse Memorial officials say their summer numbers have already been boosted by a large number international tourist groups.
“This June, compared to first six months of 2009, we are up 6 percent in admission numbers,” said Pat Dobbs, media specialist at Crazy Horse Memorial. “For the first half of July 2010, we’re already up 10 percent.”
Dobbs said the rally will only boost the numbers at the memorial, which is about 30 miles south of Rapid City.
“It’s a really busy time during the rally, and the motorcyclists have been very fond of Crazy Horse in past years,” he said. “I think bikers like to come to Crazy Horse because they are drawn to the independent spirit of Crazy Horse.”
The venue is raffling a custom chopper during the rally. The winner will be announced Sept. 6. “The bike was donated to us, and we have been selling raffle tickets all year,” Dobbs said. “We will be announcing the winner on Sept. 6 because that is not only the anniversary of the death of Crazy Horse, but it also the day the founding sculptor of the memorial was born.”
Business, meanwhile, is booming this summer in Deadwood, according to its visitor’s bureau.
“It’s been a good summer for us,” said George Milos, director of the Deadwood Chamber & Visitors Bureau. “Through May, our gaming revenues are up 20 percent, compared to 2009. Our taxable sales are also up by about 20 percent.”
Deadwood is preparing for an influx of bikers by allowing parking on Main Street, where casinos and restaurants will be waiting to serve them, he said.
“A great majority of the bikers come up because it’s a beautiful ride, and every day, we get new people coming in,” Milos said. “We are definitely optimistic about the rest of the year.”
Mount Rushmore, perhaps the single largest attraction in the area, reports that its numbers are up about 2 percent as of June, when compared to last year.
“Last year was the first year we had over 3 million visitors, so we really hope to keep up with that in 2010,” Singh said.
Rushmore officials could know soon if they’re on target for that: More visitors come to the national monument during the Sturgis rally than any other time of year.

Just going thru the SEC Form 10Q for period ending 31Mar2010...
... published on 24May2010, and I am finding some very interesting facts that, seem to me, to be quite peculiar. If my findings are true then this stock is ridiculously UNDERVALUED at the current market price.
Keep in mind that this 10Q report is the most current information available, and the numbers, most likely, have changed somewhat over the last few months. But we should be getting an update by late August.
On the Consolidated Balance Sheet page 3 they list as Assets:
$915,410.00 in CASH. WOW! That is highly unusual for a penny stock.
Under Shareholders Equity they state the Shares Outstanding as 340,579,815
SO, if you divide the cash on hand by the number of shares outstanding you get a result of $0.0027 per share.
This means this stock is currently selling for just a fraction of a penny ( .0005 ) over the value of ONLY the cash on hand. As I write this post the market Ask is $0.0032 per share. This company might be a target of acquisition just for this cash alone
And furthermore, that does NOT even include the Accounts Receivable Net of $266,544.00 which is money owed to the company. I would assume that after nearly 4 months that they would have collected most of that money. And they probably have a similar amount of Receivables as of today. Any collected Receivables would further increase the cash on hand figure and make this stock an even better buy.
At the bottom of page 3 they list TOTAL LIABILITIES AND SHAREHOLDERS' EQUITY as $3,228,714.00
If you multiply the number of shares outstanding by the current market Ask price you get a total Market Capitalization value of $1,089,855.41
So, as of today, this stock is selling for about 30% of its SHAREHOLDERS' EQUITY value. That is a substantial discount to book value. Based on these figures, if the company were liquidated, every shareholder would receive about a 300% premium for their shares. Obviously, with $915K on hand, there is little possibility of a liquidation; this is ONLY an example. And with that amount of cash available it is highly unlikely they would be diluting their share base either.
And finally, the fact I find most peculiar is that under CURRENT ASSETS they list Computer Software as valued at $20,033.00
I am making a broad assumption that this includes all of their product software for Internet Commerce, Virtual Catalog and Magazine, and Email Marketing. So if I am correct then $20K is a truely ridiculously LOW valuation. The product family is probably worth more like $20 million. Something is way out of wack here. Either the $20K is for something else and the product software is not listed as an asset, OR ELSE it is way undervalued by about a factor of 100X.
So, is there something I'm missing here?
I am neither an accountant, nor a math wiz, so if someone would like to check my work or offer criticism, you can refer to the source document here:

"Seasonality
The distribution of medical products and medical diagnostics in aggregate account for the overwhelming percentage of our revenues. Our experiences point to a business that displays certain seasonal trends. In each of the last three operating years, our order intake was concentrated in the first five months of the calendar year and to an identifiable but lesser degree in the last two months of the calendar year. One explanation is that these months correspond with the beginning of a prescription drug plan years where new prescription drug cards are distributed by insurers to their insured in January along with new plan formularies (price schedules). This in turn trends to influence “stocking up” buying/ordering behavior on the part of the insured.
