There have been no announcements or press releases made by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHFA or the US Treasury.

I called Fannie Mae and was not given a direct answer. I spoke with the Director of Media and External Relations and was informed that the announcement of dividend payments via the Fannie Mae media office is not usually done. Only in one case has that been publicly announced: the 59 billion DTA. if one goes to Fannie Mae and tweets from there, if you have a Twitter account, the info may come out. It is from there that the press may pick up the story or from the US Treasury.

Even so, the payment is being announced as paid or will be made by various outlets because of the announcements in the 10-K and 8K that the dividend is to be sent to the US Treasury by March, 2014.
