I agree with you on the DOW but not until the end of this decade. Our disagreement is on Gold.
By the end of this Bear, however, Prozac will be over-the-counter.

West, I think the European Central bankers maybe readying Europe for a lot of social instability. 10% unemployment cannot be sustained for a long time, but that is what their tight policy will bring. The impact of social instability on the soundness of their currency will be greater than erring a little on the "lose" side today. Of course, Duisenberg profess "Austrian discipline", but too much of that discipline can bring disaster. Mind you, you have a $3000 target on gold, do you have a time frame and once more, how does that fit with your recent turn to the bull side (Dow 10673 to 11100, #msg-975504)?

Do you think the dollar is going to $5 to $8 to the Euro? If not why gold at $3000/ounce?
