There are no Shorts...
The March semi-monthly report for trades ending 14-Mar is now available. Surprise there are 0 Shares Short Interest.
We've already discussed in the past, it's insane to Short any stock under $5, with a $2.5/sh margin requirement. If I had an extra $2.5M laying around it wouldn't be tied up in 1M shares Short in TRII, trying for a max gain of $10K while waiting an indefinite amount of time. Instead it would be deployed "Long" into a NYSE stock with a 50% run yet to come. Which would you choose to go for: a $10K or a $1.125M gain? Well???
The only thing the Short conspiracy provides the microcap "investor" is an excuse. TRII starts with no float, and the PPS at $1. Duncan's hired gun goes looking for volume to sell into, lowering the PPS, while creating the float along the way. Well, we can't blame Duncan for that can we? And for all who bought at 0.42, seeing it churning at 01-02 can't be too comforting. Getting back to 0.42 just to break even is going to be hell. Can't blame Duncan, and we need an excuse don't we? It's those damn Shorts taking the PPS down! Not only that but it makes waiting in purgatory back at 0.42 a little more hopeful. There's always that dreamed for mythical "Short squeeze", with the PPS magically soaring back up to 0.42 and beyond. After all it did start at $1. We're gonna get those Shorts gud!
Meanwhile the reality has Duncan continuing to dump company shares. By now the restrictions against other issued shares reported in the 10K are off. Plenty of shares for affiliates to dump. And there is the annoying fact there are no short interest shares being reported to FINRA via rule 4560. It's extremely difficult to squeeze mythical Shorts which don't exist, and never will in this stock. Oh well...
