“The Nuvola player’s ability to stream 4K content complements the Akamai Intelligent Network’s ability to deliver content at this ultra-high quality level,” said Will Law, principal architect, media engineering, Akamai. "In providing an end-point for streaming delivery, it offers a more flexible alternative to store-and-forward download solutions while the Android operating system simplifies player development and the small form factor facilitates deployment. We expect the Nuvola to accelerate residential 4K adoption.”
I'm not sure how you can compare using software to that. Maybe someone should let Will Law he's being quoted...lol
Interestingly there is no mention of NTEK on either Akamai's or Ittiam's website. Not a single peep.
Oh well, more NTEK IR crapola - spinning taking a license to H.365 and VP9 codecs as "partnering" is like saying you're a Mircosoft partner when you install Office on your computer and agree to the license terms.
We're ALL Microsoft "partners" now!
Funny that none of the partners' websites mention NTEK. LOL!
None of NTEKs Partners ever mention them
