I guess that you aren't a tad bit miffed about the missed deadlines, all the talk, at times, bigger than the size of their boots, etc., etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.
Sometime just keeping your head down your eye on the prize and your back to the task at hand gets you there faster and easier than making promises that you just can't control. If it ain't in your wheelhouse, then keep it to yourself.
I use ask my boys when they were going up and did something stupid what it was all about. Invariably they would say that they were just trying to find themselves. I would respond by saying, "Well, if you are trying to find yourself, then all you have to do is put your hand in your pants!"

I am just waiting for the announcement that something tangible has finally been completed and operational.
