OT - You do it yourself? I looked into about 5-6 years ago, and there wasn't much info then. Now google brings up tons of info and places to get kits. Just a few clicks of the mouse and they are on the way to your house. If I find some time, I've got a couple of sets of speakers at least that I need to do.

I started looking into it again because I got interested in fixing up some old organs I have and was wondering what to do about the speakers. And here's a tidbit on where you can get cheap speakers. Garage sales. Ask them how old the speakers are. If over 15 yrs, take the grill off and say see that. The foam will be all crumbly and falling out. If it hasn't started falling out yet because the speakers hadn't been used, all you have to do is barely touch it and it will. Tell them the speakers are ruined (they are unless you replace the foam) and depending on if that were used after the foam rotted, might really be ruined. Usually you can talk them out of them for free or at most a $1.
