It could just be that Amazon or NTEK did not want the Amazon box to have gaming functionality... That is of course assuming that there is a partnership here between the companies. It is tempting to chew on this rumor because of the mentions of "ONE retailer holding things up" and the release of the NP-1 supposedly any day now. The April 2nd timing of the event is uncanny.
All of this said, chances are Tuesday will come and go, and all of the NTEK-Amazon hype will be gone along with it. We may see 7's mid next week. If we do, I'm buying more.
