seabass- seems you forget the 'innocent until proven guilty' applies to Bush too. Accusations are a dime a dozen especially against one elects to throw their hat into the ring to run for public office and jumps into the fishbowl that the modern media has created of political races.
Seems also that you are not insisting on applying the same standards of proof to your sources as you want to apply to Bush ... and you insist Bush step forward and address these accusations and attempt to prove a negative ...
You remarks about the year in a crack house reflect only on you - not Bush. That you'd even present them under the same guise of reliability with which you try to present matters on Bush's service record is ridiculous.
This ol' military man thinks we have nothing other than a troublemaker on our hands, one who simply enjoys criticizing, rather than contributing; castigating rather than evaluating .. I, of course, speak of you, not of Bush.
I challenge you demand that same degree of proof of your own sources and accusations, as you seem to want Bush to produce. You are slinging accusations that have been around now for years, and have never developed into 'facts' ... in fact, those accusations have much less basis, apparently, than the many accusations of immorality which plagued Clinton for eight years of the eight years he spent in the oval office. I ask you, did you demand Clinton to disprove those?
Somehow, I seriously doubt you did. Which of course in itself appears to speak to the double standards you apparently espouse as part of your own morals and ethics .... which in turn raises doubt that you can claim the moral high ground to demand anything of anyone .... let alone of a man who has been elected to the Presidency of this great nation, and about whom not a single one of those loose accusations which you seem to hold so dear has been proven ...
Sorry to say, but it is that very attitude which has and is bringing about the overall moral decay of this great nation. I hope you are proud of the fact that you indict and convict on no more evidence than has been provided for these accusations.
