), announced today a Physician Marketing Agreement with Beyond Benefits, Inc. introducing Physiciansite.com to approximately 284,072 physicians and 2,736 hospitals in Beyond Benefits' nationwide Preferred Provider Organization


(PPO) network.




Beyond Benefits, Inc., based in Long Beach, CA, serves a combined 6 million individuals through its subsidiary Preferred Health Network (PHN




) and through its pending acquisition of HealthStar, Inc. The combined subsidiaries form one of the nation's largest PPOs offering services in 50 states.

The multiyear agreement follows a recent announcement made by Physiciansite.com in which HealthStar of Scottsdale, AZ, has agreed to acquire 49 percent of Physiciansite.com's common shares in a stock and cash transaction valued at $43 million. Physiciansite.com, scheduled to go live in late September, is an Internet-based physician portal site that is designed to simplify day-to-day physician practice management activities by integrating multiple administrative, communication and e-commerce transactions into the physician's desktop while working with well-known industry leaders to drive down the cost of health care in the physician's practice.
