<<It was the smallest growth in construction spending since June. Outlays increased 1% in December>. i view this stat as important a stat we can monitor for signs of a recession forming. If Contruction spending combined with construction employment start trending negative i will go so far as to say we have a recession not far off, a virtual certainty.
