Hey Blue, I'll bet you didn't make that phone call don't kill the myth.
Blue, this will probably be deleted so read fast. First of all it's not an effort to make you buy, sell or hold, but to arm yourself with knowledge so you can make an objective decision.
Google MDEQ and look on the site for the Bio permitting section, give them a call and ask about USSEC (tell them you are a shareholder). Tell them they have just started to sell the product, even refrence Geo Biofuels, they have internet access and can see for themselves. Then ask if any permitting would be required since they are going from an R&D to commercial production and if the company has even applied for said permitting and if not how long would it take for a permit to be issued under the best case scenario. You might be able to engage them in conversation about other ventures in Mississippi.
Then armed with the information ask yourself what adult would sit down and write a BP in modern industrial America for a refinery and when it comes to government compliance write, "don't need no stinkin' permits". And then to know that the fate of the company rests in a guy driving from Conn to pick up fuel after publicly calling the local sheriff dumb and threatening a law suit against him for trying to dutifully serve papers on the CEO.
Now, I know you probably won't do any of this, but that is why you are in the fix you are in and I also think that because no one else will either the share price could go up short term. When you arm yourself with good DD you can play the game more effectively. GLTY
How many ads? That's the money. BTW, how do you people think you fund a start up? Ad rates before circulation builds are low, almost gratuitous. Someone better tell him to leave out the politics wrong forum. Maybe they can do an issue for fashion/beauty tips for wearing a burka, concentrating on the eyes. LOL
That would make them eligible for free shares of the new company USSBS (U S Sustainable Bio Shit), right?
A little assist for navigating the shark infested waters of pennyland:

You might say, I was a SrVP of a major Houston mortgage lender from '72 - '86.
This is Conn/Bio du jour when he finds out the jig is up:

Play the whole thing.
Might also explain why there has been no public verification of the "sale" or pending sale. In a figurative sense there are some "dead bodies" strewn about form Port Gibson to Natchez, my guess, that would explain an obscure business story about a law suit against the CEO showing up on a C/W radio station website.
Thanks for the reminder of the fertilizer sale, although I think a case could be made that it would be under the R&D umbrella, but it is a revenue stream (ok trickle). I'm thinking the "I don't need no stinkin' permits" genie is out of the bottle and the real question would be did they ever intend to get them.
And to further complete your education, if the SEC determines activity that would be considered criminal, they refer to the Justice Department (insider trading or any other of a host of illegal trading activities).
From reading the PR (ONYI/GRCO) I would believe that it would not have been very difficult to determined the quality of this group BEFORE signing an MOI, LOI, LOU, LOUIE LOUIE, or whatever acronym fits.
One last heads up on the next delay. Currently they are producing the "juice/additive" under the guise of an R&D operation with no permitting required. When the fuel is sold that designation is over and as a commercial entity they will require MDEQ air permitting and perhaps others. As of today there has been no application by the company for these permits, pretty strange don't you think? Time frame for the permitting process, 6 months to a year. GLTA
None of my business, but you paid 570 shares or 10% to buy your stock. Might want to find another broker.
On another front I called B&N in The Woodlands, TX and they said they carry the magazine. I asked if they had any and she went to the rack and could not find one (periodical inventory not in compter) next issue out August. I asked her how many she would get and she could not tell me but since it's bi-monthly she guessed 10, so I told her I wanted all 10 and would call to confirm around mid August. My intent is to have my wife take 8 to her crew room with a questionaire affixed inside the cover and a couple of lines for general comments, the other two will go to her hairdressers, strike that Salons, LOL. If you have any suggestions for the survey please post. TIA
The finger from one hand, liars certificates from the other. Ain't it great?
It's called "chain of custody" and all products submitted for registration, permitting or any other evaluation must follow protocol. Not to mention that all evaluation parameters that are required must be met, not just what you want. Go look at some of the applications at the various agencies and see if you think these guys have the stuff to even complete one.
Sorry for the insolence it really wasn't intended. It's just people don't understand market dynamics, especially in the pinks. I really want to like this stock and have even gone against my own rules about buying pennies. One is to talk with someone substantial at the company and two is to underrstand how a revenue stream is developed and when it can be expected. If anything my suspicions are raised because after repeated attempts I have failed (emails/telephone), then I read someone on the board has talked with the CFO. But I guess for me the real question is why a man of Stan's stature is this still on the pinks, it just doesn't make sense. Sorry for the rudeness. GLTY
Son, don't give up the day job. Without traders this would be sub .10 in a blink. No bash just fact. Good news today, finally, POW issues a PR.
How about this? Ring any bells?

