PAOS - One to keep an eye on. From their Aug 10-Q. I'm impressed that they're nimble enough to raise prices to pass through increased sourcing costs due to lower order volumes. Additionally they're guiding for resumption of more normal ordering volumes for several customers that had disruptions as well as additional sales for a new product they've developed.

Government purchasing has declined during this quarter as the Defense Department has dealt with uncertainties regarding its funding and the Company had raised some of its offering prices to accommodate transient higher goods costs necessitated by required purchases of smaller lots. Longer term, although a reduced Government purchasing schedule will impact sales to manufacturers, the pace of operations of the military and prescribed maintenance schedules are the driving forces behind the consumption of the parts supplied by the Company to the Government and reallocation of inventory investment will generally maintain present government sales levels. Repair and maintenance to equipment no longer immediately required for combat requirements will take an extended time. Additionally possible restrictions of new purchases will mitigate toward additional repair and refurbishment of existing equipment.

During the first quarter, the Company opened a warehouse facility in Denton Texas to serve one of its customers. This facility allows the customer to anticipate just in time delivery from the now closely located facility, rather than to be concerned about shipping delays, and will result in additional sales of additional products to the customer, the initial impact during the first quarter and a portion of this quarter was to reduce the Company's sales to the customer as the customer absorbed its safety stock of materials in its inventory. The Company has seen sales return to anticipated levels in the last part of the second quarter.

The Company has also experienced delay in shipment of orders to the Navy Department as a result of its consolidation, and anticipates restoration of these shipments when the facilities are inspected. The inspection is anticipated to occur in the third quarter.

During the third quarter 2013 the Company anticipates starting shipment of a unique sealing product that it has developed in conjunction with one of the major manufacturers and its customer to fulfill specific customer needs. The product should fulfill similar needs with other customers. The product addresses current product offering technical shortfalls by increasing resistance to torque out and providing an optional self-sealing feature.

The Company believes based on discussions it has had with customers related to sales that its gross profit will improve as 2013 progresses.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has allowed all 41 claims in Quick-Med Technologies' U.S. Patent Application No. 12/830,062 titled, "POLYELECTROLYTE COMPLEX FOR IMPARTING ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES TO A SUBSTRATE." This new patent will provide protection for an improved method of preparing the company's NIMBUS antimicrobial products. The method utilizes a Poly-Electrolyte Complex, or PEC in which a negatively-charged (anionic) polymer is used to stabilize the active antimicrobial agent -- a positively-charged (cationic) polymer. Item 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

The following discussion provides only a brief description of the document described below. The discussion is qualified in its entirety by the full text of the agreement, which is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as an exhibit.

On May 9, 2013, with an effective date as of April 1, 2013, Quick-Med Technologies, Inc. (the “Company” or "we") and VIRIDIS BioPharma Pvt. Ltd. entered into a Patent and Technology License Agreement (the "Agreement") to license our proprietary Nimbus® intellectual property.

Under the Agreement, we grant Viridis exclusive rights to use our proprietary Nimbus intellectual property in hydrophilic polyurethane foam for wound care applications and for securing intravenous tubings and catheters on products sold in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia and their territories and possessions.

In consideration for the execution of the Agreement, Viridis will pay a royalty of 7.5% on net sales for each product. The Agreement shall continue to be in effect for a term of five years from the effective date, unless terminated earlier for breach or bankruptcy.


The Agreement is in addition to the Patent and Technology License Agreement of July 26, 2010 (including Amendments 1-3) (“2010 Patent Agreement”). We also entered into a fourth amendment of the 2010 Patent Amendment on May 9, 2013 that extended the term of the 2010 Patent Agreement to March 31, 2018

There are no material relationships between the Company or its affiliates and any of the parties to the Agreement, other than with respect to this Agreement and the Agreement dated July 26, 2010 with amendments 1-4.

The State Intellectual Property of the People's Republic of China and the Patent Office of India have granted Quick-Med Technologies' pending patent entitled "Disinfectant with Quaternary Ammonium Polymer and Copolymers" in their respective jurisdictions. Additionally, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office has issued a "Notice of Allowance" for this pending patent in Canada. These new patents will significantly expand the international intellectual property coverage for NIMBUS.

The three new patents are similar to U.S. Patent No. 8,088,400, also entitled "Disinfectant with Quaternary Ammonium Polymer and Copolymers." They cover the Company's novel polyurethane-modified polycation, the newest member of the NIMBUS technology family of antimicrobials. NIMBUS technology encompasses the chemistry of antimicrobials that comprise a high charge density polycation that is built into the backbone of various polymers such as polyurethane in this case.

The new patents are key "composition-of-matter" patents that cover incorporation of a NIMBUS polycation into main chain of a urethane polymer. The physical state of the polyurethane polycation can be modified to alter the strength of the antimicrobial, the breathability of the film or coating and its flexibility or rigidity. The patents provide protection for various claims regarding the efficacy and durability of an antimicrobial polyurethane.

quarter ended June 30, 2013.

