The 1966/82 secular bear market had at least three major (more than 12 months) counter move cyclical bulls. I am not a historian, but I think that the 1929/1934 bear also had at least one counter move that lasted more than six months, not sure though (I was not there, but was around in the 1966/82 period breaking my teeth on that one (g).)

<1) Current P/Es - whether it's GAAP, Proforma, or Core. Have we ever had a new bull (cyclical or not) start from these valuations? > a very emphatic NEVER.
Why is this happening? Alan Greenspan , in my vigorously negative view of his procedures, doesn't give a damn about the average investor and forces them into the market by making it impossible for these many millions that can't get enough yearly yield to have a chance to have a retirement nest egg so they are being (by Greenspan) forced to get back in the market WAY to soon.
Zeev i accept fully that rejects my view, but that is my view; that Greenspan is going to destroy the average investor. gd.
p.s.also the Fed Model that AJC lives by is one of greatest shams in history.
