Schloss, I agree that the definition of earnings is of paramount importance. Therefore I gave a link how he has calculated his numbers, pleasse note that the numbers go back way over 100 years. He does not take TTM earnings but kind of a trailing 10 YEAR average. So the current PE ratio still includes bubble earnings. FYI.