I know the local mantra is "old news", yeah, same song different verse.
"Let me ask plz do you think its a good product it has passed testing with flying colors so where does the problem lie."
You answered your own question with,"the last word."
Since this your first penny you might read post #40030. GLTY
Towards the end of the call someone asked about distribution and the number I thought he responded with was 457 outlets. Did I hear right?
"And we will continue to develop other media and products to better brand the manufacturers who have signed on as advertised promotional partners."
Would someone that can be on the call ask the specifics of this statement. Is it another publication or Salon City Hair Spray?
Good point. I emailed the reporter at the ND with the letter. Who knows maybe the Senator can help with the SEC (I wonder if he knew) anyway he should have pull with MDEQ and be able to help there. For those who believe revenues are just around the corner because USSE will get a pass on licenseing and permitting, the following:
http://www.newsobserver.com/news/story/599471.html
In modern industrial America you don't just set up refineries and thumb your nose at regulators. How do you think they justify their jobs? But is/was a great letter.
I'm listening how do you ask a question?
Maybe you should change brokers, I've bought 50K today at the low +.001 and yesterday same thing. GLTA
As far as sending fuel to DOE for testing I'm not sure they didn't mean EERE:
http://www1.eere.energy.gov/communicationstandards/web/testing.html
scroll down to the Q&A and see if this group could comply. 9 out of 10 times initial testing results are received from "authorized" labs, a small number thru out the country. I don't believe Ruston, LA is on the list, but will check. Remember use common sense instead of relying on the uninformed. LOL
Here's a novel idea, why don't you call them and ask (SEC).
No doubt on the move

And since you guys think 2 weeks absence of people trying to make you think objectively will allow the stock to rocket, see ya. Party on!
What happened?
Why is Marvel releasing the Stan Lee action figure, or better yet why didn't Lee through POWN due the deal with Hasbro? Will Lee/POWN participate in revenues, and if so wouldn't that be material information to be PR'd?
Remember that the original PR said that "most" of his intellectual properties were in POWN, the question would be exactly what is not. Not bashing, just asking. I've traded this twice and currently hold 5k at below Friday's close.
Man that's what I call a cold pump.
That might be a bit ambitious, 3+ billion, since Disney's last acquisition was Pixar for a little over 7 billion. Right now holding above .18/.19 is most important.
I would say that because of this old article the answer could be yes. However, because of the lack of visiabality in "pinks" you don't know for sure. I'm more concerned about the word "most" as it pertains to the transfer of intellectual properties after Marvel. For my money I will trade until more light is shed. GLTA
Jun 19, 2006 (Pink Sheets News Service) — Los Angeles, CA December 13, 2005- POW! Entertainment (PK: POWN), has announced that POW! Entertainment acquired the exclusive rights and ownership in perpetuity to the name "Stan Lee", his likeness, brand and signature slogans "Stan Lee Presents", Excelsior" and "Stan's Soap Box. POW! also acquired most of the intellectual properties created by Stan Lee during the period beginning after his tenure as Marvel's chief creative officer, editor in chief, and publisher and predate POW! Entertainment. The rights are in addition to new properties that are currently being developed by Stan Lee for other major entertainment conglomerates on behalf of POW! Entertainment.
Just as long as he doesn't start speaking in tongues.
That's not what's really important. That was issued because of Mr. Lee's age and to reassure shareholders that in the event of the worst the company continues. There is one word in that PR that should be of concern, reread carefully, and proceed accordingly with that knowledge. GLTA
Still haven't had any reply, you? (2 emails)
And as I've said I'm not asking PR'able information. You invest your way I'll invest mine. I call or email all companies I invest in with request for all kinds of information, their reply, either generate interest or not.
Nor I, not a good sign that Disney replies (albeit cryptic) and the company doesn't. At least my "don't buy till you get a reply" theory worked. GLTA
I have to say I am very tempted at these levels.
Amber, were you able to get a response from the company? TIA
And since you guys think 2 weeks absence of people trying to make you think objectively will allow the stock to rocket, see ya. Party on!
<< JR might be fairly pissed with the local officials. I can see were other states and cities would offer tax incentives to improve their economies.>>
You could make a few phone calls and find just the opposite to be the case. Maybe some "officials" don't like being used in a penny stock scheme. Make a list, determine out how many of the companies proclamations have validity, start out by calling Ms. Stallcup. Then ask yourself this question, would you carry the water for your boy?
Amber, I hope you get a response. I emailed POW myself 2 days ago and got no reply. It's a quirk with me I won't invest in a penny if they will not answer a couple of simple questions.
My questions? From your website it is apparent you have a revenue stream: why are you not a reporting company?
People don't realize if this were a reporting company you could double or triple the numbers you are looking at now (and probably have a lot less volatility). GLTA
A Penny Pumping Parson from Petaluma willing to Perjure for his Prime Penny, LOL only on the USSE board.
