Didn't Wheeler briefly mention these patents either in a presentation, conference call or their last filing? Most likely this is simply another desperate attempt by TEVA. Interesting the effect on MNTA's stock price but no boost to TEVA's.

Seems like a desperate attempt with low probability of success. But with $3.2B+ at risk pretty much anything is worth a try.

Found this albeit dated article on patent reissue timing ~ 5 yrs. I'm sure they now do it faster now though....

So with 2 1/2 months before possible launch due to patent expiration and only 18 months of potential reissue patent protection seems unlikely that it could be reissued in time especially if MNTA/Sandoz object and draw it out.....