The Company is pleased to report third quarter revenue of $1,700,341, a 5% increase over last year’s figure of
$1,622,335. Income from Operating Activities was $344,998 vs. $38,401 in 2012 while net earnings were $180,891 compared to a $10,503 loss in 2012. These comparisons include a 2012 exceptional item of $294,666, or $210,392 after tax.

The nine month revenue was $4,886,746, a 12% increase over the comparable period of the prior year’s revenue of $4,354,909, with income from Operating Activities of $973,406 increasing 75% over the prior year’s nine month results when normalized by excluding the exceptional item noted above.

Net earnings for the nine months were $555,429, up 167% over last year.

This year’s third quarter results provided net earnings of 0.5¢ per share (1.5¢ year-to-date) compared to nil in the prior year (0.6¢ prior year-to-date), on both a basic and fully diluted basis. IWG ANNOUNCES GROWTH IN REVENUES AND OPERATING INCOME FOR THE SECOND QUARTER OF FISCAL 2013

Burnaby, BC, Canada – IWG Technologies Inc. (IWG) today announced its financial results for fiscal 2013’s second quarter ended March 31, 2013.

The Company is pleased to report second quarter revenue of $1,835,041, a 25% increase over last year’s figure of $1,463,213. Income from Operating Activities was $452,566 vs. $111,539, a fourfold increase over a year earlier. Net earnings were $266,312 compared to $94,953 for last year’s second quarter. The current quarter’s revenue growth did benefit from some anticipated first quarter deliveries being made in the second quarter.

Six month revenue was $3,186,405, a 17% increase over the comparable period of the prior year’s revenue of $2,732,574, with income from Operating Activities of $628,407 increasing 280% over the prior year’s six month period. Net earnings for the six months were $374,539, up 171% over last year.

This year’s second quarter results provided net earnings of 0.7¢ per share (1.0¢ year-to-date) compared to 0.3¢ in the prior year (0.6¢ prior year-to-date), on both a basic and fully diluted basis. IWG ANNOUNCES GROWTH IN REVENUES AND OPERATING INCOME FOR THE FIRST QUARTER OF FISCAL 2013

January 29, 2013 Burnaby, BC, Canada – IWG Technologies Inc. (IWG) today announced its financial results for fiscal 2013’s first quarter ended December 31, 2012.

The Company is pleased to report quarter revenue of $1,351,363 a 6% increase over the previous year’s figure of $1,269,361. Income from Operating Activities was $175,841 vs. $112,138 a 57% increase over a year earlier. Net earnings were $108,227 compared to $123,793 for last year’s first quarter. Prior year’s first quarter results benefited with a foreign exchange gain.
This year’s first quarter results provided net earnings of 0.3¢ per share compared to 0.3¢ in the prior year, on both a basic and fully diluted basis. Detailed financial statements and MD&A will be available on www.sedar.com and the company website at www.iwgtech.com.

The license fees are really profitable because there is little work to be done but actual installation of programs will require staff and time. They need the financing of the debenture to be done so they can afford to hire all the necessary staff and finance a/r.

This PR should put them over the top. They are doing convertible debentures that pay 10% for 2 years and convert to stock at .25/share. I turned them down because the canadian certs are a pain. Maybe I should have said yes! LOL!

Toronto Ontario: NTG Clarity Networks Inc., (TSX VENTURE:NCI), a world leader in the telecommunications OSS/BSS market, is pleased to announce record second quarter 2013 financial results. The Company experienced a 76% increase in revenues during the second quarter of 2013 to $2,149,380 compared to $1,223,697 during the same period in 2012. (All amounts in Canadian dollars). 
  
 NTG has generated more than $2 million in sales this quarter. This increase in revenue was mainly due to demand for our professional services and product licenses. For the six months, the Company posted revenues of $3,636,252 compared to $2,284,168, an increase of 59%. Gross margin was 63% for the second quarter of 2013, and 57% for the six months. Gross margins in the prior year were 39% for both the 3 and 6 month period. 
  
 Net income for the second quarter of 2013 increased by 299% to $829,403 or $0.03 per share and exceeded the entire annual profit from 2012. For the first half of 2013, net income rose 595% to $1,031,467 as compared to $148,341 in the first half of 2012. The increase in profitability was due mainly to increased revenues in product licenses which are market oriented and highly profitable. 
  
 As at June 30, 2013, NTG Clarity had positive working capital of $1,836,806 ($0.06 per share).

 During the first half of 2013, NTG Clarity announced several new projects for leading mobile operators in the Gulf region, which includes NTS installations/enhancements, professional service resources and data migration. The revenue from these projects is estimated at over USD $9.5 million, the bulk of which is expected to be completed during 2013. 
  
