Well, so you say. Your argument is bordering on the absurd here. You seem to be saying theft should be legal as long you steal something you weren't going to buy. What ARE you saying? Are you saying that there should be an exception in IP laws for people who wouldn't have bought otherwise? Don't you realize that your exception would completly swallow the rule and negate any rights the producer has?
I mean, would it be OK in your opinion for me to Xerox a best selling book, bind it, and sell it at $5.00 a copy, instead the $21.00 it fetches in bookstores, as long as I only sell it to people who wouldn't have bought it otherwise?