 At the end of June, 2013, NTG Clarity made application to the TSX Venture Exchange to raise capital to fund these new projects. Subsequent to quarter end, the Company received conditional approval from the Exchange for a private placement of up to $1,000,000 subordinated convertible debentures that will mature two years from closing and will bear an interest rate of 10%. The debentures are convertible, at the option of the holder, into common shares at a price of $0.25 per share at anytime during the duration of the debenture. These funds will be used as working capital to fund the Company's growth.

The Tootie Pie Story, as it exists today, began in 2004 when Don Merrill, our President & CEO, read an article about Ruby Lorraine “Tootie” Feagan in the newspaper. SAN ANTONIO – Tootie Pie Company, Inc. (OTCQB:TOOT) reported that annual revenue jumped 35%, to $2,732,858 for fiscal year ending March, 2012, versus $2,027,547 for March, 2011.

“We made a significant investment in our Tootie Pie Gourmet Cafes in the last couple of years and that investment is paying off,” reported Don L. Merrill, Jr. President & CEO. “Our Cafés are doing well and we are very excited about the upcoming holiday pie season.”

Cash Flow (EBIDTA and other non cash items) improved 33% to a loss of $363,116 for the year ending March 31, 2012, versus $539,752 for the same period in 2011.

When the Reverse Stock Split is consummated, shareholders owning fewer than 10,000 shares of Common Stock will no longer have any equity interest in the Company and will not participate in our future earnings or any increases in the value of our assets or operations. Thus, only our employees, executive officers, directors and continuing shareholders will benefit from any future increase in our earnings. The shareholders who will continue to hold an equity interest in the Company after the Reverse Stock Split will own a security, the liquidity of which will be severely restricted. The Reverse Stock Split will (i) cause us to cash out shares held by any shareholder holding fewer than 10,000 shares, and (ii) change the percentage of Common Stock held by the remaining shareholders to 100%.

The Board of Directors recommends that the Company’s shareholders vote “FOR” the Certificate of Amendment to effect the Reverse Stock Split. The recommendation of the Board of Directors was made after careful consideration of all the material factors, both positive and negative, as described above.

NCI.v, of course nothing is a "guaranteed winner" as you said. Afterall it's the stock market. But it's always interesting to buy a stock which trades at really cheap levels plus got some nice new huge contracts.

NCI is tiny and before the string of announcements had very low liquidity. Canadian markets have been very bad and this company has rallied before and fallen on tough times so it isn't a slam dunk.

I got caught with a hundred or two hundred thousand shares a few years ago when it looked like they were poised to take off. They lost some big contracts and went to sleep. Unfortunately I still had my shares. It was ugly getting out. So it's not a guaranteed winner until we see those revs roll thru the P&L at good margins.

But the size of the announcements compared to previous sales sure makes it look like they are going to have a great 12-18 month run.

Already fallen back to C$.21 today. Every time I post a new high, stocks seem to sell off. We won't see results from new contracts for awhile. Q2 will be out in August so that's two months away. Should pop revs even if they are just getting going on one or two of the contracts. That should add some fuel to the fire.

My .12 bid is still there is the floor gives way. LOL!

I have a feeling that the gross margins will be lower than the recent qtr because they said that software licenses were the cause for the high margins. Since one of the PR's for the new LOI's mentioned that it was an existing customer, I am guessing that they are not buying new licenses but just expanding.

In addition, it takes time to implement new contracts. Most people are assuming that the contracts will all start immediately and are prorating revs evenly thru the contract length. I don't think that will necessarily happen. We also don't know the details of the contract terms. Anyway, I agree that .06 or .07 eps is likely for 2013. I want to see the first partial qtr before I commit to .08. I think it's possible but may not happen due to the timing of the contract rollouts. I would love to be surprised.

Burnaby, BC, Canada – IWG Technologies Inc. (IWG) today announced its financial results for fiscal 2013’s second quarter ended March 31, 2013.

The Company is pleased to report second quarter revenue of $1,835,041, a 25% increase over last year’s figure of $1,463,213. Income from Operating Activities was $452,566 vs. $111,539, a fourfold increase over a year earlier. Net earnings were $266,312 compared to $94,953 for last year’s second quarter

The current quarter’s revenue growth did benefit from some anticipated first quarter deliveries being made in the second quarter.

Six month revenue was $3,186,405, a 17% increase over the comparable period of the prior year’s revenue of $2,732,574, with income from Operating Activities of $628,407 increasing 280% over the prior year’s six month period. Net earnings for the six months were $374,539, up 171% over last year.

This year’s second quarter results provided net earnings of 0.7¢ per share (1.0¢ year-to-date) compared to 0.3¢ in the prior year (0.6¢ prior year-to-date), on both a basic and fully diluted basis. bought a small position today in BNLB. I like the sector and the overseas expansion. My buy price of .102 looked reasonable but price dropped to .097 so already underwater a few bucks.

Sales growth is good and net profits should follow. Profits will likely be hurt short term by expansion efforts but this is a fairly high margin business so it shouldn't take long to produce better profits from the increase in sales.
